[Resolved] Axis Bank Credit Card — Axis Bank Froze My Salary Account!
I am working with Accenture Software Services in Bangalore.In Month of December i lost my Credit Card(13th Dec) but i came to know about it after some days.As soon as i came to know it is Lost i reported the Matter to AXIS Bank from where i got the Card.
By the Time i got the Card Blocked there were already some Transactions of 37k (Total) done on my Card.
They asked me to File a Complaint with the Police Station which i Did Immediately (I have Xeror of FIR as well)
and a Dispute Form.I completed all the Formalities and sent it to AXIS Bank Credit Card Fraud Department in Mumbai.
After that continuously for 6 months i was getting calls from their Collection Department to deposit the Amount.I used to tell them that i have already logged a complaint with police as well as with Bank.But i never got any calls from their Credit Card Fraud Department.
All of a sudden after 6 months Axis Bank Blocked my Salary Savings Account which i got from Company.Every month my salary goes there and they blocked the Account and have taken my 45k which was the Balance in my Account.Account Blocking date was 1st July '08
When i asked them they told me initially that they have only marked it as Lien but they are not going to take any amount from my Account.But after a week on 9th July '08 they took an Amount of 10, 686 from my Salary Account without asking for my authorisation.
AXIS Bank already knows that i have not done those transactions since they have already got some amount from their own Merchandisers(About 5k as per the Information i got from Bank).
Axis Bank is also going to get the Amount from Insurance Company as each Card is under the Insurance Cover but still they are not releasing my Hard Earned Money.
Because of this i have till now suffered Huge Depression as i am not at all used to this.
Kindly help me in fighting for my rights as i have done no wrongs.
Note: I have Proofs of every documents like FIR & Dispute Forms & even Insurance Form which the Bank asked me to fill up.
