Electrolux Make Model No.285 ERP Double Door

Dear Sir,

This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux make (Model No.285 ERP) on 8th April’06 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt Ltd, 102, D.H. Road, Behala, Kolkata-700 034 and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been done by M/s. Millennium Service Centre (Authorized Service Centre of Electrolux Kelvinator), 17, Roy Bahadur Road, Kolkata-700 034.

Recently, the machine has been given to M/s. Millennium on 5th March’08 since the machine was not exhibiting proper cooling. Specially, the lower half was not at all functioning properly and as a result water was coming out from machine all the times. Since then, I have contacted so many times to your officials like Mr. Amlan Ghosh[protected], Mr. Mallick[protected] & Mr. Niraj[protected] and nobody has given satisfactory reply.

They have confessed that they cannot rectify the cooling arrangement from inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is totally non-conventional and the said proposal was rejected by undersigned.

Meanwhile, I have been offered a proposal for replacement of ‘New Freeze’ by paying some extra money after deducting the depreciation amount (two years) from the purchase price of Rs.15, 000/- (April’06). I am not ready to pay the balance amount even as the machine is a defective one from the day. So, kindly intervene and give your valuable advice immediately to your Kolkata office. Moreover, I am in terrible situation as my daughter is appearing to ICSE Exam and I am passing on the Summer days without refrigerator.

Electrolux AC 1. 5 Ton — not working

i had purchased an ac on[protected] .after installation i had started the ac for first time on[protected]. the instance i started the ac , all the lights of my house tripped. i complained to the dealer and he said it was in house mistake of line.i checked with the local electrician and proved the mistake was in ac. next day the company person found the mistake in fan motor which was short.and he took the same on[protected]. till today they have not reverted back.and i am surprised if on very first start there is problem what will happen in future.
i,therefore request electrolux to pls replace my ac with other ac.

Electrolux O - Zone — repair

I have tried to contact several electrolux customer care nos for repair of my refrigerator but none of the nos are valid. i need to get my frig repaired as soon as possible. There is continous noise coming from the freezer compartment on closing the door. My frig model is eluctrolux o-zone, 2.25 ltrs. I tried getting a local mechanic who fleeced me of Rs 3200.00 and the prob was back again within 3-4 days. Now that mechanic refuses to attend to my calls. had i got an authorized mechanic from the company, this situation would not have arisen. the electrolux company is absolutely insensitive to the probs of its clients else they would have a proper network customer care service. kindly help in getting my frig repaired.

Kelvinator — Non delivery of refrigerator 12 days after booking

I have booked a refrigerator, model no KSP 254 on 10th April 2011 during an exhibition in Chandigarh and was promised delivery at my house on 11 th April 2011 on payment of Rs 500 as booking amount vide receipt no 396. The company has neither delivered the refrigerator, nor are they ready to comitt any date for the same. Moreover, co. employee Mr Ravi ([protected]) is giving false statement for three days continuous that my refrigerator has been dispatched and will reach by evening. On being confronted as to why he is making false promises, he asked me not to bother him as he has lot of work to do. I asked for contact no. of some responsible person which he is not giving and when I told that I would take up the matter with higher authorities, he said that I was free to do whatever I like.

Kindly take up the matter with concerned people and ask them to inform whether my refrigerator would be delivered or not. Else please ask them to refund my hard earned 500 Rs.
Dear Customer Care Officer,

We purchased a Kelvinator (100 Lt.) model KD180 L unit # 13203561 on 06/12/07 from M/S Kanak Electronics poojan hotel building station road Sitapur Uttar Pradesh for Rs 8, 000 ( Invoice number 8449).

On January 2011, there was a problem with the fridge and we called for servicing of the same to the M/S Kanak Electronics where they found that it's compressor was burnt in guarantee period. They told me that they had made a complaint for it.

My fridge is still not repaired till now nor the compressor was replaced.

So please take a necessary action regarding my this complaint.

