BEST Undertaking - Mumbai — Poor Frequency

Worst BEST service Route No 288
Lokhandwala township has Bus route no 288 which has frequency of 30 to 45 minutes for one bus in the Evening. Passenger wait for 45 minutes of get in bus. have wait least for 3 bus since the queue is longest from kandivili bus station .

Whereas route 300 has service every 5 Minutes what is the difference . Carrying on 10 passenger for bus route 300 whereas 288 carries 100 passenger .

When will be BEST provide frequency of 5 minutes to Lokandwala. Pls divert Route No 289 from Vasa Hosiptal to Sai garden/Lokhandwala circle, Anita Nagar, Neighour hood , anita vihar , Green Meadows, Back to Lokhandwala circle to station which will provide relief to Lokhandwala and Kranti Nagar.

Traffic Controller please get your Green JEEP and check for One month.

I am very happy with the introduction of AC bus no 551 from Marol depot to Nerul Station.Recently we have heard that you are changing this bus route from vashi station to marol depot.

We along with my colleges use this service in the morning from Nerul station to MIDC for going to our office.Just a humble rqeuest to you sir to continue with the same route from nerul station to marol in the morning as usual time of 7.15, 7.38 and 8 a.m. After that you can start from Vashi as we have already taken a pass and are quite happy with the service.

We assure you that more and more people will start using the service from nerul in the times to come..

Dear Sir,

Need daily bus from Kharghar(gharkul -spagetti) Highway to Malad(chincholi bundder)

I am requesting you to start the BEST /NMMT/ST /AC Any bus service from panvel -kharghar highway to direct Malad(chincholi bunder). As many people from Kharghar highway daily travelling to goregaon -malad .but there is direct buses are not available.
so pls. implement the same service ASAP.

We have request firstly please increase the bus frequency at the evening time as it is very hot. And other thing please start one more direct bus from Chembur to Seepz(Tunga international) Via Ghatkopar & powai as there is only one bus 382. If you start one more bus on this route people will find eazy to commute directly to Seepz neither they have to change. We thank BEST for there best service given to we mumbaikar and we are proud to be mumbaikar.

Please make a bus stop in between Powai Vihar and Shipping corp (Just befor the Powai Police stn Bridge) as you know the road work is going on but it is difficult for us to walk from Powai Vihar bus stop to powai police station as it is very sunny.

BEST BUSES — Buses don't halt in spite of enough space for passengers

Respected Sir,

I travel regularly from Vashi to L&T bus stop and would like to report a recent incident and also bring to the notice of the concerned authorities, certain facts and practices of the BEST bus personnel of Bus No. 523 and 522.

On May 11, 2010, a BEST bus with the following details:
Bus route no.: 523
Timing: around 4.45 pm
Bus vehicle no.: MH 01 LA 6240
Bus stop: Larsen and Toubro, Powai
The bus mentioned above had ample space (hardly 4 -5 standing passengers only; otherwise the buses are always more crowded, at any time of the day) to accomodate the 5 - 6 passangers who intended to board the bus. I deliberately waved to the bus driver suggesting that we were willing to board the bus. But the bus driver was only curtious enough to slow down the bus; and not stop it. Only after a short run behind the bus, I was able to board the bus with another one person. Another elderly lady standing on the bus stop with me also attempted the feat, but was unsuccessful. The most remarking part of the entire incident was that the bus stopped at all the bus stops after the L&T bus stop; even the Hiranandani bus stop, which was empty the that day.

This is just one incident that I am reporting after having discovered this site. This phenomenon of not halting at the bus stop is a rampant behaviour at the L&T bus stop and especially for buses arriving after 5.20pm; when the L&T employees are on the bus stop for availing the BEST bus services.

The buses are already crowded when they reach the bus stop, but there is space for accomodating a few more passengers.

Kindly help us with this problem so that travelling home is not like fighting a war.

B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Rude behaviour by bus conductor

Dear Sir / Madam,
I Avelin Fernandes resident of Mumbai was travelling by BEST Bus on 15.05.2010 at 07.05 pm bus conductor of that bus rudely spoke to me. he told that you are free traveller and wants everything free. I Had 15 rupees ticket in my pocket and i was going to show him. i said ok you are telling free traveller so i gave him money and told to give next stop he reply in such a way hey hey kute nav sang i told this coming stop. then i told to give it at podar stop. then he gave when i asked him his batch no he told take and do whatever you what lets see what you do.
I would like to suggest if he is frustrated with his job better you try in other department why are you getting angry on passengers. in full day i dont know with how many passengers he might be behaving rudely.
I request you to take strict action against him so that what happened with me on that day wont happen with anyone else in future. BUS CONDUCTOR BATCH NO IS 59132.

The bus 459Ltd is not stoping at Duncan Mulund Stop .Though the bus was not that crowded, driver is not stoping at the stop.

pl extend your bus rout no AS-525 instade from dindoshi depot to borivali station east which helpes many passengers to avoid break jurney while coming from mahape & also by going to borivali (e) by AS-700 which was heavely rushed we can go to borivali(e) by AS-525 by coming to Airoli junction becaused many passergers are staying at kanivali, malad etc

Please increase the bus services from Gorai Depot to Mulun Check Naka Bus No. AS 458, 2 buses are already in Wadala Depo for repairing so only 6 buses are on working thats why so much rush in AS 458 bus every day evening 6 to 8 pm & morning 8 to 11 am. Please do the needful as soon as possible.

