[Resolved]  Aquaguard — poor service

My experience with aquaguard- EUREKA FORBES IN bANGALORE has been very bad, to say the least. right from installation, They have provided the worst possible consumer service. Competition between two nearby branches for installation leading to delay, providing the wrong model for my requirements- (as reported by the Manager!), delay in installation for days after payment- Can things be worse? This is in Koramangla branch/kanakapira branch Bangalore. My advice never get their products.

AquaGuard — Poor Service

I had logged in a complaint on 03-Sep-11 (complaint no.[protected] as my Aquaguard Water Purifier stopped working. Till date its 09-Sep-11 (6 days), nobody has come to our house to repair. I have been following with their customer care on daily basis, all they say we're sorry and the technician will surely come tomorrow, we have taken your complaint on an urgent basis.

I wonder if this is the way they take care o[censored]rgent request then what would be happening with normal request. Their is absoloutely no system of tracking complaints. I spoke with their senior guy at the call centre and asked him, don't they check whether a complaint which is logged in their system is closed or not. To my utter surprise the executive said, we just forward the complaint to the franchisee service centre and we dont follow after that, if the customer calls up after 3-4 days then again we forward it to the service centre.

Alas! had i known this is the way their customer service works, I would have never purchased an Aquaguard. And here I am strongly suggesting not to buy their products, there is nothing special about their product and with this kind of customer service one would be better off buying other water purifiers.

I have very bad experience today. I raised a query regarding the problem with Aquasure crystal model today morning around 8AM. Within a span of time, i received a call from one person saying he is calling from Eurekafobes and he asked the problem. He said he will come and check. He came and said he has to replace with new filters because it got damaged. I asked him we brought just 5 months back only, it is under warranty. He said no, i dont know speak to customer care. When i cald i came to know he is not from your company at all. Seriously I dont know, how can you people can so careless to share our number to some unknown person. He replaced new filters by taking 900 bugs. At the end we are at loss.

If you really concern about customer. Place take immediate action and find out that fake and get my money back.

The service of Eureka Forbes is extremey pathetic in bangalore. WE have been trying to call the customer service for a simple job of shifting and reinstallation and no one has attended to the call. It has been 5 days since and inspite of repeated reminders no one has come to service.

I have gone for acquaguard of eureka Forbes. After purchasing it, there was supposed to be first service after 6 months. It's been a long time there is no response. They are keen about dumping the product & payment. At the time of installation, they will commit thay they will only call us and do the service. But if you call, bang.....no response. So I am posting it here to get some response from this site at least.
We have been approached by Euroka sales personnal to take a buy back offer with a new Euroka Genius machine.
Euroka guys have installed the machine 10 days before. From the day one, the machine never worked allways problamatic.

We have made so far several calls, but in vain. The great thing was our old machine was working with out any problem, the question is why did we really went for the new one..? I will never recommand to buy euroka forbes for two reasons.. Very bad quality of the products and No service setup to handle the issues. Suresh D,

incident 1. i placed a request for reinstallation, as i change my house ...no one trunup even after 4-5 follow ups ...and useless service guys sent some unauthorised guys who were asking for 1500 just for installation, at last i did it for my self some how
2. in last one months i have placed 5 complainant's for servicing, every time customer care people promice that some one will revert in 24 hrs, nothing happened

i can give last three complaint numbers also

last time when i ask that please escalate and let me talk to floor manager, they said he is busy and i will get a call back . But again ...care less customer care .

hopeless, customer care . Useless service quality .just not worth going with eureka forbes aqua guard any more

I register complaint about my water purifier one month back which was on AMC till June 2015, their technician visited after frequent reminder. He checked and inform that switch is defective and will come back after 3 to four day but never turned back. after one week again I register online complaint but found no response from their end so I called their help line.
Their call centre operator inform problem will be sorted out within 2 days and gave me their local area manage.
My wife called him as I was not in town and he promised that problem will be sorted out with in 2 days.
but 1 week passed and found no response from local service manager.
i bought a magna HD water purifier on 27th oct 2014, TDS of my supply water is 350 and I was told that the membrane and the filter will work for atleast one and half year, and then will have to replace and anyways 3 month service will provided.

I received call from the service center a month back, since then they promise everyday and don't show up. finally the technician arrives and charges 150 for visitation fees and tells me that membrane is gone and the water filters will also need to be replaced. It will cost another some 4200 rupees. this all could have been avoided if you had installed one extra external bottle.

I called up the guy who sold me the purifier, he says that this is very rare incident and anyway i will have to pay. I also asked him, why didn't he tell me about the external bottle in first place.

says company doesn't want to sell that bottle, only the product.
I am really helpless against this ridiculous service, no body gives clear idea of what is going on and I don't trust the technician that he will not cheat me again.

Please explain what is your policy against such issues.

Eureka Forbes aqua guard. It’s the first ever worst experience I have ever had in my lifetime. Such a useless behaviour from their CUSTOMER SUPPORT team with default response we are sorry. Who the hell needed your sorry. Worst ever service and not having their own team. Every time a technician comes his intentions is only to get 5 star and selling some filters. Rest the actual service is a ###. I never recommend anyone to buy aqua guard intact I myself market about such a bad service team they have got. Please never ever think of buying aqua guard especially in Bangalore.

Here below is my issue

After the first installation both inlet piping work and outlet piping works are not done in a proper manner. So it got broke and flooded my whole flat for almost foot high water in the middle of night. After that I requested a technician to come with relavant materials to fix this at first place. Untill now it’s not done. During my first service technician came and just sold his target of filter and left without fixing my actual issues. Second time when another technician came for my last free service he just shown up and did all survey and assured me he will come back next time but never shown up.
