ac not working and it's been 17 days since I complained

Carrier - Worst AC company
Clearly the worst customer care ever - Lagged the complaint on 13/mar , they did a shabby job after 1 week and made it worse ... 17 days since .... no action taken ( comp# chn0734) .
am calling every day - they say its escalated and will be resolved... buggers are taking no action.
worst of all they keep saying the std line we assure u best of service.. which is all the more irritating. No mgr is available on the customer care floor and reps are unwilling to transfer to them.
don;t buy this or even take it if they give it free .... its a pandoras box and will spoil your hapiness.

NOT GETTING AFTER SALE SERVICE DESPITE OF REPEATED COMPLAINTS

I had purchased an Carrier Split AC in the month of September 2009 and on 24/03/10 i logged a complain on 24/03/10 vide complain No. KOL1159 when i was told that people will visit by place the next day, which they did visit and after inspection they said that some gas needs to be refilled which they will do it on the next day 25/03/10 and they left, but that next day never came. On 27/03/10 when i called them up in the morning they said that the service people has given them a report that the work was done so they have closed the call, when i told them that the work was not done the lady who receives the call at[protected] said that they will send the people that day only and the work will be done, but then also the work was not done. Today, 29/0310 when i agian called up the same number they said that the people will go down to my place between 2 - 3 PM but when i gave them a call at 3.45 to enquire they said that the will go but they can't confirm the time.
My concern is that if a company like Carrier gives this kind of service then i just wonder that will happen to all the people who has purchased carrier products. I am really furstrated and harrased by the Carrier compnay for which i had no other option then to write to you with the hope that my harrassement will be brought to an end and proper action will be take against the worthless people who are sitting there in the service centre

on 10th april i had purchase a brand new career aircondition from harie marketing ghaziabad & from the date of purchase i am getting problem in that
1.my installation has not done propally
2.demo is not given to me till today & i dont know the functions how to use.
3.now from 2 or 3 days back their is leakage of water from the front inside .
sir now i am fed up of getting problems like that so i want my should be replaced oa new one or refund my money.

our AC was not cooling so we registered a complaint with carrier customer care on saterday 26 june'10. Next day i.e on 27 june sunday the technicians came from the JANAK PURI SERVICE CENTER of CARRIER and said the AC was low on gas and that we will take it tomorrow.I said you take it today but they said NO WE WILL TAKE IT TOMORROW.On monday they came and said we will get it back on TUESDAY. On tuesday when I called in the morning they said they had not even started reparing our AC and that they will deliver it on WEDNESDAY at 1pm. When I called them on wednesday they said there is some problem with the coil and that we will deliver it around 3 pm. Then they said it will be delivered around 6pm. At 6pm I AGAIN called them and spoke to someone named VIMLA, firstly she did not have manners to speak then she said that AC will come tommrow.then i spoke to the manager of the service station Mr Mohanlal he also did not have any manners and when I said that I will complaint then he said that FIRST U COMPLAINT THEN ONLY WE WILL START REPAIRING YOUR AC. He was not even giving me the complaint number of carrier. And the same service center had serviced our AC on 16th june.Our AC is under AMC and on 16th of june when they came for servicing they did not tell us that the coil was defective but when they took the AC for filling the gas then suddenly there is some problem with the coil.and they are asking us to pay Rs 3500. By doing all this these people are CHEATING AND HARASSING us. Please do something about this asap

CASSETTE AC — LEAKAGE OF WATER SINCE NEW INSTALLATION
I purchased Carrirer CASSET 1.5 TON A.C. from M/s. DURGA ENTERPRISES IN 2009 & am suffering since then due to poor installation. The problem is, that they only come at their suitable time & IAM AWAY FROM OFFICE , when they come. They do it their way AND PROBLEM STILL ARISE .There has been a constant water leakage problem since then & have called CARRIER end number of times (almost 50-100 times) since then. Carrier technicians told me that it was a BAD installation by their dealer Airconditioning Centre, but the dealer didn't admit it.
Since then, I have ben calling Carrier on regular basis, their technicians visiting my OFFICE , doing this & that, but the problem is persistant & so are my calls to Carrier & mY TABLE AND COMPUTERS & the A.C. both are spoiling-up.
One year passed-by doing all thiS. I repeated the problem to them once again & they serviced my A.C. & the waterproblem stopped for few days AND THEN AGAIN STARTED
I lodged complaints several times, engineer from Carrier also visited several times & finally asking me again for a re-installation of the indoor unit. They fixed it yesterday again & the problem has aggrevated now.
Now the water is falling from more places, alignment is poorer than earlier. But to my utter surprise, the contractor sent by Carrier, spared no effort , .
I just want to understand have I committed a crime by purchasing a Carrier machine. I would have been at much comfortable position, had I bought a local machine, as I would have been to nab the vendor & that vendor would have also come at a time suitable to me & these type of problems would never have arised, as I could have checked the installation done by him.
I SINCERELY NOT RECOMMEND CARRIER TO ANYBODY, AS THEIR AFTER-SALES IS A HELL. MY REGULAR ELECTRONICS VENDOR HAD WARNED ME OF THIS & RATHER RECOMMENDED ME LG/SAMSUNG/HITACHI, WHO HAVE A MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION LEVEL, COMPARED TO CARRIER.
I would have never suffered, had I listened to his sincere advice, as all my other electrnic equipments have never given me any pain till now
PLEASE ADVISE WHAT TO DO NOW URGENTLY

