[Resolved] Axis Bank — salary account Complaints -money debited from salary account as Consolidated charge | |
Dear Sir/Madam, It is to inform you that there is my salary account in Axis bank, Branch:-Sanjay palace, Agra (U.P.) My account no. is [protected]. I am related to Life insurance corporation of India (LIC). From It was told to us by your bank personal that it is a salary account & it can be operated at Rs. 0.00 balance. But amount has been deducted from my account because of consolidated charges. The deduction of Rs. 842/- (750+92) done on[protected] as a Consolidated charges. I had submitted an application in the bank above mentioned to rectify error or transaction. But no action has been taken and they say (bank employee) we can’t do nothing every process take from Bombay. I do not receive bank statement at home and debit card after card expire. I have also reminder to the operation Manager bank But no action has been taken. Please do needful action for customer satisfaction. Even I had encountered such problems.
Consolidated charges are nothing but "Penalty" for non-maintenance of minimum balance.
As you have mentioned that its a Salary A/c, there is no question of penalty.
I would suggest you to write in to the bank manager asking him to reverse the charges. If the Bank does not respond favourably, write in to "RBI Banking Ombudsman". They will surely help you out. You can also claim Compensation from the bank for their deiciency/negligence in services.
