Dear Sir, I would like correct an error by me in my previous complaint........My number was incorrectly entered the correct number is entered at..... 1. My name is Nishant Pawar from Rowriah Jorhat Assam. 2. I have purchased a 3G Airtel prepaid Sim my number is [protected]. 3. I have made an initial recharge of rs.450 which will give me a data limit initially of 1.2 GB and I was told by the vendor that after 48 hours an additional 3.8 GB data will be added making it a total of 5 gb of data usage for my first recharge. 4. I have also made an initial recharge of Rs. 111 for the purpose of 111 min of talk time. 5. I am facing the undermentioned problems with Airtel service. (a) I have not been given an additional 3.8 GB of data for the initial recharge of Rs 450. It has been One week now. (b) I initially used the sim in my 3G Micromax dongle and was able to browse the internet with 3g speeds. However, on the second day when I entered the sim in my Nokia X2-01 Mobile phone which is a 2G handset. Automatically approximately 50 Rupees got deducted from my voice account and 2G GPRS plan was activated automatically without my consent. (c) Subsequently on entering the sim card in My 3G Micromax dongle, I am unable to browse with 3G speeds. I get a miserable 12 Kbps download speed even though the system shows HSPA/UMTS 3G signal available. (d) I have called up on your help line 121, 198, 12134, 12118. No one is ready to help me and they keep telling me to contact the other number. The customer care executives are extremely rude. They have no knowledge about the system involved and cut the call even as the customer is speaking to them with a snide remark 'Airtel mein call karne ke liye dhanyawad'. (e) I did manage to get a request reference number C3GDC[protected] for low internet speed two days back but the problem was not solved. (f) Because lack of any advise from your customer care. I reached a conclusion that possibly my number has got a 2G GPRS plan enabled hence there is a reduction of speed. Hence, I opted of cancellation of my 2G GPRS on 12118 IVR and got a request reference number CMOUD[protected]. 6. Sir I have been made to run from pillar to post for getting 3G speeds on my 3G prepaid connection. However there has still been no assistance from your end. Because of this delay I have also lost a substantial amount of money as I use the internet for Trading purposes. 7. It is requested that (a) My 3G connection speed be restored at the earliest so that i can use it in my 3G dongle. (b) The additional data of 3.8 GB data due to me be alloted at the earliest. (c) The amount of approximately 50 Rupees which was wrongfully deducted by you for activation 2G GPRS on my number without my consent be refunded as soon as possible. 8. I have already been harassed by your customer care executives. (Note: There is no Signal problem or dongle problem as my neighbour's 3G Airtel sim card is working fine in my dongle and giving 3G speeds). 9. Awaiting a favourable response.