Pathetic After Sales Service

Hi,
I had purchased a AC from Carrier in August 2007. Although they have never been prompt on their after sales service but this time the situation is worst and infact its a malpractice from the company side. Firstly i put a request to the company for service of my AC on 26th March 2009 and i was informed that the technician would visit within 24 hours. Later i enquired from the company after 24 hours about the reason for no response then i was given a blunt answer that the time mentioned was 24 working hours rather than just 24 hours. Today infact the 24 working hours are about to expire but after several follow ups i have just one answer from the company that a fresh work order has been booked on todays date and if someine dosen't turn up then i need to give a fresh call again. Its a really painfull experience as i had to delay all my scheduls just to wait for a response from the company side when they are already charging double the amount (Rs 500 instead of Rs 250 as compared with other companies).

i HAVE PURCHASED WINDOW 1.5 TON DURAKOOL AC FROM SAMARAAT ELECTRONICS RAIPUR, CHHATTISHGARH IN THE YEAR 2009. ONE MONTH AGO THE BEARING & BUSHES OF MOTOR WAS REPLACED AND CHARGED RS.800. AFTER ONE MONTH SAME PROBLEM REPEATED. SAMARAAT ELECTRONICS AFTER CHECING SAID THAT THE BUSHES ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE FULL MOTOR. HE CLAIMED THAT THIS IS THE COMPANY RECOMMENDATIONS.
PL CLARIFY THAT WHETHER THE CARRIER RECOMMENDS THAT IF THE BUSH IS FAULTY THEN WHOLE MOTOR NEEDS REPLACAMENT.

Worst service given by carrier company. I have lodged complain 10 days back with reg no. [protected] and following up daily since then and compressor also delivered but engineer is not having time to visit and fix the issue. Mr noor alam the superviser lookin into the district etah is also ignorant and not picking up the phone.
Carrier executives take some action or your brand image is in danger.
I suggest everyone to avoid such brands.

I purchased carrier Durakool AC of 1.5 ton in the month of Feb 2008.I started using it in march 2008 but it was not working.Even after several complains in carrier AC call center no technician had visite my home and rectify my problem.
It seems that i did a mistake by purchasing carrier AC.

I purchased carrier Durakool AC of 1.5 ton in the month of May 2008.We are also facing some problem . we raised several complaints stating that we couldnot use it. but none turned up from the customer service. Very poor customer service. i will not recommend for any one about carrier product.

I purchased a Carrier Durakool AC with remote of 1.00 ton capacity, model : WCARS12FE, SL. NO.: 51CH3RACCAR12KHE-CO71C-0060027, at 11, Jun 2007. After few month I found that it's remote sensing unit was not working. I raised severel complaints to dealer M/S Bery Electronics, 5, Mishra Building Station Road Sitapur. Dealer has informed to Carrier AC call center and he send the damaged unit to carrier service center for replacement but they have not replaced it.
Before two days a service person Mr. Ashish called me on my mobile No.-[protected] from a basic phone No.[protected] on dated[protected] and he informed me that this time AC is out of warranty and it can not be replaced.
I have decided to go Upbhokta Forum for replacement of this AC and I think the Carrier products should not be recommend to others.

It blunder buying anything from carrier, i wonder how offices are using their product, shame to this company, i hv not seen so unskilled staff in any support service ever
I purchased a Carrier AC with remote of 1.00 ton capacity (Gen X2 Model), model : GWRAC018X2001, SL. NO.:[protected], 03rd, May 2008, but it stopped cooling within ten days of its installation.Immediately i complained to my local dealer.Service man found leaks at 2-3 places in cooling tube.I contacted to Regional Manager and told the whole story.He assured me that my defective AC will be replaced very soon.But my defective AC has not been relaced till this date and now they are refusing to replace it.They are mentally harrasing me on my mobile.

Carrier Durakool AC — Fault not getting rectified on time
I would like to bring to notice of all consumers that I had bought a Carrier Durakool AC in month of January 2008 and till today I have not received a single service from the company the commitment was made while buying that I will receive 4 services for one year at every quarter. Also I am facing a problem in my AC about which I have placed a complain on 26th August 2008, till today not a single technician has turned up to rectify the same.I strongly suggest not to buy Carrier AC for Home and office. I have Ogeneral which is performing very good and no complains till today. I am using this AC for past 3 years.

