[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Unnecessary money deduction and false commitments and bad response by the contact center

I am an user of Airtel Mobile from past 5-6 years. From past few years i have seen the worse support provided by Airtel to its customers. First of all there is unncessary balance deductions and when contacting the contact center the response is very bad and there are frequent disconnections of all. When the executive is not able to transfer the call or resolve the issue all they do is disconnect the call. When i complained about my hellotune not working. All they could do was to inform that we have some technical issue and will get back with the updates. However nobody contacted me with the details. I spoke to the supervisor even he failed to get back to me. I was recieving a continous SMS alert the Hello tune money would be deducted when actually my hello tune was not working from past few week. I have complained regarding unnecessary money deductions many times however nobody pays any heed regarding the same. All i can say is AIRTEL IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER.

Airtel — unexpected charge cutting

i am using power Rs 156, which will expire on 14th June, for that i receive local AtoA free Rs 1500. But 6th June i made a call to local Airtel no, it reduces my money from the original balance.
i called to the customer care immediately, where i got an answer that it will be repaid within 24 hours, but nothing has done yet. previously i face a similar problem but i dont get any help from your end. pl take care of this. thanking you in anticipations.

AirTel — False commitment for money

On 30.06.08 I paid Rs1200/-for [protected] postpaid number inthe morning around10.30a.m.At thetime of paying cash I asked the dealer dteff of Annapurna Enter prises, (Nr S.K.B.R college, Amalapuram-533201 Andhra pradesh)person said that within two hours amount will be uploaded in respectinve a/c.still evening 5.30p.m also they did not upload bill amount, after that I visited dealer hegiving answer very rash & stating that it may take 9 to 12 hours time.Which is a false statement given by them.

Here my intention is they are not responding properly & not giving exact information to the customer eventhough they were misleading by giving false commitments.they are not service motivated only money motivated

Kindly do the needfull.

AIRTEL (PREPAID) — Hello tune issue - Bad response from Airtel

Hi this is Srinivas My Airtel Cell no is [protected]
i am operating this from past two and a half years, i am deeply unhappy
with airtel service, because now a days their network is very bad,

As i was calling to airtel customer care these people is not responce properly, & they are telling the stories that our network is under?upgration, I don't think for upgrating the network they don't need months together, as I am working in Bangalore International Airport the network is very bad?here so that i am loosing lots of my currency.

as Airtel have introduce Song Catcher, I tried to use that facility it was successful, my currency balance also debited, but after just three hours later my hello tune was changed to the tune of airtel, so I called airtel customer care around fifteen times Mr. Mani kanta is not responded properly he just disconnected the line it was happened several times with airtel customer care executive, one of airtel Executive told that my correct hello tune Will be reactivate within 24 HRS but it was not happened so this is too ridiculous from Airtel that we have not getting proper service from airtel end.


I think even & then we pay the amount to all these services, airtel is not reaching to our service

Yesterday onwards i am not able to talk with airtel customer care also because of they blocked it.


I hope you will work it out on all of your services to the best.

Airtel Service — bad response , Worst commitment

I had made a request for deactivation of my Airtel to Airtel all over India re 1/ Plan on 2 Oct and since then i have called your customer service as well as your complain sevice atleat 10 times, every time i am promised that it will be done within 24 hrs but still it has not been deactivated till today . It is really bad on your part that i am beening troubled for so many days for such a small thing . I must say it has been as really bad experince with you people and i have totally lost trust on airtel as you people have not been able to keep up to commitment .

Airtel — irrational deduction of prepaid balance

unaccountable, irrational&unfair management by air tel authorities.
hai iam an airtel customer and due to my optimum usage i have been able to gather aprepaid balance of about 770rupees.last month imissed my deadline of recharge by 15 days. for which my balance was completely brought down to zero.it is totally unfair for a new sim connection
would cost around 100rupees. for my repeated queries i was given awierd answer that any customer who misses his deadline even if has lakhs
of balance would be brought to zero. as consumer do i have any right to fight against this irrational penality i had to pay for air tel,

i am always recharge my mobile with Rs.20 each month. since last three months they are deducting Rs.10 from me without any notice. i contacted their helpline but stii nothing is done. pl do something.

Airtel Prepaid — money deduction

I am an airtel customer. They have made an offer that '250 SMS can be sent if you recharge for Rs94'. Jan 1 is listed in the black out days. But Jan 2 is the day this offer is valid and it worked also for sometime, that is Rs130/- was deducted from my 250 SMS account but in the evening while I checked my balance RS 100 is deducted from my ordinary balance and 100 is increased in the 250 SMS balance. Why this sudden change of deduction without any reason. This is equivalent to cheating the customer for no cause. Then why this 250 SMS offer in recharge of Rs94/- is made if not to be followed. I have an unnecessary loss of 100/- for which company and their nonsense scheme is responsible. Why charging additionally from customer?. Has airtel become so poor and irrational? Then go and beg from the streets you will get money. This is ridiculous

from last 6 months i am suffering uncessary dedction of my balance .when i had miss call or 1 or 2 mintus call they deducted my balance .when i had compalint they didnt give me proper response.31 st december 2008 they dedcted my airtel to airtel balance when i complainted they explain about u had make a call 19th december .many times i had faced this problem. but they never except their mistake and give me explaination about call of another day.when i said [protected] is my husbandnumber and he didnt received any call from my side i give u proof they told me no one can give incomeing call detail then what can i do. i really fed up, and finaaly i want to disconnected my connection.but before do any further step i want to complaint airtel prepaid services.

