[Resolved]  Axis Bank Home Loan — Horrible experience with axis bank's home loan...

Dear Sirs,

This is Deepak from Bangalore . I restricted myself for a long time from writing this mail to you. But, when I didn't see any response and accountability from Axis Bank, I could no longer wait.

This all started sometime in March this year. I booked a flat in an apartment in Bangalore and was given the contact of Mr. Amit Sharma ([protected]) from Analytical Investments (for AXIS BANK) by the builder. Mr. Amit met me and I explained him my salary, expenses and other expense details, based on which, he confirmed me that I have the eligibility of 23 lacs. Since this amount was sufficient for me to go ahead, I proceeded with an understanding that eligibility is already assessed. Amit told me that one of his colleague will come to take the documents and cheque for processing fee for this home loan. Then, I was approached by Mr. Murugesh ([protected]), who came and collected my documents as well as the cheque of Rs. 5618 for the processing fee. I didn’t hesitate in giving the cheque since Mr. Amit had already confirmed me about my eligibility. Mr. Murugesh took all these and went back. The verification process started and I waited for long time thinking that everything is going on well. Within a couple of days, I saw that my bank account was debited with the cheque that I provided to AXIS Bank for Rs. 5618. This gave me more confidence that everything is going on well.

Suddenly, one day I got a letter at my home address stating that AXIS Bank can’t provide the loan to me. This was a shock. There was no reason mentioned in the letter. I called AXIS Bank’s office and talked to Ms. Renu ([protected], landline –[protected]. She said that the letter was sent by mistake and they are still working on the loan process. Later, she called me up and to my surprise; she said that my eligibility is not there for the loan. I was taken aback. This comment came from AXIS Bank even though Mr. Amit had already told me that I had eligibility of 23 lacs, after the address and other verification process were done, after the processing fee amount was taken from my account and after waiting for such a long time. I argued with Renu about how could then Mr. Amit tell that I had the eligibility. If I didn’t have the eligibility, I am not a fool to proceed with the loan process and waste my Rs. 5618. She again told me that she will work with her manager and come back to me. She called again a couple of days but, all of them to say that nothing could be done and my eligibility is not there and the loan can’t be sanctioned. I got annoyed and asked her to return back my processing fee amount. She said the policy is not there to return the amount. I understood from HDFC and ICICI Bank that if they don’t sanction the loan, all the documents along with the amount is returned back to the customer. But here, neither did I get back my documents till date, neither the amount.

When I saw nothing is yielding results, I asked Renu to give her manager’s number. She gave the number (sorry, I don't remember his name) and when I called, he was driving and said that he would call me back. I waited for a couple of days for his call. One fine day, one Ms. Indu (I think this was the name) called me and said that her manager wanted to know why I had called him a few days back. I explained her whole story but, she heard and told me the same thing – the processing fee can’t be returned. When I requested her again, she said that she will talk to her manager and call me back. This never happened. To follow up, when I called and talk to her, she said her manager is out of station and she doesn’t know when he will be back. Today, after more than a week, I am still waiting for the manager’s call.

Sir, as you see, this is a horrible experience. I was told that a panel has evaluated AXIS Bank as the best bank. I don’t know how. At least, I would never say that. You can see that they have given false information on the eligibility, collected the documents, taken the processing fee and then reverted back saying that eligibility is an issue. Till date, they have not returned the documents or the amount. Eligibility is the first thing that a customer takes care before giving any processing fee. But, AXIS Bank has cheated in this respect and has made some money out of this. I am not sure how many people would have experienced this with AXIS Bank. This looks like a good business for them. I don't think they have any business Ethics. How can they give false information to the customers and make money?

Sir, I would hence request you to please look into this matter urgently and help safeguard the customers’ rights. You help will definitely ensure that AXIS Bank doesn't repeat such cases down the line with any other customer.

I didn’t hesitate in giving the cheque since Mr. Amit had already confirmed me about my eligibility. Mr. Yogesh took all these documents and went back. The verification process started and I waited for long time thinking that everything is going on well. Within a couple of days, I saw that my bank account was debited with the cheque that I provided to AXIS Bank for Rs. 2560. This gave me more confidence that everything is going on well.
But suddenly one day he called me said that your are not fitted in our eligibility criteria. so we can't provide you loan. I asked him to give me my documents and check back but he did not given me my check back. that check was already debited cash from my account.
till the date i was not received my money back .. and that man Mr. Amit doesnt replied on my call.. he is not receiving my call..
so please be aware of such a fraud agents.

