[Resolved]  Bajaj Pulsar 150 cc — gear slippage and clutch hard

Sir

this is a complaint which I am facing from the day one that my bike's gears slips at 4 th gear oftena and the clutch becomes hard after 500kms from service . I had complained the same to Authorised dealer about 05 times but they just do eye washing job now my bike has covered around 10000kms

pls i want an action on this complaint immediately

Hi,
The same problem is there with my bike i.e. Bajaj Pulsar 150cc. I have reported this to the dealer several times but they do not fix the problem. While riding at 5th gear generally when we are in high speeds the gear automatically slips to the 4th gear and if the clutch not applied at right time could result in a fatal accident.

I PURCHASED NEW BAJAJ PULSAR 150CC UG3 VERSION.FROM THE BEGINING I HAVE THE PROBLEM WITH CLUTCH HARD TO OPERATE & GEAR HARD ENGAGEMENT.FIRST I CANTACTED MY SERICEPROVIDER M/S KALYANI BAJAJ BANGALORE,BUT I WAS NOT SATISFIED BY THEIR SERVICE & RESPONSE.THEY NOT ATTEND MY COMPLAINT & AFTER SERVICE EVEN ONE TIME THEY NOT CALLED BACK.AFTER THAT FOR SECOND SERVICE I LEFT AT M/V VST BAJAJ BANGALORE.BUT THERE ALSO SAME PROBLE & MY PROBLEM IS NOT RECTIFIED.MY VEHICLE IS RUN ONLY 5000KMS NOW.BY THIS TIME ITSELF I GOT FRUSTRATED WITH BAJAJ SERVICE & I REALLY UPSET BY BAJAJ PULSAR....
AFTER GIVING TO SERVICE MY BYKE MILAGE ALSO DRASTICALLY REDUCED FORM 55KMS/LTR TO 35 KM/LTR..

PLEASE GIVE ME THE SOLUTION FOR THIS..

Bajaj Pulsar 150 cc — RED LED IN SPEEDOMETER INDICATOR IS OFF.

In my Pulsar 150cc bike, The Red LED light in side speedometer(engine RPM indicator) dial will not glow. What does this LED light indicate.......? Is there any problem with my vehicle if this LED is off.

I have exactly same problem. Gear shifts automatically at 4 gear. mine is just 2 weeks old. i just notices this around 3-4 times.

aprt from this i have some more problems

There is small drrrrrr sound coming from speedometer section at 4000 RMP.

Problem with Front Disc break, seems there is some bend in the disc. if i spin the wheel freely i can here some hiss hiss sound.

Fuel tank is loose: I can shake the Fuel tank using using hands.

Please let me know what to do. I just approached the showroom guy, (I only told him about disc problem and speedometer problem as i didnt knew other problems.

please let me know how to get it fixes? or whom to approach.

I have also a great problem with the gear of this bike. First of all gear is tight and its diffcult to change the gear. Secondly my gear box sometimes gets stuck at 4th gear and the automatically shifts to lower gear. What is this bajaj???????????????????? How can i fix this problem...i thing i realized is that do not buy bajaj bike becoz they don't care about our problems.
hi my bike is 150cc 2006 model and my speedometer is not working due to the damage of metergear so but im unable to get it in the market since 6months ...kindly can u tell me where and when can u providethe meter gear2g2/vg2...in the market.

I am purchase in bike 26 jun 2010. after one month i face to one problem speedo metter is not working. I visit to near service center their staff was saying meter cable is not working. This item is not warrenty you paid full cash so complaint to you please take favourable action please.
hey guys i am also facing the same problem. when i in 5th gear it automatically slip to 4th gear. i buy my pulsar last feb 12
I too have the same problem. Mine is very new bike. just one month over. after 1st service. that has become even worser. gear slips from 2nd to fourth with great noise
mine is a new bike after giving for service the bike is performing very badly..and the fun part is service people are busy in doing teflon coating...and without our concern adding the addictives to the engine oil...so plz dont give your bike for khivraj indiranagar
No such problem with UG4.5 version i bought 150cc in sept 2010 and ran upto 15000km till now bike runs smoothly with no vibration even @ 130km speed.. with giving whoomping mileage of 56kmpl on highway and 48kmpl in city no gear, clutch and engine problems.. i think its all depends on how rode first 1000km..and regular servicing.. i love it & enjoying the long rides..
same problem... mine shifts without using clutch !! n if rev little quicker n changed gears faster it falls back automatically .. !!

Bajaj Pulsar 150 cc — starting missing

i am not satisfied for your service i am from chandigarh and i have purchase your company bajaj pulsar but in purchase time within 3months it gave the missing problme . i was checked also in your services center but not fix this the you say what i am do .
I have a complain against Bajaj Popular Motors, After 550Km i gave them my 150cc DTSi Pulsar for Ist service but after servicing i felt some rattling sound even when bike is in neutral with clutch engaged.

I found that Bike started give some cacophonous sound whenever clutch is engaged.

I will not take 2 left free services from them for sure. How Bajaj is doing there business even with so many customers dissatisfaction.

Few weeks a ago, I changed set of old clutch plate with new one. After changing the clutch, bike showed it's performance like a new one.But after running 200 KM, it gradually started to loose pickup. I complained to the workshop, and it again they fixed the same clutch plate. Again, the bike ran smoothly for few Kilometers and started to loose it's pickup. According to the service provider, the condition of the new clutch plate i is excellent. He also couldn't find out the problem.
So can you give me advice what should I do?
In my bike which is a 2013 model pulsar 150 UG IV, from the first service onwards I was complaining about the gear shifting hardness and the chain sound at the rear and all went in vain and the service centre personnel doesn't seem to mind anything about out complaints. My bike has crossed 21K kms and I'm not sure who will be able to rectify this problem. It is very hard to use the bike in city traffics. Shifting from top to down becomes very hard and i feel as if I'm drilling through a brick when I shift the gears down. Only Bajaj has to answer for all these questions and compliants.
I have pulsar 180 my engine becomes over heat when I ride few kilometers itself...what should I do for this??
I have Hero Passion Pro 11 months old bike but I wanted to shift to Bajaj Pulsar 150 dtsi but to my surprise when I test ride the bike three times I was shocked to see that gear shifting is huge messed up by Bajaj. I wasn't able to shift gear smoothly. Also the body posture is we hve to lean forward which is awkard position to ride and the gears are also very back ie not in center where we hve to place our leg in backward position which is pathetic. After the test ride I was happy that I didn't buy pulsar bcuz it has really messed up with its gears which will be a huge problem while riding in city traffics. Bajaj i[censored] really care about ur customers then rectify this problem.
