[Resolved]  Airtel — Poor Service and Wrong Commitment

HI, i ma started iEnglish service in Airtel DTH on[protected] and and service started and i using 1 day. and Rs, 30/- deducted from my account. after 1 day i am gating SMS like "Channel update: iEnglish service is being stopped on airtel digitalTV w.e.f. 15/4/2013.The paid amount will be credited to your digitalTV account by 25/4/2013" but still am not gating refund from airtel am alos log compline in custmer care but no resloution.

2nd issue i am facing problem in vedio quality and i log compline in custmer care. after 2 day whithout visit at my home and without my confermation compline closed. and gating SMS your comline has beed closed and issue resolve.

franckly saying airtel DTH service is very very poor dont take airtel new connection.

I am having airtel prepaid connection. I have a lot of problem about the service so provided by the Airtel. There is always network problem so i am never able to make the calls whenever i really need to make the same.Also my Balance gets deducted without any reason.When tried to talk with the customer care executives, either it does not get connected and by chance if it gets connected, the executives are not able to answer any of the queries.Also they are rude while answering.

Airtel — poor service in roaming

Sir,
I am using a AIRTEL postpaid no[protected],

when i came for roaming, i face lot's of problem...
1] i was facing network problem - (even i was in a city range) - i get a message " network can't access".

by the same time how are try to contact me and they get a message " the dialed no is not in use".

2) then i can't view my intermediate bill statement, for that i contact airtel - customer care(compliant no:[protected], they replied me this is a technical problem, we try to rectify two working days, but now 10 days gone, now i contact again, they tell, we can't help you. you can contact Tamil nadu customer care. but still the problem is not salve.

i thought, when ever i was in roaming.. i face like this problem ... and they are not help less.
in this bill.. lot of price difference was there,
(contact TN customer care is chargeable ... )

please give me a solution as soon as possible...

Airtel — Poor roaming connectivity and poor customer care service

I am a prepaid customer of Airtel GSM for last 3 years. Now I am having a Airtel Prepaid sim of Secunderabad for last one month. Since my arrival in Kanpur there is no incoming or outgoing service in my mobile no. [protected] . People sitting at Customer care of Kanpur Region even not knowing the location of Secunderabad/ Hyderabad and their parent state. When I told them that it is AP then they were asking about the location of AP. Further the number of AP Customer care told by them [protected] is not existing or incorrect. when I further queried about the correctness of no. they have roudely disconnected the line stating that my no. belongs to other region and this much only they can do. when I complained about the same to his superior, he was simply favoured his collegue (If required I can tell the name of person). Kindly look into the matter.

Airtel DTH — Poor service and not resolving issues

I have Airtel DTH connection (Big mistake!). Most of the time it does not work and following message is displayed on TV screen:

"Inserted view card is not an Airtel view card or it may not be inserted properly. Please insert a valid viewing card correctly again.
Error Code: 2"

Even after several complains, they do not resolve the issue. Worst part is that, they mark and complain as resolved without taking any action on this.

I am tired of complaining and still there is no resolution. Is there any way I can escalate the issue to get it resolved permanently. Is there anybody who can help me in taking legal action against them?

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor Service and Wrong Information

I had purchased Airtel digital TV connection in Oct 2009.(1750/- plan). I was entitled to get 15% cash back as per the terms and conditions provided by Airtel. However even after the 3 months, the amount has not been refunded back into the account.

The customer care is highly un-responsive and customers are taken for a ride.

Your people when ever we call say that we are registering your complaint with our higher officials but no action is being taken. I am really tired and wexed calling for service request. please do let me know if is there any possibility to take your setup box and return my amount. Please do help mein this regard. AirTel — Poor quality of service

Dear Sir/Madam:

Good afternoon.

I have several ongoing issues with your Bharti Airtel Ltd which are as listed below. I need to put it into one mail so that it will be easy to comprehend and understand to other parties who may be invloved in this matter

1. I had paid a refundable deposit for international roaming in the month of February 2009 for the number [protected]. Upon my return from Dubai I had requested for refund of the deposit. I have several ackinowledged letters as well as emails to support my statement. Till date this has not been resolve and the amount paid has not been refunded.