I hve purchased Carrier Split AC 1.5 Ton, Duracool Model from Croma Shoping center on Dt: 2nd Apr 09 & today is 9th Apr 09 after 7 days also any techeinician has not turnedup for the site survey / installation. even proactiely i am calling call centers & finding service center details near dombivali through net. But thye don;t have any intimation / call for the installation.
I never expected this type service from Croma / Carrier. There should be provision for returning the AC's with full money back if they don;t give service on time...

I have seen samsung team visiting their customer in residential apartments for a coutesy too but carrier will be loosing more clients if these carries on

Carrier 1.5 Ton Split AC — Post Sales Service.
Hello,I have purchased a Carrier 1.5 Ton Split AC on 2006. This year, it has started showing some problem, I have purchased the same from KD Audio Vision, Sector - 16, Noida. They have given me the service center's contact details. I got in touch with the service station almost 15 days back. They promised me they will send some technician to fix the problem.
After 2..3 days, 2 technician have visited my house, but they were not able to analyse the issue.
After 2 days, 2 other people came to me and they found the fault which was basically with the power supply unit located inside the exhaust unit. It was so simple..I was wondering how the first 2 people are not able to catch such a basic issue.
Then they told me that they are going to replace the same parts. They have taken the damaged unit (they call the part contactor) and promised that they will be replacing the same within 2 days MAX. But since then, they vanished away.
I am daily calling to the Service Center and they are all giving me FALSE explanation/ assurance. 2 days back they said that they got the contactor and will fix it ASAP. But they did not turn up. When today morning I have called those people, they have told me they are yet to receive the contactor. They have started cheating once again showing some X...Y...Z issues.
I am really frustrated out of this.

Unfortunately I have installed two nos of ACs of the company.

Dear Sir,
I am customer of your window AC's. I would like to draw your kind attention towards the problems faced by us regarding the service. I purchased two window AC’s from your dealer Sierra Appliances, Noida in 2004. I tried a lot and managed to get the AMC for these two AC’s done. It is really difficult to get the AMC for your AC’s as none of your dealers are ready to do it at a cost which is offered or told by the carrier. They ask for prices of their choice & pursue customer for AMC under their individual banner & not in Carriers favour. They justification is that carrier has no role & it takes 25% share of the charges & passes 75% to them & service is to be provided by them. I checked the same with 3 dealers (Sierra appliances, Climate Control & Star Enterprises) & they all had different charges. Even your call centre didn’t help. They say that whatever the charges are told by dealer is to be paid as company can’t take it directly without any dealer. Finally I was compelled to give AMC to your call centre recommended franchise M/s Star Enterprises, Noida at charges of their choice in Sep 2008. I paid Rs. 2475/- per AC in place of 1650/- which is to be paid as per carrier during first 5 years when compressor is under warranty.
The AC had problem in the beginning of this season. I made a complaint at your call centre in 16 March 09 (Complaint No.DEL 983). The AC was repaired & delivered to me but it didn’t work properly. I complained to M/s star enterprises but of no response. Then I again registered a complaint with your call centre on 03/04/09 (Complaint No. DEL195). But in spite of several reminders no body attended the complaint. Finally rep of star enterprises came on 11/04/09 & the biggest manipulation at your call centre is that they showed in their records that AC was rectified agst my last complaint & wrote a fresh complaint on 11.04.09 the show there is no delay in service. The AC was taken by star enterprise on 11/04/09 and has not yet been delivered back to us. Surprisingly I was told that the Compressor, Cooling coil, Condenser coil are to be replaced & nothing is covered under AMC. I was told that 2575/- I paid for AMC are the charges for first 5 years & compressor is not covered in it. Then I gave the copy of the bill as even 5 years had not lapsed. He then agreed after he took clearance from Carrier to replace compressor free of cost & told me that I will have to pay 6500/- for cooling & condenser coil. The charges were on the higher side & I checked with 2 other dealers that these charges are inclusive of GAS Filling & labour charges. Mr. J.P Sharma of Star Enterprises didn’t accept it. I called up Mr. Gulshan Thakkar & he said he had no idea about the prices & can’t do anything about it, and then I got in touch with Mr.Madan Rana of M/s Total line, Gzb to confirm the prices. The prices I was told is Rs. 1750/- for cooling coil & Rs. 2580/- for condenser coil. In spite of all perusal Mr. JP Sharma didn’t agreed to the charges. I had no choice & accepted his rate of Rs.6500/-. But in spite of all exercise I have not yet received my AC back. Mr. J.P. Sharma doesn’t pick up his mobile now or give lame excuses. Three days passed but nothing moved & I contacted Mr. Rajesh Tomar on 25.04.09. He assured me of prompt service & even had a word to service Engineer Mr. satish on conference to go to star enterprises and resolve the issue. I received a call from Mr. Satish at night telling that he couldn’t go to star enterprises but he had a word with Mr. J.P. Sharma & go to them tomorrow morning & will let me know the exact status by lunch tomorrow. I didn’t receive any call till evening & he said he couldn’t manage to go to them when I called him.
My idea of writing the whole story is to highlight to you the problems that are faced by your customers. I have been so irritated by the way Carrier & its franchise handles its customer. The feeling that I have made the right decision by buying carrier product vanished with this experience of your service back up. Carrier provides poor service at exorbitantly high prices that too not on time. I was compelled to buy a LG AC to replace yours. When I told that to your Engineer Mr. Satish, his instant response was that we have gone for an inferior product & that our’s is a MNC. But when I asked him how he justifies my staying without AC for nearly a month due to your service problem, Spending Rs.9000/- on maintenance under your product AMC, Improper response of your staff & franchisee, manipulation at all levels of your system, he had no answer. I have two more AC’s of LG and pay Rs. 1595/- per year for AMC & it includes everything. Their service is prompt & moreover they have transparency. Charges are printed overleaf their bill & you check with any dealer & you will be told the same cost. So Pl let me know which will you call customer friendly & what will somebody do with your world class products (as claimed by you) but without proper service. I still believe that this kind of situation by your franchisees can’t be possible without involvement of carrier staff. Beneficiary of all this can’t be only franchisee. Carrier has no control over their franchisee or staff. I believe that neither any action is taken till now against your franchisee for their mal-practices, nor you will take in future. Ultimately its win win situation for both.

