Missed the payment of two wheeler

My name is Agnel dsouza handling a Two Wheeler loan from HDFC BANK Because of my financial crisis i was not able to make the payment so a collection department called me on my mother cell phone which was register on national DNC they called up and starting harassing my mom regarding the payment i had a word with piyush from kanjurmarg branch and he said that i need to surrender my vehicle if i don’t have power to...

I had requested for a personal loan to HDFC customer care. I also received a call from them stating that I allready had an approval of loan amount of Rs.240,000/-. Imran Farooqui was the representative who co-ordinated with me. When I had asked him for a loan amount of Rs. 100,000/- he said atleast you take a loan amount of Rs.150,000/-, then I will be able to give you 1.5% of waiver in intrest rate i.e. from 18% to 16.5%, and after an argument regarding insurance he also promised me for the waiver of insurance. So I agreed to the amount. All this conversation we had on 17th September 2010, and he sent a person to collect my documents on very next day. I called him and asked him whether I still have an offer of 240,000, can I opt for it. He said Yes I can opt for it. then he had applied for the same. and assured me that the amount will get disbursed on thursday i.e. on 23rd September 2010. When I didn't received the amount on Thursday, I called him and asked him for the status of my loan, he said it is still in process. On 25th he called me and confirmed me with the status that My loan amount has been approved by the credit managers and only the verification part is remaining which will be done by Monday i.e. 27th September 2010 and my amount will be disbursed again by thursday 30th September 2010. Today on 28the September I received a call from Mr. Parag Mapankar, He informed me that My loan has been approved for 195,000 instead of 240,000 & for 36 months instead of 60 months with no insurance waiver. When I asked them Why was it done, these people did not have any appropriate answer. Since 17th September 2010 I am asking Mr. Imran that want to talk to his manager Mr. Vivek Gaurav, but it seems that this person is so busy that he is not getting time to speak to his customer or it seems he is not bothered about his customers. The bottom line is I have been cheated & misguided with the false assurance from a reputed organisation like HDFC and nobody amongst the management team is bothered to speak to me atleast or help me out and HDFC has hired such kind of employees in their organisation. I am really very sorry to say about HDFC. I did have a respect for HDFC bank, but because of these people I have lost all the trust with the bank. I have an corporate salary account with HDFC since March 2006 which was opened by tracmail when I had joined. Even today also I am there with the company working as an Executive - Human Resources and We had salary accounts with the bank. I am going to request my company not to have such kind of fraud bankers. I would request you to take strict action aganst the bank and do the justice to me and to the people those who fall prey to this kind of fraud.

HDFC/ Personal Loan — Misleading customer

Hello Sir,

Myself Shatabda Saha, having an account with HDFC applied for personal loan on 24th of November.

I had been contacted by HDFC agent Swati from number[protected].

On 24th they collected all documents and also took 3 blank HDFC cheque from me. I was promised of the loan amount to be transacted to my account on 25th November. After that they never reverted back to me. The person had promised me to give the application number which he didn't give.

Moreover whenever I call them they say either they will call back or they don't receive call or they receive and disconnect the line.

Moreover after following up so much I really got frustrated and and on 28th I called and asked them to return me back my cheques and I had talked to Snehal who had promised me to return the cheques on 29th. But on 29th I got a mail from loan support (as I had put a complaint in HDFC bank for delay) saying that my request for loan has been filed on 28th. They wasted my time and tried to do some wrong thing with my blank cheques.

I am really worried for this incident and want strong action on this.

Looking forward for your urgent help.

my name is jayant wagh. and i have a loan in 2006 for 4year to car loan. i have fully settelment paid money in 5/8/2010. and also n.o.c. received bye courier. in 2010. but hdfc bank do not remove my cibil report in his data. so please remove my all bad default data to the cibil. because my family member has to be problem to consume another bank loan. my loan a/c num.10121886 hdfc car bank loan. please remove my default data in cibil. i[censored] not doing then please inform mi bye mail or call mi .this numbers [protected]/[protected].

