[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid Services — unnecessary promotion messages and activation charges on unsubscribe airtel promotions

Unwanted subscription to 54321 airtel services which deducts Rs. 10 everytime
I have been receiving unwanted services like football updates, astrology, friendschat etc from 54321 which deducts Rs. 10 everytime from my prepaid balance. I have never registered to these services. After I request for deactivation , it again subscribes to these services after few days and deducts Rs. 10 from my balance. I request you to please urgently look into this issue.

my request reference no. is cppwc[protected].dated 09/01/11.

actually the message says AD-54321 - autosubscrition service from airtel renewed and have been charged with Rs.10/-

another service 555630 for autoservice says it will be renewed in 3 days with arenewal charges of Rs.10/10 days. to stop service dial *321*44# and go to my active alerts.

i have lodged complaint with airtel twice and still i have not got rid of such unwanted and unwarrented subscription.

Airtel — deduction of prepaid balance without notice

i gaurav kashyap am prepaid subscriber of airtel. my pre paid number is [protected]. I was charged Rs 30 without any notice and was subscribed to some "subwapactress30 subscription. On informing the office the service was deactivated but money was not returned.

MATTER IS THAT EVERY TIME I CALL TO ANY OTHER OR SAME SERVICE PROVIDER CONNECTIONS NUMBERS I HEAR A MSG THAT "COPY THAT HELLO TUNE BY PRESSING * OR 9". SIR I AM REGISTERED IN DND SERVICE. AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT PROMOTIONAL MESSAGE.
NOT ONLY THIS WHEN ANY OTHER PERSON CALLS ON MY NUMBERS HE ALSO HEARS SAME PROMOTIONAL MASSAGE . I HAVE SELECTED A SONG AS MY CALLER TUNE NOT THIS YOUR PROMOTIONAL MASSAGE AND YOU GUYS R USING MY NUMBER FOR YOUR PRMOTIONS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION
SHOULD I COMPLAIN ABOUT IT AT ANY CONSUMER COURT OR AIRTEL WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

Airtel Prepaid Services — Unsolicated extension of service

My mobile no is [protected] - Airtel prepaid service.
Airtel customer care KOLKATA have extended a service called Saibaba unsolicatedily i,e without being asked for and deducted an amount of Rs 30.00. An organisation of such high repute it is surprising Airtel is indulging such fraud activities.Please unsubscribe the service immediately and refund the amount so deducted.
my pre paid airtel [protected]. this has recently stopped showing balance and validity under option two of request call at*121#.onchecking i find same problem in other two noumbers we have in our family. it returns message" done" with out any replyH as airtel stopped this info.Further all my three prepaid service nos deducted money for services never requested by us. cancellaton of these every time cost another rs 3.thus adding salt to injury. for example cricket message is a unsolicited service in my no[protected].Despite several futile attempts to block it incurring rs 3 every time.presently we have stopped topping it and have retained it for receving calls for which we have previously given this no.. Will airtel stop abuse of this service This is only an example.I have experianced uncalled for charge for games whichcost 50s and hundreds.. we are seiously considering number portability to others if this fleecing does not stop.hope we get a soultion/explanation for this problem.

Airtel Prepaid Card — Deduction of SMS charges

I had recharge with SMS pack of 95 on 11.02.11 which expires on 10.03.11
in which i was eligible to send 500 SMS daily but on 28.02.11 i had send only 25 SMS and all my bal Rs. 79 was deducted from my account.
I am a customer of Airtel Prepaid services since 3-4 yrs now...

However, from the last one year i'm getting network coverage problems, due to which i may have lost my important calls...it was also never the case that i have not validated mobile validity services for a single month...I am very much disappointed that even after paying money to the company they are not able to provide the services effectively.

For the above i have communicated with their Customer Services desk. The representatives just assured me with the false solutions which were never worked. I lodged my complaints with them in the month of March 2008 but of no use. Today i.e. on 9th July i'd called them for the same issue but the story was not different than above.

Please help me on this issues as I'm not at all satisfied with the services provided by the Airtel Prepaid Servicces...

AirTel — charges daily

My mob no [protected], it is predpaid, daily re 1 is deducted every day,this is happened in the month of April 11 , however this month i checked the balance every day and found Rs 2 or Rs 3 being deducted without any call beingmade. i called the care sercie, i was informed of some deduction of re1 per day. I was told it would be rectified.
i hope so , what of about refund of April 2011 already deductd

Airtel Prepaid — Daily charges without using service

I have been using an Airtel prepaid connection for the past few years. Recently i noticed that that whenever i recharge my account, Airtel keeps on deducting Re.1 each day from my balance. I checked whether any service was active and found that i havent subscribed to aby of the services. I called the Customer care and they too told me that I have not subscribed any extra services. They kept on insisting that no deduction has been made. I asked the executive to pass the complaint to someone actually working with Airtel. The customer care executive told me to wait online. Despite waiting for about 15 mins on the call, no one picked the call. The deduction has been going on for the past 3-4 months and these days I do not recharge my number since once the balance is above Re.1, they are deducting amount.
Where can I get the complaint registered?

