[Resolved]  CIBIL — CIBIL REPORT UPDATED

Good day Sir,
This is Ram from Chennai. i have little clarification about
CIBIL Report. Five years back, my brother had HSBC Credit card. He applied and
gave me an add-on-card on my name. After an year, since i got HDFC Credit card
with good Credit limit, I asked him to Cancel the credit card by releasing the
payment. He canceled both, main card and Add-on-card by settled the payment.
Bank has given the confirmation letter for the final payment and cancelled it.

Recently a year back, when i applied for a home loan, i
came to know from the HDFC home loan department that they have my name in CIBIL
Report. When i saw the report given by the bank, the HSBC credit card was still
in due and they have sent to the cibil.

I emailed the report immeditely to HSBC bank and also went
directly in person. I got the feed back that the card given by cibil was invalid
credit card number and there was no person used that card. After i got the
feedback from HSBC credit card division, i called to CIBIL Mumbai office to
clarify the report. they said that report were given by HSBC and I have to
approch bank. Bank said that they can not do any thing.. so what i do?

ref please see below correspondence between CIBIL , HSBC& me

Grace Techno Services. — Reported to CIBIL by some Institution.

I do Not have any Loan except for a CAR LOAN with ICICI which is progressing smoothly for sure.

I recently opened a Current Account with HDFC Bank and had requested for a Credit Card facility very clearly with a small Credit Limit to facilitate On Line Booking Air Tickets/ Rail Tickets specifically. Had also requested for Auto Debit facility to clear monthly dues from my Current Account.
However I was infromed by HDFC that as my name has been reported to CIBIL, I shall not be able to avail of the Credit Card facility.

I was not shocked to hear this News that my name has been listed in the Defaulter List of CIBIL.
Why ? My past experiences with M/s. CITIBANK CREDIT CARD Divn., pointed very clearly to this sadistic and unprofessional behaviour on their part to cover up their goo[censored]ps. I have enough documents to substantiate my claims above.

We have paid and settled all our dues till date and have the settlement letters from the concerned financial Institutions & Bank on their letter head that the full & final settlement has been done and there are no dues pending from our end.

Despite the same they continue to send mails, reminders to pay some dues. Why ???????

I least expected CIBIL to put me in the Docks without taking confirmations or clarifications or Information to me. How can an auhority take a unilateral decision of this side. This is not being Fair & Just.

I do not know which Financial Institution has reported our name in the defaulter list.I STATE MY PRESUMPTION AS ABOVE.

This is utmost unfair for a customer who is sincere and has settled all the dues and has never defaulted in any way.

I have never received any information from CIBIL asking for a confirmation if the name of a customer is listed in defaulter list whether is it correct?

I seek justice to get our names removed from the defaulter list with an immediate effect. I am ready to give all the proof and settlement letters issued by the concerned Financial Institutions provided we are given the details of the same.

Please help us.Today we cry out for JUSTICE & FAIRPLAY.

Looking forward to a suitable action at the earliest form your end.
