[Resolved]  Blackberry — Service Centre

I have a airtel blackberry set 8310. The display of the same is not working. I asked the customer service on [protected] that this is the problem on 1st oct 2008 at 8:00p.m.. So the prompt reply was please take it to customer care. i was given 2 addresses of Authorized Customer care centres in Delhi - one in South ex and one in NOIDA. Since I live in Patparganj, Airtel Blackberry Centre, Shop no. 225, Shoprix Mall, Sector-61, NOIDA, was nearer. I was told a time of 10am-6pm as working hrs. I reached the centre at 10.25 AM on 3rd Oct 2008. There was no one at blackberry complaint desk. The Airtel people say the concerned people will come at 11. I reconfirm after 20 minutes, they say Mr. Shiraz at Airtel Blackberry Centre was on leave and someone else would come at 11.25. At 11.25 on inquiring that no one has come, they say Blackberry dept is on not working till Monday i.e 6th Oct 2008, after, e waiting for 1 hour. Still no one at the desk. I had called customer care at 10:35 to complain that no one was at thed esk, they refuse to take a complaint and have no clue as to who would be the responsible person to reply. they say, its the service centre people only. Net of net, after a 1 hr to and fro drive and 1 hr of waiting, my net result is zero with no one to complain to. This is blackberry service? Where do the consumers go? what can they do? Airtel is cash rich on base of its customers- customers who can do nothing about their plight and there is no central body to take up their issues. This is INDIA

Blackberry — faulty piece

numbers are not press , phone doesnt get locked , many other features are not working so want a replacement for the same...i bought it 2 mnths back

I have a blackberry phone kind: BB 9300 Black, Serial no. : [protected] # SR: 1-[protected] from Vodafone store el margane street Cairo Egypt in 28/4/2011. In 15/8/2011 I discovered that the mobile software have serious problems. As a result I contacted Vodafone’s customer service 19/8/2011 and they took it and said that will be fixed within ten days. Two days later they contacted me to inform me that the screen should be changed, so I agreed as the mobile is still in its guarantee period. But one of the maintenance stuff contacts me in a humiliating way and insisted that I must pay for fixing the mobile. So really I am a astonished as how come the customer service in a well known company as blackberry and Vodafone deal with the customers in that way and with no care at all. I have sent this mail in order to solution for that problem.

I had bought blackberry9105 bearing sl. no. [protected] on 12th april, 2011 from dealer
M/s. Sri Sai Infocom, S.P. Road, Bangalore-560 002.
The Problem:- The phone fell down from my desk.
The Result:- Data was erased. Phone went dead.
Our Action:- We went to dealer to complaint and get the problem rectified but he refused to do anything
with our complaint. Then we reached blackberry service centre M/s.Fine One Solutions, jayanagar,
Bangalore. We are issued a customer unit receipt bearing work order no.FFS/BB/11/00647 dt 24/8/11.
I was surprised to read under physical condition of phone when received as WATER LOGGED. It's a
blatant lie and excuse to get rid of responsibility. And no measure to retrieve the data.
Our grievence:- Can an instrument fall once from one mtr height and go dead like this. Why blackberry
should not replace the same and also retrieve the data at it's cost. Why after sales service network
is trying to cheat by srugging off the responsibility.Should not a brand like blackberry replace the full

blackberry 9700 bold — 1 mm spot on screen

I'm use bb 9700 bold , my hand set give me some problem ,not connect on pc and 1mm spot show on screen , my hand set under warn ty ,I'm go near blackberry service center(media house ) sanjay place agra. But service center executive not check my hand set, sir my complaint noted

service center never keep the battery when a phone is given for repair. It seems they cheated you.. but there is no way out as the battery does not contain any number for tracking. be cautious in future.