Dear Sir,
I am customer of your window AC's. I would like to draw your kind attention towards the problems faced by us regarding the service. I purchased two window AC’s from your dealer Sierra Appliances, Noida in 2004. I tried a lot and managed to get the AMC for these two AC’s done. It is really difficult to get the AMC for your AC’s as none of your dealers are ready to do it at a cost which is offered or told by the carrier. They ask for prices of their choice & pursue customer for AMC under their individual banner & not in Carriers favour. They justification is that carrier has no role & it takes 25% share of the charges & passes 75% to them & service is to be provided by them. I checked the same with 3 dealers (Sierra appliances, Climate Control & Star Enterprises) & they all had different charges. Even your call centre didn’t help. They say that whatever the charges are told by dealer is to be paid as company can’t take it directly without any dealer. Finally I was compelled to give AMC to your call centre recommended franchise M/s Star Enterprises, Noida at charges of their choice in Sep 2008. I paid Rs. 2475/- per AC in place of 1650/- which is to be paid as per carrier during first 5 years when compressor is under warranty.
The AC had problem in the beginning of this season. I made a complaint at your call centre in 16 March 09 (Complaint No.DEL 983). The AC was repaired & delivered to me but it didn’t work properly. I complained to M/s star enterprises but of no response. Then I again registered a complaint with your call centre on 03/04/09 (Complaint No. DEL195). But in spite of several reminders no body attended the complaint. Finally rep of star enterprises came on 11/04/09 & the biggest manipulation at your call centre is that they showed in their records that AC was rectified agst my last complaint & wrote a fresh complaint on 11.04.09 the show there is no delay in service. The AC was taken by star enterprise on 11/04/09 and has not yet been delivered back to us. Surprisingly I was told that the Compressor, Cooling coil, Condenser coil are to be replaced & nothing is covered under AMC. I was told that 2575/- I paid for AMC are the charges for first 5 years & compressor is not covered in it. Then I gave the copy of the bill as even 5 years had not lapsed. He then agreed after he took clearance from Carrier to replace compressor free of cost & told me that I will have to pay 6500/- for cooling & condenser coil. The charges were on the higher side & I checked with 2 other dealers that these charges are inclusive of GAS Filling & labour charges. Mr. J.P Sharma of Star Enterprises didn’t accept it. I called up Mr. Gulshan Thakkar & he said he had no idea about the prices & can’t do anything about it, and then I got in touch with Mr.Madan Rana of M/s Total line, Gzb to confirm the prices. The prices I was told is Rs. 1750/- for cooling coil & Rs. 2580/- for condenser coil. In spite of all perusal Mr. JP Sharma didn’t agreed to the charges. I had no choice & accepted his rate of Rs.6500/-. But in spite of all exercise I have not yet received my AC back. Mr. J.P. Sharma doesn’t pick up his mobile now or give lame excuses. It seems that I am joining the club. Carrier is a mistake. It's Deaers are also seeminglymade for each other - I mean carrier and their dealers. A bad shake up is needed.

After several complains to the delear appointed by you i.e.TRUPTI AGENCIES, Berhampur, Orissa had sent the technicians & they ask to replace the stabiliser. I did that also but till now it is not working. And very sorry to say you that the delear had taken the manual & the warranty card with him when he visited first time to my office. Whenever I asked for the same he just ignored to give those documents. I doubt that your company has any rights to take action against him or not.I will be happy if somebody will come to my office and see that wheather it is your product or not. Hope you could get it. I purchased carrier a/c 2 years back and this year it is not working properly. I contacted customer care several times, but they are always saying we will send someone with 3 working days. It is already more than 8 days and nobody contacted me and on top of that they have closed my complaint by putting comments " House was locked". This is not true and when I had a word with Sr. Manager he also made false promise.