2. I had again in the month of February 2010 paid a refundable deposit of Rs. 4500 for activation of international roaming, for travel to Europe, on the mobile number [protected]. The roaming was not activated and no reason has been given for this up until now. Instead, without my permission my April 2010 bill amount has been adjusted. Please note that one of your cusotmer care representatives called me and informed me that a cheque for Rs. 4500 was being mailed to me and I have a record of this. I was utterly surprised to hear that the bill has been adjusted without my permission. When I called 121 to enquire about this matter, i was told to hold the line and the call was disconnected. I called 198 and wa again disconnected.

3. I was billed for internatinal SMS's in the past month and the current month for the number [protected]. I again called customer care and told them that all SMS's sent were to local numbers and not to UK, country code 0044. It is elementary that you cannot send SMS's to local numbers by prefixing 0044. This can be proved in any forum and am prepared to do so. However, I have paid the full bill amount under protest as I do not want to default on payment.

4. I have been complaining about poor connectivity for numbers [protected], [protected] and [protected] since ages. Nothing has been done about it. I get a SMS message that the matter has been resolved. I have all the SMS's stored as proof.

There appears to be a pattern in all the events in the matters outline above. It seems I am being victimised for making genuine complaints about the utter lack of responsibility on the part of your organisation. This is a matter of gave concern as cusotmer rights have to be honoured and protected.

AirTel — wrong commitment or service

i am brought a new connection of AIRTEL after that i have done recharge in that no.
just after two days my no. is barred and the reason behind that the retailer submit rong document for that no.
after that when i am call customer care for that they told me that submit your documents again but when i am go to thier office they told me that your no. is parrmanently barred.

what the kind of service AIRTEL provide us?

Airtel DTH Service — Poor Quality of Service

I am Ranjit Srivastava. I have Airtel DTH connection (customer id no [protected]). At the time of installation, Engineer have not properly fix the dish resulting cracks in wall.
After 2-3 months of installation, I am facing problem of "No Signal (error code B001)".

Everytime I lodged complaint, engineer is not visiting to my house on single conmplaint. I have to follow-up 3-4 times. And when engineer comes to my house, he does the temproary solution by just moving direction of dish.

After few days again this problem comes.

Last time I lodged complaint at starting of July (before 5th) for which no engineer have visited to me house till 19-July.

I am fedup with the very poor quality of service by Airtel DTH.

Please advise me what can I do for this.

I have two DTH connections at my home in Faridabad. I had registered a complaint with customer care vide regn no 3840621 because none of my sets were receiving any signals since past three days. I was told that the issue would be resolved by 4 pm on Monday, i.e. 13-Sept-2010. However, when no one contacted me till 5:30 pm, I rang up the customer care again, only to be told that now my resolution time is 5:30 pm on 14-Sept.

I had faced the same problem last month also, during which time it took a week's time to get the problem resolved. The service charges were duly deducted from my account, but apparently it was just a temporary fix, as the issue has resurfaced now.
Not sure how long I can bear this undue harassment. If this continues, I would be forced to switch to some other service provider.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Service stopped

Dear Sir,

I had purchased AIrtel ditl dish TV and installed in the month of may'10. Now the subscription period is over.

Now the issue is they have stopped services even for national channels too.I had a talk with there representative on customer care line 12150 on 13th and 14th evening. On 13th they told me that the same will be started very soon but when i called on 14th they denied for starting services for national channels and told me to recahrge for paid channles than only the free channels will released.

Kindly look in to matter and advice.

Airtel DTH — Services discarded

I have recharged my account for viewing the services but still I have not been able to view the programms from last 3 days.
When we speak with the dealer he replies only to speak with cutomer care serices and gives the toll free number which is a recorded CD and by the time it gets connected it gets disconnected automatically.

I had raised a complaint 2 weeks back and service request number is 4421563.
I was not getting any channel, the error being, "No Signal Found" and raised complaint.

