[Resolved]  Bluedart Express — Refusal for delivering courier and usage of foul language

To Blue dart

This is regarding refusal of delivering credit card and usage of abusive language by the courier delivery executive of blue dart.

Primafacia - The executive called on phone for delivering the credit card.he fixed up the time 12.pm and then arrived late on 25th december.1.45 pm
he called on phone and said that he arrived at the address and nobody was there where as in actual he did'nt come there and then the call made was from my side that still waiting for collection of the card.
finally, the person came with the delivery package and used abusive language when asked for the delay and refused to deliver the package(credit card) sent from barclays bank.
in the mean time he collected the pan card and wrote the pan card number on his receipt book and then went away with the card.
he even said that the courier will not be delivered and what so ever action i want to take i may do that and now in no body can get that parcel delivered at my address.

If this blue dart employees will do...then i don't think that anybody will be interested in getting services from blue dart.

I am sorry to say with this experience i will never ever use blue dart services.

second concern is the collection of credit card any how that bank has to see how they will get me that courier delivered.

I also have the same experience. Statement is not getting in time and then they are starting late fees.
Bluedart didn't deliver my courier on time inspite of 47 calls in a single day, It was just lying in pune itself. Khadkee office to be precise. They gave me the number of the delivery guy, which also got switched off after I called it up like a 1000 times. I wanted the courier delivered ASAP

There seems to be a lack of responsiveness from Blue Dart Bangalore.A cover from Share khan was sent on 27th Nov 2009 and it seems they have delivered it to one Mr Subra (whom I do not even know) on the 28th Nov 2009.I called up to Blue Dart on 1st Dec citing that I have not received the cover-they said that they would call by 1st Dec evening-the same did not happen.I called up again on 2nd Dec 2009 and told the complaint again.Have put a mail and yet to receive a response from them again.
They seriously lack a sense of Professionalism and timely responsiveness-they seem to have royally goofed up and are shying from admitting it.Really pathetic .

Anyway, I had placed an order for Educational CDs from LearnNext, on COD (Cash On Delivery) basis. The amount was Rs. 1, 998/- I was informed by the organisation that teh parcel will be delivered at home with in 4 working days. This was on around first week of December. The Courier guy of Blue Dart had come to TISS in Mumbai ( I saty inside the Campus andmy wife works in TISS) and went off without delivering the parcel. He had given Mr. Rupesh (incharge) mobile number [protected] and asked the Security Guard to inform me to contact him on phone. It was at around 10 PM on 15th December. Immediately I called Mr. Rupesh and hios reply was I have not gone to office and I will go to office tomorrow(16th) and call you from there.

He did not call me. I called hin on 17th and he said he will call me within half an hour. Which he did not do. After two days again I calle dhim and he said I am on leave and i will call you back. Once again he did not call me. Again I calle dhim today on his mobile and the moment I called him and told my name and the location he cut the call. Called him once again and he didi not take the call. Got his office land line number and with reluctance he came on the line and tells me that no one at home might have been available and that may be the reason the parcel was not delivered. I explained to him my wife was there always. He said may be you have presented credit card. I know when someone asks for Cash on delivery cannot present a credit card, moreover I don't have a credit card. Also I have to explaine him COD means Cash ON Delivery and my wife carried money for this purpose. He says I have to contact the party who had sent the parcel to send it once again. I have not received any information from the company that my parcel has been returned undelivered. Is this how you operate ca courir business? Are people like Mr. Rupesh going to further the business interest of teh company. Interestingly, Blue Dart is the courier company approved for courier service by TATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES. God Save them and those who use the servioce of this company. I am not going to recomend this organisation.

Even I faced the same problem. The Blue dart guy said to call their Sanpada office if I want to receieve my card, but when i called the number was coming busy and when it finally rang, nobody bothered to pick it up. Sshame on BLue dart

This is inform you that cerdit card courier dispatched by HDFC bank has not yet delivered. This courier was dispatched by HDFC on 15/1/2010. The AWB number is #[protected]. The courier person called me on monday continously when i was in meeting. Today 20/1/2010 courier person came to office without calling and informing me in advance. My mobile number is already indicated on the envelope. As this is credit card my sign is required i have been waiting for this. The courier person didn't even had the knowledge to call me on my mobile from his number. I am waiting in office for last 2 days postponing all my works for the courier and you are making delayed. This is not the kind of service we are expecting.

Bluedart Express — Without Telephone/Mobile Not delivered a Shipment.

On time of Delivered a shipment insist to give Mobile No for delivery of refund cheque of 2/3 annuity was sent to me on 20-Jan-10 by Blue Dart courier via AWB [protected]. This was sent by Kotak Life Insurance. Is Mobile No. and Telephone No is mandatory.

BLUE DART, particularly Belapur service is very worst than in anyother couries services. I am totally disappointed with this courier services. I dont know why bankers & companies are still believing in BLUE DART services. They are commit one time and reaching one time, and keep the courier themself and return it to the source. I dont think the users are receiving couriers through blue dart, this is happening alway.

Blue dart courier company — Non Receipt of Credit Card

I requested for redespatch of my expired credit card about 15 days back at your 24 hurs callcentre. I was informed through SMS on 8 April 2010 that the card had been despatched through blue dart courier vide no [protected] on 5.4.2010 by the bank. But I regret to inform that the same has not been received till date though I had contacted your call centre five times and each time I was assured that the same shall be received in a day or two.It is really a deploreable state of banks working.I am a classic customer of your bank and my customer ID is 3440764.I have every apprehension of the card being misused.
I am also facing the same problem.My HDFC Bank card was returned saying consignee has shifted. On my request HDFC Bank again dispatched it.This time they have returned saying address is not correct.

I had the bitter experience with Blue Dart Courier every time. I work for a company and the timing is 9AM to 5 PM. When ever the courier comes to me from Blue Dart their demand is I have to receive in person and will not be delivered to other persons even with proofs. How is it possible to sit in the house just receive the courier having lots of engagements in the office. They dont thing practically. Blindly they stick on to the rules will not help the customers. More to this will create lots of inconvenience to the publics those who are using Blue Dart Courier service.
Most of the banks use Blue Dart Courier, but they dont realize the difficulties fo the customers they face in receiving the documents.
The delivery persons are not from the local origin to know the locations, landmarks, even the directions like North and South of the places. We have to explain them a lot and even they are not in a position to locate the address.
In the office at Coimbatore they are having many phone connections but all are engaged all the time and we loose our patience in contacting the office. There is is only one person for attending the phone and also for booking the new courier. They put the phone in hold with out knowing the cost of each minute and our precious time. They should employ more persons exclusively for attending the phone and to give proper response.
This is the problem of renowned big Blue Dart Courier not only in Coimbatore and every where in India. But the charges are number one compared to other courier services. Rates are high but the service is rock bottom low.