Airtel Postpaid — POOR COMMITMENTS!

THIS IS REGARDING MY AIRTEL MOBILE CONNECTION [protected]. I HAVE REPEATEDLY INFORMED AIRTEL REGARDING OVERBILLING AND ABOUT MY DISCOUNTS WHICH IS NOT ACCORDING TO THE PLAN. I AM NOT GETTING ANY DISCOUNTS MENTIONED IN THE PLAN. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM FACING PROBLEM WITH ANY POSTPAID CONNECTION WHERE THEY HAVE WRITTEN ALOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT BUT NOT GIVING A SINGLE PERCENT OF IT.

FIRST OF ALL LEMME TELL YOU MY PLAN: I AM HOLDING "Airtel National Calling Plan" WITH Rs.2499 IS A MONTHLY RENTAL, IN WHICH I SUPPOSED TO GET "Free minutes of(4000 Local + 2000 STD + 500 roaming (IC/OG)) and Free 5000 SMS(Local & National)." I HAVE COPIED THE EXACT CONTENT FROM THEIR OWN WEBSITE.

NOW SEE WHAT I PAID:,

ON 04-April 2009, I PAID Rs. 1305,
ON 15 April 2009, I PAID 500.
AGAIN ON THE SAME DAY, 15 April 2009, I PAID MORE i.e. Rs. 400. BECAUSE THEY KEPT MY NUMBER'S SERVICE BARRED AND WHEN I TALKED TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE UNIT, THEY STARTED

COUNTING BUSINESS ETHICS, LIKE THEY THINK I AM A NEWBIE, AND WHEN I ASKED THEM FOR THE RESON, THEY SAID AS THEY DON'T KNOW ME, THEY CAN'T EXCEED MY CREDIT LIMITS. IF THEY DON'T KNOW ME THEN WHY HAVE THEY ISSUED ME THE NUMBER? WHERE ALL THOSE ENQUIRY WENT, WHICH THEY MADE BEFORE ISSUING NEW NUMBER TO ME?

ANYWAYS NOW, IN 11 DAYS I HAVE ALREADY PAID Rs:2100 still I am excluding the ACTIVATION FEE of Rs.500. Again today I got a SMS from Airtel Customer Care that "Your Total usage exceeds of Rs 1243 which exceeds you CREDIT LIMIT of Rs. 1200." and now again to Activate my services I need to PAY Rs 900 which means if I pay this amount then my Bill will reach to Rs.3000 in 20 Days. STILL 10 DAYS ARE

LEFT FOR A MONTH TO BE OVER AND I AM SURE MORE WILL COME.IS IT MY PLAN? OR IT WAS MY MISTAKE TO CHOOSE YOU AS A SERVICE PROVIDER? I WANT AN ANSWER FROM AIRTEL AM I ASKING FOR ANYTHING MORE? I AM ONLY ASKING WHY I AM NOT GETING DISCOUNTS? WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE THAN THE AMOUNT I HAVE BEEN ASIGNED. DON'T YOU THINK WHATEVER HAVE WRITTEN IS NOT TRUE FOR CUSTOMERS? Dear sir made;
1) 45 rs from my account had been deducted for downloading from airtel live (gclub.in ...15 rs x 3times) on 29 8 09..but I had already deactivated this service on 27 08 08 for which i had recieved acknowledgement sms on the same day at at 20:29.so please refund it

2)moeny is deducted form my account for both Airtel live and GPRS simultanously..this is not fair ...

3) i want my to know where my money is deducted form 21 8 09 to 28 8 09 and also the total amount i had recharged on my sim.
my balance is deducted by Rs.10 each month and i dont know the reason for this because i didn't active any services plz sir inform me for this to my number and deactivate those services

Airtel Mobile — Money deducted unnecessarily

my mobile number is [protected] on last tuesday (05.01.10) they debit rs 20 from my account mentioning i had download some movies from mobile . But i din't download any thing from mobile. I call'd the customer care on that time and i inform them but told me it's taken as a complaint and it will rectified in two day they give me an complaint number also. But still i din't get any solution from them till now . Today i'm not able to connect the customer care executive also. It's not a bigger amount for me. But they are not responded.