I purchased carrier AC three years ago. There is a problem with the compressor.I called the customer care several times, the customer service is very pathetic. I've been calling them for the past one month, no response from their end.Never ever go for a Carrier AC.I am fed up with carrier technicians.
Carrier AC(estrella 1.5 TON) — No response even after 3 months of followup
Carrier AC, Customer Service Division has not provided me with a DEMO ,even after 3 months of purchase and numerous complaints about cooling problems with the AC.The situation is so bad that i have hardly used my AC and my cooler gives me a bettrer cooling than the AC.
I have already mailed a no. of times and even called up one of their guys who manages the service engineers but still i have not recieved any reponse.
I must say that both the product as well the service provided by Carrier AC's is pathetic and disgraceful and the only way out i see is probably through consumer court.

sir day we bought ac mastero 1.5 is never cut off at marked temperature .they r saying ac is not installd at right place by their enggeniers as we r not satisfied by the piece they have installedcarrier — Poor installation & after sales service
I purchased Carrirer Durakool 1.0 Ton split A.C. from M/s. Airconditioning Centre on 23.04.2009 & am suffering since then due to poor installation. The problem is, that they only come at their suitable time & I am away from home, when they come. They do it their way, as my wife doesn't understand all this.There has been a constant water leakage problem since then & have called CARRIER end number of times (almost 50-100 times) since then. Carrier technicians told me that it was a poor installation by their dealer Airconditioning Centre, but the dealer didn't admit it. Finally I had to pay re-installation charges of Rs. 3,000/- (including the temporary bamboo structure cost for outside unit) to Airconditioning Centre, but thry again came for installation when I was away from Kolkata & could not wait for few days for me to return back & get it done in my presence. I came back to Kolkata just to see the water falling again on my bed (The indoor unit is located just over it), as the installation was poor once again.
Since then, I have ben calling Carrier on regular basis, their technicians visiting my house, doing this & that, but the problem is persistant & so are my calls to Carrier & my mattress & the A.C. both are spoiling-up.
One year passed-by doing all this & Carrier people approached me for the A.M.C. I repeated the problem to them once again & they serviced my A.C. & the waterproblem stopped for few days & the A.M.C. was done. But this time, the problem aggrevated.
Now my A.C. has 2 problems. The new one is Icing problem. The machine works fine during the day time, if the temperature is not set below 20 degree & the water keeps falling. But at night, the water stops falling & Ice-formation starts if the temperature is set below 24 degree. The whole condensor of the inside unit gets covered with ice & the room temperature gets hotter than normal (without A.C.). Ultimately, I have to switch it off.
I lodged complaints several times, engineer from Carrier also visited several times & finally asking me again for a re-installation of the indoor unit. They fixed it yesterday again & the problem has aggrevated now.
Now the water is falling from more places, alignment is poorer than earlier & the ice formation has increased further. But to my utter surprise, the contractor sent by Carrier, spared no effort to insult my wife & me both, as the payment was not done to him instantly after work. He was told that the amount of Rs.700/- for re-installation of indoor unit shall be paid after I check the A.C, after returning home, but he was not ready to listen & he just wanted his money to be paid at any cost. Somehow, he was sent back with a promise to be paid today. He called me up today morning asking for payment. When I asked him to come & see what he had done, he says he can't come now & his money must be paid & he doesn't know any Carrier-Varrier.
I just want to understand have I committed a crime by purchasing a Carrier machine. I would have been at much comfortable position, had I bought a local machine, as I would have been to nab the vendor & that vendor would have also come at a time suitable to me & these type of problems would never have arised, as I could have checked the installation done by him.
I SINCERELY NOT RECOMMEND CARRIER TO ANYBODY, AS THEIR AFTER-SALES IS A HELL. MY REGULAR ELECTRONICS VENDOR HAD WARNED ME OF THIS & RATHER RECOMMENDED ME LG/SAMSUNG/HITACHI, WHO HAVE A MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION LEVEL, COMPARED TO CARRIER.
I would have never suffered, had I listened to his sincere advice, as all my other electrnic equipments have never given me any pain till now.

Carrier Durakool Star 1 T Split Air Conditioner — Delivered in Damaged condition and poor response from the Sales/Service Personnel
Hi,I am a resident of Chennai and I have purchased a Duracool Star 1 Ton Air Conditioner from Ratna Cools Pvt Ltd, Chennai (Bill No. 2907) for this summer. I believed that both the product and the sellers are reputed and will not have any issue further for the after sales support. This is my second Carrier A/c (Previous one I got when I was staying in Mumbai). But unfortunately, the sales and service persons ruined my faith. Though the product is supplied & installed on time. But the installation personnel had found that remote is damaged and they did not update the installation forms properly, however, they have reported that the remote was delivered in damaged condition to the seller and the service persons. But the A/C is currently useless for me. Now when I contacted the service personal, they say it can happen in rare cases, however my loss is 100%. Though they are promising everything, they have not replaced the remote yet. According to them, it will take another 4 days. However, I need to be sufficiently compensated for this delay in servicing the equipment.
I am not expecting this behaviour from a reputed firm like carrier India. At least they should have replaced me in the next day of reporting the complaint. I had a better experience with Carrier in Mumbai and I got every support without even need for follow up.
Request you look in to the matter and concerned service centre and sales centre need to be sufficiently penalised, so that the reputation of the company is maintained.

