I have applied for HSBC credit card, but due to some reason, they are not able to compile my card, I request to HSBC Bank, plz send me back my documents, and I request not to release credit card ,

If they release card on behalf of me, I will file case against victum, bcoz I have informed by bank, that I am not eligible to have card. SO it is my heartly request!

I am using the hsbc credit card for the past one year.credit limit 50, 000.
i requested the hsbc bank to convert my spent money into emi when i scratched the card rs 25, 000, i informed them 4th day that the money has to be converted into emi but the bank dint do that, if it has been done it might be very useful to me.till now i have use the card to the limit, but now i am not able to pay the amount regularly, please suggest me an idea that if thers is any way to pay the amount 3 months once and close the card, the bank is making phone calls daily, but due to my financial problems i am not able to face it, some times my mind changes and try to attempt suicide, please suggest me some ideas as soon as possible thru mail.

HSBC Credit Card — Issue Tata AIG insurance without my knowledge

I am HSBC credit card holder.On 23th June 2008, I have receieved a TATA AIG insurance .I was shocked to know that the HSBC bank has made this insurance and i don't know whom they have made nominee and an amount of 225 has been deducted from my card without my knowledge.
i have got a sms to deposite minimum 275 rs. please let me know my card status or card statement immidiately.
i have applied for credit card so please let me know what was the status.my mob. no -[protected].

Respected Sir, I got The Hsbc Credit card on Jun or July 2008. Till this date i did not purchased anything by ur cr.card. But from July 2008 i have been receiving debited bill.
Already i informed about this in customer care[protected] and they told that the bill will be cancell.

Credit Card — Status regarding Credit Card

I want to now status regarding my credit card and my application or reference no.[protected] and i received ur sms on dt 13.11.08 and sms was it will take 21 days to process your application
I Have applied for the credit card in last month & still no verification or any further communication is been carried out regarding the status.


please confirm immediately.
I didnt receive my statement for the last three months
I am not getting my statements on time. I spoke to a customer support executive name Mr. Aadithya. He promised me that, he will send me the statement. But still now there is no respose. No proper customer service in HSBC. They are keeping up the promise.
Sir i am using a gold credit card HSBC . Your agent said whatever you purchased have tranfer into 0% EMI . When i purchased a commodity through credit card on NOV'09 for Rs.54100/- . Your customer care denying for 0% EMI.After long conversation with your customer care department for nearly 2 month no solution in this regard. for last one week one phone came from bombay Telephone no[protected] called she is Sonia Asst.Manager in Bank said that please deposit minium amount 2856/- and I will request customer care department to transfer your rest of amount into EMI .but after made the payment by my side your custmor care department said the amt not transfer into EMI and now your total outstanding is Rs.60000/- till date.

Please look into the matter.

HSBC Credit Card — Regarding credit card

I have applied only for HSBC credit card and credit card department dispatched with payorder (Rs. 4000/-). Whenever i want only credit card. After that i have contact to HSBC call center and told the customer care executive to cancel my payorder. He suggested me to go any HSBC Branch and cacelled your payorder, then i waived off your processing fee against payorder. I went HSBC Noida (Sector-18) Branch and then cacelled payorder. After that i again contact to call center executive, someone told me that you have contact to recovery branch. Call center executive neglected me to gave any help or assurance.

Till today they send me message for payment with interest. Whenever i haven't swipe HSBC card and also not received any statement. I have already using HDFC credit card but still i haven't any problem with this card.

I request you to please take action against HSBC credit card department and not harassing any people.

I call below no, for inquired about what these charges are deducted, he said he does not know that. This is "Legal" department. And I have to pay the charges. I said you must listen to my complaints before even asking me about the payment. He said that he does not time. When I said its OK, he can disconnect call.

I am requesting you kindly treat my policy has cancelled and returned the money what has been debited in my statement

I am brining to your kind notice that I have communicated regarding cancellation of the above policy starting HSBC card hold, but unfortunately, your bank has been directly deducted amount from HSBC credit card with out my permission. I surprised, till date I have not received any statement from your side for depositing the amount. At the last minute, I receive a information from HSBC banking and inform to pay immediately.

I had applied for HSBC credit card last year 2008, with in few day there was call from Hsbc If I want to clear my other bank credit card payment
I told yes & with in few day I received Rs.3000/- cheque & bill of 3000+500++500+800( insurance tata aig) .
I immediatly called to your call center & came to know that I made mistake, when asked I dont want this cheque (of 3000/-) they told me
to surrender cheque to local HSBC brach, They also promise me total charges will be deduted but not the 800/- which is for insurance of TATA AIG

Finally I surrender cheque of Rs3000/- & credit card to Borivali branch

Next bill I received with 800+ other charges, I again call to yrs center they promised me that Next bill will be proper
But now the bill reached above 4000/- without using CARD,
ONE fine mornig there was call from YOUR HSBC DELHI branch ( DURGA SHARMA Tel:[protected] saying that she is calling from recovery department
& we r ready to do settelment .I told her to send me settlement letter But she cheated me by saying its not possible for her to send settlement letter untill I pay the amount of Rs.2150/-
I told her again I need some confermation, I was unaware that Durga sharma is cheating & I made the payment on 15th april 2009
Untill know I have not received any letter of settelement from HSBC nor Durga sharma is avialable on phone
today i recievd bill saying receivd Rs.2150 & pay the balance amount asearly
Please help me Or I will approach Ombudsman

I am not using the HSBC credit card since I had received it. My HSBC card number is [protected]. HSBC has tie-up with TATA AIG Insurance co., I never had shown my interest for TATA AIG Insurance, without my knowledge they had sent it to me. without informing to me they have debited some premium amount. without my any confirmation HSBC added charges for TATA AIG Policy in my account. I called several times in HSBC collection department, Tate aig customer service and hsbc customer care for last 1 year. They said the charges will be wiped off but all in vain. Now they are adding finance fees & insurance installment each time & sending me First statement 10th April. I have very surprised, when I saw the stetment,
Can You Suggest me when I have not used HSBC card and not any insurance received by your side (Tata Aig), How can this possible the money reflect, and what meaning of Settlement Piz reply me immediately, I faced problem by your side in last 1 year, I tried to call and mail so many times for unnecessary charges given by you, Till now I did not get any suitable answer from HSBC.

