[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — NWD DEC CHG - Amount Deducted

Hi,

I am having salary account with hdfc 3 times Rs.28 has been charged for more ATM transaction for every single rupee detection your bank should have send a msg for amount detection but without a intimation you people detected the amount.

Is this best bank behavior with the customer ?

I have a salary account in HDFC bank and I withdrew Rs. 8000 cash from my nearby IndusInd bank on 17/02/2016, I have lodged a complaint by calling HDFC customer care number quoting my account number, till date I haven't received my money back. I am salaried by profession and is urgent need of funds at the moment. Please help.

I faced the exact same issue (deduction for NWD DEC CHG a couple of times without intimation by sms or email) and they don't even have a toll free number like other banks do. They keep you on hold for 20 mins and yet no proper response, the call just disconnects after being on hold. This is shady way to do business and i think I have to check all my debits / credits to see if they actually tally up.

I also want escalate on this, ., my money also got deducted, , ., it is not about 28rps deduction, , , as we have the privilege for the usage of the cards of other bank with out deduction for 3 times withdrawals from other bank ATM, this is really a very bad experience with HDFC, ., that to for the online NEFT transaction also charges is there, , , , VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, ., ., ., , even though I had send an escalation mail I did not get any reply

Amount 5000 is getting deducted with the description NWD DEC CHG (ATM Withdrawal charges) eventhough my account was opened as salary account and was said there will be no sur charges for any no of withdrawals from ATM other than HDFC. There were no intimation regarding the policy change if any also. This is very bad and unprofessionalism as a reputed worldwide bank shouldn't be doing this.

i mean i fail to understand why is HDFC bank doing this inspite of the fact it is one of the leading banks, services are not so good and the worst is the deductions that they have, for example :NWD DECCHG 28-05-16 CARDEND[protected] i dont know what this charge is, (ACH DR Return charges 180516) this is another .so its hard to belive and its also not comfortale if the bank is charging small amount of charges which eventually turns out be more than a hundred in 1 month. so either the bank needs to focus on this, or maybe we are wrong .but i personally would have to say when i had a salary account in ICICI it was far much better .

28.75rs is deducted from HDFC bank without prior notice from HDFC salary account.
Bad move from HDFC bank.

In the name of NWD DECCHG dey have deducted 28 rps from my account, dis bloody hdfc bank keep deducting amount from my account for no reasons, i have not even used my card on friday ie 26th aug 2016 still dey have deducted the amount . I need to know the proper reason for your deduction.

Amount 28.75 has got deducted from the current account with the description NWD DEC CHG (ATM Withdrawal charges) even though I haven't used any ATM other than HDFC and used HDFC ATM only for three times.

There were no intimation regarding the policy change if any also. This is very bad and was totally unexpected.
I am very upset with this.Even though it is just 28.75 rupees but this throws very bad image of HDFC.

I also faced same problem. HDFC has deducted Rs 28.75 four times on same day as NWD DECCHG. They should inform first or if not done then at least they should tell the reason of deduction via mail. This is a nuisance and not fair at all.

I have no comment for HDFC.. Not for the tremendous services! But for the ridiculous unethical behavior and being too unprofessional towards it's customer. The bank doesn't mind charging its customer without even a single notice on it. In order to safeguard our money when in HDFC, we need to monitor our account regularly. I think this bank is running out of cash! This bank even charges the amount for withdrawal of our LOAN money by giving a #### reason as "to curtail anti-money laundering." Bloody, that is been granted to me on the base of my request, how will that be an anti money laundering issue! Height of craziness!

I now have an impression of you running the bank with only money laundering.

The worst part is we need to invest a huge money, energy and time for getting those reversed. I havent seen or heard of such an unethical and unprofessional customer service oriented bank. SHAME on their part.

Can someone cancel its license by seeing such a huge complaint list or at least raise a compensation and impose a restriction on this bloody bank?

Transactions declined at other bank ATMs anywhere in the world or at a merchant outlet outside India due to insufficient funds will be charged at Rs 25 per transaction (plus taxes)

plz don not use your ATM card at any ATM machine if you have low balance. If you try to withdraw an amount from your account and amount enter by you is higher then the amount available in your account, then HDFC has right to charge NWD DECCHG. This is payment/withdraw decline charges. Hope you’ll keep this in your mind in near future

I am having the salary account in hdfc bank per month they had cut 3 times the NWD charges 29.50. I don't know why this happen. Total of RS. 88.50/- for a Month they are charging. What is this NWD ? Why they are taking 3times for a month ?

same issue am also facing for 1 time use in other bank atm got charged 190 rupees.its unfair.i want my money back.
