[Resolved] Fashion And You — Irregularities in Money Refund | |
Hello, Order No 1991253 I have been a customer of fashion and you for over a year now. Till today I have spent a considerable amount in purchasing products from their site. My experience was mixed. Not fully satisfied but not very bad as well. But my recent experience with them has taught me a lesson not to trust them any more. On June 7th I tried to place an order in their site in with my net banking. After the required steps when i was redirected to F&U site the message came that the transaction failed. But the stipulated amount was debited from my bank account. I in fact got a regular message from ccavenue that if the amount is debited it will be again credited to my account in two days. But till today I have not received any refund. I have tried to contact F&Y support several times but I never got any prompt or satisfactory reply from then. First they asked me to send my bank statement which I did and which clearly showed the debited amount with account number and date. After that I did not hear from them for three days. When again I mailed them I was informed that they are looking at the matter. Still I waited and got nothing. With repeated mails they told me that they checked and and found that they did not receive the money. I contacted SBI, my bank and was told that they amount was debited and has gone to the mentioned account,i,e. F&Y account. I have been repeatedly mailing F& Y to provide me with more information regarding where my money is or to provide me with a formal letter that they have not received the money so that I can take up the matter with the concerned authorities. Now they are absolutely silent and wont answer to my mails. Now my questions are: 1. Is this the professional attitude with which they are running their business? 2. Don't they have any responsibility towards their customers? 3. When the bank statement is clearly showing that the money has been credited to their account then how can they just write one line reply that they did not receive it.That means State Bank of India is misleading? 4. Why cant they come up with replies on their own? Why do I have to keep on sending mails after mails in order to get a reply? 5.After this experience why will I shop with them any more? 6. Fashion and You — REFUND MONEY NOT YET RECEIVED
this is regarding my Order no-304307 which i ordered on 21st march '11. i bought it during a blowout sale, supposed to be delivered within 10days but after repeatedly contacting them for 1month they finally told me my ordered was cancelled due to unavailability of the products and that the money would be credited to my account after 3days. this was just the beginning of my ordeal because first they told me that the money was credited to my account, which they didn't and later when i contacted them they told me that since i bought the stuffs using my debit card it was not possible to credit it to my account (which by the way is complete farce because i buy stuffs from other online shops with my debit card and i always get back the refund plus my two friends have used my debit card for buying stuffs from FnY which were no doubt cancelled by them for no reason with the refund money being credited to my account). SO, they told me that a cheque (Ch#002363 through BlueDart) had been issued on 12th May but till today it has not reached me. I have contacted many times and each time they tell me that they would contact the concerned deptt. n to contact them after 48hrs. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHEN THIS 48hrs WILL COME. ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS ALREADY.Its just not about the money anymore because I am shocked and disgusted by the way they lie to the customers when they say they highly value their customers, if they had been so concerned then they would not let their customers go through all this for what is rightfully their's..... God willing their business would not last very long..... Please RETURN me my money and yeah please credit it to my account. I didn't want to write my complain here but you left me with no choice...

I'm also having a bad experience with Fashion and You. Had placed my orders in Nov 2010 (for a perfume) and unfortunately paid by my debit card! They never sent me the perfume for months and after several calls and arguments, THEY cancelled this order because they did not have the perfume!!! Its been 9 months now and I'm still waiting for them to refund the amount to me... and this has happened with TWO of my orders... so its not a one off case!
The customer service associate says only one thing to me each time I call - "We're sorry for the inconvenience caused; we have forwarded your request to the refund department" !!! Don't know what to do ... its so upsetting!

I totally agree with u, it pisses me off each time i get their automated reply... Thank God we r not the only ones agreeing on it, saw a complaint page on facebook 4 FnY and it made me so happy bcos people r taking the initiative to let the others know about how big a scam FnY actually is...

hi, with regards to the tracking no [protected] given to me for my order 304307 dispatched on 5th July as stated by your customer representative, i have enquired from the local BlueDart agent but they have not received any shipment as such and even the results on the BlueDart website shows as "Invalid tracking number". Thanks for personally calling me but there is still something wrong with the delivery here so please help me... I am again asking you to please credit it to my account directly, it will save us all our precious time...
I have exactly faced the same. This website and company should be banned forever.
They simply lack common sense and customer service etiquette.

Fashion and You — Money not refunded
Dear SirIts almost two months since my complaint on your website, I am fighting with Fashion and You people to get back refund of my courier charges. I had called them many times, written more than 50 mails but to no avail. After lots and lots of follow ups, which is ridiculous, they have provided me a store credit instead of refunding cash in my bank account. I have told them, store credit is waste for me since I dont want to purchase anything from them, but they have not listened to me and eaten up my money
Is there any source that I can lodge complaint and claim damages from this company for forgery and misrepresentations to customers and for the harassment I have faced in these two months