I had a credit card no . [protected]. This is a case 2 years ago . i called up hSBC customer care and request to total due payment. HSBC official confirmed the payable amount to be approx 17000 which i paid immediately by cheque. after one month i received a revised Credit Card statement from HSBC showing balance of INR 1500 which i refused to pay . now HSBC is sending the statement with increased amount of INR 11, 000 with interest. I called HSBC official many time to stop this and settle the entire account, hsbc official agreed to close the card with final payment of INR 2500 but till today no official has come to place to close this and they are sending HSBC statement.

I was a customer of HSBC Credit Card no. [protected]. On December 2008, I got a call from Mumbai HSBC Executive that TATA AIG has launched a scheme especially for HSBC Credit Card holders. They told me about TATA AIG POLICY plan in April 2008. In my first reaction, I clearly told them that I am not interested and cannot afford this policy. Again after 5 minutes another person called me and said to read manual first then if I did not interested for that then I can do cancel these policies within 2-3 weeks. I said OK and I satisfied because I have never any message nor courier from TATA AIG Insurance,
Then after a ONE YEAR on April 10/4/2009, I received a courier from HSBC. When I have opened these HSBC STETMENT I have very surprised I saw that some amount (8, 226) for pay
Were only for 1 year (which was not in my noticed by the executives, they misguided me). Immediately, I have decided that the amount of these policies is too big and it can not afford my pocket. I called, immediately to TATA AIG toll free no. But no body was picking up the phone and it was always busy. In second action, I called to HSBC help line, but they said clearly that they could not help on this case because it is a TATA AIG case and they can not do anything on it. I was SHOCKED and SURPRISE that on one hand HSBC’s executives introducing there customers TATA AIG policy plan, now they are saying they cannot do anything! In my third action, I sent a mail to info.hsbc.co.in to cancel my policies.
I got a mail but this is not help me also,

Keeping the above facts in view your goodself is requested to help me out of this problem as I am mentally very disturbed with this.

I request you to do the needful and clear my account by reversing the whole amount otherwise I will have to escalate this issue Banking Ombudsman for mental harassment.

This letter should not fall to deft ears. This is a plea from a bleeding customer.

HSBC — Without my permission they are transfer money to some other customer

Hi,

This is Sandeep Y, this is regarding trnsfer money from my account to some other account without my signature and without my card CVV number ( amount transfered Rs : 7393 from my card ).
one thing about HSBC : if they called credit card holder they will ask some questions about the card holder..questions like :
what is your mother name ?
what is your date of birth ?
what is your company name ?
what is your card number ?
what is your phone number ??

but without card CVV number or card holder signature they will do transfer money to some other custmer :) exactly this is happend in my situation..:)
without my signature they are transfer amount to some other custmer int his month.
please do the needful action on this matter..:)

I have not received any statement (NOC) and nor cancel letter of Tata aig insurance till date. Plz provide me NOC letter and Cancel letter of Insurance and also plz suggest me what is amount Rs 339. As you know that I have not used your card and not adopt any policy of tata aig.

I had a credit card from HSBC Bank having No[protected].The application for this card was brought by one of the bank's agent saying that their will be NO annual charge. We signed the form on this pretext. When we received the first statement dated 15/05/08 we found out that a charge for PROTECTION PREMIUM Rs 505.62 has been levied in my account without me even knowing about it. Since then I have been calling the customer care and they have been saying that next time it will be waived. But in every statement such amount along with the charges, intrest etc are being debited to my credit card account. My all the calls and request have gone in waste plus such statements have been a reason for harrasment and mental depression. During this I lost my job where such statements used to come. I have been receiving calls from some unidentified numbers saying that they are from collection department of HSBC and want to make settelment of the amount for which I have never asked or services that I have never received.
After one year of suffering I now request you to kindly make my account as zero balance since I have not received any of these services which have been debited to my account and since my account been closed.
My HSBC Card no. is [protected]. The Bank has charged me Rs. 700 for Membership Fee & Rs. 300 for Add on Card Fee. The Representative have told me there are no charges for this classic card at the time of applying. But now they have charged what is this. I would'nt have applied for this card. if you people are making these nuisances, how the customers will rely upon the Bank. Look at it immediately.

Dear all,

This HSBC Bank is just like blood sucker ghost. I have received settlement letter two months before in May 2009, still the bank is sending me statements again and again. They charge unknown charges+taxes+finance charges+late fee charges+other charges and so on...!! What is this nonsence?? Earlier they have made me enormous calls and their call centre's executives talk like rubbish. They don't hear our talk and speak in rudly manner. I will file a suit against this bank 100% sure as my maternal uncle is a megistrate in consumer form. I would like to request Mr. Mandal of India Today Group to contact me on [protected] so that we can also publish a news against this bank.

Dear Sir,

Myself Sagar Mal Rathi, Credit card holder, card no. is [protected]. Mr. Nitin [protected] ( Executive of Recover Dpt. HSBC bank) came at my home and after discussion the settlement amount was fixed at 15200 on 26/8/09. Due to good faith on Mr. Nitin i dint read that settlement letter & just issued 3 PDC cheques to Mr. Nitin of dated 25/08/08 ( Rs. 1000), 15/09/08 ( Rs. 7000) & 20/10/08 (Rs. 7200). After 3 months of clearing all my cheques i received a statement from HSBC of Amount Rs. 2, 00, 000 after deducting the amount of 15200. Then i read again my settlement letter and i came to know that the settlement amount was fixed in letter 15220 instead of 15200 due to Bank mistake. I informed to Mr. Nitin about it many times but he is not giving me proper reply from last 9 months. Due to Only Rs. 20 my card is not settling & still i am receiving monthly statements. Its my polite request to Bank that Settle my credit card in 15200 which i have already paid mentioned as above & also stop to sending me monthly statements.
Do the needful as soon as possible.

I am holding card no. [protected], I bought laptop from Pune with a intension to pay on monthly EMI but to my surprise it was denied without any good logic. From last few months i am trying to pay more than min. due it may get late by few days but I think it is being collected before making of my statement for next month. Again a negative response.
From this month I am trying to settle down, so from this month I am stopping the payments till either I get benefit to pay my dues in some installments and settling of my all late fee also.