    Sub- (a) settlement (surrendering) of my credit card

    This is to bring to your notice that I have been constantly asking your executives
    (last 04 months) about the procedure regarding the settlement of my credit card(no.[protected]).The card is on my sisters name Ms. Samritee Gupta Singhla,she is no longer using the card and is currently out of India.
    Every time I speak to the HDFC executives I am asked to do the min payment, and I am assured that the card will be settled the next month. This is going on since 04 months, but sadly nothing has been done by HDFC.
    This month when I received a call from the HDFC CUSTOMER CARE regarding the min payments. I apprised the executive about my previous talk regarding the settlement of card, but he/she refused to listen and kept on insisting about the min payment.He/She wasn’t ready to listen to what I had to say.I am sorry to say but a reputed bank like HDFC should screen people well before they assign them the duty of customer care. The way I was attended on phone is highly objectionable; the ‘CARE’ from the word ‘CUSTOMER CARE’ was completely missing.

    Sub- (b) misbehaviour/foul language/getting personal on family.

    Today (10.55am, 27/09/2010) I again received a call from [protected]of the same nature, asking for min payment. I very politely requested the CC executive to tell me the net amount I need to deposit, after which my card can be settled so that neither o[censored]s are bothered anymore. But what ever I said wasn’t of any concern to her. She was stuck to ‘min payment’.
    She expressed the desire to speak to Ms. Samritee Gupta (the card holder and my younger sister), I told her that, she is married out of India, and is no longer using the card. Listening to this your CC executive said,’LET ME TALK TO HER AS SHE MAY BE OUT OF INDIA BUT SHE MUST HAVE NOT LEFT THIS WORLD’.
    I don’t think this statement was needed. And it is just not acceptable at any cost. It calls for a written/verbal apology.
    After listening to what she had to say I kept the phone. I again got a call, which was answered by my wife. She again very politely asked to tell her about the settlement procedure, and thereafter the needful will be done. Your CC executive told her, you can’t escape min payments, you can cut the call, not take it, run away from house, India but you will have to make min payments. The CC executive was shouting on top of her volume. Few abusive words were used too, which I need not mention.
    I have never defaulted in making payments or in any other money transaction with HDFC.The only motive now was to surrender the card, for which I was asking for the net money to be deposited, and wasn’t interested in making min payemts.IN NO WAY MONEY WAS REFUSED,A SIMPLE PROCEDURE WAS ASKED.
    I have deposited Rs5000/- in the HDFC account of Ms. Samritee Gupta,to assure my honest intentions.
    I belong to a reputed and cultured business family,we are having 2-3 accounts in HDFC,but such kind of rude/indecent behaviour just not acceptable.

    But I would like-
    (i) A comment from your side on the statement/behaviour of your CC executive.
    (ii) What do you have to say about the way your CC executives are avoiding to give info regarding settlement of card and in bargain asking for payments.
    Kindly look into this matter ASAP n revert.

      A VERY MUCH DECEIVED CUSTOMER....

      I have a de-mat account number 22799181 with HDFC.

      HISTORY: I had purchased 30 shares of RIL in Nov 2007, and sold 24 shares between Nov 2007 and Jan 2008. Thus, I retained a total of 6 RIL shares as on 4/1/08. Also, I had 195 shares of RPL. After amalgamation with RIL, I was issued 12 shares of RIL on 2/10/09. Thus, I had a total of 18 RIL shares as on 2/10/09. Hence, I should have been allotted 18 bonus shares as per the 1:1 bonus issue. But, instead of 18, I was allotted only 12 bonus shares, which were credited to my account on 5/12/09.

      Hence, there is a deficit of 18-12 + 6(bonus) = 12 shares.

      As per the conversation wih people from multiple departments: Demat/ Securities/ Trading Department, I have been thoroughly disappointed by the sorry service given by them.

      To worsen the situation, I would like to bring my concerns regarding the ill-treatment given to me. To me (any customer), HDFC is one entity. I, for one, am unable to understand this discrimination/ diversification among the various units like trading/ demat/ securities. It is quite painful to inform you that I am being made to feel like a complete fool. All that is happening is that I am being toggled among these three entities... Demat says it's Trading Dept's domain, etc.....

