[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — not able to send sms

dear sir,
my airtel prepaid no is [protected]. i have not been able to send sms from this no for the past three months.however i am able 2 receive sms.i hav tried to contact ur customer service but to no avail. may i request you to please look into this matter.

I dont have any attitude...just i want my problem to get solve...around 150 important members are having this number...every now and then i cant purchase new numbers because of service providers problems..please do the needul and maintaing the standards of a reputed firm.one more thing every customer care numbers either it is [protected] or 121 both of them mostly not give options to talk with the executives and then too if the options come after pressing 9 a tape plays that kidly dial 123 and get info about your balance...what the hell is this!!! if the executives dont want to assist their customers why this service is being provided!!!
one cant expect such things from a company like AIRTEL

I am employed with Everest Industries Limited having office at Mumbai. In or about Feb 2006, your marketing representative visited my Thane office and gave demo for the usage features of your card. While I was inquiring about the features of your card, your marketing representative obtained my signatures on some forms and obtained some documents from me for purpose of noting my name as “interested member” for filling inquiry form. Subsequently your Bank Credit Card bearing No[protected] was posted to me at my office address.

I say that without my using your card, your Bank sent me statement for Rs.210/-.approximately. I say that I immediately called your customer care number putting forth my grievance and called upon them to cancel my card and terminate services with immediate effect. I also called upon them to sent me letter for “No claim”, to which they showed their inability and stated that same is granted only in case where there is any dispute above Rs.1000/-, however they assured me that card is cancelled and services are terminated. I say that subsequent thereof, I have not received any statement from your bank till date.

I say that from last about 15 days, I am receiving sms from your bank for payment of Rs.4570/- towards aforesaid credit card pending bills. I had never imagine of such conduct from Big Banking Corporation like yours. I say that without usage of your services, how can I be made and forced to pay charges levied by you. I put forth my grievances with your customer care at Ram Maruti Rd branch, Thane who showed their inability to locate my bills and pending dues. They were also unable to provide me any Bank statement though I was ready and willing to bear the cost for same. I say that I also spoke to Mr.66667070 of your Bank collection centre at Mumbai,[protected] who responded to me rudely as if I am bring defaulter / criminal. I say that thereafter I spoke to your Delhi Recovery Cell at Telephone No[protected]/45023968 with Mr.Basant, who was also not able to resolve to my problem or provide me statisfactory reply.

I called[protected]/67116251/67116115 no one response

The said act of your to grab heavy & exorbitant amount from me for no fault of mine speaks of your volumes and attitudes to procure money by adhering to illegal means & making trap for the innocent customers like me.

I am therefore now constrained to put forth my grievance in writing for necessary action and resolution of my grievance. Request you please look into this matter and advise what should be my next step.

Airtel Mobile — not receiving sms

i am not recieving sms from bsnl mobiles in bhopal....it is forcing me to unneccesarily
talk where a sms can do the work....my mobile no is [protected]........

AirTel — non sending of sms

i converted my post plan to prepaid plan on 18/9/9, sending of sms is not working in this plan, i have checked the mobile, i have lodged three complaints ref no.[protected] talked with Sh Rajesh Srivastava, next complain no. 586476 talked with Ms Puja, next complaint lodged on 28/9/9 ref no. 666400 talked with Mr. Ravinder, till date no solution is found.

AirTel — cannot solve my problem in last 15 days

sir i have a airtel prepaid connection and i suffaring a problem in last 15 days, every day i call to custmer care call center and give him the detail of my problem. he said gime us 24 hours we will sulve it, but he doesn't work in my problem, the same problem is continue in second day, and it's continuing in last 15 days.. my problem is....i purchase a sim which have a offer of 10 paice per minute with one number and it's validity is 23.07.2010 but he deactivated my number in 21.9.2009 so i register my complain through customer care call center number that is not the enough after that i try to activate special 5 to the same number but that offer is not activated my number according my first problem, so what can i do..... pls help me
i am a airtel prepaid user from last 4yrs.. i have not been dissapointed by service of airtel this long.
but recently few problems have started to crop up ie:
1) bad networ[ yes this is very serious issue in my area because most of the time call get disconnected first the problem was managable but now it has became worse]
3) very dissappointing feedback from the customer care executives.( customer care executives talk rubbish and lack knowledge on persisting problems .they speak like robots programmed to say only those things which they are taught. )
4) know daily rental is charged for the govt customers which is not right specialy to those who has calling rates of 50ps local & 25ps airtel, most of the cellular companies are offering attractive call rates in this period
i guess something must be done on this regard as airtel is big name ..and lot fo customres rely on it.
The whole reputation of the company has gone down due to above stated problems..and top mostly Airtel should think that they are not the only players in the market ..people can change their mind .
i felt the same thing as ur othr customers are facing thats why i had used her complain

AirTel — Cannot send SMS for last 3-4 months

I can not send SMS from my airtel postpaid no. [protected]. The problem originated 3-4 months back when I migrated from prepaid to postpaid. I am complaining since then for several times, but no result. I contacted customer service centres also, but even they could not solve my problem. The respective complaint no.s are 28244358, 28165092, 28054840, 28043428, 28032674, 28018589, 27954788, 27933162, Please arrange to solve my problem and compensate me for my loss arising out of the bad service.