Even after card closed on sep 2007 without any information they are keep on adding services charges upon a small due (already paid those service charges before I close the card) now it becomes 35k.

Wondering that HSBC did not sent any SMS, Post, EMail on the due statement from Sep 2007. For some reason we understand that the current outstand due is 35k. This is a corporate cheeting. I will fight aginst this.. We only came to know that we have a due on this card, HSBC bank never sent any communication from setp 2007. I will be take this issue to cousumer court/forum.

ALL OF MY FRIENDS SAYING THAT YOU WILL GET LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH HSBC CREDIT CARD. REAALY IT IS VERY BAD TO THE CORPORATE BUSINESS.
I am regularly getting threatening calls from the Collection department (2-3 calls everyday on my mobile and Office landline number) for payment of the disputed amount.

I am holding HSBC credit card and i used to pay my minimum amount through collection agents called sai seva in basawangudi. The collector has cheated me by taking Rs. 2000 from me and writing only 1000 in the pink slim and overwriting the amount of Rs. 2000 only in the white receipt and took my signature.

Its a kind notice and information to all, If anyone has given the credit card payment to collection department, pls. recheck your amount entered, if any mismatch pls. log a call to HSBC immediately. These collector has be punished severely. I am very disappointed by this HSBC collection department, they are aware that the collector has done this, but they are not able to take action on him. These collector should be punished severly by taking hard actions, They will get punished one or one day. So kindly check your reciepts and call HSBC bank ...
My situation was that about same time a year after loaning by transfer money from my account, only by chance by chasing this so called friend's relatives to help me get the loan I had made to him, did I discover that exactly a year from the date of the legitimate loan, a further £13, 000 had been transferred to this so called friend's account.When I raised up the issue with HSBC's subsidiary bank First Direct, I was told that because I had loaned him some money before, I must have made that transfer and forgot about it.I took the matter to court as civil action against the so called friend and won, I am now trying to get some money if the bank still doesn't pay my money which was taken without my consent while under their courtstudy, then I will take the bank to court as well.

Tata-Aig — charging/debiting unnecessary premium from my credit card without my permission and consent

Dear TATA_AIG,

Few months back, I was offered two policies from TATA-AIG which was well under review-conditions for two months and TATA-AIG was charging only Rs. 10 per month for one of these policies (Personal Accident Plan with policy no. YTBTM[protected]. Further payment to TATA-AIG from card could be done only when I accept those two policies. But when I decline those two policies or do not give further agreement to continue those policies, I find TATA-AIG is regularly charging me (debiting from my credit card) Rs. 668 and the amount is deduced regularly from my card on monthly basis. I gave consent to charge me through my Bobcard (Bank of Baroda-Visa) for first two months only, afterwards I have not given any permission/consent to TATA-AIG to charge me as I have not accepted the policies. Despite I find on inquiry by phone that outstanding balance in my Bobcard account is going up from Rs. 3738/- to Rs. 4639/- as the recent bill statement shows charging of Rs. 668/- by TATA-AIG. It is clearly mentioned in the policy document for agreement that TATA-AIG can continue the policy and do any transactions from my Bobcard only on further instructions from me.

The second policy (Accident and Sickness Hospital Cash Policy, policy no. OOHC[protected]) was offered for review of 14 days for which TATA-AIG was to charge me only Rs. 100. At the time of offering the policy, TATA-AIG charged me Rs. 3,807 through my Bobcard and the above mentioned amount was to be reimbursed to the same account of my Bobcard if I decline the offer after 14 days period. Despite I have not given any consent to continue the policy with TATA-AIG, I find the abovesaid amount is not reimbursed to my account.

I wrote two mails to TATA-AIG also to discontinue these two policies (dated: April 12 and April 29 at the email mentioned in the policy document - [protected]@tata-aig.com). But there is no response to my mails, query and decision to discontinue these two policies. My repeated calls to TATA-AIG helpline no.[protected] are not attended by TATA-AIG and the automated response is that all officers are currently busy. I am trying for one month to contact TATA-AIG people, but I am not responded yet by customer care of TATA-AIG who used to call me many times a day when they were offering me policies.
I cannot understand this much insincerity shown by TATA_AIG in continuing transactions and debiting amount from my Bobcard .

Kindly look into the matter and stop unnecessary deduction from my Bobcard by a third party - TATA AIG. Unless any clear instruction is given by me to Bobcard and third party, please check this regular charging of premium or any transaction from my card. If possible, kindly send one admonishment to TATA-AIG in this regard and see if money (total 3708 + 688 = Rs. 4396/-) debited in advance from my account t should be reimbursed in my account duly.


Also, I do not understand how Bobcard is allowing a third party to complete each transaction without seeking copy of agreement from the third party or from the customer.

It was regarding my HSBC Westdie Classic Credit Card No. [protected]. When i entered on Westside Show room in there the HSBC People are asking every person that they are interested in Credit Card. One Executive ask me on Fe’ 2010 – March’ 2010 i am not aware about the actual date for which date i had applied. When he came down and also ask me that sir westside and hsbc are combination so you need credit that i told him that i am already have one credit HSBC Gold but he told me that it is you can take one more credit & also inform me that it was free Card they are no charges for HSBC Westside Classic Credit Card. I ask him twice it free he told me free. On that i also inform him that i dont have any proof. He ask me about my driving licence. So i had gave him driving licence and took the xerox copy and he told me to sign the form even i told him i dont have time to field the form he told me sir that he will filed the form just do sign that time my girlfriend with he also told me not get the one more card. He told me it was free card there are no charges. I received the bill and now they charged Membership Fee. 700. I am ready to pay but why the HSBC Sales Executive telling lie with customer. Please clear my doubt and also reverse my amount Block my HSBC Westside Classic Credit Card. I hope you will help me out regarding for my charged which was done by HSBC Westside Classic Credit Card. on 26 nov 2010 i received a call for policy of tata-aig and it was inormed to me that only for two months i will be charged with Rs 10 only for two months.after that i vl receave a call for further confirmation for continuation of my policy and only if i am satisfy with the policy and then again i vl receiave a confermation call and after my permission only 3rd premium of Rs 688 will be debited from my account.but i received a msg to get debited from my account without my permission.its wrong.plz dont debit any amount without my permission and i am cancelling the policy, cancelletion number-953367.the operator to whom i talk was very non cooprative and rude to talk.he was not cooperatin me and was forcing me to opt for another policy.please take necessary action and ont debit any amount from my credit card.i am not authorising the tata-aig to bebit any amount from my credit card account.plz take necessary action against the operator to whom i talk.

