[Resolved]  B. E. S. T. Undertaking — best bus complaint

From kandivali to bangurnagar there are only 3 buses running 210, 707, 205. i want to suggest them that there is no proper frequancy is maintaining by them. every 3 out of 5 occations this buses comes same time then there will be a half hour break.also their drivers & conductors are very careless specially 707 long route buses, they always skip to stop some of the small stop. I faced lots of trouble with best buses. some time i also argued with conductors regarding this, plz take some serious actions immediately on best buses we public have to face lots of trouble because their drivers & conductors are becoming very careless. plz do feedback to my email id [protected]@yahoo.co.in & on weekends also frequancy is very less, some this buslike 205, 210 whos last stop dahisar bridge some time they runs till chincholi bundur or orlem church (210) why they are wasting petrol to run for such short distances. i observe this buses for short distance they never had passangers, plz do take immediate actions on best buses

Last Saturday 28/02/2010 I was traveling in an a/c bus of best which runs between Mira road to Santacruz(Mumbai).I asked conductor for my ticket he told me that it will cost me Rs.40 from Parle to Kandivali and if i don't take ticket he will just take RS.20 from me and wont give me ticket but i refused he asked this to all passenger n many even accepted it. IT is my kind request to B.E.S.T to take proper action against such corrupt conductor as B.E.S.T bus service has to suffer this loss.

i am a college student travelling from vileparle to tolani college[majas depo} there is only 1 bus 339 which comes frm juhu.. the frequency of this bus is less..
within half n hour one bus comes n now, they send a bus only till half route(parsi panchayat)after that it goes back again.today i was jus waiting for the bus frm half n our n the bus came.but was till the half route, i asked the conducter why are they doing so he said we send one bus within 20 to 30 min of majas agar then another bus is covering half route.so jus dont cut off the routes n make it short.
plz increase the frequency of 185 339.

This Bus was not stop at the FAMOUS STUDIO BUS STOP on 03 / 03 / 2010 Time :- 13:15 hrs.and Bus was empty then also not stopping the Bus on the respective stop.

SO PLS. TAKE NECESSARY ACTION.

I wanted to complaint against driver of Busroute no 272 from Malad Station on 06/03/2010 morning 11.08 a.m.The bus has left the stop from Malad Station And waiting on the next corner for signal I ran to the bus the driver allowed one person to get in the bus from frount door as the bus was to get the signal even I tried to get in from the frount door but the driver didn't allow me and d moment I will reach the back door he just drove the bus.The Bus no was MH01-L4805.The BEST drivers are not like the one he was, There are some good drivers who stops the bus for public, They should understand that they have to give the best service to public at last the show is running of BEST is from normal public.They should have curtesy to public

I have a serious complaint against Buses and Drivers plying in worli location particularly Jijamata Bus Stop. I am a regular traveller from Jijamata Bus Stop to Byculla Station from Bus No.154. These days the passenger crowd at this particular Bus Stop during peak hours( 8.30am- 10.30am) has increased so much, it becomes very difficult infact next to impossible particularly for girls to catch the bus.

There are 3 primary reasons for not getting the bus :
(1) The frequency of bus no. 154 is less and for some reason back-to-back 4 buses are sent one after another and then there is a time gap of half an hour for them to come back again. ( resulting in unnecessary delay to passengers )

(2) The Bus Drivers and the Conductors do not halt the bus at the bus stop fearing the bus getting crowded.

(3) If they halt the bus, they do not wait till the passengers get in the bus even if the bus is half empty. The conductor immediately rings the bell inspite of passengers waiting outside to get in the bus .

I would like to bring to your notice today's incident. I was waiting at Jijamata Bus stop at peak hour 9am to catch bus no.154. As it was a peak hour, the stop was very crowded. I alongwith many ladies coudn't catch 2 buses from rear entry due to crowd jumping on one another to catch the bus. However, we even tried to catch the bus from front entry but none of the drivers showed empathy or sympathy on our situation and we were denied entry.

Afterwards another bus no. 154 came and we had made up our minds to catch the bus from front entry as rear entry was not possible due to overwhelming crowd waiting to molest any girl who wishes to go through them. So we got in form the front entry but the driver was very adamant and he did not allow us even though we had tickets. when i said that " i have no problem coming form rear entry but he should wait till we board the bus to which he said yes i'll wait"
But when we got down and moved towards rear entry, the conductor ringed the bell and the driver moved away. This is utter nonsense and frustrating .

