[Resolved]  compaq presario cq40 — service center

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased my compaq laptop (Presario CQ40-108-TU) on 20jul.2009 from neharu place new delhi. The warranty period upto one year from purchasing date. Due to adaptor and DVD problem, I putted my same laptop in company authorized service center in gurgaon(h.r) but till the time to writing this complain my laptop not repaired. I am frtustrated with the delay ot concern laptop company and service center. ts and compliments department (in.[protected]@hp.com), but they didn't give a single reply. I talked and mailed to delhi coordinator but they are telling that it wll take more two-three days.

Now, today 14th day is going to be complete to given my laptop in concern company authorized center.

I am frustrated to poor service of concern laptop company.

Please guide me.

compaq system dvd rider — complaint on compaq dvd rider problem

my system No. is SG 31451L and product No. is # GV 436AA# ACJ. My system's DVD Rider and USB Card has completely dead. So, you please contact us and repair the dvd rider cum usb card.

Compaq Presario Notebooks — Service delay

It has been almost 15 days since I have deposited my laptop to the HP service center in Kolkata . On the same day I got a call from them informing me that they have ordered a system board which would take atleast 10-15 days . Today it has been 15 days since that day and still they are saying that they don, t have any clue about the status of the complaint and they are not sure that how much more time it would take .
Today finally I got a call from them informing me that they can update me the status after 15-20 days minimum.
What sort of joke is this .My laptop got screwed out of the blue followed by such a poor and ill managed service or should I say lack of service from the center I am seeing my future in darkness . I am a 3rd year engineering student and my campusing is starting from the end of february and I need my laptop to study and I cannot manage a single day without a laptop.
I also mailed to a HP high official whose email contact ie rupak.[protected]@hp.com which I received from the service center and to my expectation that mail was not even replied .
I really feel now that the Hp customer service is the worst of all and whenever I find I situation where I need to suggest somebody, I do not fail to warn them against HP and its associates
He is right !

compaq presario cq40 — jagged lines on lcd

i have an compaq presario cq 40 notebook.
the problem is that every time booting there are jagged line or i must say colorful line are moving up side on LCD continuously for half an hour after some time it stopped.
my LCD have not any damage it is alright but unnecessary line are moving on booting,..
how can i solve this problem help me

Compaq Presario CQ40-133TU — Very poor service

I had submitted My laptop Compaq Presario CQ40-133TU at M/s RT Outsourcing Services Pvt.Ltd. A-200, Okhla ,New Delhi on[protected] for flickering display. Service Engineer told me that there is a problem with display panel and we need to replace it and it will take 3-4 days.

After 25 days they are not able to get the display panel for my laptop .This is the responce which I am getting from them till date. According to them Display panel for CQ40-133TU is not available in India.

Due to adaptor and DVD problem, I putted my same laptop in company authorized service center in delhi on 06.10.2009 but till the time to writing this complain my laptop not repaired. I am frustrated with the delay ot concern laptop company and service center. I wrote several mail in their compliants and compliments department (in.[protected]@hp.com), but they didn't give a single reply. I talked and mailed to delhi coordinator but they are telling that it wll take more two-three days.

COMPAQ SERVIC CENTER — changing my genuine DVD writer

I have a compaq laptop series (V6316TU) .
I bought it june 2007 and extended its warrenty. Last september, i found a problem in my DVD writer i fired a complain to the HP service center meerut (U.P). they changed my DVD writer to other company DVD writer. I found that mistake when in November my laptop was in problem of power failure and i complaint it to the service center meeut.Then they said that ur DVD writer is of another company and DVD writer is out of warrenty.
when i saw the DVD writer cover its compaq but it contain LG DVD writer internally.
because of its cover it appears as it is compaq DVD writer.
This kind of fraud they are doing with customer like me so i am kindly requesting you to please look into matter and make a possible solution to this problem
sir i want that a deterant action must be taken for them who are engaged in this kind of fraud practice to their customer
Please Suggest me How can i deal with them leagally.
I am in trouble please help

I baught a notebook pc-compaq presario cq40_108TU, at the time 27/12/2008. and there was a free gieft (degitle camera)with this notebook but they did not suggest that how to get it, so I could not get it.

compaq presario cq40 — Drivers are not supportable

I bought Compaq Presario CQ 40 laptop in March 2009 from HP outlet which is located in Forum :
Quality First Ventures, Ground Floor, Opp. Mc Donald's, The Forum, Koramangala, Bangalore-560 029, TIN: [protected]. I did not get any driver CD or mother board CD from them.
Now, every time drivers get out of date or unsupported. Laptop has one year of warranty. When i went to HP's service centre located in 100ft Road, Indira Nagar, Bangalore, they say that they support only hardware, they don't support anything about software. I can not find drivers online as well on HP's site. I can not install the server due to drivers uncompatibilities.

i have purchased compaq presario cq 40 laptop 6 month back only. hard disc got crashed. noone could tell me the reason. initially the service centre told me that it will take 2-3 days for the new part to come. now its over 3 weeks and every one is telling me sir wait for 1 day or so. trust me the people working are worst i came across. i really dont know if i will ever get my laptop. there is noone who is seriously looking into it. i suggest that be careful before purchasing this product. i will never do or be very care ful

I brought the copacq CQ-40 presario laptop from kottayam nivon computers on 24th june 2009 and warrenty of my lap is expired. My lap showing two complaints before six month the battery is gone and now a flickering is shown in the task bar. Day by day the intensity of the flickering is increased. Tell me how this problem can be over come and how much cost i want to give. Then tell your service center in kottayam or in coimbatore.