1. It is intimated that credit card No.[protected] have been received and used by me. I paid all bills whatever received by the end of Jan 2010. From then, I never used this card till date. But amount Rs.600/- aprox is still due on me. Please clarify.

2. There is not a single intimation/ reminder given to me by your office and my name has been sent to CIBIL as a defaulter. Due to this i am now in great loss.

I surprise to see that you have charge membership fee even after intimated to cancel and charging finance charges. more over giving missed calls as the bank is is not in position to pay telephone bills.     while taking your telecaller & concern agent confirm me that i can credit amount for the 52 days without any charge.
    i purchaged some item forthe cost of 1175/= on dated 17feb & made my payment through check on dated either 12th or 14 march, i dont know why it was nit get cleared till 22nd April,
    Now I am getting your outstanding of Rs1300/- which was wevered gy your telecaller for the Rs 400/- which is still pending of Rs 900/- Noew issue is...
    1 : I was misguided by your agents for the credit time limit for 52days, doing the query now they are telling after 21st the time limit is only for the 20days. so i have to pay penalty.
    2: I have already submitted my check on either 12th or 14 march why it was credited on 22nd April.
    3 why should i not assume all the things are done to make a earning of Rs 1300/- or Rs 900/- from inocent customer.

    I have already inform to Tata-Aig customer care to cancell my'Family secure personal Injury plan policy which was directly deducted from HSBC credit card with out my permission, many times i requested them to cancell this policy, after this they replied through mail that 'Thank you for your email to us at Tata-AIG. As per your mail recieved, we wish to inform you that your request has been forwarded to the concerned department and you shall be contacted at the earliest' but till now no one is called or no information is received.In this Circumstance they deducted the premeium of April 09 in 05 April 09.
    So please help sot solve this issue early as possible.

    I am being cheated by HSBC and for applying for their Credit card, THEY ARE PROVIDING ME FORCEFULLY A TATA AIG INSURANCE

    I was approached by HSBC Credit card sales staff for applying for their credit card. Once I purchased the card I had never used it. After 1 yr i got a call from HSBC collection department that some 8000 rs outstanding is showing in my name which I should pay back. When i asked them what it is about as i had never used their card.I got a reply that the money was deducted for TATA AIG insurance policy for which their person has taken my approval over phone. i asked them immediately to cancel my card and show me the policy as till date i never received any such policy nor any one informed me about it. There was no reply again from their end. After follow ups with their call centers they told me that the policy has been cancelled and i need not pay any money. Now again after some time their collection agents are calling me and asking me now to pay towards the same policy as interest charges, Where in i have never approached TATA AIG to buy any policy nor i ever swiped my credit card. The policy was purchased by bank with out taking my signatures. Presently I have received a mail from hsbc which mention a fake signature of myself I have very feared for this type of cheating they have misused my credit card number and personal details to raise a false policy in my name and want to extract money.
    I have just a single request. Please waive of these unwanted charges & send me a statement with the Zero amount due for the payment
    I send the request to TATA-AIG Insurance to cancel my policy which I am not interested at all.
    The customer service of HSBC is canvassing for TATA-AIG but when I request HSBC to cancel my policy the told me to contact TATA-AIG Insurance. Is this correct????

    I had taken a credit card from HSBC bank. A ‘lifestyle fee’ (some insurance policy), which I had never applied for, turned up in my credit card statement. I contacted the customer care regarding the same where they assured me that it will be taken care in the next statement and there would be no such dues against my card.

    Even after this, the subsequent statements kept showing the due. On repeated requests to HSBC customer care, each time, I was assured that the problem will be sorted out in the next bill. However, the problem was not sorted out even after months.

    After getting fed up of the disappointing inaction of the HSBC bank in this matter, I requested customer care to close my card. As usual, they once again assured me that the problem will be solved and I need not close my card. And, as usual, no action was taken.

    Finally, I called up the HSBC customer care once again and insisted that my card be closed. It was informed to me that unless the issue gets resolved my application for closing of card will not be accepted. After insisting on a final date for solving this issue, the personnel asked me to contact after 3 working days. When I called after 3 working days, they told me that my complaint as well as my card closing request has been forwarded. I was once again asked to call after 3 working days to check the status of my application. After 3 working days, I checked the status of my application from your customer care and they informed me that the card has been closed and there are no dues against me.

    Despite this, I am receiving messages for "outstanding payment against my card” even till date. On contacting their customer care, I am being directed to the ‘unreachable numbers’ of HSBC Debt Management Department. Even my mails addressing the issue were not answered properly.
    When i had mentioned in my recent mail regarding "RBI Ombudsman " then they have registered the complaint .But now they are claiming that the policy was started on my approval.
    These allegations are false.I have never opted for any insurance policy.

    If I had ever applied for the insurance, I would not have been wasting my time, money and energy communicating so many times on phones, emails etc.

    Secondly, if the policy would have be a part of the credit card package then there should have been any mention of the poIicy in or with the welcome letter and the other documents enclosed.In fact i had never received policy documents.Are these insurance schemes meant to extract money from the customers by cheating them.

    On receiving my first bill, I reported the problem to HSBC telephonically but I was constantly misguided by their customer care executive that the problem will be solved in the next bill.Then Why was I given this assurance, if I, myself, had filled the form and applied for the insurance policy(as stated by the Bank personnel)? Even in one of my last telephonic conversations with HSBC regarding this matter, I was told that the card has no dues and it has been closed!
    I have never used their card even once for the same reason.
    I am requesting you to please look into the matter and provide me the appropriate solution.

      My name is Clinton R Gyles,

      I volunteered repossession on my motorcycle completed yesterday on 03/21/08.