I purchased Carrier Durakool 1.5 Ton AC on 8th Aug 2010 from Croma store, Pacific Mall, Kaushambi. Last week (Sat. 30th Apr 2011) I requested for the assured free service. First of all, the croma guys do not pick up the phone. After dialling the number[protected] atleast 20-25 times one lady picked the phone. I requested for servicing the AC .. they gave me the service request no. DEL07305 and told that the service will be done within 3 days. Now today, its 7 days gone.. I am calling frm last 4 days, Croma guys are not picking up the phone.. and there is no response from carrier either. This type of service is really pathetic. Please let me know whom to escalate the issue where proper action can be taken against them.

Ref: Our complaint/request No.MUM 2075I have purchased 1t.R carrier split AC from DEW POINT, Dombivli ON 02/05/10.
As per term there are 3 free services, but till today
we availed only one service.
We are again and again contact DEW Point & Carrier

I have purchased the Carrier 1 tonne AC over LG or Samsung or Bluestar with a view that Carrier is the best. I purchased the product on 25June 2010 and to my utmost surprise, after 2 months of operation ( july august of 2010) the AC is dead. DEAD.
People from carrier said that the Motor is dead, what the HELL !! Just 2 months in service and the motor is dead. I am gonna make sure that nobody, I mean nobody who knows me buy a CARRIR AC, and will make sure who even does not know me makes the same mistake. Dear Sir,
I have booked a complaint/Request no. GHZ 709 dated 29.07.11 for not cooling of air-conditioner. In complaint, I mentioned that the compressor was changed appx 2 months back( within the warranty period) and at that time we were told that if there is any problem within 3 months of change of compressor, no charges of any kind will be payable by the customer. However, again the problem came regarding cooling in AC in just with 2 months ( appx.) of change of new compressor.
The person from Service centre namely M/s High cool at sector 66 noida visited on 01.08.11(4th day of complaint) and told that there is no gas as the same may be leaked due to improper work done at the time of change of compressor. The person demanded and took Rs. 500/- as he told that they will not come again for gas filling in case payment is not made. ( Please note that we had paid appx Rs. 3000/- to 3500/- at the time of change of compressor on account of Gas filling and other charges etc.).
However, since 01.08.11 no person visited our place to take care of the problem. The Service centre incharge ( Mr. Aslam) initially told that person will reach your place to resolve problem and then stopped picking our call. We then rang several times at carrier service centre on 03.08.11 and 04.08.11 ( Mr. Deepak, Mr. Hardeep and others) at[protected] but after keeping hold us for hours either the phone disconnected or we were told that
1) that our complaint sent for Escalation
2) we are not able to contact branch office
3) we are not able contact service centre at the no. given by me ( [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected])
We hereby request you to please necessary action with regard to rectification of our problem at the earliest and take necessary action against the concerned service centre for his continuous harrasment in these kind of summers including return o[censored]ndue charges collected by them, if any.
Hope you will understand the concern of your valued customer and do the needful at the earliest.

Dear sir I had purchased a carrier Durakool 1.5 tonneAC from Pinky radios, sector 35, Chandigarh dated 24 July 2011.after 2.5 months my ac fan motor stop working and i have complaint the same in costumer service center[protected], [protected]).they once send the person to check the same and he plug off my fan motor and told me that he replace the motor in next day morning after 4 day day when no response has been come from there side (From Mr.PAWAN ([protected])).Then i talked to there Sr Executive on no [protected].he also not give me any response every time when i m calling to him 80 % they have either not picked up or cut my ph and when they picked they make some excuses.i have even sms them 3 times(on [protected]) but no response come from there end.
If such will be the bad service provide by ur customer care then who will believe in carrier company for future.it is clear that ur chandigarh customer care service center making fool of there customers.

