i am neeti mangal & my credit card no. is [protected]. being harassed with your card, i requested for its closure. i just want to know if it is closed or not. kindly intimate me for the same.

Details for the all the communications and settlement talked but not getting response by collection dept. by when the settlement will be clear.
Today I m getting threatned by Advocate mr.Amit that FIR going to launce at Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad Police station if not depositing Rs.65000 before 4pm today.


Below is the letter which had communicated to SC bank officer but could not get resolve.
Ineed the help immediately.
lease advise where im in fault. If this is the method of bank how ... I it becoming difficult for me to live.

HDFC Credit Card — Harassment by HDFC Credit Cards for Payments already made

Dear Sir,
I am carrying a HDFC Credit card (no. [protected]) using which I have bought a laptop last year of 40, 000/- approx. After that I didnt get any statement from the bank and then suddenly I got a call from HDFC Bank charging Rs. 200/- extra as a part of late payment charges.
They sent an executive to my place who readily reversed the late payment charges and accepted the entire principal amount(i.e. 40, 000/- approx in this case).
After that I never got any statement and call from HDFC bank for another 6 months.Then all of a sudden they started calling me that the overdue amount is in thousands as a part of interest having no principal outstanding(i.e. principal outstanding/overdue is 0). When I refused to pay anything they stopped calling me then suddenly they started calling me a month back i.e. after more than a year and said that I had to pay around Rs. 6000/- as a part of interest overdue.
The executive was Mr. vishal and Ms. Megha was the manager (HDFC Bank Janakpuri branch) and when I told them the facts they agreed to reverse the charges and for settlement but they stopped calling me after that call.
After that I followed up 4-5 times with them but the Manager didnt come up and ignored my call. I genuinely want to close this case but seems that they are just troubling by not coming face to face and just harassing me after some time by increasing the interest amount whereas the fact is I dont have to pay a single penny as part of principal amount.
I am really disturbed by all this and want to close this chapter, but seems they are not ready to close this. If somebody can help me in closing this then I will be really greatful.

Dear Sir,

This is to bring under your kind notice, that i have been harassed by some people from Citi Bank Recovery agency, threatening to me and my children too, this is almost 1998 story, since than i was telling them to settle the account thru the help of courts, because i do not trust these foreign bank at all. whatever i have actually used, i am ready to pay but thru court, which they are not agree and threatening again and again.

I am planning to FIR against the Country Head of CITI bank if they will not honor the order of Supreme Court.

HDFC Bank Credit Card — CREDIT CARD SETTLEMENT

I have a HDFC Credit Card . I always made my payment on time but after sometime someone misused my card . I Blocked my card after sometime i received a call from collection department. They told me you have to pay all outstanding balance otherwise ready for legal action. They use rough language during call. That time i was not able to pay all dues. I asked them i want to pay my payment in installment then they suggest me for settlement.That time i had no any knowledge about settlement.
Now i am paying my installment for last 5 month. But i want to activate my credit card. I am ready to pay all outstanding dues at one time if it will activate.
Kindly advice me regarding this problem

I have just got the credit card last month. I just wanted to know the balance of my account and put the
credit card payment cheque in the drop box but the security not allowed me to enter the bank.Juhu Versova Link Road Branch for the balance in the saving bank account as the statement of account you
get very rarely.


This is the very very bad customer service. Now though I got the free of charge credit card but I will be
not using the same. I have never seen Customers from any other bank so ill treated to this extent.
You can cancell my card.

I would like to state that despite my constant reminders to HDFC bank and assurance from your executive abhishek kumar that he will be the sole point of contact regarding my settlement, this has not happened and i am being constantly harassed by the bank from diffrent executives (one being sunanda ghambir) Rajouri garden branch who in the month of may had sent agents 4 times to my house and harassed my mother on the phone.

The bank has not kept its promise of getting one point of contact for me as a customer who is paying his dues and now in july i have a diffrent person demanding for payments . How many times am i supposed to speak to diffrent agents, managers and what is thier authenticity.

As per the below mail you have put in the settlement amount which i have a copy OF and it differs, and what gurantee is ther that next month i will be speaking to the same executive.NONE IM SURE AS THERE IS NO FULL NAME IN THE BELOW MAIL (JUST A NUMBER AND I SUPPOSED TO PAY THE BANK ON THE BASIS OF CONVERSATIONS WITH MULTIPLE AGENTS ).THE MANAGERS HAVE ALSO NOT ASSISTED ME IN GIVING ME INFORMATION ON MY RIGHTS AND PAYMETS MADE TO THE BANK EVEN THE SETTLEMENT AMOUNT DIFFERS???

I have closed my credit card account four years back with all the clearance done.I have evidence also.But a guy posing as your bank's employee is harassing us for the payment.He uses abusive language and threatening calls.So, i m taking this matter to the police and media.

