[Resolved]  HP Compaq — compaq service center

Hp and compaq both are providing product of lower quality in india.I have bought a laptop compaq 6211au in 2007for 40000 Indian rupees(800$).It was stop working in 2008 only after 12 months.After replacement of mother board (which i think they have replaced with other faulty mother board.)again start giving problem within 2 months and in 2009 january my laptop stopped working completly and my warranty was over .when i tried to get replacement of mother board it was costing me around 15000.So i have used that laptop for 15 months on price of 40000 means 2666 rs per month. now price of that laptop is 0 as motherboard is not working.I have searched on internet and found thousand of reports of errors and problems for HP/compaq laptops.I think HP/compaq delibratly using low grade parts in there laptops/desktops.Indian consumers should totally boycott there products.

HP Compaq — Non replacement of parts under warranty period

Last year I have bought a HP compaq laptop from the dealer in dimapur but now it is showing problem with my hard drive which has to be replaced. With the help of the dealer I have send it to service centre at guwahati as there is no service centre in dimapur, but they didn't replace my hard drive. Firstly they delayed in delivery of laptop and today when my laptop reached to me I am facing the same problem. I have again send it to the service centre, but it is just a type of fraud, they provide us warranty of 1 year and within warranty period I am facing the problem so whats the guarantte that the product will work properly in future. They dont even replace the part in warranty then what will happen in non warranty period.I am angry not for the replacement but they wasted my precious time. They took 20 days but without any result. Hard drive just costs nearly Rs.2000 but question is not about the cost but the question is why they give us the warranty if they dont want to provide service and charge us for warranty at the time of purchasing.

HP Compaq — getting late

sir i have a compaq laptop and it is in warranty now. but before some days (about 8 days ) my laptop adapter has dammaged and i have given it to service center and my exam being at 27th of july and i was preparing for this exam since last year.and i cant do any thing without my laptop. service senter does not provide any alternate for me and make me fool.so i facing lots of trouble plese do something and reply me fast.
