[Resolved] Dell Xps Laptop — Malfunction device delivered | |||
Hello Sir, I had purchased a new Dell Xps laptop worth Rs. 51630/- I paid complete amount in advance at the time of booking dated 20th December, 2010. Its service Tag No. is 8T9V7BS. First of all it was delivered very late to me took around 1 month. After receiving my whole unit i inspected and found that the laptop is not functioning well it is having defect in its internal hardware devices like motherboard. while charging it leaks current and i cannot work on it while connected to AC Adaptor because current shock is of big amount. Secondly while i was trying to install My Operating system i found that operating system CD is also not correct and after that Found that Drivers Media CD is also corrupted which was confirmed by the Dell Engineer when i visited to the authorized Dell showroom situated at Sector-20 C Chandigarh from where i have purchased my machine. Engineer after inspecting told me that machine is malfunctioning and it is not working well and also Driver Media CD and Operating System CD were also corrupted. Below is the list of faults :- 1) Whole laptop unit hardware. 2) Operating System media CD corrupted. 3) Drivers Media CD corrupted. I have contacted Dell Customer care many times but everytime i contacted they assure me that engineer will come to your place within 1 to 2 days for faulty laptop pickup and we will give you new laptop. But its now 2 months passed away but nothing is processed and i am heartly frustrated from the services provided by Dell resulted into that I will never suggest any of my known person to purchase any Dell product. I have suffered a lot from this incident because i was not able to contact to my clients which resulted into loss of money and harrasment at my side. Even my whole office work is dependent upon it and i have suffered a lot in my job work. I need my money back from Dell and also the compensation money for all my work suffered due to this which is equal to the two times of the actual cost of new laptop. This is only due to lack of Attention towards their customers by Dell and also the testing team of Dell. with my dell new xps while charging it also leaks current .. i can feel it by rubbing my finger near the touchpad. but it is leakage is very less but it may create a big damage to my hardware in future .. may be or may be not ...

I am totally agreed with the above case as i have seen many cases same like this against Dell Services that's why i am using HP laptop machine instead of Dell and also suggest others to think twice before shop with Dell.