      I am writing to you because I have made a transaction through Western Union MTCN:[protected] to get my loan out of collections and back into payment mode as I was advised from the collections DEPT at HSBC Retail service.

      I really do apologize my account went into collections department. I had fallen into bad times I have made a couple of payments prior to this the, closest month was December. Just shortly my loan defaulted.
      I called the collections dept to try to fix this . When I called the first time I was told I was 121 days past but I did make a payment in December,
      I asked what I could do to fix this the female told me to bring loan up to date and pay all the back payments up yo date $1, 280.90 I agreed .
      I contacted the western union closest to me . They told me it was going to cost ex number of dollars.
      So I called back HSBC Retail service Collections dept, to see if they would do electronic withdrawal from my checking and a different agent told me even if I made the payment of $1, 280.90 that my account would not be reinstated .
      SO I asked to speak to a manager and then that person told me the same thing.
      I was ok with this ... I said come and get the motorcycle ..
      The repossessions company called and they said try to call the HSBC Retail service back and try to work something out.
      I did then I was told the same thing the first time I called ..So I thought they were in fact giving me another chance and I went to make the payment of 1, 280.90 through Western Union MTCN:[protected] went and made the payment I thought this was awesome .Then I called to give the receipt number they put me on hold then came back on and told me even though I made the payment of 1, 280.90 and brought account up to date they said they are still taking the bike . So I demanded my money back and they said call western union .. I said I all ready did they told me to contact you. Then I asked for a manager again they told me THERE IS NO WAY THEY ARE GIVING MY MONEY BACK. and they still taking the bike...

      I tried to make good on this loan why did I get mislead I was being very honest to HSBC RETAIL SERVICE
      I stayed in touch with the repossession and HSBC Retail Service whiles I was applying for loans to pay the bike off. I had gotten now where because HSBC Retail service all ready put it in my credit report..

      HSBC Retail Services — Harrassing Phone calls

      I have sent numerous certified letters to HSBC disputing Late charge fees and sent documentation from my bank to proof that these fees were paid on time. I have followed all of the protocol for filing disputes and In my letters I have requested that they please respond in writing to my disputes. They continue to call at all hrs of the day at my work place and all weekend long. The last time i picked up the phone the representative that I spoke to was very rude and would not listen to anything I had told her . Even after I told here that I had sent disputes in writing. The agreement indicates that while charges are in dispute no late fees can be applied and no negative action to report to credit companies can take place. Yet they are sending me letters indicating that they will report me to credit Bureau and continue to add late fees on top of charges that are in dispute. I continue to pay my minimum due on time.

        I had taken HSBC credit card which I had to cancel after they charged unfair interest charges and late payment charges inspite of paying the amount in full on time.
        Now after I have cancelled the card, they have been sending me bills with late payments charges and interest charges.Now i have been complaining to the customer care, collection department and via emails and complain sections but to no avail.

        I was holding hsbc credit card no [protected], the same was issued as no memebrship card by the dsa, but first year bill came i have sent the broken card for cancellation to the hsbc, instead of cancelling the card they are sending me monthly bills with service charges etc.

        I received HSBC credit-card with an add-on card as well with a letter dated 26 July’ 2007, Ref No. [protected] N. The main card is on my name i.e. Kapil Kathuria, Card No. [protected] and the add-on card is on my brother name Manish Kathuria, Card No: [protected].

        HSBC has not shown their moral obligation of sending an itemized statement of account at my mailing address or through an email ID even after numerous calls to there customer care as well as to there collection executives.

        HSBC lacks proper coordination between there departments which is a shame as per there status.

        HSBC play foul games right from the start when they do not inform the customer of there due dates through itemized statement or a call from there collection executives (We only receive the call when we pass the due date of payment) and then they want to cash on to the late payment fees. This is an act of indecency.

        On 18th January 2008, we received the call from HSBC collection department as well as there customer care for the due amount, we verified the transition over the call and release the payment the next day on 19th January’ 2008 at HSBC Bank, Sector-18, Noida. I have done the last payment of the above mentioned amount despite the itemized statement and an assurance from the customer care that we will receive the statement there after. I have no hassle to pay my dues, it is my duty and my liability but I have the right to know about my transaction details as well.

        Since this is the duty of HSBC. The “The world's local bank”, with 150 Years in India, who mention in depth about there Banking Policies and Fair Practice Codes in there website, they have FAILED MISERABLY on this aspect as well as on the care for a customer which should a prime focus for a bank.

        HSBC is losing this to there competitors who at-least understand there customers and try there level best to solve there grievance and make them loyal and a part to there big family.

        Now at present I am getting numerous HARASSMENTS and THREATENING CALLS from HSBC on the dues of my account. I am holding the amount asking them to release the itemized statement to check transaction of my card as well as the add-on card, which is my RIGHT.

        HSBC should have to make sure that they not only release itemized statements from August’ 2007 to till date but also wave-off the pending late payment fees leveled on my account and on my add-on card as well.

        This letter should not fall to deft ears. This is a plea from a bleeding customer.

        I had taken HSBC credit card but after few months i faced irrelevant charges and interests. I requested to cancell the card and they didn't. After that i destroyed it. Later after one year i got a bill statement of Rs. 40, 000/- to be paid. In which they had shown Rs. 18, 000/- of purchase which i never did and huge amount of interest and that too when i applied for the cancellation of the card.

        HSBC / Credit Card — charges levied on card for no fault of mine

        HSBC has been charging late payment fees, interest etc for no fault of mine. This is happening for last 3 years. Inspite of repeatedly telling them about this issue, there is no action omn their part for reversal of charges. I am getting calls from Delhi from their outsourced recovery department...

        I don't know how to settle this ? As there is no default from my side, making any single payment to HSBC is just ruled out.

        The same things has happened with me.

        HSBC Credit card runs its business that way in India through fraud, threat & irregular financial practices.
        They try to extract large amounts of money from people in middle class families with jobs, to generate work & money for their employees, to grow their company in India.

        As soon as Govt of India and RBI realise that they are harassing people they should be out of business.
        You can either try to negotiate with them else write a complaint to RBi Ombudsman.

