[Resolved]  Airtel Landline — Shifting of Airtel Landline

Phone Landline connection with internet not shifted

My self, Sanjive Kumar Gupta R/o B-182, Sector 48, Noida having Mobile No. [protected], a consumer of Airtel Landline connection with broadband connection having no[protected]. I am earlier residing in G-109, Sector 41, Noida, now I am shifted to B-182, Sector 48, Noida (nearly 200 meters away form my old address). I have submitted a request for shifting on call centre of Airtel on 06.11.2009 vide request no[protected], another request on[protected] vide request no[protected], another request on[protected] vide request no. 26769169 and many more which i cann't remember.On first request I have told from the representative that in next 6 days your request will be answered but no one turned up. Subsequently, every time I called to call centre, I am told that there shall be a visit which is due from technical team after that the connection will be shifted to new address. After a long time from my first request with regular follow up, finally i have got a call and got information that the same is not possible as there is no network while my new address is only approx. 200 meters away from my old address.I have taken this connection in November, 2004 on the request of there Executive after surrendering my old BSNL Connection no. 2502932. I am a regular customer of Airtel since 2004 and have made all the payment on regular basis to Airtel with no defalt. Through this complaint, I hereby further request to Airtel to look into the matter and do the needful and it a no network area, so why the customer will suffer while airtel have many other options like Data Card, WLL etc.Kindly do the needful and oblige.Sanjive Kumar Gupta[protected].B-182, Sector 48, Noida – 201301 (U.P.)Email : [protected]@yahoo.com

It is very SHAMFUL for a very large group such as Bharti neither to satisfy its customer nor to BOTHER to solve the problem of its very old customer.

I requested and made payment for IPTV. After approx 10 days and several reminder some one from installation team visited home. The person was so rude
in behaviour and he said he would come after 1 haur, but not come yet.

I am like crying now for Airtel services, it's my 2nd experience with Airtel landline.
Kindly help me to get it installed.

Hi, Even i am having the same problem. I am Rohit Manchanda with Airtel Landline number[protected], and my registered mobile number is [protected]. I put shifting of my Airtel Wi-FI connection (Request number 376272) from my old address H.No- 746, Sector 19A, Near Max Hospital to my new address WZ - 1271, 4th Floor, Nangal Raya (West Delhi) on 13th Sept 2010. I have been calling up the customer care desk time and again so get the updated status. Everytime i am being given an assurence that our representative will come to collect the related documents, but no one has turned up yet. I am using my airtel connection from Jan 2009 and i am a regular connection of airtel. This is really pathetic service that i am having.

Airtel — Shifting Request - Pathetic Service

After shifting to a new house, made a request to Airtel to shift the phone.

First Request Made: Aug 30 (strangely, this SR doesn't even reflect in their systems)
Second Request Made: Oct 15 (no one called us and they marked it closed after a few days)
Third Request Made: Dec first week
Shifting Done: Evening of third request
Disconnected: Next day

In the meanwhile, I paid the bill for Aug till Oct. On the day of shifting I had made another complaint saying how it took lot more than the 7 day SLA for sifting and how Airtel owes me money (whereas they were asking me to pay the Nov bill as well!). Now, they have disconnected the line demanding payment for Nov and the complaint is "being looked into".

So you take more than 3 months to shift a line and am expected to pay the bill of 1500 a month all this while? And after doing a shift more than 100 days later, you disconnect the line the next day for non payment?!

Way to go Airtel! Congratulations on stooping lower than a customer would imagine you to.

You have to shift land line number as of now. We may take broadband connection as and when the feasibility available in our area.