BEST Bus — More bus Fare and Rude behaviour

Sir,

I was travelling from Malad Station to Parikh Nagar which is at Kandivli West near Station and the Bus charge is 4 rs. and the Conductor Charged me Rs. 6.
I travel through this route and the charge is 4Rs. and on asking he told me the charge is 6 rs. and when i asked the 2Rs. back, he rudely replied that the charge is 6 rs. and if you want to compalint go ahead.
What kind of behaviour is this, Is this the Service you ar providing from the Best. Bus No was 205 and Timing was 10.55am and dated 8/6/10.

BEST bus service — Buses Not stopping during peak hours

This is the regular affair of BEST buses not stopping at the bus stops during peak hours though the buses are empty i will not say that the buses are fully empty but atleast some of the commuters can easily go in. You cannot expect the buses to be empty during peak hours. but buses should stop on every stops its the choice of the commuters to enter in or not.
My complaint is for Bus route no. 348, not stopping at the bus stop of Hanuman Road. Bus No. MH 01 LA 5855 Bus Conductor No. 32073/ no. 15321, I am able to get the nos as i caught the bus on the signal
I want who ever is the authority to take the stern action against the arrogant conductor who was arguing though his mistake of not stopping the bus on the bus stop. If this consumer complaint cell is active kindly let me know too what is the action taken on the conductor

Sub: No.37 Best Bus frequency is very Low...

I am Daily use this 37no. Bus to go University at morning from Tv Center.

I Came every day by 8.20 am on Tv Center Stop ( Before Old Passport office, worli ). But 8 out of 10 time this bus never come before 9 am, and this issue I am facing Since last 14th month. so any one can help me to solve this issue. And not only me is suffering there are so many people are suffering every day due to this, because this is the only bus goes on that root from Tv center.

sir why these complaints are not being solved because the girl who complaint bhavna chatlani she was one who know how to complaint but hundred of others people like her even myself are facing such problem and driver of buses everytime overlook traffic rules they try to dash bikers who comes from side of road sir plz take action on complaint we hope you can solve our problem

Dear Respected sir,

This is Roni from Bhandup Asian Paints stop. This is to bring to your notice that the bus route no 396 from Andheri, now recently has a halt at Asian Paints.Today i happen to travel by this bus, but the driver bearing batch no 5203 was very rude and did not stop at the mention stop, instead abused me in spite of telling him to stop.Also to add that he was rash driving, was about to gourd a bike rider and smash into an AC bus.
If this happens every time, non of the citizens of this city will never trust BEST transport system.
If he wishes to see the stop please let me know, i will show him.

FREQUENCY OF BUS ROUTE NO 340 FROM GHATKOPAR STATION TO ANDHERI IN MORNING

AFTER SHIFTING OF STOP 340 WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THE FREQUENCY OF THE BUS 340 HAS BECOME VERY BAD.

I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THAT IN MORNING FROM 7.55 AM TO 8.25 AM OR UPTO 8.40 AM THERE IS NO BUSES AT ALL.

AND DURING THAT TIME NEARLY 10/15 TRAINS ARE COMING AND THE CROWD GOES HAYWARE AND BEYOND THE CONTROL OF CONDUCTORS. AFTER SHIFTING OF BUSSTOP.

MY ONLY REQUEST WHY THE FREQUENCY IS NOT THERE SINCE THE BUSES ARE COMING FROM YOUR GHATKOPAR DEPOT AND ENROUTE FROM ANDHERI AND WE UNDER STAND TRAFFIC PROBLEM FOR BUS COMING FROM ANDHERI BUT THERE IS SOME MISMANAGEMENT AND PLANNING FOR NOT MONITORING THE THE OPERATION REQULARITY COMING FROM DEPOT.

MY ONLY REQUEST / FROM GENERAL PUBLIC IS TO PLEASE ENSURE FOR BEST /* GOOD SERVICE IN THIS ROUTE.

B.E.S.T. Undertaking — BEST bus plying towards Andheri not waiting at LION'S CLUB bus stop near Leela

Hello.

BEST bus plying towards Andheri not taking halt at LION'S CLUB bus stop near Leela Hotel even when Stop mentions this bus numbers here. This is case even when buses run vacant and we have to walk towards station for one hour. This is troublesome case for females in rains and scorching heat

AC Bus No 422 is a big time problem these days. The bus is always late by more than 40 minutes everyday. The bus scheduled for 9:10 am arrives at 9:50. Highly irregular service and extremely inconvenience.

Please increase the frequency of 392 bus by 3-4 buses at least during morning and night frm majas depot to vikhroli as there is lots of rush in the morning and we have to wait for the bus for more than half an hour. no bus properly after 8:30 pm from hiranandani gardens

This best stop is after powai vihar as now the bus fly above the bridge and stops at Shipping corporation stop. Please do the needful.
