[Resolved]  Electrolux Kelvinator — Repair/Replacement of Refrigerator

I fully agree with the poor quality of the refrigerator and equally poor after sales service.My 4 year old fridge required gas filling, replacement of sensor and timers twice and still the performance is not optimum.
Am regretting having bought this internatonal brand of fridge.

Kelvinator Refrigerator — K020IL not cooling

I have purchased 200L model of Kelvinator refrigerator and form the dated of purchase the product we found is defective.
The refrigerator is not cooling from the day one and room is gating flooded with water.
The dealer refused to replace the product but insist on calling customer care .
Service guys came and replace "thermostat" but continue to have the problem after 2nd, third repair.
I got frustrated with everyday complain of this orphan model, also now dealer is saying that unless company service personnel says that the device needs replacement, they cannot replace it. And company franchisee service guys are not ready to declare the product is defective and insisting on repairing the same.

Dear Sir,
I purchased a Stainless Steel Electrolux MIcrowave in 2005. I am very unhappy with the bad quality of the equipment. Though the outer body is of Stainless Steel, the inside body of the microwave have rusted due to defect in manufacturing. The Microwave is used rarely and such bad quality from a reputed company like Eletrolux-Videocon in unexpected. The service engineer was unable to repair the problem. As a result I have stopped purchasing other Electrolux-Videocon products.

SIR,
I PURCHASED IN A ELECTROLUX FROST FREE MODEL NO EKL 275FF IN 2004 LATELY IN SEP 2008 MY LOWER COMPARTMENT STOPPED COOLING WHILE THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT WAS STILL COOLING ON COMPLAINING THE LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE THEY SEND ME THE PERSONNEL AND HE GOT REPAIRED IT AFTER CHANGING SOME PART. BUT IT AGAIN STOPPED AFTER 2-3 DAYS AGAIN I COMPLAINED AND AGAAIN THEY SEND THE PERSONNELS THE SAME SITUATION GOT REPEATED AGAIN $ AGAIN THEY UNNECESSARY CHANGED DIFF. PARTS BUT MY PROBLEM IS STILL UN REDRESSED. THE FRIDGE IS STILL NOT WORKING MY MONEY GOT WASTED AND NOW THEY SAY THAT WE CANT HELP .WATS THIS!!! Sub: Repair of My Refregerator DFF40

Dear Sir,

I had purchased an Electrolux Refregerator DFF40 from New Delhi. I started having problems since the first month. Since the Refregerator was under warranty, I was getting the service.

Sometime in the beginning of last year (2008), the PCB Card stopped working & I paid Rs.4200.00 for the new card. Again In the month of June 2008, the PCB card again stopped working. I was asked to pay approx Rs.4200.00 towards the cost of a new one by the service dealer (Royal Refregeration) who came to attend the complaint, which I again paid. The card was changed but it again stopped working within a month. It was again changed by Royal Refregeration (this time without any cost).

Again in the month of January 2009, it stopped working again & this time the service engineer from Raga Refregeration turned up for repairs. He said he would get back to us the next day with the information if the same could be changed under warranty but he never bothered to get back.

Since we were going out of Delhi that day, we instructed our maid to get it repaired when he came. We returned last week to Delhi and to our surprise, the refregerator was still in the same state & nobody ever came to repair it.

Today I again made a fresh complaint (No. DEL [protected])and the same person from Raga Refregeration came to attend the complaint. I asked him why he did not come back in January when we had compalined. Instead of answering my question, he asked me: "Madame ne aapko phone nahi kiya? Bhool gayi hongi."

I do not know which Madam he was refering to. I am astonished at the callous & casual behaviour of your service dealers.

I am of the opinion that the dealers are repairing the PCB cards & passing them on to the customers as new & also charging them for the new PCB Card.

I sincerely request you to please look into this matter & have somebody repair our Refregerator once & for all. All this is giving, an international brand like Electrolux, a bad name in the market which I am sure is not what we look forward to.

I did'nt get proper service.My fridge is not working for last one month. Twice technichions came from Thiruvella service centre but fridge is not properly repaired. The lower portion is not cooling.Twice we have complaint to the customer care also.

Bust out the duct tape and have at it.

What the hell did you shove into your fridge that cracked the inner wall, an anvil??

Electrolux — Poor and reliable service

I purchased 0.8 Tons air conditioner of electrolux in August 2008. The unit stopped working just after 5 weeks. I logged the complaint and unfortunately it was attended after 10 days. The service operator took the transformer out of it as it was not working. Till today i haven't received it back and the AC is not functioning since last 8-9 months. I have called the service center no. of times and also went to dealer from where it was purchased. But till today i am suffering.

Somebody guide me how to get rid of this.