This has been handled through an agent called as SV Money Solutions in Double Road. . There are 15 calls and 2 visits by this agent for various things . . viz., documents, blank cheque, statement, receipt, and so on . . Axis bank took some 12000+ rupees as proceesing fee. .. and when I call for status . . they say it is with SM - Senior manager. . . This bank is a Cheater bank. . .Please call me I will provide all the details . . .
If you want to get into a trap, better you go with Axis bank Home Loans, Let me share my experience with you, I applied for a home loan through bank bazaar.com. This portal doest not have a proper knowledge about specific criteria for home loan & thier process. Bank Bazaar is also provides false information to the customer. As communicated by bank bazaar, processing fees will be deduct from the loan amount but Axis bank had charged processing fees when I submitted my documents. After that I got approval from Axis Bank that I am eligible for home loan upto 18.5 lacs and I was happy I thought one of my best dream come true. When I showed a property which approved by HUDA Axis bank says they can not give a loan against this property, reason property owner has made some renovation in this property. Then I again showed a property which constructed by Shiv Sai Infrastructure. One of thier apartment in Sector 63, Faridabad, I was interested to buy that property. This time also Bank says this property not in thier list. Surprisingly all other banks are giving loans to both property except Axis Bank. I dont know whats the nexus between bank bazaar and Axis bank. Once they collected processing fees they are changing thier words. Axis bank has lots of specific criteria to provide bank loans which neither bank bazaar nor axis bank disclosing to the customer. But they are not aware that Hidden agenda will not give a success in the market
Me also I have very bad experience with AXIS Bank Loan Branch Pune.These useless guys don't have much knowledge.They are more irresponsible. I have already a loan account with AXIS Bank.I enquired two three times to axis bank for top up loan, we got no response so we decided to change bank.We decided to go with HDFC bank.

In the month of October 2015 we got a check from HDFC bank to clear my balance amount of home loan to Axis Bank.
Me and my wife went to submit it, one lady took it all and went to retention Manager, she offered us the ROI(Rate Of Interest) 9.5% on both Home loan and Top Up Loan. and asked us to cancel the procedure done with HDFC we cancelled it and she said within 7 days we will get the Top up loan DD/Cheque.
The executive started his procedure collecting documents, Processing fees and now today is the case they are still in process of preparing my cheque.asking me more and more documents every new day.

I wanted to start a small business on this Deewali. I lost all my interest about business.

Finally what we have suffered from the rest of the people should not suffer that is our intention please dont go with AXIS Bank, please pass on this message to every one.I am regretting that why I didnt go wiht HDFC.

Guys, Please don't take any loan from Axis bank specially home loan, they are really very-very bad customer experience. Even if you delay they will make your life measurable by keep calling you. They are very least bother about timing, importance of any individual. The language they talk is so bad, they are not worry about customer. In last couple of days getting calls from Axix bank - Hyderabad support.

Requesting everyone never ever take any loan from Axis bank.
I have home loan from Axis BANK, they disbursed 95% amount without any issue . But for remaining 5 % amount i am they harrased me a lot . I am pursuing to them every day from last 2 months, but still not getting any feedback from no one . When I demand for 5 % they disbursed only 3 % amount without any reason and no one know the reason .

Finally I have shifted to new home by giving builder post dated cheque, but still not getting any feedback from Axis Home Loan dept, agents not receiving calls . Very bad service from Axis Bank .

The axis bank processing is good and customer care is well cooperated with my mortgage loan...But the representatives in loan center are money minded since they made me into stress in loan process...Since all my process in my mortgage loan was over, i got a call from a representative that my loan may get cancelled since i dint agree for life insurance, which i have already with lic..He forced me a lot to have a life insurance with them of rs16000/- per year...I was depressed that the loan may get cancelled...Later from a phone banking officer i confirmed that life insurance is not mandatory in mortgage loan and some of the representatives are doing it as an business...The representative work is to guide the customers, not to do nonsense things for their business...Mainly i want to mention that it was happened with coimbatore RAC...My suggestion is that since they are getting salary in axis bank, why they are stressing customers with additional business like this...
Yes it is absolutely right. Very Very Very bad customer service.

I suggest not to go for Axis bank for your home loan.

First of all the sales person who provides you the information are not experienced. They even not know the list of all documents to apply for home loan. They will get submit all your documents what ever you have in place on very first day and will tell you the loan got applied successfully and will tell you wait for 10 days. After 10 days when you will call for approval letter they will tell you new document which was not asked earlier. Now again will start procedure from start and will tell you to wait again for 4-5 days. This procedure will go for at least 1-1.5 months. When you start frustrating and shouting on them then they will start working on it. Now you will get approval letter.
When you will ask for disbursement of certain amount they again will tell you documents to submit and again same procedure will get repeated. I got the check after 2 months of applying home loan and have to pay 3 lacks rupees as a interest to builder.

My friends have very good experience with SI, HDFC banks. Please think 100 times before applying home loan in Axis bank.
This si a 4 months unresolved issue against axis bank - unresolved by senior managers - unresolved by nodal and pno office axis bank;

I have also emailed axis bank management including shikha sharma md axis bank;

(But axis bank management including shikha are all sleeping;

[protected]@axisbank.com, shikha. [protected]@axisbank.com, [protected]@axisbank.com, rajesh. [protected]@axisbank.com, rajiv. [protected]@axisbank.com, prashant makker prashant. [protected]@axisbank.com) are all sleeping) or in short they most likely want axis bank to cheat customers and allow axis bank to earn from customers by cheating them,.

Complaint is also posted to consumer forums, twitter and facebook as axis bank officials are not responding for justice and resolution;

I have called up the senior managers of axis bank (Prashanth makker and anil kumar from rac gurgaon) axis bank and found serious miscalculations and blunders in axis bank loan calculations for our loan (I want urgent call back and resolution of the issues)

The service issues and miscalculations are so grave that axis bank can be called a cheat;

I want to clarify my calculations and close my loan asap;

I have eben emailing axis bank since 3 months and my issues are open so i have to approach banking ombudsman and rbi on m, y loan account: axis bank loan ac phr[protected]