Airtel Mobile Service — Network problem and customer service number problem

I have been facing continuous problemw with Airtel for the last few months. Initially the issue was only of ling being dropped repeatedly, but now nobody could contact me as the response they get is "phone is switched off". Even though i stand close to the caller and have my phone in my hand (switched on) the caller got the same message. Son now nobody can contact me and only I have to call them if i need to contact them (looks like a novel way of making money on my account).
Even though after many complaints regarding the call getting disconnected and now the response of "switched off" issue there in no respite. I have faithfully been paying my bills and hoping to see things change, but i've now lost my faith. Many of my close friends had already warned me about poor airtel services and customer services I still wanted to continue with Airtel. But after so long now I feel cheated.

The sad part is not only the network part, but also the customer service number that they have provided. It's no less than a advertising radio where I have to listen to so many of their ad's regarding new products and so and so. I can't reach the CSR on many occations and on many other ocassions my call is disconnected by the CSR. To quote one Incident where I was disconnected is on 11th Nov 2009 at 9:33 am Mr. Nyaneshwar disconnected the line in exactly 5 seconds.

I am a very dissatisfied customer and would want to know if there is any way someone could help me (other than telling me to just discontinue with Airtel). That would be so easy, but how would I get compensated for all those months I have been bearing with them??????

Airtel Prepaid — NOT RESPOND

Dear Sir

I am using Airtel Prepaid connection, daily they deduct 30 paise for browsing the airtel Live(with out using) or whenever i switch the mobile after switch on the mobile its deduct again 30 paise nearly 10-15 tome i contacted to call center.But there is no use for disconnect the Airtel Live service it is very head ache to me
i have 2 airtel sim .
I am not able send sms through both sim.
but i can send sms using vodafone, idea or any other service provider other than airtel.
when i called to customer care, then they told me that problem is in mobile. :)
i am not that much fool, i know if i can send sms through vodafone and idea sim then problem is in service and not in mobile, i know mobile hardware technoloy very well.
Addition to this when i was using number [protected] which i was purchased it in sangli, when i moved to mumbai it stops working, i sevral time called to 121 but they were not able give answer.
i tired of this issue then i have purchased now another sim but the SMS problem is still there.
I am not able to understand what type service airtel is giving.
Better it will be that showing Shahrukh Khan in Ad., they first provide minimum service to customer without any failure.
I am facing this problem from last 1 year.

Airtel — Cannot send msg to new serious obile number

Am Prabhu. Am in Bangalore I use airtel and Idea(spice) SIM. my problem is i'm not able to send msg to new serious number (ie +91 80561 XXXXX). This new serious is from AIRTEL, Chennai. I spoke to customer care of both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. I had no good response. Executive in Karnataka care is teasing me using the same slang which I use.

That number is able to msg me and able to receive from other number. Msg is not received from STD mobile number. Careless people for customer. I wonder what people in testing dept where doing without noticing the error.

Airtel Prepaid — Charging for non use

I have an Airtel Prepaid mobile in Palakkad, Kerala. This morning December 14 at 4.30 I get an SMS saying that Rs. 30 has been deducted from my subscription for my 'latest SMS'. I have not sent an SMS since one week. I want to know what SMS I have sent for Rs. 30/- in the early morning. Also when I wanted to unsubscribe a hello tune the recorded voice says that all my contact details will be deleted if I unsubscribe the hello tune. What is this kind of blackmail being done to prepaid subscribers of Airtel?
Please look into this as soon as possible.
Repeated deduction of money:
I have an Airtel Prepaid mobile in Rihandnagar, Bijpur, UP having number [protected]. since one week, unnecessary latest news update is coming without subscribing it. and deducting cetain amount of money. few months ago same incident was happened. that time latest cricket schedule & cricket score were coming.and dedudction of certain amount was taking place. after talking with customer care both were inhibited. now unnecessary latest news update is coming. we are realy getting fade up due to this type of repeated nuisence. you are requested to take care of it and immediately unsubscribe this latest news update. other wise i may be forced to go to the consumer forum for this repeated nuiscence.

Airtel — Not able to send or receive SMS

My name is Jobin John and my number is [protected] I am using this number since last 6 years and i am one of the valued customer,. Since i am using airtel service from 6 years i never had any complaints about the services. But now a days its Just Waste and i dont understand that why i am not getting any correct resolution for my Problem,.
Since from last one month I am not able to send and receive msg. and i have spoken with many representative from airtel customer care and of no use..... This is making me to change my service provider or else i need to inform is to TRAI

AirTel — std sms

today on 31.dec.2009 I have been charged Rs 1:50 per std sms inspite of being taken std sms pack of Rs 28.....why is this so??31 december is not gazetted holiday