Pls advice what we should do in such situations or what steps you'll take to eradicate this problem.

I have registered a complaint at Byculla bus depot against the driver ( id- 62959 ) and bus no- 7755, complaint receipt no-30.

We would like to suggest that :

(a) since ladies seat is in near the front exit, we should be allowed to use the front gate during peak hours atleast at crowded bus stops. ( Jijamata Bus Stop)

(b) The frequency of buses during peak hours should be increased and released at regular intervals.

(c) Drivers and conductors should be breifed on consumer complaints at regular intervals so as to improve services and trust.

If these basis things are brought into effect, this city would be a better place to live in .

Hope higher authorities and decision makers will take note of same and bring the change we want to see.

It is really good thing that you have started BEST service on rout Thane - Kalwa - Retibandar Bus number 494. I am leaving at Parsik nagar. But it the very bad thing about you that your bus drivers are not stoping buses where the Best bust stop sign is not marked. mainly at stop say Vastu-Anand & Subhash Tower area. Due to this we are facing so much problem.

Objective of this complaint is that kindly suggest your drivers to stop the buses the location said (Vastu-Ananand, Subhash Tower) or pl also provide stop for these two locations.

I would like to inform you that all AS 505 & 505 LTD bus should be extended till Jal vayu Vihar Kharghar as lot of people from Jal vayu Vihar till Kharghar Station require a good frequency of Buses as Frequency of 505 LTD is after every 10minutes it will attract more crowd to Best Services as also Best Bus revenue will also will be increase .As i have seen that when start from CBD Belapur it goes with half load passenger so on trail basis i request you to extended the services of both the Bus to Kharghar as now International Park has also started so there will be more crowd coming to Kharghar. We are resident of Kausa/Mumbra located at Thane district. Sir, we are facing serious problems while travelling. This is because BEST buses are not plying in MUMBRA/KAUSA regions. Dear sir,

My name is Pradeep and i travel to Dahisar east(Gokul Anand) to prabhadevi everyday by 7.30 AS-2 AC bus.

I would like to bring this to your notice that the service of AS-2 is very irregular from last one week. I will explain all the instance.

1. On last Friday 12th March 2009 there were no buses before 8.00 AM in the morning. That means 4 buses were missing without any prior notice to the passengers. when the first bus at 8.10 came to gokul anand it was already full from the first stop.

2. I travelled on Tuesday 16th March 2010 and there was no bus at 7.30. Bus came directly at 7.45. Bus conductor told me that Today is holiday so we have reduced the no of buses.
How can it be done without any notice? Why it has not been mentioned in the time table that there will be less no of buses on festivals.

3. Again on Wednesday 17th march no buses till 7.45 and people were waiting since 7.00 AM on the stop.

4. Today on 18th March 2010 people were standing on Gokul Anand Stop and the 7.15 bus driver did not bother to take the bus to the stop and he took the flyover and went directly. Every passenger saw the bus on the stop. we could take the 7.30 bus.

What should we understand? there is nobody to lookafter this? Will this keep on going on everyday or somebody will take care that it dosent happens again.

Moreover there there is no complain section available on the best buses website.

I will be waiting for the concerned authority's reply on the same. I hope somebody is reading the complaints..

because now this bus is going to ghatkopar all the time this bus goes with few people only
the new route can be

This is to register a complain occurred on 27th March 2010 @ 9.30am, against a rash Bus Driver who bumped in my car from behind. Bus number - MH-01-CA-5966, Driver batch number - 936194, conductor id - 62726. Depot - Pratisha Nagar

This is caused a serious damage to my car rear and boot and the vehicle. The estimate of the damages is approx Rs.18, 000. This is caused a serious damage to my car rear and boot and the vehicle. I have already complained at Mulund Depot