We hope to have a favorable response from Kelvinator as we have been loyal to the brand for many years.

Electrolux — Light is not working & no proper cooling

I had already lodged a complaint before. Still so far no one has visited and repaired the fridge as the Rubber Gasket comes out and the cooling is not properly done unless kept on full. It is not even one year complete as I bought it in the beginning of July from Snehanjali through Bajaj Finservices by paying all EMI's time to time. Videocon/ frost free refrigerator — poor performance of newly purchased

I have purchased a Vedeocon make 300 liters capacity from the NEXT showroom in Anand (GUJARAT), on 7th May, 2011. We are not getting cooling in lower part of refrigerator. When I complaint to dealer, he said that company technician will come and repair the same. Company technician told me that I have to open the same to repair which I don't want because it is newly purchased and I want to replace the piece. Electrolux - Air Conditioner — complaints unheard regarding non functioning of ac since 10 days

I had lodged a complaint regarding the non functioning of my A.C which is still under the warranty period (purchased on 21st May),on the 11th May at your customer service(Delhi), a guy came the very next day and cited the problem of fan and motor in the A.C and said they he would change it but thats it.Next day onwards I have been calling your customer care since then and keep getting different numbers of different people who even fail to take calls forget giving any service, no doubt you have the worst after sales service. If you fail to give any kind of service you should shut down your company.Do I expect you to look into it atleast on moral grounds.

Electrolux / Microwave — Regarding service

We have one Electolux microwave (Electrolux: EM22EC80SS ). Which was not working from last 1 and half months. We called to service centre. They came and said that some component has damaged and it should be replace. That time they do not have that componet. But they commit that the component will come within few days. But unfortunately the component still not arrived. And now they are saying that it may take 1 year also. My microwave is not working for last 1.5 months and I dont know when it will work , also dont know to whon should I contact. Please help.

This is to inform you that, I had purchased a Kelvinator refrigerator KSP204, INVOICE NO. 646 on 17 Feb-11, from Electro Cottage 40, Sheo charan lal road, Laxaman Bazar, Allahabad, after a month it stop functioning, I have made a complaint to the company in their toll free phone number [protected] on 12th may '11, as my Kelvinator refrigerator is not functioning. No any service representative attended the problem against the complaint. I got a message from company service centre Mr. NAZER ([protected]) will attend complaint number VAR[protected] within 48 hours.

Today is 04th June whole summer session is going to change into rainy and no one from company's side has attended the complaint. In the mean time I have talked to their customer care many times. All the time customer care executives told the same thing that my complaint will be attended very shortly.

on 24th march 2011 we had called to electrolux toll fee no; [protected]registered a complain regarding 1.5 on a/c not working

Electrolux - The Worst Service — WORST SERVICE, FRAUDULENT STAFF

ELECTROLUX HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HAS STAFF WHO ARE NOT TRAINED AND OFFER FRAUDULENT SERVICES. I have raised repeated complaints for my refrigerator and have been following up for the service. few representatives turned up after so many follow-ups and dint have a clue about the problem and finally one representative assured the issue is fixed and took the money rs.6000 for replacing the compressor and the refrigerator has stopped working within a day of this poor service. ever since I have been on calls and there is no response. WORST WORST WORST SERVICE EVER!
Sub : Regarding ignorance in providing services of washing machine.

my washing machine which is fully automatic having model no: 760fx2, washy talky, serial no: 40700688 is having some functional problem,

Electrolux - Refrigerators — A line of Faulty Compressors

Dear Sir,

This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux on 5th September ’07 and since then this machine has been giving trouble with its compressor.

The Compressor of the fridge was faulty since the beginning and each and every time some or the other Customer Executive would come and make fake promises or would show his helplessness in the matter. The Compressor of this fridge has been changed FOUR
times. Here are the details.

