[Resolved] Airtel — Unnecessarily blocking my number to talk to customer care | |||
I have recharged my airtel number [protected] with Rs 199, Rs 149 one after another from airtel.in and each of them failed but the money was deducted from my bank account. So I had to call customer care. Since my SIM card is from Tamilnadu and I'm in Bangalore, I had to call from an alternate number. First when I called, they assured me that the money will be transferred back to my account. They also asked me to recharge again. So I tried to recharge again using airtel.in. But I got the same result. So I called customer care from my docomo number, and when I opted to talk to customer care executive, an automated kept on saying "please dial *121# to manage your airtel service" but wont connect my call. So I tried from my vodafone sim and I successfully connected my call. But the worst part is my vodafone number is also blocked like my docomo. Then tried with my friends number too. All of them are blocked now. I can assure you that I didn't use any unprofessional words. What is this policy of treating a customer? First the recharge system is not working but money is been deducted and then when customer wants help, it is not being provided. There is no free customer support for roaming numbers and when we spend money and try talking to customer care our number is being blocked! Horrible customer care support. AirTel — Unnecessarily deduction from my Bank Account
- I have opted fro ECS facility to pay the bill from my saving account.- Had taken yearly Rental Plan of RS 998.
- From Past 4 months I am abroad and no is not in use
- They deduct RS 450 approx every month.

Airtel — Customer Care Support Blocked
I bought the AirTel prepaid, switching from TATA DOCOMO(poor call connectivity). I am a BlackBerry Internet User. I switched to AirTel after hearing some good reviews from my friends.Anyways, I got my SIM card, called 123 and my phone seems to able to make and receive calls.
Now, onto BlackBerry Internet Service(BIS) activation. I sent <airtelbb> to 121 to activate BIS on my BlackBerry device. No response. I called their customer support at 121. I spoke to the Customer Care exec who asked me to call 7070. I did. Turns out, since I am not yet registred BIS user with AirTel, I was diconnected right away and was asked to call 121 again. I did and I did about 15 times. Every time I choose the option to speak with the customer care rep, it says "please call *121# toll free". It's pretty obvious I've been blocked to speak with customer care. Upon calling *121#, I get an error message telling me that the number is incorrect.
This means I can't activate BIS by SMS option and I can't activate it by speaking to customer support reps. I have Rs.498.00 in my prepaid account(more than the Rs.399 required for BIS activation)
Why am I blocked? Why are the numbers I am getting incorrect?
PS, I wiped to device to make sure none of the TATA DOCOMO settings remained in my handheld system. I've done it all right and still can't get a decent service. A gaping hole in our nation's telecom system, which is although very cheap, quite terrible. I've lived in the United States for the past 6 years and I can assure you that this sort of customer handling is absolutely unacceptable and telecom service providers get sued for treating their customers like dirt(like I am being treated by AirTel).
I want immediate action and I want my BIS service up and running within the next 24 hours. I am a loyal, honest customers and asking for the service I have paid for is my right.

Airtel — unnecessary block my number
my no is [protected] i buy this no 5 month back, and submitted all documents and photos..i used this number for 1 month, but after this airtel sms me and ask me to submit my documents again .i resubmitted all documnets again and daily go to airtel office ..but they still no start my no ..and ask me to go to other airtel office .
