Airtel / Service Centre Blackberry Service — Airtel Service centre is example of worst customer relationship

I am writing this mail in great pain and frustration. Though I have been a satisfied customer of Airtel for the last 7 years but in the last one and a half months the way I have been harassed by Airtel Service centre I must say that I have changed my views about the company.
Bottomline is I spent more then Rs 35, 000/- in buying a blackberry set from Airtel Service Centre and out of 35 days I have not used it for more then 4 days. My new airtel BB no is [protected].
I bought Blackberry 8310 set from Sector 14 customer service centre at Gurgaon.
My number got disconnected on 23rd June on the grounds that I have not submitted my employment proof. Please tell me that I purchased this number on my own so why do they need an employment proof and even if it was required why the hell it was not informed to me when I submitted my other documents when I bought this number from the same place.
On 24th june immediately I submitted my employment proof in the hands of Manager of Service Centre and after that the services got activated but ONLY GSM and no value added services got activated.
From here the service centre people started torturing me. I called up the manager on the daily basis from 24th June to 27th June for restoring my VAservices as I was not able to access my e-mails.
he keep on dodging my by saying that the services are getting activated in next half an hour but it never happened for 5 dsays. Everytime I called up at 121 I got to know that I have not submitted my employment proof whereas I had given the proof in the jands of that manager.
On saturday 28th June at last, I personally visisted the service centre and he restored my services in half an hour and told me now I can use my BB without any issues. I cant understand when it was half an hour job for him then why the hell he hadn't done this when I was following up like anything with him. He also told me that employment proof was not required as its my personal number.
On 30th June once again my VAservices got deactivated and the reason was same that I have not submitted my employment proof. After couple of hours even my SIM got deactivated and the phone stopped working showing no coverage and SIM registration failed.
I again called up this great gentleman and he told me that you come to service centre again and I will change your SIM card. I visisted the service centre on 5th july and his guys told me that he is not in office whereas he was in office only. On my insistence that I want to meet him he came out from his cabin and told me that he is not having any SIM card and I can come on Monday or may be I could go to other service centre. The staff there treated me as if I am demanding unreasonably and told me to come on Monday only.
What the hell these guy thinks that we have all the time in the world to follow up with these guys. I am suffering after buying a handset for 25k, depositing 6k for international roaming and 5k for the first month bill and I have not used my phone at all.

Airtel Blackberry customer support is the worst service available in India.
They have people who do not understand problems and rather aggravate the problem
All those ads in newspapers and on television are a hogwash.

can these cases not be taken to consumer protection courts and defaulting companies be made to pay the damages?

hi i have never seen such a bad service ever i had made a complaint reguarding the recharge of my number i did last month of RS76 on which i was suppose to get 500 sms free which i did not get & i was charged for the msgs i called up & had a word with your agent & senior agent as well but they was no action taken they told me they are goin to refund me the complete money but they did not i kindly request oyu to refund or else i will have to take this matter in the consumer court for fraud case & get it in media.

this is regarding my problem of billing which I m facing for the last 5-6 months. Before that my bill came at right time but for the 5-6 months it is not coming inspite of complaining many a times. I am facing lot of problem bcz at airtel centres the people dont take payment and bil is not coming so I would heartly request u to solved out the matter and provide my suitable reward for facing this harrassment,

You are providing service of internet connection but it gets disturbed during night...and it becomes so embarrasive some time that u can't even login to google mail which is the fastest tool for gtalk...!Kindly do something regarding this so that maximim number of people opt for Airtel rather than some other option as BSNL and so on! Its my pleasure to report u this truth about connection error!

Wait till youneed repairs from Airtel. I sent my ahndset for repairs as the croll wheel was not working and was first asked todeposit Rs. 8, 900/- at SOuth Extension before they could accept my hand set. This is the great indian telecom robbery. They need to be dragged tothe consumer courts and the Competition Commission. A new hand set costs Rs 13, 000.

I am waiting for number portability to come and then I will be off to any one but Airtel. They have become compalcent becuase they have grwon too much too fast. The consumer will show them their place soon if they do not get their act together.

Airtel is a for great [censored] in terms of service. They dont care, for customers.

Even I bought a new phone blackberry curve from Reliance. But, they gave me defected phone. At the time i bought phone, the SIM was not getting in. Blackberry person, somehow inserted it forcefully, but guaranteed that the product is OK. Now when I changed the number and about to insert the SIM. I stood at the same place and finally I was told it would go for repair.

In nutshell, RELIANCE and AIRTEL have grey marke product. Never buy Black berry from them.

I recharge my Airtel number [protected] dated 15 Sep, 2009 for Rs. 501. The validity of this recharge card is for five months and balance is 445. I have got my balance but validity is not update. After five days 21 Sep 2009 I recharge my number for Rs. 200. The validity of this recharge voucher is one month and balance is Rs 103. The balance is shown in my mobile but validity is not updated. So my mobile is not working.

Now I feel you are cheating your costumer in this way. My mother is admitting in hospital. I am very much mentally disturbed to calling you so many times.

There are so many networks company in the market. I will take any other network.
The worst customer service telecom company...I am waiting for number portability to change my service from airtel to some other network provider...