I have been also facing the same problem for last few months. When I asked the customer care, they said there are no services activated on my phone. Then what are these deductions for ??? ... I really don't understand AIRTEL policy to fool around with people.

Airtel — Unsubscribe PoojaG blogs service message charges

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I would like to draw your kind attention to the following regarding my airtel prepaid connection - [protected]:

A message from 52000 comes every ten days that Rs.10 is charged from my connection for subscription of PoojaG blogs service message. I have never subscribed to any of these messages.

These kind o[censored]nauthorised charges are repeatedly born by us with no choice.

Please look into the matter & resolve at the earliest. Else we have to approach for consumer forum.

DEAR SIR, I BEAR AN AIRTEL PRE PAID SIM CELL NO [protected] SINCE FOUR OR FIVE YEARS . THEIR DEDUCTIONS IN ACCOUNT ARE UNEVEN & ERRATIC . IN LAST TWO MONTHS I HAVE BEEN BADLY&DECEIVED&CHEATED BY THEM FOR TWICE OR THRICE . ON MAKING COMPLAINT THEIR ATTITUDE &REPLIES ARE NOT AT ALL SATISFACTORY ARE MAINTAINING CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS FOR  EYEWASH OF GENERAL PUBLIC. ON 29TH JULY 2011 I GOT AN SMS PACK ACTIVATED IN MY CELL. AFTER ACTIVATION I SENT FIFTY FIVE LOCAL SMS FROM MY NUMBER. TO MY SURPRISE INSTEAD OF GETTING DISCOUNTED SMS THEY DEDUCTED FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY RUPEES FROM MY MAIN BALANCE . (SIZE OF MY SMS IS  5 SMS PER SMS SO IT SHOULD BE 275 SMS ) . YESTERDAY I AGAIN NEEDED TO SEND BULK SMS IN A GROUP FOR WHICH I GOT A SMS PACK RECHARGED FOR TWO TIMES IN ORDER TO AVOID REOCCURRENCE OF PREVIOUS INCIDENCE. AGAIN THE SAME THING HAPPENED FROM MY FIRST SMS THEY STARTED DEDUCTING RS 1 FROM MY MAIN BALANCE & FOR ONLY 35 SMS RS 445 WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY MAIN BALANCE (THIS ALSO ONLY GOD KNOWS BY WHICH CALCULATIONS THEY HAVE DONE SO). I REQUESTED TO GIVE ME CALL DETAILS OF LAST SIX MONTHS ON CHARGEABLE BASIS SO THAT I CAN TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH THE RIGHT PLATFORM . THEY ARE LYING AND & AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE CALL DETAILS / LOG DETAILS OF ANY CUSTOMER ON DEMAND MAY BE ON CHARGEABLE BASIS. BUT THEY DO NOT DO SO BECAUSE THEY ARE INVOLVED IN TO MANY SUCH FRAUDS/UNFAIR PRACTICES.  I HAVE BEEN A SINCERE & HIGH END USER OF AIRTEL SINCE LAST FIVE YEARS ( HAVE FIVE CELL AIRTEL CONNECTIONS IN MY FAMILY ) FEEL THAT I NEVER EXPECTED THAT THEY ARE SO UNETHICAL IN THEIR BUSINESS. Airtel Prepaid Services — balance deducted without my notice

I am using airtel connection no.[protected]. recently some service or services are activated without my consent and the balance is deducted. How this has happend ?
I demand explanation and recovery of the balance. I fear of further recharge as the amount may get vanished soon after.

Airtel Prepaid Services — deductions for unsolicited/unveiled service

My mobil No is [protected]. on 17/09/2011 while I was sleeping i receives a call from airtel. when I came to know that it was an unsolicited pesky call I discontinued. soon i received a message that Rs.20/- has been deducted for dialing Firangi music. I do not no what it is and I never heard/availed that service. This is not the first time, previouslt too it happened two, three times. This amounts to unfair/illogical business practice charging customers for unvailed services. I want the Rs.20 to be refunded failing which I will take up the matter with concerned depts and report to media about Airtel's unfair practice which is equalled with highway robbery

Airtel — wrong deduction of charges from prepaid card

my mobile no. is [protected]. i donot use any services without incoming & outgoing phone calls. i have not activated any service since the purchase of sim card. since about one month i am getting the messages like as under on my mobile.
"last call=1.50 inr your bal=114.05 suniye naye purane superhit gane"
i request you to look in the matter and do the needful.
moreover i donot want to availe any services except incoming & outgoing phone calls

i have wrongly recharged booster pack of rs.195 to my no but, i have already recharged the booster pack last month the validity for the booster pack is 3 months but again they are charging this 195 booster pack. i want proper reason for that. in customer service they are not replied well. my complaint no is CANRC[protected]
