[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid Card — Bill plan change without informing

I have taken a Airtel post paid card from Baroda with a plan of 799 10 months rental. But when I activated my card the message came for 749 yearly rental scheme for 12 months. I have 2 more post paid cards with same 749 12 months scheme. The airtel office in Baroda returned my Rs.50 back. They also checked with Airtel & they confirmed my scheme of Rs 749 yearly rental. Now when bill came they chaged Rs 799 without my information. Now repeatedly complaining they are not ready to change my scheme & told this scheme of Rs 749 yearly rental is no more existing. I received messages of Bill plan for 749 till one month of purchase of new card. This is really cheating & they are not ready to accept, each time I complain they close that mentioning they cant do anything. Following are complaint numbers:

AirTel — to get Bill plan change

I requested airtel to get the billing plan change for my 3 airtel numbers on 12th Dec. I got no reply and when i contact them @121, i was shocked to know that they did not received my emails, althogh i had the auto reply for all the emails sent. When i talked with the shift lead at the floor, he gave me a ref no[protected] on 19th dec. On 21st dec i received a sms from 121 that my request has been taken and the same will be done in 24 hrs.But till date it has not been done. Kindly look into this as i m alredy fedup with the kind of service from airtel.

AirTel — billing for postpaid card

my airtel plan is airtelgold the No is [protected] on 7th feb,Ihad payin advance 300/Rs reciept no[protected]khar Mumbai Maxxiesndia.customer Account No.is[protected].and the second advance payment on date 25th,Feb,2008,Reciept no1282395 by cash at same place Rs 500/after this I recieved amessage from MBill on 15th Feb 2008 at 6:36 PM that Rs,1399.is due 1 March 2008.during this month till 25th Feb,not yet recieved the Bill.I call to airtel service provider he say me that your Bill has been despatched and I Querry about ny Balance but he say me that my Balance is 1399 Rs and also say that we will check and inform me on date 4th of march,the Request Refrence No.is 1569920.so sir how it possible that my due date is 1st march so please help me before disconnect my phone ..thankingyou

Dear Sir,
Myself Mr.Jaykumar Chauhan was using Airtel Post card from 4 years.From last year November 2007, the mobile started showing error " Sim Card Registration Failed".The same was being conveyed to Airtel Helpline no. 121, but the response & service was so poor, that no one solved my problem.Everytime a false commitment was being given mobile will start working in next 08 hours.Also it was being informed to Airtel office at Vega Centre, Tilak Road & it was accepted that i should not pay the bill, though i am not using it & was asked to call after 3-4 days, but no solution, only false commitment.Though I am not using mobile, why should i pay the bill, but still, i am receiving the bill from Airtel asking to pay the outstanding amount of Rs.773.00.
I kindly request you to look into this matter & solve my problem at the earliest

Airtel Postpaid Card — about bills

i have closed my card 2 months back still the bill is coming .my no was[protected].cmplaint given at nanded customer care. no response
Airtel are the worst people on this planet earth. I am giving them business worth Rs 10000 a month and they send me a legal notice(I did not receive it) on a previous "CLOSED" airtel number saying I have not paid Rs 1212. Funny thing is that I have concrete proof (CHEQUE NUMBER) that number was closed with full payment.

Today I get a call from Court that I will be summoned if I do not pay in 2 hours. I am shocked and I call the lawyer in question. Luckily he helped me out. What happened. I had to pay Rs 1212 again and give him a receipt number immediately otherwise I face consequences.

Either I could have fought with them and waste hours and maybe even had to go to court or just pay them the money again.

i am also having the same kind of problem with my TATA Indicom number. It was to be activated within 24 hours but it has been over 48 hours and my number has not been activated. To add to my woes, the customer care in these places is totally unethical. Once you buy something, they don't even receive your complaint. I want to file a complaint against these people but i am unsure of what to do and how to do and whether my problem is valid... In case anybody can help me, plz e-mail me at my mailing address. Airtel Postpaid Card — Non availability of postpaid service even post clearance of all bills & no dues pending since last 10 days

Dear Sir,

I would like to submit my Consumer Complaint regarding my Airtel Postpaid Mob No. [protected].

The bills for this mobile number are all cleared and no current dues are pending, inspite of all such payments neither of the airtel executives are willing to start my service. My repeated attempts to get in touch with Customer care with respect to the same have proved futile and is being paid no heed.