Carrier Split Air Conditioner — No Service, No Support, No Reply
I have bought two Split Air Conditioners for my factory from Carrier. One is 2 Ton 4 star and another is 1 ton 5 star rated. I have bought from this company because i don't want any service related problems in future. But I was wrong.Both the ACs have stopped working within 6 months (not cooling, making ice on the grills & noising).
Then I have called the service centre of Carrier as they are giving So Called one year Free service. I have booked a complain on 15/09/11 and they told me then service will be done within 48 hours (with confidence). And nobody come for service even after 72 hours. so i called again on 19/09/11 and gave my service ID number. So, again they gave me time for 48 hours which i don't like and send an email to customer care of carrier. But I am so much disappointed that till now, on 25/09/11, i have not received their reply. Mean while contacted customer care on 21st and 23rd but they are trained to give time of 48 hours on each and every call. even today on 25/09/11 i called and they again gave me 48 hours. So, this is a height of carelessness. So, i write an email again to customer care with the hope that nobody will reply but atleast they should know that someone is not happy with their service things.
Now, i am going to pay huge money for paid service from some professional and understand that it was my huge mistake to keep trust on this so called prominent company and bought two ACs by paying 75k.
I will definitely not give reference of this company to my business group.

I am Surendra Gupte stated at Badlapur Thane District a carrier AC customer from last two years, frankly speaking the product are excellent but after sales service is very poor.last three days because with in warrent period we had gettig only one service, & now its not working what I do now, I am trying to contact you people by phone or mail but could not reach you.Request you if you read my earlier mail & resolved my grevences today only.
I purchased window A.C. from company authorised dealer M/s Madhu Electronics, Sanjay Complex, Gwalior. After purchase I lodged the complain that A.C. is taking much time in cooling the room. They did not respond the request and told me that after 3 service you will get desired cooling till that time pl.wait. Next year when summer season began I lodged complaint that even after completion of 3 services the A.C. is not cooling the room. Howerver, at last they send a technician he checked the A.C. and told me that we will re-fill the gas in compressor therefore we will carry your unit to our service centre. I had no option but to agree with them. on 13/05/2011 they re-install the A.C.at my house and charged Rs.2200/- on account of Gas filling and service charges. I paid them. Today i.e. on 06/04/2012 when I start the A.C. the compressor of A.C.was not working and due to which there was no cooling .I immediately rush to the shop of the dealer and narrated the incidence. They shown no interest but advised me to book complaint with their service centre. I did so now the people of service centre telling me that we will take at least 5 days to make visit and than will find out the reason why compressor of A.C. is triping. What a fun it is hot summer season has began and they are behaving in a very casual manner. They are not worrying about the customer problem. i purchased carrier spilt AC on dated 28.05.2011 from pinkey radios sector 35, chandigarh. 1st service given but when i call them for 2nd service abot 1 month passed and daily i call them but responce every time they told me it will be done today. But yet today is not come. I also contaced couster care he claim that your problem will be resolve with in 48 hr. but after 48 hr. no responce. I do mistake to purchase carrier AC. HiThis is to report the pathetic after sales service of Carrier AC. This is the third time my ac is giving trouble. Every time i called up their service centre but they cared a damn. This time also there is no difference in their behaviour. I called up at-least 50 times but every time only make a promise of a call back which never happened and no technician had visited the complaint site. Now I have left with no other choice then going to the local technician......

I purchased Carrier Estella 1.5 Ton AC on 10th April 2013 from M/s Fairdeal Electronics, Delhi. On 13/04/2013 at the time of Installation of AC, the Technician from M/s Fairdeal Electronics opened the Cartoon in front of me and found the Remote missing inside the Cartoon and immediately, I lodged a complaint with Carrier Customer Care. After, dialling the number[protected] atleast 20-25 times the technicians visited my home on 16/04/2013. They as well as Shri Iqbal Khan, Supervisor promised to supply the Remote and give the Demo of the AC within two working days.However, even after lapse of 7 days and numerous calls to Carrier Customer Care Executives and Shri Iqbal Khan, Supervisor there is no response from Carrier. This type of service is really pathetic. In the absence of Remote/ Demo I am unable to run the AC, inspite of so hot weather conditions. Please let me know whom to escalate the issue where proper action can be taken against them.

I used UPS carriers to deliver 15 boxes of dialysis fluid from Spain to my daughers in Marham Norfolk UK just before Christmas it arrived the day before we flew over, it was damaged soaking wet ONE of the box had to be distroyed as the fluid inside one of the boxes was leeking and as we didnt know how long it happened we were told by a hospital in cambridge to distroy it all in the box as it was now contaminated. The other boxes were wet but waqs ok to use as i do dialysis on my husband 4 times a day. This is still going on and i have not received any compensation for this damage which is to the value of 1431 pounds which i cannot afford to lose. if they just gave me some compensation it would be something but they are still not doing anything about it. I have a carrier Window AC and asked for service few weeks ago.Technician came at my place for service and found that there is a fault in the AC cooling coil.He charged Rs 300+ also for that visit and told be that they will order the coil and fix it.Its been more then 3 weeks and no update that.
I called customer care many times since then to get an update but all representatives told me that they will get back to me on this.But no update/ no call.For the last 3 weeks, they are waiting for that part.
I stay in Gurgaon and Carrier's main office is also in Gurgaon but in spite of this the company is not capable enough to resolve this request.Customer care tells that technicians are busy handling other complaints. (Must be earning money by just cleaning ACs in the name of Service).
Customer care representative ask me to call Technicians for this.Its been 3 yrs I bought this AC and got it repaired 2nd time now.Poorest quality.

