[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid Mobile — Extra charges and no resolution

Airtel charged extra for internet usage for my mobile no. [protected] and failed to resolve the issue despite several attempts via email, phone call to customer care and airtel relationship centre. Instead of solving the issue, there was extra charges charged in 3 consecutive bills and even they barred incoming and outgoing calls on my postpaid no. which i was using for official purpose. The extra charges was regarding internet usage on 3 G where they charged more than actual usage. I sent the 3G use sms on mail to show tht usage was less than shown in bill but it was not rectified. In next bill they charged me extra again despite me taking Rs. 80 top up of 3G. Now they are threatening me of legal action.

Airtel Postpaid Mobile — Undue harrassment to everyone

This number [protected] was supposed to be cancelled one month back as per my request to Airtel but it was never done. I have been hearing stories from the customer service saying that it would be done within 7 days which never happened. No one told me that the bill is due on this number which i would have paid as i have always done for the past 3 years. Upon that some people from airtel start calling numbers from the bill and disturb my friends for the bill amount. My question is why was the request not processed as promised? Why would airtel call people from the bill and unnecessarily Harass them? I need an explanation to this and need the number to be cancelled ASAP.
this seems to be a common practice of these mobile service providers. I am facing similar issues with my old number

AirTel — There is no resolution for complaints

Hi,

I am using Airtel postpaid corporate connection ([protected]). I am not able to send SMS to one particular number. Regarding this I spoke to airtel customercare and registered complaint 31339474. and after but I didnot get any relief. After that I spoke to customer care so many times every time they say "Sir dont worry it will be resolved with in 24 hours". When I am asking for any update they say "Out team tried to reach you they called to to discuss the issue but you didnt pick the call". But the fact is I did not receive any call. I didnt see any incoming or missed from airtel. They are liyng openly whenever I call them. I am completly pissed of with the provider. I am not sure what does it mean when they say "Sir!! just 24 hrs, your issue will be resolved".

I am using Airtel postpaid corporate connection ([protected]). Mycredit limit is Rs9000 however airtel sent me a sms saying that i have exceeded my credit limit usage ammount is Rs49605 with out prior notification. Regarding this I spoke to airtel customercare and registered complaint F[protected]. and after but I didnot get any relief. When I am asking for any update they say "Out team tried to reach you they called to to discuss the issue but you didnt pick the call". But the fact is I did not receive any call. I am not sure what does it mean when they say "Sir!! system upgrading, your issue will be resolved but make the payment of RS 45000 immediately ".

Airtel Mobile — extra charges

i am Ravi Shankar Keshari from lucknow, UP. my mobile no. is [protected]. i have received a message from Airtel on 15 March 2010 that " badhai ho, ab aap sabhi network per call kar sakte hai 50 paise per minute ki der se local/STD wo bhi bina kisi atirikt sulk ke".but airtel chares 60 paise per min on STD call. kindly resolve the problem and return my money.

There is problem with your system since i not asked for any service from you,

there is message to me that i register for message for which i have to pay 1 rs per day

Please do not play your unwanted tricks to your customer as they want to stay with you, as i was with airtel from last 8years

But now you people not care about us no calls are recieved by you your service galary are gone from cities there is network problem your towers are removed from location so this lots of problem with you.

kindly register my complaint and do necessary action otherwise i will go to grahak seva kendra & complaint about your sevices.

Why you people are not respond to customer

AirTel — Airtel customer support harrassment

Dear Sir,
I recently converted my postpaid ([protected]) to prepaid and submitted all the required document.The same converted to prepaid .now they are asking for document again and otherwise they will disconnect all outgoing connections.
They send messages to send the document.
before same thing happened to my mother and she submitted document twice.when we ask they guve irresponsible answers.they harassed us by calling to my mother number.
The customer support Address is near :Airtel customer support,kamakya. bsk 3rd stage,bangalore-560085
When we visit they simply tell us to submit the document again and again and they behave very arrogant.
We wrote the same problem to "[protected]@Airtel.in<[protected]@Airtel.in>" but we just system generated mail but no action has been taken in this regard.
So please help us how to fight against this harassment when we provide everything.
Even though we shout against them, there is no use. Same this happened to many of my friends and to my family.