Moreover, the constant unavailability of customer care executive is a big hindrance for any customer.

Requesting you to kindly consider my complaint and do let me know the consumer / customer complaint number for the same.

Airtel Postpaid Card — Sending me unnecessary bill

This is Ajit Shinde, from mumbai.Last year from one of Airtel Executive i took one airtel postpaid card.That time he gave me that card, giving wrong information about the plan.but after i confirmed with the helpline, i understood there is no such a plan.So i called up in helpline & told don't issue my card & dont activate my card.But still they activate my card & without sending any Sim card they send us me every month bill.Again i called up in helpline & repeat full story, i got replied like, your service will deactivated within 24 hrs & all.But after one year they send me 2000/bill with court notice.So any one please help me what should i do now.

Airtel — non avaliabilty of service

dear sir,

i a.krishna murthy is customer of airtel from past 5 years with my mobile number [protected] and i also had the add on connection to my number [protected].

as i made an coversation with the 121 customer care regarding the migration of my add on number, customer care people suggest me to visit the nearest airtel showroom at anantapur, i did the same as per the instructions given by your people. but when i visted the show room, the show room people of anantapur are not intrested to give service for migration of my number to prepaid and asking me to vist the show room at 1 week by telling me irresponsible reasons to me.

iam very much dissopinted with the service provided to me by your airtel dealer at anantapur and if i didnt get the proper service regarding this issue, i need to approach the consumer fourm .

i have spent my valuable time to visit the nearest show room and my work is not been done and beyond that i need to pay the montlhy rent for my number ie. [protected] for the delay of service days .

hence i request you to kindly look in to the matter to resolve my issue and do the needful.

Airtel — Constantly changes offers without informing consumers

Airtel, now a days, constantly changes offers without informing consumers as well as various outlets that recharges Airtel coupons. Recent example is that they had ap lan of recharging 59 Rs, where you get 450 Rs Night Calling Airtel-Airtel Balance. Now they have changed it to STD Balance of Rs 110. Neither the Airtel outlets know this change nor most of the consumers who are using it. Airtel is now cheating the consumers who just go by their big advertisements.

Airtel Mobile — Non Availability of plans displayed on website

I am the existing customer of Airtel Mobile, Mumbai and when I want to migrate to other tariff existing plans with optional elements of various packages for STD and SMS, as displayed on the Airtel website, I am being told that the requested plans and optional elements as prominently displayed on Airtel website are not available !!! Is the existing customer being taken for a ride?

i'm tejas ramakant shinde from mumbai.i'm using airtel no [protected]. i had taken this number a 1 1/2 year ago.it was a friendz sim card.i was happy with the service but now in the last two months i have been charged to add my 5 friends no. amount of 5Rs each which earlier i can edit it free."THE AIRTEL NOW IN LAST TWO MONTH HAS INTRODUCED THE SCHEME OF SPECIAL FIVE.I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT BUT THIS SCHEME IS VERY SIMILAR TO THAT OF FRIENDZ SCHEME.SO THEY PURPOSELY WITHOUT INFORMING THE USER THEY CHANGED MY PLAN TO THIS NEW SCHEME." i called the costumer care and i talked with higher authority with this fraud done by them.if the want they can change the plan of mine according to their will?.hw is this?.now they are charging me 5 Rs. after their will they will charge 10Rs.when i took the card did i know that they can charge me for editing the numbers in future which is to be free !.i had not e'charaged wrong or i didn't call those costumer care and asked them to change my plan.for example i bought the lifetime card and i didn't recharged for 3/4 months they can delete the number according to their own will? which can be dissconnected after the 6s months. i should ged the solution for this.

Airtel Postpaid Card — Do not get the activation of the cards

Dear Sir,
As I have purchase the post paid card comes under the special category Government Plan till about 10 days.
I have asked for my address proof and salary sleep which I have already submitted to the relevent office.
I was assured that both the cards will be activated till 2nd December at 1.00 p.m. but till it is about 6.00 p.m. there is no progress.
Both incoming calls and outgoing calls are out of the service.

Airtel Postpaid — Bogus charges

I was abroad and roaming in the US for 2 weeks last month. Upon my return, on my bill was noted 25 outgoing SMS during the roaming period, all to[protected], the Kolkata SMS center, sometimes 3 per day, totaling Rs 390.99. However, not once did I place an outgoing SMS call while I was abroad. What is going on?
