[Resolved]  Airtel - Postpaid Connection — Rate Plan Screw ups

I work for a corporate in bangalore.One Airtel Executive came to my office and offered me corporate connection.After i took the connection and seeing the bill for that month i realized it was too much for the rate plan he promised me and called back Airtel customer care to check if it is a corporate connection.To my shock i realized it is an individual connection and i was charged more than double what i was promised.And airtel had no clue who was the agent who made the connection.This happened two months ago.From that day i fighting to change my connection to corporate and not able to do it till date.i have made atleast 30 calls to Airtel on the same.They asked me to go to any airtel outlet with documents necessary for changing the connection to corporate.i went to the outlet in gandhibazar and was sent back saying they dont handle corporate connections.i called back customer care and asked me go to koromangala outlet this time.i again went to koromangala outlet 15 days and submitted all documents and the executive said it will be reflected in my next bill cycle.when i called again in my next bill cycle they say there is no record in the system which says i requested a rate plan change.i have already paid 3 months bill while all this happened paying more than double everytime.i have suffered too much of frustration,agony and lost lots of money.i request you to take this very seriously as they are trying cheat people by giving some promises and then make to lose money.

Airtel/postpaid/ — duped/false rateplan

I am an airtelcustomer since couple of years ( primary # [protected], add on # [protected])and this is not the first issue i am facinG related false promises related to billing. i was being appraoched to go for an add on number since past few months, and finally i agreed to go for one, (199 rate plan) and the representative promised(600 MINUTES FREE TO ANY MOBILE PER MONTH, 200 SMS FREE PER MONTH, NO HIDDEN COST OTHER THAN Rs-199, BUT I WAS DUPED AND I KNEW IT ONLY WHEN I HAD TO PAY THE FIRST MONTHS BILL. i WAS CHARGED Rs-249 minimun+free talktime is only for airtel Numbers+no free sms, and the free talktime is 450 mints but not 600 and it sounded so funny because my bill for primary Number never crossed Rs-280 right from the first bill but my add on no"s bill was above Rs400- but still i paid my first bill and complained about this to customercare centre and requested to change my rateplan to Rs249 minimum where i will pay only after crossing 450 minutes and for landline and special nos and special sms.but shockingly again the next bill for primary Number was crossing Rs400 which is completely bull because the number is used by my wife who often used the cell only to recieve my call. So let me make it clear to anybody who is the head for billing department. that I am not going to pay even single rupee for any of my Numbers and ready to defend any friction related to this and ready to fight back verbally or physically AND I MEAN IT TO ANY RECOVERY ASSOCIATES ALSO
i want to loyest corporate connections in airtel
i am an airtel customer since few days.i am facing some problem that i can't open some site (like orkut, yahoo messenger etc.)and one of your representative named:ANUPAM MISHRA #[protected] is very rude in behave to me.i request to him to solve out my this concern but he always be refuse to come and make lots of excuses.i am just fed up of this guy and plz help me out from this problem.for that i am very thankful to you. i am one of your Airtel broadband new customer my no. is #[protected] and this no. is in the name of Mr. AMIT KUMAR.i want to lodge a complaint against this guy so plz help me out.

This is not new, AIRTEL people distributing new rate plans paper today "sep'08" at my office, seeing the exciting rate plans i took the paper along with required document to airtel outlet and i was surprised it was all false rate plan given to everyone, wondering airtel person said this could be typo mistake on the broacher and believe me it was being distributed among 5000 people.
THEY DIDN't EVEN BOTHER TO CONFIRM WHO IS PROVIDING THE RATE PLAN ON AIRTEL NAME.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Clubbed Bali

I am using Airtel postpaid connection. I have taken this as a corporate connection (self Paid) in July 2008. At time of connection, some other person's Airtel number (from American Express Corporate Connection) linked with my Airtel account. I have made complaints several timess till now. I am getting bill for the usage of other number also. Till now nothing has been resolved. From the time I have taken this connection, I haven't received single bill. Now my outgoing calls also have been barred and now Airtel people are saying for deposit the bill otherwise they won't activate my services again.
This kind of problems happens with airtel there customer care executive mis behave with you and if they dont want to answer the call they hung up...I too had a really bad experience with airtel ppl
I had opted for a rate plan Airtel 449 Talkathon. As i chat a lot I took this. Accouring to the rate plan Airtel to Airtel 900 mins free, other GSM 300 Mins free. But still i get a bill more than 1500. When i asked to change the rate plan to lesser rental. I got an answer as this rate plan cannot be changed at all.. Now i am paying for the mistake i made

I live in india and abroad with my children and pretty much beyound age 60.Not a kid to not understand the need and requirements.I have found the corriodars of airtel is always full.The only reason i find is there is not a mature person /a person earmarked for the customer guidence and care and advice and to listen to their complaint/request.

All working on the front tables are just teens and may be with with minimal qualification and with only working knowledge to make bill for the cash you pay and just the mechaical knowledge of entering what ever is needed to complete the entries in the PC Machine.with out knowledge and adeqate trainning skills to meet and answer AND MULTI needs of the Customers which are bound to be different for each customer.

It definitely Shows the potential of growing India, I have no issues on this.What is more needed is ONE OR TWO exclusive Senior person earmarked for handling the New Connections/Transfer /Cancellation and to meet the various needs of each individual customer which is hard to figure out and ellobarate here.All i mean is every customers needs are different.

All I have to say finally is i am not happy to comment here as i am one of the person who just went only 3 times on the same day to get my connection changed from post paid to pre paid .Lucky I was, my home was just 2 KM or less.The lesson learnt is next time you go for any Connection choose to see your home is close enough to any dealer.You know him atleast.Next all corporatr offers must be stamped and sigined by your Admin/HRO office to justify you did the right thing and stand behind you and you dont have to run behind the sales man who came with the offer who works for himself and the company that employed him on commission basis.

Lastly, Good bye to all .Do more home work to avoid frustration later and running arround that are meaning less. One More thing, Leave these jobs totally to others, so that you can at least take out your heat and frustrations on him or her and blame them to your hearts content.To do this you have to be a corporate mini head yourself.

Yes. please close the connection with airtel, as in india a lot of service provider with better rate plan and good signal
