[Resolved]  HDFC Bank Bank Credit Card — Some unnecessary Extra Charges debited in credit card bill

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have Credit card of HDFC bank and card no [protected]. I have maintain this card from Oct. 2009 and every month paid bill before due date and till date i never pay delay payment charges.

I have some Issues for my Dec. 2012 bill payment. Bank has debited some extra charges unnecessary in my January 2013 bill.

My credit card Dec.2012 bill payment due date was 6th of January 2012 (Sunday) and I deposed IDBI bank cheque no. “043889″ in 3rd January
2012 (Thursday) Morning in Hdfc bank, Sec.10A, Gurgaon Branch.

Cheque Clearing cycle in terms of RBI is 3 working days and my IDBI bank cheque also has cleared under 3 working days till 5th January
2013. But on 7th January bank has auto debited card billing amount from my hdfc bank account but due to insufficient fund bank has charged
“Payment Return Fee Rs. 350.”

Now my next bill has generated in 18th January 2013 then i have seen Rs.500 Approx. charges bank has been debited because of my last bill
payment has not been done till due date.

I have enclose files,of bank cheque payment receipt.

Here i request you kindly being way off all these charges Approx. RS.500 which bank has been debited unnecessary.

HDFC BANK/ CREDIT CARD — UNNECESSARY BILLING AFTER 3 YEARS

Dear Sir,
I showed my interest in HDFC bank after satisfactory convincing their Executive that the card will be free for life time i.e. there will be no processing fee and no yearly charges, but after one year they produced a statement and asked me to pay Rs. 750/- as yearly charges and they assured that this was the first time charges and the card will be free to for life time.

I paid the amount and done some transaction with the said Card, after one more year they produced another statement for yearly charges and several inetesrt charges along with taxes which was quite a huge amount.

Their local Exceutive asked me for settlement and the amount was settled as Rs. 3990/- along with crushed card. their collecting Exevcutive came to me and collected the card along with settled amount and signed on the statement which I have kept as an evidence that the adjustment has been done. A copy of receipt is still lying with me as an evidence.

Now after three years of long time the HDFC bank is asking (forcing) me to pay an amount of Rs. 12224/-

I asked them to provide the Transactions details along with the receipts duly signed by me against the statements dispatced by me, but they are unable to provide the same, this is one of the biggest fault of HDFC Bank as they are unnecessarily harrasing me by putting my name in CEBEL (the bad debt data) which is creating a problem for me, i am unable to pay such a big (fake) amount, please help in resolving the problem

HDFC Bank — unnecessary charges

Hi,

I had opened an HDFC savings account thru reliance money,during account opening i have been told that it will be a zero balance account,but this month bank has deducted some 827 rupees from account stating as fine for not maintaing minimum account balance.
when i contacted bank's customer service they told to maintain Rs.10,000 as minimum balance where as branch officials said it will Rs.2500,it is really frustating and dont know what to do?

one thing i will do is i will close the account but i know this will solve the problem,HDFC bank will cheat other customer.

I am Murugavel S From Chennai.

I had HDFC Credit card and 4 years before I cancelled and the broken card was also sentback to them.

Now I came to know that there is a outstanding of Rs.1200.00 and it is reported to CIBIL. When I came to know about the same immediately I called to HDFC credit card division and debt recovery division and asked about the details of outstanding if any, for settlement, I was shocked to hear that the total outstanding is not Rs.1200.00 and it is Rs.16000.00 Plus.

As far as my record, there is no amount is pending for payment also there is no communication about this around last 4 1/2 years. In between I availed credit card, personal Loan and also housing loan from other bankers, I have no problem with them. Moreover 6 month before I have been sanctioned housing loan from HDFC Ltd.,

This kind of bad business practices should be, monitored by the RBI, consumer's interest must be safeguard.

Here is my story...

My name is P Saravanan from Chennai. My HDFC card number is [protected]. During 2004-05, my salary account was in HDFC Bank, based on that, the bank executive called me and offered life time free credit card. Since it is free I was applied for this card and got it. Afterward when statement came it was charged with annual fee. I was upset and called the customer care and they said they will reverse the fee, based on that belief I made few transactions. But it was not reversed and I was charged with late payment charges and financial charges. I was keep requesting the bank every month for reversing the charges. It was not happened. And I decided to close the card account and paid all the outstanding amount inclusive of late payments and finance charges except annual fee based on the guidance of your officer to close the card account. The officer said the card account will be closed forever if I made that payment. So I made the payment. After that still I received the statements for about three months. Again I have contacted the bank regarding this, they said the account is closed it will take few months to update the system, so they said to ignore the statements. As they said the statements stopped coming after three months. I thought the account is closed.

Now after 5 years last week the bank officer called me regarding this account that my account is accumulated with Rs. 8891 with late payments and finance charges. I got shocked hearing this. And inbetween there is no communication from the Bank regarding this. Also my name is listed in CIBIL. When I was closing the card account I don't know about CIBIL and all. I just believed the bank officers words. What wrong we did to the bank. Why bank is cheating innocent customers like us. If I would have known about the bank's behavior I would have got a NOC during that time itself. I just believed the bank. I have all the statements for my record. I have kept only Rs. 636.53 as my final due against the annual fee.

HDFC — Unnecessary billing amount

Hi,
This is Sohanjeet singh and my credit card no is [protected].
My problem is that I have been charged for wrongly bill amount, actually a health policy was activated which I did not purchased and after long complaining it was cancelled, but will was coming every month and I complaint at customer desk so many times and I were informed it will be solved soonly.
But till now it was not solved and I have been charged unnecessary billing amount, so every month add to late fees also.

Now my credit card have been blocked so you are requested please settlement and activate my credit card so I can use my credit card .

Please look on matter and solve the problem ASAP.