      I have to say that this is very problematic situation, especially to keep on explaining the same problem to multiple people again and again, and of course these people will never call u back, even after multiple assurance of checking n getting back. No matter how may mails you drop or how many people you call, they are absolutely unhelpful and unresponsive.

          I lost my wallet today and with it went my HDFC card...i had some other bank cards too but all of them I could block but HDFC phone service was not available. There IVR didnt have any option for blocking of lost card neither did it have any phone banking executive to adhere to my problem. There website claims to have 24*7 assistance for blocking or reporting of lost card.

            I have already complained against HDFC Bank Ltd. dtd. 14th Sep. 2010 with you on the subject matter. However, I have not received any response so far.

            Still the HDFC Collection Centre is harrasing me to pay the loan Installement. For which I have already requesred to them to give me 5 months time. After the period, I have closed my account, which they don't listen.

            Therefore, you are requested to consider my case.

              My daughter who is a widow, operates a Current account No.[protected] in HDFC Bank Dadar, in the name of Farmer Brothers a partnership.
              Without written prior notice or authentic verified legal authority ther account has been blocked for over a week causing businnes and heavy financial loss.
              The matter needs URGENT attention & reimbursement of business & financial loss caused by this action after due process.

                For some personal reasons I had availed of a personal loan from HDFC, since I already had a loan going on with them. Before I had enrolled for the loan, the telly banker used to literally call me on a daily basis.
                Finally, I decided to go for it, and discussed with the phone banker, about getting a personal loan for a tenor of 60 months. I spoke to a girl by the name Surekha, she assured me that, she would have an executive get the documents signed by me and she would fill up the necessary details in them. We went through all the formalities, and she called me and told me all the terms according to a 60 month tenor loan. But, when I get the confirmation letter from HDFC I notice that for some weird reason my tenor showed 36 months and my EMI had gone up by more than Rs. 3000/-. That came as a shock to me, as it threw all my budgeting for a toss. I called up Surekha to ask her to get it corrected, but I that I got was a run around. Finally, I got exasperated and threatened to close all my accounts with HDFC and mention in the foreclosures forms the names of her and her credit manager. That is when she finally proceeded to get another document processed and assured me that things would be fine at the end of it.
                But, alas!!! That was not to be the case. She called me today to inform me that in the first month I would have to pay 2 EMI one for Rs. 9741/- and the other one for Rs. 6332/- and the one for Rs. 9741 would be refunded in 15 days time. This was ridiculous, I was getting impacted because of an error on the part of the bank official, and the bank would not even pay me the interest for the 15 days that would be using the funds.
                I have now decided to get all my loan accounts with HDFC closed and never bank with HDFC again.

                  HDFC recovering females useing voulgure languages calling from number[protected] and[protected] used voulgurte languages and misbahaved with me for this am mentally disturbed how can a reputed bank gave jobs to illiterate fellows.
                  The worst part, these call i am getting for none my default or due payment in hdfc. i am getting this call for some neeru kapoor , whom i dont know at all. I told the caller that i don't know any neeru kapoor, but repeatedly she is calling and asking for her number in abusing language.
                  I am a very old customer of HDFC Bank. So, i request to HDFC to please look forward on my request.

                      Hidden charges

                      Dear HDFC Manager,

                      I have taken a car loan last year for which the HDFC agent has taken some hidden charges (INR 2000) without my knowledge, I came to know about this only when i went to showroom to take my car.

                      Later when i approached that agent he said that its showroom dealer charge and i have to pay it to dealer and when i asked dealer they said there is nothing called by dealer charge.. for the past...

                      Hi,

                      I am receiving some Calls for my HDFC credit Card payment from Yesterday, I was nto able to receive the calls yesterday as I was out of office and the calls were landing on my landline number, This morning they called my office number and spoke to the receiption guy with very abusive language, I want to register the complaint against the bank for the same.

                        I have not used my debit card after 14 Sep 2010 for sure, today (21 Sep) I went to withdraw money and came to know that some amount was deducted from account stating this ..

                        The card was with me all the time, I am the only user of my debit card. When I called customer care they told I have withdrawn money from some ATM other than HDFC therefore NWD-[protected] is coming in narration, which I suspect is wrong information provided to me. Please help me in resolving this ASAP.