        The same case they id with me...I have cleared all my dues and closed the card but they were continusly charging me late payments charges and when I called them for clarification they keep on saying that call this and that number your card is not facilitate here.After 8 months recovery agent called me to for clearance and asked me to pay atleast 1000k to clear everything and I did. But this time again they sent me they late payment charges on increasing amount.

        I am employed with Everest Industries Limited having office at Mumbai. In or about Feb 2006, your marketing representative visited my Thane office and gave demo for the usage features of your card. While I was inquiring about the features of your card, your marketing representative obtained my signatures on some forms and obtained some documents from me for purpose of noting my name as “interested member” for filling inquiry form. Subsequently your Bank Credit Card bearing No[protected] was posted to me at my office address.

        I say that without my using your card, your Bank sent me statement for Rs.210/-.approximately. I say that I immediately called your customer care number putting forth my grievance and called upon them to cancel my card and terminate services with immediate effect. I also called upon them to sent me letter for “No claim”, to which they showed their inability and stated that same is granted only in case where there is any dispute above Rs.1000/-, however they assured me that card is cancelled and services are terminated. I say that subsequent thereof, I have not received any statement from your bank till date.

        I say that from last about 15 days, I am receiving sms from your bank for payment of Rs.4570/- towards aforesaid credit card pending bills. I had never imagine of such conduct from Big Banking Corporation like yours. I say that without usage of your services, how can I be made and forced to pay charges levied by you. I put forth my grievances with your customer care at Ram Maruti Rd branch, Thane who showed their inability to locate my bills and pending dues. They were also unable to provide me any Bank statement though I was ready and willing to bear the cost for same.         HSBC Credit Card — Cancelled the account still got bill

        I have cancelled the card on 4th Jan 09, expected to get the bill with zero amount in it as I have already cleared all the outstanding amount and din't do any purchases later.

        I was surprised to see the bill with Total purchase outstanding and service tax in it. When called the customer care I was told the billing date was on 18 the hence this one. Is this a valid reason!!
        And on top of it he says if you want to pay pay it. Otherwise leave it!. Leave it to add to the interest and their phone calls which are annoying!!

        What does this mean?

        The customer care executives are not customer friendly. Better to avoid HSBC!!!
        This is to inform you that I was an elite customer of yours and i was holding a gold credit card of yours by card number 4384xxxxxxxx4186 by my name "MANUJ KAUSHESH" However while i was applying for a credit card, i was denied saying that CIBIL records suggest that an outstanding of Rs 13315 was reflecting in my account for which the account was Wriiten Off. I had paid all dues way back in 2007 and also The amount mentioned has not arisen out of my purchase and non-payment but for the debits of the annual renewal fees charged by you. Please note that at the time of offering the card your marketing team had given me to understand that the card given to me was life time free of charges. I Contacted your Customer care and recovery departments who said that this was their mistake and would no more reflect. I got an NOC from you but still in CIBIL the record appears as WRITTEN OFF.

        After several repeated requests to your executives, I am unable to get this issue sorted out. Plz note this has affected me a lot as I had been denied Loan and Cards. It is Unethical and objectionable that such a thing I am facing for no Fault of Fine. I request you to issue NOC stating that there are no dues pending in my account and this is not a WRITTEN OFF account but fully paid.

        It is too much for me now as it has started affecting my urgent Loan Needs. This is going to be the final letter to them and if there's no response from the bank and i have to register a complaint with RBI in this regard.

          I hold HSBC Gold credit card (in fact two of them) and I had
          set up an ECS to pay the total amount due directly from my bank
          account on the payment due date. I find that recently in the case
          of a rather large payment (about 1 lakh) they requisitioned ECS
          from the bank 3 days before the due date. Anticipating their bill,
          I had arranged sufficient balance 2 days before the due date, but
          their early requisition took me by surprise and the ECS request
          was dishonoured by my bank. When I learned this, I explained
          to HSBC people and as per their instruction, I submitted a cheque
          for the total amount due, which was duly cleared. However, HSBC
          has charged heavy finance charges and are not willing to reverse
          this. I believe I was not in fault and I am deeply disappointed with
          HSBC for doing this. I am seriously considering going to the consumer court and fight it out. What do the members of this forum think?

          HSBC Credit Card — bad experaince with HSBC

          This is sudhakar HSBC credit card no : [protected]. I had bad experaince with HSBC customer care. In detailed. I have HSBC credit card since last 2 years. while taking this card they informed that there are no annual charages on primary cards and add on cards. when i called customer care to take a reversal of that charges they told that you have not intimated that to reverse those charges. we can return half charges only as u are not using the card. i told them as ill escalte this issue to your higher ops. then they told if you have mailed regarding this then we will not return cahrges even single paisa and do wat ever you want.
          I holding HSBC credit card, i had bad experience with HSBC.. the problem is i used for Just Rs:400 after three month become outstanding amount was Rs:4200 somthing on my account. I was trying to reach them but no one has given the proper info with guide lines.

          I believe I was not in fault and I am deeply disappointed with

            The due amount was not more than 5K. There were payments delayed due to my abroad travel and my relocation from Delhi to Hyderabad, there were huge interest rates and service charges when i was actually notifed after couple of months through a phone call. After this I have gone personally and closed the card with a full and final settlement at their office, they even gave a discuount becaue i was ready to make in one payment and close the card. I have even recieved the closure letter. All this happenned in 2003, after this i have taken home loans, car loans form a ICICI bank, Credit Cards form ICICI and Citibank who never found my name in the defualter List (SATYAM database). Now in 2008 another back which is offerring an NRI loan sees my name in SATYAM database under defaulter list. This is the most rediculous think to happen. Just because the consumer does not know what they do, they just spoil a customer's reputation here. Can some one please help me out. Is there a way to legally sort this out. How can only banks do this, what about customers facing problems with this banks.

            I have made 14 international calls to HSBC customer care, some say they dont have my card number reflecting in the database, some redirect to some collection service, some does not have a clue and they agree the card was closed on a final settlement . Some ask me to write a letter and visit the HSBC branch.Appprecite any inputs my loan processing is held in abeyence because of this careless ness from a HSBC bank.