Airtel Mobile — deducting cash unnecessarily

airtel has been deducting rs.99 from my mobile no. [protected] as subscription towards gamesclub. the message gave a link to contact in case i want to unscribe. i did this plus,emailed the same request. i recd a reply that said-no results. and Rs 99 has been deducted from my prepaid account. i want OUT from this gamesclub and a refund too promptly.
my currency(20 rs) has been deducted unnecessarily on 14/7/10. plz refund it..

Airtel Prepaid — need money back

Dear Sir,
I am having a prepaid connection no-[protected],using my blackberry. I was trying to enable my gprs in my blackberry. so i followed the procedure by sending sms and i got deduct 98 rupees before i got the setting to activate gprs. when i asked the customer care, they say the gprs cant be enable in a blackberry. so now i want my 98 rupees back in my balance.I called upto 198 their complaint number and they say its not possible now and afterward they dont even pickup my call. Need a strong action against this. Its not about 98 rupees its about service to customer.

Airtel — Prepaid Mobile erroneous deduction

I have been using Airtel Prepaid mobile phone[protected] for over 5 years. On 7.1.11 when I was using my mobile phone the line got disconnected with a message "your balance is too low to make a call". When I checked the balance it was Rs.2.32.

On 8.1.11, I went to a recharge shop and recharged my mobile with full talk time of Rs.345/- and I received a confirmation from Airtel for the recharge with Transaction ID No.[protected]. Time of recharge 8.17 pm

As I used to make calls to my daughter in US, I have also put a US booster for Rs.44/- with a validity of 30 days. This will give me the benefit of talking to US @ Re.1/- per minute. I have received confirmation from Airtel for this transaction under Trans. ID No. [protected]. Time of recharge 8.18 pm

I made a call to US around 9.15 pm on 8.1.11 and spoke to my daughter for 20 minutes. When the call was over, I was surprised to see that the call charges was Rs.89.60 whereas it should have been Rs.20 only.

I immediately contacted the shop where I recharged my mobile who in turn asked me to contact Airtel Customer Care on 198. From 9.30 pm onwards I tried, tried, tried and finally I got the Customer Care executive on line and explained that I have been deducted Rs.69.60 in excess. The executive kept me on hold and came back after some time and told me that their record does not show any recharge made on my mobile on 08.01.11 i.e. both Rs.345 as well as Rs.44 booster. I asked the CC executive if my mobile was not recharged then how could my balance got increased from Rs.2.32 to Rs.347.32. The CC executive was repeatedly telling that his data is not updated for the recharge I made on 08.01.11 and the balance is not from the recharge I made. He suggested me to tell the shop where I recharged to contact Airtel on 12144. I retired for bed at around 11.30 pm.

On 09.01.11, I went to the shop and told them what the Airtel Customer Care executive told. The shopkeeper contacted Airtel on 12144 and gave all the details about recharge. The Airtel CC executive took my alternate mobile number and informed me that Rs.69.60 will be added to my balance within 48 hours and also US booster Rs.44 will be activated. Time I spoke to Airtel CC executive was around 4 PM on 09.01.11.

As they gave me 48 hours time, I waited until 8 pm on 11.01.11 and checked my balance in the mobile, which remained Rs.257.72. I called Airtel CC on 198 again and asked them the status. They repeated the same version. I asked them one simple question - if I have not recharged my mobile phone, then how I got the Transaction IDs from Airtel for successful recharge. I also told them that as a customer I need not worry about their internal problem as to whether their data got updated or not. As I got confirmation from Airtel and the Transaction IDs given by Airtel itself is the proof of having recharged my mobile, then why this mistake happened. They have no answer for my question.

In the meantime, I received a call from Airtel Customer Care Mr. Manoj from Mobile No.[protected] on 12.01.11 which I could not attend. I made a call back on 13.01.11 and he informed me that since their records did not get updated for the recharge, he could not do anything. I requested him to put me through to his boss, but he said he will call me back after talking to his boss. So far (11.45 am 14.01.11) he did not call. While speak to him I asked him if I do not get proper justice I will be pushed to go to proper forum to raise the issue.

This episode has put me in great stress and health problem as I am 60 years old. I need justice. If Airtel is not benefitted from my recharge, then who is the beneficiary. I am in dark as to how to proceed further in this matter. Please help.

I am trying to contact 121, for complaining about my airtel bill plan.But response from customer care executive is not at all satisfactory.First of all, it takes lot much of time to connect to airtel executive.If by any chance, customer care executive picks the call, they disconnect it and don't call the user again.
Services of airtel are too bad.I have requested for activating top up plan, so that ISD becomes cheaper.But airtel service providers are not sending the response, whether plan has been activated or not.

AIRTEL (PREPAID) — Worst service with inadequate bill-cutting

Hello,

Recently i am getting worst-service ever by airtel prepaid. I am a customer of airtel for 3 and a half years. They cutted my mobile balance in a emergency situation,with (minus)-10 rupees. Inspite of all this they are not connecting me to the customer care executive. Once i got fortunately connected to them and when they refer it to their senior,he was speakingas much slowly thet i can't say,though i was gatting his voice,he refuses to listen.