I have bought my air conditioner in the month of Feb. The person who came to install was 19 years old did not have any knowledge. He broke my wall, my tiles and even my grill. I have got no reimbursement from carrier for this. After that I have 5 complaints since then. I was told it was because installation was not done correctly. Finally Mr. Ankur Doshi had decided to give me a replacement on the 20th of June. I was told the air conditioner would reach my house by 25th June. Today it is 27th June and there is no one yet. I had purchased a carrier ac in 2013 and later i had to shift my house and registered a call with carrier ac to shift the ac to the new house, the technician who had come did not know how to install the ac which resulted in gas leakage later after several complaints another technician had come and checked and told that the ac was not fit properly hence there was a gas leakage. Just after 2 months again gas leakage again the same procedure followed so many calls later tech guy visited and told hat the gas was not filled properly for visiting they wanted 450 and for filling gas 3600 later after lot of argument they accepted that the mistake was from there end and did it free of cost. PEOPLE DO NOT EVER BUY CARRIER PRODUCTS AS THEY ARE NOT WORTH OUR HARDEARNED MONEY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC

We have raised the compliant on 23rd May'2016 Split AC 1.5 ton is not working/cooling. 24th May technician came and verified that inner unit problem. service report itself mentioned AC is not working when we have checked with customer care on 25th that ticket was closed. they have asked us to create one new ticket (25th created a new ticket) till sunday no one was turned that ticket was opened (29.05.2016), . yesterday we called the customer care understand that ticket was closed. really I don't understand without fixing the issue. how you will close the ticket another point is that what is the escalation procedure. I have sent couple of mails to support mail id . till now I have not received any reply. Really I don't know what kind of support this customer care is giving.

Opting Carrier AC is definitely a huge mistake and we will have to live with it now. I purchased the Estrella Plus Model (costing around 27K) 1.5 Ton 3 star and merely after 2 days the cooling stopped. I Registered the complaint on 5th April morning 9:30 AM and till date, have called them around 5 times, with no positive response. As promised no one from the service center has called us yet and customer care people said the engineer might visit us in another 2 days or so.
AC Retailer is hardly interested in assisting us now.

great eastern shop its very bad company and carier ac very bad not good ac service new ac purchase in wednesday company ac send shopper to my office. but ac split moter ad ic fuse we call again and again but not reponse me.
I bought Carrier AC 5 years ago. We have 3 samsung Ac one Lg in total.
But unfortunately the most expensive and well know brand like Carrier who is know for quality product has failed to perform. I personally bought this for my bedroom and now I am being mocked upon because of this faulty product.
Every year same issue of water leakage happens.
None of the other AC's hvthis leakage issue. Everyyear technician comes cleans the filters and takes off, last visit on 13th april 2018bthey filled in gas. But condensation problem persists.
Really disappointed on my decision.

True, the services of Carrier are pathetic and their agents are negligible and inefficient. After being charged for service of rs. 6000, in 15 days the problem arrises again and there's no resolution yet. There service is very slow and not satisfactory at all.

Professionally I am a teacher of South Point School in Kolkata and had purchased an Air Conditioner of Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd (AC 1.5 Ton Split) with my hard earned money. The AC machine (Model No: 18 FM) was purchased from the Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd on 15/03/2010.
The said machine was delivered to my house on the 21st instant, and was installed in my bed room by their Authorised Installation Agency, M/s Geo Systech on the 22nd instant. One Mr. Nakul and another gentleman from M/s Geo Systech had completed the installation and had charged Rs 2, 500/- for the same vide their Bill No: 6, Dated 22/03/2010, which I found later to be highly misappropriate.
After running the said AC machine on the very first day, it had started making a cracking sound from inside and water droplets started dripping continuously from it much after switching it off. I had called up their Authorised Installation Agency, M/s Geo Systech and another gentleman came on the 23rd instant and inspected the machine and declared it to be faulty.
Since the water droplets were continuously dripping throughout from the machine, I had called up their Authorised Service Centre and was allotted a Call No: 109845. Mr. Bikash Das, their Technician had inspected my machine on the 24th instant.
He had diagnosed that the machine is fine but the persons from their Authorised Installation Agency, M/s Geo Systech had made a totally erroneous installation for which although the machine was switched off, the power was flowing inside the machine continuously. Moreover, chunks of ice had formed both inside the machine and the compressor, which could have resulted in a total damage of the machine.
Just for the callous installation by their Authorised Installation Agency, M/s Geo Systech not only huge amount of Electrical Units had been consumed by the machine for almost 48 hours at a stretch without my usage, but also it could have resulted in a fatal accident. Moreover, they had charged a highly inappropriate installation charge.
I would, therefore, urge to immediately penalize and black-list their Authorised Installation Agency, M/s Geo Systech. Moreover, the amount of financial loss incurred by me should also be appropriately compensated.