Purchased- 05- Sep-2007.
1st Compressor changed- 31- Jan-2009, Amount paid- Rs. 1,340/-
2nd Compressor changed- 04- Jan-2010, Amount paid- Rs. 340/-
3rd Compressor changed- 14- Mar-2010, Amount paid- Rs. 340/-
4th Compressor changed- 07- Aug-2010, Amount paid- Rs. 340/-

And this is not over yet, this is going to be the fifth time that again the Compressor is not working. (Complaint No- PJAI[protected].)

Electrolux is really a champion in making faulty compressors and frustrating its customers to heights. Now I do not want any Compressor to be changed. I NEED A FRIDGE REPLACEMENT OTHERWISE WALKING TO CONSUMER COURT IS THE ONLY OPTION LEFT NOW. Does your company feels that we are fools sitting over here with no other work but to change Compressors each and every time? Do you people even know what After sales service or Customer Satisfaction is all about?

I need an immediate action in this matter.

Electrolux is a name that needs no introduction . Its products are world class and long lasting. I am a permanent customer of Electrolux and have been purchasing its products since quite a long time and never had any complaints until now. I purchased a refrigerator from Electrolux (Product Name :ELUX.REF.OZONE PLATINIUM, Model No :ER60PC) on 23 / 02 / 2006 from Sahu agencies, Hazratganj, Lucknow. Till the month of August'2011, the refrigerator was working fine but at the end of the month, its refrigeration fan stopped working .
I registered a complaint with Electrolux Service Center regarding this on 1st of September . Electrolux states in its manual (and i am quoting the exact sentence ) that " ...Electrolux InstaService with its network of 500 centres and 1500 personnel is always there to take care of any problem...in no time at all . With Electrolux InstaService, quick service and reliability go without saying." However, i had an extremely dissatisfying experience with Electrolux customer services. I am writing this mail on 24th of September which means that almost one month has passed since i had registered my complaint and yet no prompt action has been taken.
Two days after the registration of my complaint, required service agents arrived and they informed me that the motor driving the fan and its associated PCB need replacement. They dismantled the entire refrigerator, took out the fan motor and said that the new motor and the PCB parts would arrive within three-four days A week passed and when i contacted them they said the parts had not yet arrived. I even complained to the Sahu agencies but they simply shrugged off their shoulders. Finally on 16th of September, i visited the official head office of Electrolux at Mahanagar, Lucknow. To my surprise, it was not looking like an office of such a reputed brand, rather, it was resembling some sort of Government office. I was attended by Mr. Vinay Shrivastava and Mr.Vimal at the head office and they simply requested for a week's time with the assurance that by 23rd of September, all problems would be resolved.Not satisfied with the response, I talked to Ms. Ranjan Shrivatava who sits at the service help desk .Initially, instead of telling me about the progress of my complaint, she questioned me why did i opt for such a large refrigerator ? I was simply shocked, i mean, in what way will the progress of my complaint depends upon the size of the refrigerator purchased !!!.
Also later on i was informed by one of the customer care representatives that out of the required parts had already arrived on 6th of September but one of the part was not compatible, so they send it and till now, the required part has not arrived. How can one expect such a mistake from a company like Electrolux !!!.Moreover, yesterday i.e. on 23rd of September, the date i was given by your head office members, no one from Electrolux came or even borthered to inform me. When i visited the head office, they again demanded a week's time and i was simply given another assurance date i.e. 29th of September. In this one month, i have made several calls to your service center and also made many trips to your Lucknow Head Office. However, nothing concrete has been done so far. This is why i am writing this mail to you with the hope that you will take necessary actions regarding this.
It is not only me but there are many other customers of Electrolux who are facing such inconveniences only because of the poor attention that is given to our problems. Refrigerators are an important part of our lives and even you understand the problems one experiences when his refrigerator stops functioning and that too over a long time. I and many other such customers are also thinking of going to the consumer forum regarding the irresponsibility and looseness that Electrolux has shown. Therefore, i appeal to you to address our problems as soon as possible and prove your statement regarding "quick service and reliability " .