Blackberry — Non delivery of free accessories as per scheme

Blackberry — damaged handset

i had purchased blackberry 9300 on 11 march 2011 from Blackberry showroom Go Digital at Marinelines .While purchasing they
had given me a warranty of 18 months and i was happy as i was paying extra then other showroom prices for the extra warranty period
.Now in September my track pad stopped working and i submitted my handset on 20 th september 2011 there..inspite of my
regular follow up with showroom ,they said they have not received any report from Redington india ltd .finally on 10 sept
,i:e after 20 days after my calling them again they said they have received a report from Redington ltd tht there is water
Damage and handset cannot be repaired .I was shocked as there was no contact of my handset with water .when i went to
take my handset back i was shocked to see that there was no display also and i complained the showroom people about it .
they agreed on keeping the handset and sending it back to Redington Ltd as they had given me the receipt that when they
had received the handset from me only my hanset trackpad was not working and it was totally in working condition
.Now i realised that Redington Ltd have damaged my handset
i am so upset with big companies like blackberry and Redington and showroom people for the service i have received ...
P.S On top of all this i was charged 180 rs for getting my handset back from redington..which i have not received till
today i:e 1 november 2011 its a shameful way of fooling a customer !!!!

vrry 3rd class services blackberry providing us...in their store pune ( shivaji nagar) employees are totaly illitrate(angootha chaap)...they don, t know how to make relation with customer and how to deal with them...even they don, t know the spelling of MIC they wrote "MIKE PRBLM" in job sheet of my device...fckngbrry...i hav bought my phone 9810(bold4) on 2 of nov and aftr 5-6 day on 8 nov device started prblm like---hang, mic not respondind, speakers nt wrkng, display light movng up-down like CRT screen...and all the prblms were not stable...smtimes it happens 4-5 times in day smtimes device works well...i hav informed all the time to customer care when i got prblm in device...they suggest me go to the nearest service center where you are...they, ll issue any certificate to you and you can exchange your device...aftrthn i went their...i full-fill all the formalities...then their employee told me that we, ll keep your mobile here for 2 days and we, ll check it that prblms are existing or not...so my prblm is --as i mentioned tht prblms are not stable...smtimes device work well...so how they'll caught prblm in during 2 days if device work well...and 2nd prblm is-----blacberry should provide any literate and smart representative at their service center who can understand tht why someone claim for prblm in their device when he or she bought it 8-10 days ago...what they think --.

and one more intersting thing---they said if we found prblm in device..we, ll issue certificate and you have to surrender your device from where you bought it and aftrthn they'll provide new one...i bought it from lucknow and now i am in pune and my exams are on my head
so how it is possible to go their and collect new device...and shopkeeper said that when you'll submit your device, then we, ll surrender it to blackberry, s office and after 1 week they, ll issue new one...then we can provide you...

this is the fastest service of blacberry in 21st century...my biggest fault that i have gone for blacberry mobile...

now a days if you bought any branded underwear from anywhere...and you found any fault like colur faintness...then you can change it from anywhere at their store if you have bill...this is called service...and that illitrate employee told me you have to go their to collect new device...you have no choice, we can, nt do anything...suppose if i go lucknow (1500km frm pune) to change my device, then the fair of 1 side of train is 1600 it means for both side i have to pay 3200Rs...after then i hav to wait their for 1 week for which i have to pay 1500 Rs daily for hotel except food...so i have to pay 10500Rs for hotel...so my total expense for exchange my phone is around[protected]...so my qestion to blacberry services that who, ll pay it...they should make little more pressure on their mind, when they make this type of 3rd class policies and rules for coustmers...

I purchased a recently launched model BB Torch 9860 in Oct, 2011 in Hyderabad from Sangeetha Mobiles, Banjara Hills. In past months, I have got this phone replaced 4 times and still Redington is not able to solve my problem. I am still facing the same issue. Sometimes when I make or receive calls, there is no voice or alert and call gets connected. To solve this issue, I always need to take out my battery and sim and then restart my phone. Redington ppl have tried every experiement on my phone with software upgrade and what not. Now again when I visit their center they are ready to replace my set with the same model and not any other model. Their service person tells me to replace the model but their executives are not willing to. The dealer is also not willing to give me any set for the replacement apart from 9860. He is also trying to increase his sale by making me buy a more expensive set than for what I paid. I have already spent more than 26K for this model and I am not going to spend even a single penny more. The way Redington people behave is totally unprofessional. They make me look like I have wasted my money and this is my duty to visit their center and spend half of my day every time I visit their center. Is Blackberry concerned about their customers or just trying to sell whatever they can. If this is the service level, then I believe it is going to loose a large chunk of its market. The most pathetic part about Blackberry is that we cant reach them by any means. It has to be only via Redington. No email or contact number on its website for any complaints.