After calling continuously for 3 days, an engineer came to my home(Don't know his name) and worked for 3 hours.
I was delayed by 3 hours to go to office but still waited for them to fix.
By the end, i got some channels but some were still not coming.
And also, to add on, this is not fixed, it varies every time.
Then they said, problem is with the set top box(which we purchased from airtel 3 months back)
and hence will come and replace it with new one the very next day.

Now it is one week and no one has come and I feel very pathetic about the whole behaviour.
No one is picking my call now and Customer care says the service request has been closed.
How is this possible?This is how they deal with their customers?
We had paid 5 months rent and took airtel dish which I now think was a mistake from our part.
Very sorry to say but horrible customer service they have. Very very disappointing.

AirTel — about poor service

sir, i am amit from nashik.i was using tata indicom.by mobile portability i transfer that number into airtel prepaid.but airtel doesnt given serive like tata indicom.no recharge confirmation message,no sms pack dial code,no facility of 0.facebook.com....i complain many time but there is action taken by airtel.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — very poor service

I have bought SonyTV and as free bee Airtel Digital HD connection with 3 months subscription free. I have been trying to customer care since the day of the purchase.At last 8th day i got chance to speak to customer care he gave me customer ID with wrong birthday registered.With god's grace i got another chance to speak with customer care within one hour by dialing million times, most of the time network busy. can any one help me to reach Airtel digital TV customer care which is very pathetic.

I, Sanjeet Kumar Sah, want to inform you that I am a Post
Paid customer of Bharti Airtel in Kolkata mobile no. [protected]. They
advertise as we are The best service provider but Sir/Mam I activated
there missed call alert services on about 26-mar-2011 since then I
cant get any alerts. I lodge a complain with them on[protected]. They
called me that your problem is resolve within[protected] at 5 pm. But
unfortunatily my problem is still on[protected]. Then I had made
another call to customer care again Then I got another 48 hours. But
again I cant get any response from Airtel. Since then I have called
more than 10 times and every time their customer care executive
miscommitted me even out supervisior also misscommit me. every time
they call me that the problem will sort out within 48 hours or we will
call back within 4 hours or 1 hours. Some time I told them that I want
to talk with Supervisor then they response me that Supervisor is busy
I call them that I can hold more than an hour but they response me
that he will call back you. But I cant get any response.After that I
made another complain on 02-May-2011 vai e-mail then I got a reply
mail that we are we shall revert to you within 24 hours. But again I
didnt get any response.
So Sir/Mam I requested to you plz do needfull and Plz
dont take my problem as an individual person these types of problem
facing lots of consumers with difference issue. But the companies dont
care to solve these problems.

What you think to solve this problem you needed to one year or more than one year. I lodge complain on 08-april, 2011 and today is 09-may, 2011. And your customer care executive always misscommited. Today call at your 198 number at 20:04. I got replied that no any supervisor is available now they all leave office. Then after sometime she transfer the line to supervisor. and he again told me to give 48 more hours. Now You think about your service standard and now I think that the company give training to customer care excutive to do so. You are not serious about your service.

Airtel DTH — Wrong Resolution of DTH service

On date[protected] I hv register complaint of audio problem in airtel customer care, they hv suggested that there engineers will come and rectify the problme, engineer arrived and change the direction of dish antena, and went away, next day he again arrived with the audio cable and charged 100 rs for the service but problem was not rectified and then engineer told that the problem is in hd setoff box but whenever I called in airtel customer care they commited false commitment and sent the massage that your problem has been resolved but actually problem was not solved. Airtel customer care told that your address is wrong, if my address is wrong then how their engineers reach to my home and changed the cable and carged rs 100 for the same. Airtel has harrased my since 5 days with false commitments. So I am looking forward to take strict action against airtel service

As I written above my first complain here on 03-May, 2011. I lodge first complain with airtel on 08-April, 2011 but till today 02-June, 2011 Airtel cant solve my problem . Its show their poor services even I have a CUG conection with one of the largest group of India with thousands my company employees whom they provide service. Its show there service level. I dont think that they realised that they belongs to service industries and friend due to my not complete 90 days with the company I cant port my number with other service provider as per TRAI regulation and the company enjoy this benefit so they dont care of my problem.
Now I suggest all of my family members and friends and company collegues to avoid Airtel.
