[Resolved]  Gift360 — Fraud Company - cheating public by taking their money

I had booked 7 pairs of Benetton watches through gift 360 in their online site.
Order id no. is 88393, amount of Rs.6972 was paid through my credit card on 25th October, 2009 in name of KaViraj Housewares, Banglore. This is done after registering myself in their website.

Immediately after swiping I got a call from [protected] asking for my card details – card no., name in card, expiry date of card, and CVV number. When I refused to give any details of the same, he asked me to send my credit card scan image front and back. I refused the same also. He then asked for something I which I have never heard of, the screen shot of the SMS I had received after swiping the credit card. I told him that I have never heard of something like that he said he will consult his senior and put me on hold. He cut the all after putting me on hold for 10 minutes. I tried reaching the same number back, but it was switched off.

I sent a mail to their id. The entire set of communication is attached as annexure. I had contacted them on[protected]. They refused to accept that I have made the payment was made. Over phone they insisted they need CVV no. or scan image of back and front of my credit card. When I asked them to put it in the mail they refused to do so.

Entire mail communication is attached, I had even provided them with details of that particular transaction, which also they declined to accept over the mail.

I had called again and they asked me to call up again and ask for Sandeep or Akilan. They never came on line and cut was disconnected after offering a call back in my cell number. Mails sent to them also were not answered.

After fed up with their approach asked for cancelling the order over phone. They said that order through web could be cancelled only through mail only and cannot be done over phone. I sent mail as per the site to the id [protected]@gift360.in.

All this while, even today, as per their web site the order is shown as pending. Screen shots provided.

On 30 september, after seeing the status in website I called up the number[protected] and asked for the status of my cancellation. The call was transferred to one Sayida, who said they have already processed my order and my order has been already sent by courier. I insisted on cancellation, then she retracted and said that I have ordered only one piece and will refund only that money. I insisted that I have paid Rs.6972. She said this money will be returned back to your card within 10 days. In between she had disconnected my call and called me back from [protected] and [protected].

On 7th October, 2009 I got a SMS saying that my order has been dispatched and my order number is 73460.


I contacted the 3 cell numbers given no calls were picked up. Called up[protected], asked for Sayida, call was transferred she pcked the call and said that she will call me back by 3.30pm on details of the refund. But I did not get any call back and called her back, she picked the call and put me on hold for 20 minutes and disconnected. I called the number back and she gave the phone to Sandeep and he started acting funny - saying hello, after each word. And he also disconnected saying he will call me back. That call also was not returned. I called them again and asked for the status of refund, she claims that they have asked bluedart to return the courier back to them and only after return they will process my refund. That also will give that back only after 10 days from then. When I said I will cyber crime cell and consumer redressal forum she asked me to speak to her boss Sandeep and put me on hold for 10 minutes and disconnected the line.

GIFT360 is a fraud company and they intention is to cheat and defraud people’s money. They are asking for details like CVV no., scan image of front and back of credit card.

Please help me in getting my money back.

Your demand is quite impossible and not justified.
Will not be able to provide any more proof as it has many details which cannot be shared. Also till this time no one has explained till this time why you are asking for card details including cvv no. and why nobody attends calls at the numbers provided.
Please cancel my order and return my money.

When you have got your money, why is it pending? Why was you agent asking for Card details, expiry date and CVV number? Why did the agent put me on hold and then disconnected?

Further, i do not get physical statements nor e-statements as i am a internet user. All the screen shot of the page will have many details which could be shared at all. Does not find the intentions right.

Please process my order or return the money.

Gift360 — No response

Dear sir,
I received a scratch card from imint where offer is brought by GIFT360.
I have found a wrist watch named inside.
I have visited their website for redeeming my gift.
And found that i need to pay them for handling charges of 495/-.I made the payment after registering on their website on[protected].And as per rules i have to receive my gift within 14days
I called them on 4-6-2009 to check the status, atlast one out of five contact numbers got worked, rest all were out of service.
They asked me to put a mail to them.There after no response for 4 days.Thereafter I called them on[protected].They took my contact number and called me after three hours and asked my card details for verification.Till now i didnt receive my gift.but my account got debited once again on 11-6-209.
Today[protected]I called their customer care, They are just disconnecting my calls.And not giving any feedback on this case.I called IMINT to check the status.They given me another contact number which worked for me but that executive didnt let me complete the issues on phone.
This made me to write all this.
It is really annoying thing for such a big struggle for a bleady free gift even after paid charges (twice)
I have recd a coupon of a wrist watch... I want to order that watch but i m not able to registered for that b'coz its saying that product code not found so i want to know shall i be able to order it or not...The product code is 1577... It's a Titan watch... Plz do the needfull... Thanking You... Waiting for your positive rply...
Gift360 seems to be a fraud company. They will get the money from you, keep it to themselves for few days and return the money stating that the products are not available at the moment. No one will respond to your queries after sales is done. There are people named Sandeep, Malathy, Akil who will never help you in anything and they are known as the key players in customer service for Gift 360. NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM GIFT 360. You will end up in frustration without getting the product and you have to call them 100 times to get your money back.
i can understand ur problem but u should wait for some time. As i had ordered on reebok watch costing rs594 on 5th-oct-2009 and today that is 10-oct-2009 i have received it. sometimes it happens but u should wait and watch if then also u do not receive ur product just step into the court.
They despatched 1 pair of watch instead of 7 pairs i had ordered. Now they claim that they will refund the cost of the rest 6 pairs. Gift 360 means, you gift them the money to use for 360 days before they refund...
i am accepted gift 360 is folling the people which is sending a procducts an empty box i.e nokia mobile. According IPC 420 act.

One Sayeeda had sent me a mail on 10th Oct saying that they will return the money within 7 working days, but even on 20th I have not received my money back. On calling they are buying more time. Need advise on how to take these people to court and bring out these in front of public.
finally after 100s of calls and they rolling the money for more than a month, i got my money back partially last week.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THIS PEOPLE, THIS COMPANY CHEATS.