                          My name is Saket Agarwal and policy number is 12183025.
                          HDFC insurance is deducting huge charges on various count in this policy and when I ma requesting the details, they ae not sending the same on email.
                          a) I have premium for three years and want details of policy as on date with monthly details of deuction on various counts since inception.
                          b) I have premium for threee years, so can I withdraw for this policy without paying surrender charges.
                          c) Everytime I call at the toll free number,I am told that the system is under maintenance. You can check records, 5 times I have called up, still I have not been provided with login id and password for my account service.what kind of service is this?

                            I bought an insurance for my car on 10 Aug 10. As per my bank statement, HDFC ERGO encashed the cheque on 18 Aug. It is 20 Sep today, and there is still no sight of the Insurance Policy. The agent doesnt pick up the phone. Registered an online complaint with HDFC ERGO on 10 Sep. On 14th they replied and asked me for my previous policy which I sent on the 15th. Till today, am still waiting for a response. I DREAD TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I EVER NEED TO MAKE A CLAIM. Listen, all you nice people, who take the trouble to check the CONSUMER COMPLAINTS website..take note of my experience with HDFC ERGO, and never ever insure with them.

                            I bought an insurance for my car on 5/10/2010 HDFC ERGO encashed the demant draft on 5/10/2010 It is 15 Oct today and there is still no sight of the Insurance Policy. my vechicle no is KL07AJ5479.My previous policy no is VP[protected]
                            The company is not serious about sending renewal of policy. I bought my vehicle bearing number DL 3CBF6932 on 28.8.2009 from SAMARA HYUNDAI, Lajpatnagar, New Delhi and for renewal of the policy with HDFC ERGO on 27.8.2010 paid SBI Cheque no.888127 dated 26.8.2010 for one year i.e. upto 27.8.2011.

                            I am very much disturbed about not getting my car policy till date despite several telephonic contacts to concerned persons in SAMARA HYUNDAI, Lajpat Nagar and HDFC ERGO office in New Delhi.

                            Previous policy number of my car is VP[protected].

                            In case no response received, I will be compelled to go to consumer court for redressel of my grave problem.

                              This is the most disgusting experience of my life. I have an auto loan running from HDFC bank and started getting calls last week from a DST in Paharganj number [protected] for ECS bounce charges.

                              The person calling claims to be a Branch Head who can't draft a single sentence. He has no knowledge of the outstanding and keeps asking for cheques of different amounts.

                              Initially a lady called me and got a cheque of Rs 429 picked from my residence. Later I was told I have to pay Rs 947 more without confirming months of delayed payment. As far as my knowledge goes there was only one bounce in July since I was shifting my residence and couldn't deposit cash in my account.

                              When I asked him to confirm the correct amount and whether he was calling directly from the bank he started abusing and has been harassing me with constant calls. I have lodged a complaint with consumer forum and wanted to let you know too what kind of partners the bank has tied up with.

                              To my shock and horror a lady called Sandhya Nair writes to me in reply to an email i wrote for the complaint stating that they are VERY SURE they follow protocalls for calling customers. here's the email she wrote:

                              Dear Ms. Sood,

                              Thank you for writing to us.

                              This is with reference to your e-mail dated September 18, 2010.

                              The total amount overdue in your account is Rs.492.00.

                              We request you to submit a cheque for the above overdue amount in favor of HDFC Bank Ltd Loan Account No. at any of the nearby Retail Asset Branch.

                              To find your nearest Retail Asset Branch, please visit www.hdfcbank.com and select Retail Loan Service Centre from the drop down menu under the banner 'Find your nearest'.

                              In case you are unable to visit the branch in person, you may submit the same through courier or post to any of our Retail Loan Service Centres with attention to the Operations Manager.

                              As regards the calls/visits by Collection Agents, these are as per our process of investigation/ recovery of overdues. Our Agents operate under strict guidelines on the tone and tenor of interaction with Clients and you are requested to provide specific details, if any, of the alleged misbehavior. In any case, the inconveniences to you in the matter are sincerely regretted.

                              As you are aware, EMIs are set at the time of disbursal itself and no interim change or suspension / postponements etc are allowed. Furthermore, delay in realization of EMIs also leads to accrual of charges relating to EMI bounce / delayed repayment.