            How do i come out out of this, my card number is ([protected], closed on 28th 2003 nov).

            Please help, having lived in abroad, I am shocked to be notified after so many years, strange how other banks did not notify me if they had found this. I live in London now, cant even visit or sort this personally through a vist.

Can some one check the site and find out the facts. No bank is telling what is the exact reason for application denial.

            The card also expired, but fue days ago i have called up the customer care to know the status, i was really shocked on hearing that i need to pay 28k. I have called up the collection department in Noida and they told that my card number was not listed there, and they informed me that if i have any due they will get the card number listed in their department. How can i get the solution for this porblem?

            Case 2: I have delayed the payments for ABN card while shifted from chennai to Banglaore, after 12 months i have paid the settelment amount. After that i have applied for couple of credit cards all of them got rejected saying that bad credit history, then i have called up the bank, they told that the name listed as Defaulter and that name will automatically removed after 3 months from the final payment. But even after 6 months no loan getting granted. How can i get a solution for this problem. Is there a way to know still my name is listed thare in Satyam?

            I was holding the HSBC credit card No-[protected] on the name of Mr. Pradeep M Kamble but due to some dispute with HSBC Bank Card I have not made my dues on time but later on I had received Settlement letter from HSBC stating that I have to pay Rs. 2963/- as full & final settlement towards non-payment of credit card dues.

            After that I made payment of Rs. 2963/- vide chq no-423838 dt-23/03/2009 drawn on ICICI Bank. (Receipt No-CPD# 0642907 from M/S. M.D. Financial Services, Mumbai)

            As communicated by bank while making payment of the above mentioned settlement the card holder will not be consider in defaulter list in satyam online.

            But now I have paid full & settlement payment as mentioned above.

            I just wanted to know if my name has reported in satyam online as credit card defaulter list, if yes, request you to please go through the payment details &and remove the same. As I am facing problem with others banks.

              I would like to verify my credit card statement regarding late payment fee for the month of 15th Feb 08 to 14th Mar 08. But I have paid my due at Pondy Bazaar HSBC ATM centre drop box (opposite to Globus) on 4th Mar 2008 11 am along with the balance transfer request slip.

              1) I want to know why it shows late payment fee of Rs.400.00 and service tax in the statement and also I need explanation for my Balance Transfer request.

              2) Actually I have made request to make balance transfer to ICICI bank credit card for the amount of Rs.11, 577. The statement shows for the month of 15 Jan 08 - 14 Feb 08 you have charged BT processing fee and service tax and finance charge and some taxes. But there is no EMI coversion happens. Can you explain how I will pay my Balance transfer fully. I have enquired call centre they asked me to pay minimum balance. So I have paid my second minimum payment.

              Clarify clearly how will I clear my balance transfer in future.

              Further kindly reverse my Late payment fee in forthcoming statement and guide me where should I pay my dues without any delay. Refer ATM Centres.

              Otherwise cancel my card and send final due statement.

              Please response my above queries as early as possible.

              HSBC Credit Card — late charges

              my card no:[protected] for the month of may, against which a late payment of Rs.400 has been charged. The due date was 2/5/2008 and my cheque no bearing 197601 dated 1/5/2008 for Rs.827 was duely deposited in your MG road branch.
              As the cheque was deposited before the due date why has the late charges of Rs.400 been charged. I have also called customer care but, no proper response was given.
              Kindly reverse the late charges as my outstanding on the credit card is only Rs.1000 failing which I would be forced to stop using the card.

              HSBC Credit Card — Overdue charges

              I had paid in advance INR 2050.00 by cheque no:339540 dt 08.02.08 drawn on Bank of Maharashtra. Payment was made ahead of due date 08.02.08. I had informed you in 1st week of Feb 2008 that I am going out of country from Feb 08, 2008 and will be back only in June 2008 so wanted to pay all dues ahead of time/ Also never used my card till June 12, 2008. So from where these charges have propped up?

              HSBC Credit Card — late fees and finance charges

              I was holding two HSBC credit cards, their service was excellent upto tear 2006-07, after this the service is extrememly... poor. I am charged with annual fees for a lifetime free card and then charging late fee and finance charges for not paying. Now the amount has gone up more than 10k in last years inspite of repeatedly advising them to stop the card and do the settlement. Toady I am getting threthening calls from their delhi office.

              HSBC Credit Card — Charging Late payment fees without any valid reason

              I'm using a HSBC Credit Card and the card no. is [protected]. In my Aug statement dated Aug 16, 2009, the HSBC bank has charged INR 750/- as the late payment fee. As there was a bank strike going on on Aug 6th & 7th and all their ATMs were closed, I couldn't drop the cheque on 6th. The bank people called me in the morning of 7th for the payment enquiry and I asked them to send their person to my office and on the same day I gave them two cheques of INR 2000/- & 415/-. Now their argument is that, the cheque should be dropped at least 3 days prior to the due date. But my point is that, I've always put the cheque on the due date, and no money was deducted previously due to this reason. Then what happened to this case?

              Please look into the matter.

              I have been persistently following up since last 4-5 months to speak with the manager handling my account. I have also called up the customer service department but there is no proper response. I managed to speak with Mr. Jagdish Dube who introduced himself as Floor incharge, and he promised to get me his manager to speak with me, but invain.

              I have settled all my dues, but I still receive sms for interest due on my overdue account. the amount was overdue since I did not receive the account statement which I accordingly informed the customer service department, but did not receive the account statement for 2 months, for which I paid a lump sum amount, you will notice my account statement, there is lump sum amount paid on:

              Chq 228169 Rs. 3,500 May 09
              DB Chq Rs. 4,000 Oct 09


              The entire principle amount has been settled, I request the bank to stop sending me any further overdue notice and harrasing me.

              HSBC — Late Payment Fees

              I am using HSBC Classic Credit for nearly two years and i have paid all my bills promptly before due date.

              When i checked my Net banking they have charged me a late payment fees for Rs.400/- and service tax or Rs.40/- for the same. When i called HSBC support they are giving me an explanation saying that i have not payed my last month bill on time. My billing date is on 25th of every month and for the month of January i dropped my cheque on RK Salai branch (chennai) on 22 January. They are saying if you are paying through cheque we have to ensure that it is paid before three working days !!!

