[Resolved]  Bajaj Highland Holiday Homes — Service not in line with what was offered at the time of salet

Hi,

We received a call stating we have won lucky draw voucher of free 7 days vacation at any of their resorts.
We visited them at the location sited by them which was at Royal challenge Goregaon east.
There we were shown the albums of all the existing locations and upcoming resort like one in GOA which was informed of going to come up by Dec '10.
Their affiliation with a club in navi mumbai and Lonavala was our main reason to invest in this club membership as we could only get weekend offs to spend some time off work and busy schedule worth our child. We got the availability at lonavla center to stay once around July '10, post that when ever we enquired we were informed that it is in renovation either use our resorts in Kodai kanal, mahabali puram etc, or spend excess and go to blue star at lonavla.
This contract is time bound and its been more than a year that the close by locations are either not available or under renovation.
Another concern which was a big one is, till I escalated this concern to the head office address Mr. Pramod Bajaj, all the contact nos mentioned on the website for Jogeshwari office were either out of service or ringing forever.
being in service industry, we are given dialogues like - go to any location available, though we could only go for a weekend.
The amount specified for their affiliate is more than what we need to pay in their own resort, on demanding the same to be borne by the company. They denied it and only kept on saying " we are giving you the service" - I don't know what service did they mean.
If we had to always pay affiliate amount I would have been better off putting money in FD instead of the so called club membership which is not really to become stress free not taken rather causing more stress every time we plan or we wish atleast reach them.
My husband is a high BP patient and suffered a stroke in June, even then we could either not reach them or only get ONE dialogue either use affiliate or go farther locations in our own resort.
It has been a mental harassment since more than a year. the guy sold us this membership stopped answering our calls (Imran)
I only request a fair decision Lonavla resort their or affiliate be made available to us as per their own resort charges on the contract. OR
refund the membership money with interest basics of service like contact details change etc is the least to be updated on the website - this was not done, for I don't know how long. Middle class families are usually the families where most often both parents are working, life is very stressful on all ends and this kind of vacation is looked at as a while of stress buster, which is capitalized by such holiday homes to cheat with people hitting on their emotional and quality time with family aspects.

They claimed their affiliation with RCGB - goa at 3 places, in Nov ' 10 we were told no availability hence we visited Goa and stayed at a different hotel. we did visit RCGB where they informed us that Bajaj Highland has no affiliation with them.
our location on our membership certificate is - Lonavala transferable, this was as we wanted to pre-dominantly take breaks for Lonavala

Hi,

I have become a member of HIGHLAND HOLIDAY HOMES recently and I could read comments on the bad services they are giving. I want to cancel my membership and what can i do to get my money back??