I was the holder of credit card of HDFC bank (Card no. [protected], valid thru 10/08) and I came to know that the there is some over dues are balance on me, but customer care is not providing any details. I am calling to your collection dept no also at Lucknow and Delhi from last 3 days but no body is picking up the ph.

Kindly let me know the dues if any, as per my knowledge there is no any balance.



Kindly advice to your department for connects to me so that the issue/ miscommunication can be resolved. Request you to issue me the NOC certificate.

since i was tired of paying almost every month for many months towards my credit card, i opted for a settlement with the bank through one of their agent( RR solution) & it was decided to pay Rs22000.00 to be paid in 5 installments. The first installment was Rs6234.00 was collected in cash by the agent on 14.5.09 & rest 4 cheques were also handed over to the same person. The bank also debited the amount in the consecutive months of Rs3938.00 till Aug,09 but in the month of sept,09 , the bank put a hold on my account without informing me about it. On my personal enquiry, it was stated that the settlement money is not received by aug,09 thus the settlement is void. Infact at no point of time it was mentioned by the bank that the settlement is made till aug,09 nor the bank had corresponded with us regarding any such conditions. The settlement was done through the agency & when contacted are reluctant to do anything to help us.
I had personally met with the agent namely Mr Vikrant who took me to one of the HDFC bank office at Rajouri Garden. There the bank officer asked me to sign one debit note to clear the matter which i too obliged by signing the debit note for Rs4000.00 & i was assured that the matter is settled. but now i find the bank has taken Rs27000.00 from my account on 16.10 09 without my permission & on enquiry, the customer care people are telling the same old story that no settlement is done so bank has the right to recover the amount.
sir, i have paid double than the amount i might have spent through the credit card but the bank is still charging arbitrarily. I have cleared the settlement amount of Rs 22000.00 even after that the bank is forcibly recovering money from my salary account. More than anything else the bank had never intimated me about any such clause in the settlement rather they kept on receiving the money which i paid to the agent on 14.5.09 & the cheques subsequently debited every consecutive month.
No settlement letter was sent to me by the agency or the bank.I was told that a final letter would be issued only after the total money is paid so i was expecting the letter to come on sept,09 which was the last payment through cheque.
The bank is now playing tricks by mentioning all false reasons & deliberately harassing me to extract money. My salary account is with the same bank that so why they are forcibly recovering money. I'm a simple lady & will prefer to live with peace so would request you to look in to the matter and help me getting back the amount which the bank has taken forcibly from my account.

HDFC Bank Credit Card — Settlement

My name is Sandeep Harit. I am holding a HDFC Bank Credit Card No. [protected]. I have a serious complaint reg. the settlement of this card. First of all there was an issue regarding some extra charges put by HDFC which was not waived off even after serval commitments from their end. So because of this I stop paying them as per their unreasonable charges. Then after serval months this amount become more then double. Then they finally called me up for settlement. I had all the good intention to pay whatever I have spend. Then I asked them to settle my card in Rs.30,000/- . But in April 2009, I got a call from HDFC representative who was in touch with me that It is settled in Rs. 70,000/- but I was not agreed on this. He said that he is again sending the request for the other approval but there must be at least 7 days difference between approval & next request. In the mean time he asked me to pay an interim amount of Rs. 6300/- then I got call from this guy again after 10 days that he had got the final approval of Rs. 52,000/- which was also extra as per my exceptation but anyhow I was agreed on this as I want to clear it asap. But I did not receive any letter from bank. I paid again Rs. 6,600/- in May 2009 from that day I am continuously paying. In the month of October 2009 balance was Rs. 11,100/- .Then I asked them to give me some undertaking that it is my final payment towards the settlement. But from their end they tried everything to convince me that bank can’t give you any undertaking or letter but this I will get this with in next 4-5 working days from Chennai directly. Then I started getting calls from different-different person that I should pay & I will definitely get the letter with in 5 days of the payment. Then one of them told me that my outstanding is Rs. 29,000/- then other one told me it is Rs. 24,000/-. When I enquired about it then I came to know that my first settlement of Rs.70,000/- was done in April & second of Rs. 52,000/- in June. Which was informed to me with in the difference 10 days only, actually have 2 months difference. So whatever I paid in April & May (Rs. 6300 + 6600 = Rs.12,900/-) can not be included in my final settlement of Rs.52,000/- . I was totally surprised that I was paying in blind faith from last 6 months. I strongly objected on this then one of them told me that all of others were calling from DSA and she is calling directly from branch. One of them also threatened me that If I will not pay this amount of Rs. 24,000/- then whatever (appx. Rs.41,000/-) I had paid in last 6 months towards the settlement will become ZERO and they will recovery agent for the full amount till that day. I was totally shocked after listing this as it was a clear threat that either we have to pay according to them or they are free to take any action either you right or wrong. This is also very surprising that everyone calling me saying the same thing that he/she is directly calling from branch & all others are from DSA. She told me that there was some mistake in communication & my outstanding is Rs.11,100/- only. So again I told her to give a letter or undertaking at the time of payment itself that it is my final payment & if she wants me to pay in cash I am ready for that also. Then she told me that this will take some time & month end is approaching so requested me to pay at least Rs. 5,000/- imdtt. and I can pay balance Rs.6,100/- by 10th November 2009 after getting the same letter. Again in blind faith I paid them Rs.5,000/- on 30th October 2009. Now in this month I need to pay only Rs. 6,100/-. Then I got a call from them again on 3rd November 2009 regarding the payment of balance of Rs. 6,100/- then again I asked them to give the letter that it is my final payment. She again insisted me that It is my final payment & bank can not give any letter in advance but I will definitely get this with in 4-5 days of payment. I told them clearly that now I am not going to pay until unless I got this letter. Then she told me that she is arranging the letter & will call me after 2-3 days. Then now from 9th November I am again getting same kind of call from different- different people claiming that they are calling directly calling from Bank. They are calling me in every hour & saying that I have to pay Rs.19,000/- & bank will not give any letter and also if I do not pay this in next 24 hrs they will cancel my settlement & Rs.46,000/- which I had in last 6 months will not be counted in any payment. I totally out of my mind that what should I do. I am really hearted the way they are treating me. I am still ready to pay final payment of Rs. 6,100/- against the confirmation letter of full & final settlement. Because I am sure that if I pay them this money today without any letter, they will definitely insist me to pay Rs. 13,000/- or more then this. I am planning to go consumer court finally as I did my best settles this in a peaceful manner but they are trying to cheat me from day one. I will appreciate if somebody can advise me a better way.

