New Dell Laptop Inspiron 14R delivered on[protected], Started using the laptop on[protected]. Opened the laptop straight out of box and after initial process I found that the Sound/Volume was not coming out of laptop. Tried few steps to resolve the issue but of no use. There is no volume at all from the laptop. For a brand new laptop and first day o[censored]sing it I didn't expect the condition of laptop to that worse.
Contacted technical support guys and after few remote diagnostics steps they told they will replace the Internal speakers. I have requested them to replace the laptop but they wouldn't. I got the issue escalated to their superiors. Their customer service sucks big time. They are full of attitude and they don't have the proper customer skills. It would have been a different scenario if the laptop was purchased abroad in USA, UK or any other country. The laptop would have been replaced on the first complaint and part of payment refunded for the inconvenience caused. I can say that from my own experience because I have stayed in UK for 3 years and own a dell laptop. The irony is that for UK customers these same guys provide support. But because it was purchased in India there is no replacement or part refund of the money.
They treat our Indian customers as big time . Customers in India are no way regarded high. Based on my experience in India I would not recommend any Dell Laptop to any of my friends or family. Was this information helpful? |

I have a complaint with dell as when i visited at Dell Authorized service center in Delhi India on[protected] .
no one helped me . I literally felt sorry for my mistake for buying

Only mistake I did was I got Dell notepad from a dealer .
i never received any Motherboard CD's or operating System CD to work with it or any assistance from Dell Helpdesk when I dialed[protected] .
My window is not genuine, that is the message it occurred while I used to scan from Microsoft Essential Antivirus frequently .
Dell supporters could have given me a little bit of support but they bluntly told me, they cannot help, now I have to buy the original window, which will cost me a lot as I had purchased N Series Model .
Authorized Centre was in the Position to help me, they had everything which would have bought a smile on my face, but they refused me bluntly that they are not supposed to deal with N series purchased Customers .
Please tell me is it the customer Services ?
I came long the way to the service Centre, that is what you get “TEARS “
as i have N series dell model, i was not even aware that if i have that model, and Dell treats N- Series model customer that way .
I was literally crying with the Paethic service from dell on the road when I came out from the service center on[protected] in Lajpat Nagar -2 .
I work with HCL tech. but i purchased dell mini 1018 because i felt dell service is much better, more reliable.
now i am planning to have better model.
Do you really think i will really buy dell with such horrible services .
It breaks my heart to tell all this .
Please look into the matter and provide help if any .