AirTel — Extra charge for no reason

My Name is Ashiesh aryan, airtel mobile service user. I've been using airtel services for almost more than 8 years now. I'm in Delhi & I use my airtel network for most of my business purposes & official calls.
But I'm afraid to recharge my prepaid card for more than Rs. 50, because whenever I recharge, mu balance is deducted for one or the other services, though I never activate any service apart from incoming & outgoing.
I've called the Customer Care a number of times, but THE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE OF AIRTEL IS PATHETIC, ESPECIALLY THAT OF DELHI. I'm frustrated the kind of representative they hire. Let alone English language, they dont even know correct hindi. Anju, Vaibhav & their supervisor are the one whom I had a word with.
Airtel has refunded my money earlier, but I cant keep them calling to refund my money & explain them the whole stuff again n again. Its is a chargable call to the Airtel CC, but ITS NOT WORTH AT ALL.

I'm fed up with the CC service of Airtel.
Will there be any use of writing this complaint ??

Airtel — more call charge

my mob no is [protected] & i recently transfered service from bsnl to airtel under mnp.my probem is that company is charging more amount insted of 1ps/per sec.& after 62rs sms pack they are charging rs 1/sms. lots of time i complaind to customer care but nothing happend.

AirTel — Charging Extra Charge

I have actived the Gprs Plan of 98 per month for which I was suppose to get 2gb free download for number [protected]. I have activated this service on 7th of Nov 2010 and I did not deactivated it.By there end it was deactivated and I did't know and now when I used it in Feb they say that it was not activated and they charge me 2300 rs for GPRS usage. I called them continuesly but no respont came from them.

Please I request to see over it.

Airtel — take more call charges than the offered mobile charge

Airtel SIM with pulse in seconds. means 1 second's talktime will be charged for 1 paisa. But it cuts much more money all time. suppose i make a call for 60 seconds it will cut 85 paisa. Really irritated with this

Airtel Postpaid Mobile — Closure of Connection Not Properly Handled by Airtel

I have canceled my connection on Feb 26'th, 2011 (Service Request No:[protected]
by paying full outstanding dues. In fact I have called the customer service to
block my SIM card on Feb 25'th, 2011 itself. I was told by the local airtel
store rep that I will get one final bill which will have rental charged until
Feb 26'th, 2011.

On March I received a bill will full charges Mar 4'th, 2011. I wrote an email
to [protected]@airtel.in for which they said they will enquire why the connection was
not called. After that there was no response and again on Apr 4'th, 2011 I
received one more bill for another set of charges.

I again wrote to 121 and I got a response that my mobile is cancelled on April
14'th, 2011 and also there are outgoing calls after until which the rental was
charged.

First of all, when I blocked my SIM on Feb 25'th, 2011 how can there be any
outgoing calls? After that I cancelled my connection on Feb 26'th, 2011
(Service Request No:[protected] for which I guess there was a glitch in Airtel
which failed to cancel my connection.

There is no proper response from Customer Service or Nodal Office detailing what happened to
the Service Request for cancellation. All I am liable is for rental charges
until Feb 26'th, 2011. Now I am getting a Legal Notice from Vijay Associates to pay the balance of 1047 which is more than what I am supposed to pay.

In my past communication I have asked several times on what happened to the status of SR No. 36065472 for which there is no proper response. I am getting improper responses like I continued to use the line, I have agreed to continue etc.,
i have replied to your email [protected]@in.airtel.com with my contact number details. Please let me know if you havent received it yet
so will I be getting a letter or email on how much I owe ? When you mean resolved, may I know what is the resolution?

I am a regular travel between Taraori to karnal and pay only 10 rupees but today this bus cont.. charges the 12 rupees when I question the con.. then he misbehavior and rpl the charges is 12 rupees. Pls check this matter and action against con... and pls rpl with in five days in my email id.