Still no action taken from your Bank. Even I have not any call regarding my complaint. HDFC people used to call me 20 times in day from different different place with cheap & worst words when they need the payment. But now they do not have time call me. Please treat this as very urgent & close the chapter.

I will wait to hear you this otherwise I will also be forced to leagally against you through RBI as per Indian Constitution.

This is the biggest cheating. Yesterday I got a call that my settlement has been cancelled becoz it was valid till OCT'09. I was never been informed the same in past. You people are telling me at last stage when I had already paid Rs. 46, 000/- in last six month against my settlement. Now I understandf that this is your pre planned thing to chaet to simple & genuine customer. This is not acceptable at all. As per my records I had paid all the money to HDFC. As I informed you that I have a balace of Rs. 6100/- due on my side which I am still reday to pay this against the NOC from their end. Otherwise as per my details I had already full amount as per your commitment to you.

Now onwards I will not let them cheat me again in future. HDFC bank is the biggest chor credit card company in India.

HDFC Credit Card — harasement

My credit card (HDFC BANK) NO [protected]

Since the issuane of the credit card,I have shopped not more than Rs10000.00 and ceased to use the card as it was untraceable.How ever my balance outstanding rose to Rs35000.00(?) in the february 2008.I paid the instalment every month @ Rs1800.00 per month since March2008. regularly.However,despite my regular deposit,the balance outstanding is increasing day by day.I have requested the Bhubaneswar Office to block the card and to issue me statement of accounts from the date of issuance of the card till date to enable to verify the transations.But they did not care for it.I requested to arrange for a onetime settlement of the debt.But,they refused to do so.I feel,some officials of Bhubaneswar Centre are misusing my card pin and making the balance to go high.

I may threfore request to kindly (1) block the card(2) issue me a statement of account from the date of issuance of the card(3)to do onetime settlement of the debt.

HDFC BANK (Credit card) — Harassment by HDFC Bank

Hi,

This is Vishal. I had a credit card No. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX from HDFC Bank from past 7-8 yrs. I'm not using that credit card from past 8-9 months but making payment of minimum balance, now there was some outstanding on my a/c which I didn't pay Because I’m out of job & not financial sound.

Now I am getting calls from (Tel. : No. [protected]/ 43145300/[protected] the HDFC Bank (a Lady) and she harassed me & my family members and telling me to borrow money from relatives & neighbours or whosoever, she even call my wife & threatening her that if I’m not able to make the payment she’ll ruined her Job.

The credit card is issued in my Name and neither my wife nor any of my family members is supposed to do anything with my credit cards.

The Lady infect threatened my Mother whose (65+) & my Father whose (75+) to make the payment on my behalf more over that lady is harassing my sister-in-law, my brother & my 13yrs old nephew.

Please tell me what should I do?

I am the Sales Executive of HDFC BANK, Sec-62, Noida branch(UP) & My employee code is CA24457. I have done with HDFC BANK from 5Feb.2010 to 14 May2010, now i want to give the resign from the post but my SM Mr. Himanshu Srivastav is not accepting my Resign & He is saying that he will demand from organisation to terminate me. It is not fair as per policy. He has also given my salary after 3 months due to this I want to give the resign.
