[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Policy Papers not received

I signed up for Max New York Life Gain Plus policy through Axis bank. The representative at Axis bank informed me that i will receive a phone call from Max New York within "couple of days" confirming my sign up. I signed up on Monday, March 19, 2012. Till date I have not received any phone calls from any of the Max New York Life Insurance representative. Upon calling the toll free number of Max New York, they claim they do not have any record of me. My account was already debited on March 20, 2012 for the policy premium payment by Axis Bank. I immediately called and asked them to stop that pay order but I was informed that it cannot be done now and I have to wait to get the policy paperr first. Today it has been 10 days since i signed up and paid for the service and still no record of any papers or any phone call as claimed by the Axis bank representative.

I am not sure if I will ever get any policy papers at all. I just want to cancel this and get a refund of my money that axis has debited from my account !!

On every social netoworking site like facebook. And anywhere possible, I will give my feedback about axis bank. I was lured into this policy. I was misinformed about the policy terms. And now when I want to cancel, I have to wait for the policy papers and the papers would never come..!!

Axis Bank — MISINFORMATION

I had opened a Savings A/c ( No.[protected] ) with Krishna Nagar ( Delhi-51) branch of Axis Bank on 05/9/08. While opening the A/c I was suggested to opt for the "Smart Priviledge " A/c instead of the ordinary Savings A/c. I was told to maintain an average Qtly balance ( AQB ) OF Rs 10, 000 instead of Rs. 5, 000 ( in the Ordinary Savigs A/c ) for which I would be issued a debit card free of cost alongwith no annual maintenance fees for the same. I agreed for the same. But when I got my passbook I was shocked to see a debit of Rs. 57 towards card issuance charges. I have argued with them a no. of times alongwith my wriiten complaint ( on their demand ) but to no avail.

i have deposited a cqe of rs 35000 on 7th april, and today till date 16th april the amount is not credited in my account.i have complained about this at their customer care but they don't have any information about the cqe then i went to the branch where i have deposited and they told that it will be credit to your account today by 11 am but still i waiting...when i called this gye just now he told you have to wait just for one more day..they have the worst BANKING SERVICE ...
i am also a victim of Axis bank. they are moving in icici way. very soon they wil go bankrupt accoding to me. i suggest everyone to close all relationships with axis bank and opt for other good banks like HDFC or even nationalised banks. do not trust banks like Axis/Icici. they are enjoying withe the public money.
I was asked to visit the branch today and was requested to sign the NEFT paper. I signed the document and I was informed that within 7 working days, I wil get my money back. The total amount that was debited was Rs.30, 000. I was informed that there will be a deduction of postal/stamp charges of Rs.120 and the entire remaning amount will be refunded back.

My perception is it takes maximum of 48 hours for NEFT transfers and not 7 days.

However, as it is, I was assured that the amount will be credited to my account within seven days. I will be waiting for this 7-day period and will keep this thread updated with any recent updates. I will post another reply to this forum once the amount is refunded to my account.
They are a bunch of thugs !!! They are thieves, have stolen my money !!

I was informed that I will get my money back within seven business days. The seven business-day period is already over still no sign of my money in my account.

Upon contacting, I was informed that it will take a further two day time till Tuesday, April 17, 2012 for the refund to get processed.

Since I felt I am being given a run around, I asked the representative to send me an email documenting that I will get my funds by April 17, 2012. I have not received any email yet. My money is not credited yet. Axis and Max New York are thieves. Worst Customer Service. Broken promises. Even after complaining here, they have still not refunded my money in the time period they had mentioned.

I need my money back ASAP / an assurance in writing with a fixed date as to when I can see funds in my account !!