This related to bus route from Deonar to Thane and Thane to Deonar (Bus No 399).I always travel by this bus because i worked in Mulund from golf club this is the only bus which is going to Mulund ever morning bus comes late if it comes it never ever stop at golf club stop.Today from 9.00 AM to 9.40 AM i was waiting for bus 399 it came at 9.45 AM it was not complete pack bus their were minimum people in the bus still that bus driver didnt stop at Golf Club i was already late for an office so i ran to catch that bus i have almost die because i lost my balance to catch that bus 399 still that driver did not stop bus he saw from the mirror but he still didnt stop bus infact he speed up bus and i would have not been alive today if the passenger have not pull me in i have to reach office at 10.00 AM but i reached by 11.00 AM i know due Mono Railways work their is problem going on but still if bus is coming late driver need to stop at bus stop.I have note down the Bus no its MH01 L9152 Conducter batch no. 82762 i wont able to see batch of driver so i note only conducter no i hope this information muight help you.Their is one more request not the bus route have changed due to Mono rail work can you please help me from golf club how would i reach to Mulund do i need to catch from same stop or opposite stop which goes from R K studio route to Mulund.Please do needful for todays incident...

i think bus no 493 should be diverted through nirmal lifestyle from bhandup pumping station
and from sion it should be extended upto mumbai central depot
this will be beneficial as most of the times this bus goes empty
many people who board this bus have to change from sion to their office destination
so the new route can be :
dadlani park / cadbury junction - marathon chowk - mulund checknaka [w] - nirmal lifestyle - nahur railway station - bhandup pumping station - bhandup village - ghatkopar depot - amar mahal - sion - kodadad circle - prabhadevi - nehru planetorium - vasantrao naik chowk - mumbai central station - mumbai central depot
so please do the needful

B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Unacceptance of Rs 500

I was travelling by a BEST Bus route on 524 on 8th of April. I had Rs 500 note and asked the conductor for issuing me the ticket. He mentioned that BEST conductors had been "instructed" (by the officials presumably) that they should NOT accept Rs 500 and 1000 notes. I was asked to offboard from the bus.
My questions are
a) What are my rights as passenger of the BEST service (which has a monopoly over public transportation in Mumbai). esp since i was ready to pay the necessary fare and travel legally.
b) How can any instituion of the country refuse legal tender issued by the Reserve Bank of India.

I would like to hear from the management if BEST in the above points.

I am living in Koparkhairane Navi mumbai. I am working in MIDC electronic zone mahape.

All the employees are living in this area whom working location is in Mahape.

As per current situations BEST buses are not available for this root.

but the AC BEST buses are available from LTIL MAhape to Dindoshi Depot.

Please also arrange the best buses from LTIL to vashi rly stn.

This is the best route and after 5:30 their is enough emplyees that BEST can earn profit from this route.

Best Timings for the employees is from 8:30 to 10:30 and in evening its from 5:30 to 7:30.

the best should start a new bus from nahur railway station to vashi
most of the times the buses come packed
so its really difficult to get in the bus
and in peak hours the bus doesnt halt only at the stop
or else the bus no 501 or 520 which both goes to airoli of which one must be extended upto nahur railway station so please do the needful
this is urgent

B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Not stopping at Kanjurmarg

In the morning hours, there is no bus which stop at Kanjurmarg (uma - stop), even if it does, it fully loaded packed with people. it becomes very difficult to board.. kindly arrange for a better frequency so that one can get a bus.

B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Frequency of bus no. 422

Please increase the frequency of bus no. 422 as it is always overstuffed with passengers (especially in the mornings). Also, please let the AC 422 follow the same route as the non-AC 422 (the AC 422 starts from Andheri Station whereas the non-AC 422 starts from Bandra Stn).
The routes going to Bandra station via family court are very miserably bad. Yesterday i.e. on26.04.2010, between 06.00 and 6.15 p.m. 2 buses No.390 and another had 217 written in chalk was driven straight without stopping at the family court stop. This is only one example. The same is a routine for the buses plying at Bandra East and going towards Bandra Station. The same is very bad especially for ladies commuters as we often board the bus while it is motion, as we are sure that the bus is not going to stop at the Family court stop. We request that the matter is looked into very seriously since there are number of commuters waiting for the bus due to unavailability of Autos, due to the presence of number of offices in the area. We have to depend upon the private buses who are happy to take the passengers, but it looks like the BEST is not interested to take passengers, The behavior of the conductors on this route also needs to be improved as when confronted for this behavior in case we manage to get in the bus is very bad.we hope the matter would be taken up seriously and things sorted out at the earliest.
