This is the second time I am losing an article sent by DTDC courier service. First it was a soft toy. When asked about it, it was told that if a list was enclosed with it, nothing will be lost. Next time a soft toy was sent along with a Tee shirt. This time the toy reached safely. Tee shiort is missing.

The interesting thing is, they did it so well that there are no marks of tampering in the envolope.

What made me more angry was that the Manager Mr. Satish (Mangalore - Kotara branch) is putting the blame on (even shouting at) the one who sent it to me.

So please don't send anything through DTDC Kotara (Mangalore) branch.

LOST MISSING DOCKET CONSIGMENT ARTICLE PARCEL ITEM

I am from pune on verge of losing an article sent by DTDC courier service to Mumbai. Its been 17 days now the article has reached no where, several callings to customer care and only answer I get is “the article is coming back due to short address” but the address was mentioned absolutely right and crystal clear on the article.

This is really a frustrating and very annoying experience for me with DTDC

Now I am middle of big email communication thread between DTDC officials, who are still searching and hung in the process finding my article.

After requesting again and again to take this matter on priority and deliver my item back to me ASAP, absolutely no response.

Sometime it looks so funny to me that I begging DTDC to return my own article, but by now I am starting to believe that they don’t have it anymore, some of there people might have stolen it.

As these days they are only recruiting Thieves in there company.

Most of the Indian people are starting to think these DTDC people are not trustworthy anymore and these thinking will multiply more with time on brand failing to deliver quality service.

Also customer service guys promised to respond in 24 hrs but don’t get back even in 48hrs and I am really feeling sorry for myself why I choose DTDC at 1st place when in pune I got all big courier giants like first flight, blue dart, Aramax etc they might be little expansive but important thing is that at least your goods will be delivery satisfactory and now I even started to think that Speed post seems to be a better option then choosing DTDC Indian post might be slow like tortoise but will eventually win the race in steady and consistence way.

It’s been bad starting of year 2008 with a loss of RS 2500/- and that too with brand like DTDC.

I request you guys not to send articles or parcels through DTDC because they have employed all big stealers in there company.
I am thoroughly disappointed with DTDC courier service.

I had dispatched a courier to a university at Texas on the 5th of Jan, 2008.

The airway no is N91773069.

Latest update on the tracking is available only for 8th of January,2008 stating "Inscan at New York". I contacted DTDC offices in Bombay several times, and they still are not willing to acknowledge that the courier is lost. They only keep replying that " We have sent an email to USA office, they are yet to reply to us.".

So I asked a friend in California to call up the DTDC NY office. After she following through for two days of call this office, that no, etc, and being kept on hold for ever, and increasing her mobile bill, she was told from the New York office that they passed my courier to DHL and DHL cannot track it, and that I should go ahead and file a claim.

But the India office has yet to receive this information!

Once the NY office realizes a courier is lost, shouldn't they immediately inform the sender and extend an apology? They should also inform the college, and the Bombay office.

My application is past the deadline now! I will lose any chances of admission/assistantship and create a very bad impression at my college. Also my material is lost, and my application fee is wasted.

I sent another courier from the Bombay office on 12th Jan, foolishly from DTDC again coz the person from the Andheri office said she would send my courier via "ALERT" and make sure it recahes Texas A & M university by Tuesday. I paid for that courier again.

Its airway no is N91773060. Again the latest update available is only for 14th, "Inscan at New York.. 6.40 pm" When I checked the update it was definitely not PM in New York, They updated wrong information.

Its Tuesday 15th, the day my courier was supposed to reach the university, and there is no update after the “Inscan at New York”. It sounds very familiar. I fear they might have lost my new courier as well.

I wish I had sent this one via a more relaible courier service.
Here's a reply from me to DTDC after the got back to me for the above comment. Read this, you will be shocked at their manipulations. 2 couriers, N[protected]dispatched 5th Jan) and N[protected]Dispatched 12th Jan again, as previous courier was lost). Read it, Truth is stranger than fiction.

Hello, (Saturday 12th Jan, 2008)

My first N91773069 courier has been lost.. that is confirmed by the US office, as wells as the Bombay office now. Thankfully my second courier N91773060 is delivered ( I paid for that one too).

I have requested my university to review my application, even though it has reached late. This will reflect badly on me, and kill all chances of getting an assistantship, which I absolutely need to be able to afford the US education. May be they will not review my application and refuse admission downright.

And if a courier dispatched on the 5th is scheduled to reach on 16th, when it was promised to be delivered by 8th/9th, it has not served its purpose.

Wow, I checked my update on dtdc.com , it is written it is delievered on 16th!
I dont believe my N91773069 is delivered. It seems like a fraudulent idea by DTDC to prove it is delivered. This is what happened. N91773060 stopped showing updates after 14th Jan,, after Inscan NY, Same old story, and I feared they lost my 2nd courier too. I went frantic! My friend in california called the Jamaica office, and they gave me a DHL tracking number for N91773060. In that number, the reference on the DHL was N91773069,!! instead of N1773060. It can be a typo as 0 and 9 are next to each other on the keyboard, or it could have been purposely done by DTDC to fool me saying N91773069 has reached too, as you now cliam. I am really more pissed after I read this. Can I have a separate DHL tracking number for my 3069 pacakage please? Just because you enter in your dumb tracking it has reached on 16th doesnt mean it has.
This is purposely so that I can not file any claims for he first lost package?
The Andheri office says it wuld take 3 to 6 months to process a claim, and be assured I am not interested in begging to anyone so long. I will just give my frank opinion on the service to whoever I can through my blog and other consumer forums.