                              Going forward, kindly ensure that the residual overdues, if any, are cleared without any further delay and installments are paid on the respective due dates. This will help avoid such problems in future.

                              the funny thing is after harrassing a customer through two days, she has the audactiy of asking for more "references" for new customers !!!! DISGUSTING ! their senior management doesnt seem to be bothered to reply either !

                              HDFC — Misguiding and Harressing

                              Sir,
                              Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Prabhakar Kumar Srivastav, am a bonafied resident of 25/4 East Ghosh Para Road, PO & PS Jagatdal, In this matter I want your kind attention towards me.
                              I needed Home Loan to purchase a Flat near my resident. I applied for the loan in several banks including HDFC. Its representative walked down to me and started misguiding me again and again. I did all the thing required and said by the Executive, he even made me pay advance money make dead etc. All my documents are valid and upto the mark. than I was told that I will be given 85% of the total money and rest i have to show it in my account. i being a salaried person gave the bank statement of my Salaried account and as per the guidance of the executive and the senior hdfc staff I did the requirements and arranged for the rest money around 60 k from my relatives who had earlier taken it from me. I was told to give thier Bank Statment and their written consequence that they have given me this money.
                              Sir, I did all that was required. Now today after 3 weeks of misguidence and harresment the HDFC has rejected my loan when I have made payment to the owner advance and did other legal works as per thier requirment.
                              Sir, when I contacted thier senior he did not gave any legal reason and said that he felt to do so he did.
                              Sir, I am in a dilema what to do.
                              Please guide me.

                                With reference to my PF NO. 10855 ,and my EMP ID 10855 i was working with HDFC STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE co. I had left the company and submitted my resignation with their HR DEPTT. Personally in written and filled up all the exit forms respectively , but after the span of almost 2yrs or so , i have not received my pf withdrawl and full and final settlement from their side. even though i have not received any satisfactory answer or reply from their hr deptt.

                                I am very much in need of these funds , kindly help me to get all the dues at the earliest.

                                  Sub: request for termination of the policy and refund of the money
                                  I came to HDFC SLIC (Rohini branch) for the summer internship programme for the profile of ‘channel development’. But after few weeks, I was pressurized by Ms. LAKSHMI KAPOOR for selling the policy for the company – so that she can meet her targets - though my profile was to hire financial consultants. Then as per her guidelines I dropped a Rs. 6000 cheque at her and she said that she will fill the insurance form on her own.
                                  After some days I received my policy paper ( proposal no.[protected] and now I want to discontinue with this policy due to several reasons:-
                                  1. The policy terms were not according to my requirements. When I got the papers, I was shocked to see the details that my endowment plan – annual premium Rs. 6000 for ten years ( as discussed and finalized with Ms Lakshmi Kapoor )- has been converted to ULIP plan (Monthly premium of Rs 2000 amounting to Rs 24000 annually, payment mode ESC ) . She had filled all the detail in the form on her own in absence of mine.

                                  2. After this called her several times for the rectification of the papers. After few weeks she took the policy papers from me and assured me that she will put it in the operations and it will be rectified with two weeks. Many weeks passed and till date I have not received my rectified policy papers.

                                  3. I called her several times. Whenever I called, I got such replies - “I am out station” , “ I am not well” and “ I am in meeting” , “ your work is in progress, its in operations” .

                                  4. On 20th august, 2010, my bank account was debited with Rs2000 ( monthly premium – though ECS). It means no action has been taken yet on my policy papers.

                                  5. When I told her that my bank account has been debited, she again said that she will check this matter and will post an online request for the refund.
                                  I am studying in B school. I am in fix since past two months regarding this matter only. I have many other academics pressures. Several times I had to suffer my studies for this issue. Had I committed a mistake by taking a policy from HDFC SLIC. Your company is big and it cant manage to handle to such a small issue. Either its your mistake or the mistake of the LAKSHMI KAPOOR. It felt like cheated by investing in this company.
                                  I hereby request to please refund my Rs 8000 and nullify my papers so that I should not be compelled to seek the help of the higher authorities. I am a student and this amount matters me a lot.