As for restoring faith, no way. It has made me even more angry because I KNOW MY FIRST COURIER IS LOST. It is confirmed by US office as well as the Bombay office. Now you say it reached 11 days after it was dispatched? Same day my courier dispatched on 12th reached!

I had some respect for the company when the manager at Andheri Mr. Mukherjee called up to apologise, but this falsehood and lie makes me fume.
I don't care if I get a claim or not, but I am pissed enough to post on all consumer forums, and add to the list of angry consumers against dtdc.

It is a highly irresponsible courrier company, they open the consignment, make a declaration form themselves, make you sign it, you recieve your consignment in a polythene which is open.Then they say thatmissing article is not mentioned on declration form, so it was not sent only.You land up blaming the sender and you land frustrated.

DTDC Courier — Items lost/not delivered

This is regarding the courier i sent from bangalore branch with consignment number. B54456286 to Orissa on 11/07/2009.The courier not yet delivered and on subsiquient enquiring i got to know that my courier items are lost and am not getting any response from the bangalore branch as well as Orissa on what next step to be taken.The bangalore customer care phone number is always either busy or swithedoff or it is ringing and no body is picking-up.It is really frustrating when our items are not delivered on time and on enquiring we are not getting a single response.Please help me on how to get my items money back.

DTDC — STOLEN MY THINGS FROM MY CONSIGNMENT

I Mr.T.L.Narayana had booked courier in DTDC in KUKATPALLI OFFICE, HYDERABAD on saturday.

While my freind received the cover he found that the item was changed.Actually, my cover consists of "DRESS MATERIAL" that worth cost of 1000/-.In the cause o[censored]rgency i made a courier from kukatpalli DTDC branch (HYDERABAD) to Revathi complex branch(MACHELIPATNAM)
My item in the cover has been changed and it was replaced by some odd documents like Advertisement cards.

MY BOOKING DETAILS:
COURIER CONSIGNMENT NUMBER: H65974214.

NO WEIGHT IS MENTIONED IN MY RECEIPT.

BOOKING AT KUKATPALLI TIME: EVENING 5:45 AND DATE[protected].

DELIVERY DATE AT MACHELIPATNAM[protected]. AFTERNOON 3:00 CLK.
IN THIS REGARD,
PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION SOON.OTHERWISE I WILL CLAIM TO THE CONSUMER FORM.

Courier — things missing from courier

we send a courier from roorkee to hyderabad.but some items are missing from the courier and also courier is not in a good condition.this kind of service was not expected from the company.kindly help me.........................courier no is 16639016

DTDC — LOST MY ITEM

My item No. K39427792 sent on March last week is still not delivered to the person I mentioned on the Envelope. As per the online status the item had been delivered to some company instead of the person it intended. I complain the same to DTDC. Initially they reply my mail and ask for some information, I provided the same. After some day on[protected] they ask me to bear with them and till then I am waiting for a single reply. I send them 10 mails but no reply yet. Could some one suggest me for the same.
They hav no care for their customers..i had sent a consignment from jaipur to bhubaneswar...but it is almost 1 month now the consignment has not been deleivered.The they hav fwded it thru kolkata.th kolkata branch is saying they hav not received my consignment and jaipur branch is saying the consignment has been trapped by sale tax dept. of kolkata and they r not able to trace my consignment...such irresponsible behaviour has amount me to a financial loss and an emotional loss as i had sent some gifts for my parents...

this is the first time i am dealing with dtdc and i got a very bitter exp...

i m blaming no one else but myself to hav faith on dtdc...
Missing Items AWB#[protected] &amp;[protected]


Cargo sent from Dubai to Bangalore, on 11-August-2012. via AWB #[protected] When the DTDC person picked up the box, he told us not to seal the box as the office will open it to check the items, we handed him a list of items that was packed in the box, he took the list and put it in the box and just put one piece of tape across the box and left. A few days later, the DTDC person came home again and told us that the cargo was more than 30 kgs and we had to pay the balance. He then took the cash and handed over receipt / AWB #[protected]. It was then that we knew that DTDC had opened the box without our knowledge, separated the items and sent the cargo in two boxes. If the box was overweight, the DTDC office should have called us and told us that the box was more than 30 kgs and gave us an option to either send another box and pay the difference or take out items that were in excess of 30 kgs. Whereas they took the liberty on their own and decided to split it into two boxes and send it.

One box was received in Bangalore on 24 August. The box was delivered and when my mother asked the delivery person about the other box he said I do not know anything, I am just a delivery person. The box was not in the same condition as we sent it from here, we had put a plastic rapper over the box which was missing and the box looked smaller as it was compressed and taped. When my mother opened the first box, there was no way of knowing what was missing at that time as there was a second box coming and we did not know what items were in the second box. The second box arrived on 27 August and again the delivery person/driver just dropped off the box asked my mother to sign the delivery slip and left. The check list of the items that we had sent from here along with the cargo was missing.


When my mother started putting all the items together from both the boxes and cross checking it with the list of items sent, she found items missing worth Rs. 13, 000. Till date, DTDC is promising to resolve the issue, but no action has been taken.

my cover lost

in Andhra prades guntur dt at vijayapuri south (nagarjrun sagar )A dtdc point worker took my cover and give me a risit no H29978080 on 05/08/14. then it was theft by DTDC COURIER . It cannot reach to adrass or me untle today