              A request to all reader's please tell me how we can fight back at these **** bankers.

              HSBC Credit Cards — Late Payment Charge

              My name is Robbins Kuriakose.I'm holding an HSBC credit card.I had made a late payment for the last month credit statement and the delay was only for 2-3 days.
              The payment has been done fully and the payment was for Rs.1058.Now the bank is charging me RS.614 as late payment and I have not used the card anymore from last month's billing period to this months bill period.So it means the Bank is charging me more than 60% as my late payment charge.

              I would like to register a complaint against the bank on this regards.I would like to take up your advice on to whom I should register the complaint and how feasible would be this.

                Hi to all of respected Dignities.
                My problem is like this I am a credit card holder of HSBC from last approx 6 years & till date my no payment was due or not a defaulter or not a late payment master.
                [1] As per your a/c statement of Dt. 7/June/2007 to 06/July/07 my credit balance of Rs.1354.50.
                [2] As per your a/c statement of Dt. 7/July/2007 to 06/Aug/07 my credit balance of Rs.1354.50. & you have charged a Annual Membership fees and services tax charges of Rs.2000/+1000/-+247+123.60 =total Rs.3370.60 & on net comes after deducting from Credit of Rs.1354.50 my debit balance of Rs.2016.30
                For your annual membership charges same thing was happened in last year too & I have opposed on that time too & with the result an assurance was given by your officer that in future too we will not charge you. On that condition only I have continued my card. But as a wrong practice again same thing was happened & with the result of this all this time wasted and pain full thing started.
                So same thing was happened & again I have start to call your person on phone I have opposed & denied to pay your annual membership charges or cancel my card & do oblige on me. Your officer was too good on reply and he promised that your charges will be waved and your credit balance will remain Rs.1354.50 as it is. & all this changes you will get in our next bill.
                [3] But on surprise again I got your statement of Dt. 7/Aug/2007 to 06/Sep/07 with adding charges of finance charges, late payment charges & service tax etc of Rs2477.67 as a debit balance. Which is one more wrong practice?
                [4]On phone I talk with your person Indu on date. 29/Nov/07 Thursday at 10.30 am Hrs by approx 50 minutes, same way again I got assurance from her that she will do change immediately and she gave with promise that she will inform me on my e-mail:- [protected]@gmail.com & on my mobile [protected] too which she is noted.
                [5] I got faulty statement again on 07/Oct/2007 – 06/Nov/07 in that they have shown reversal charges of Rs.2714.20 and closing balance comes as Rs.344.31CR instead of Rs.1354.50 as there was no use of my card from 7/June/2007 to till date. Hence my balance should reflect as same of statement Date:07/June/07of Rs.1354.50
                [6] Same thing once again inform to your person Mr. Rajish on phone on Dt.14/Jan/08 at 17.10hrs explained same story as no changes in statement not inform on mob or by e-mail it take about a 1full hour, then he has given to Unnati a Senior officer talked about 1.30 minutes same way assurance. Don’t worry we will do it.
                [7] Same thing once again inform to your person Mrs. Sweta Assistant Manager on phone on Dt.16/Jan/08 at 12.40hrs explained same story as no changes in statement not inform on mob or by e-mail it take about a 40 minutes. She assured that I will get changes in 4 working days.
                [8] I got your new statement of date. 07/Dec/2007-to 05/Jan/08 in that shows Rs.344.31 CR only instead of Rs.1354.50 so I talk with officer Mrs. Sweta She told me don’t worry don’t pay a your debit of Rs.1201/- of this statement as you have all ready CR of Rs.1354.50 so even of your uses of Rs.1201/- you have balance of CR Rs.153.50 So in next statement you will get with this correction.
                [9]In mean time I have made payment through your card & accordingly I have paid cheque of Rs. 4500/- as a part payment & same has been deposited in your bank.
                [10] Lastly I have received a statement of Dt. 06/Jan/08-06/Feb/08 same opening balance & on above all again charged with late payment charges Rs.400/- & ST+ CESS 49.44
                So now I am fed up with this bank & their system I have no faith in their system and their ethics. By this application I am requesting to all of your good self that I am sure that i will not get justices. Hence inform me by deducting your actual amount How much money I have to pay If so, So arrange some person who will come with your statement I will pay him your right due if any is there & importantly I will return my card.
                I can understand how much it is painful to all of you to read this latter. So think for me that how much it is painful to write & to talk hours & hours on phone by wasting time & money too from last 7 painful months.

                  I received tons of calls for someone who had my number befor me. I told them all that I had a new number and that person was not here and likely had never lived here. Each promised to take my number out of their system and none did. I finally found a different number and called them and asked to speak directly w/ a supervisor who found me their internal do-no-call list. (I'm already on the national do-not-call list, but it doesnt' cover things like collection calls.) If you call 877.394.4722 and jump through a lot of hoops, supposedly they will stop calling you. I'll wait and see if this actually works. They couldn't tell me how long it would take, but they said I would be receiving confirmation in the mail that my number had been removed.

                    I had applied for an HSBC credit card almost a year back and they tried to deliver the credit card on two occasions to my office address. But since I was not available at my office it was returned. This was informed to me by a Tele banking representative. After that they never got in touch with me and I also have forgot about the entire episode. Almost aftre some 6 to 8 months later i started getting calls from HSBC personal loan division saying that they would like to give me personal loans based on my HSBC credit card.I turned down the offer saying Iam not holding any cards from HSBC. Later i got an SMS saying its my HSBC credit card statement(luckily the it was a 0 balance statement). On getting this SMS statement I tried to contact HSBC phone banking centre, but they said they are unable to help me as i did not have a card number. I asked them to search for any information with my name, but this request was turned down. I again got another SMS last week with 0 balance. Though both times it was 0 balance, Iam not at all comfortable getting statements in my name for a nnon existent card. And if they can send statements for non existent card, i fear they might send me non zero balance statements also in future. I wanted to know why this is happening even after their representative informing me at the first place that the card is being returned to the bank.

                      I have a HSBC account in mumbai and on 14 march 2008, I have deposited a DD issued from Deutsche Bank PUne branch in my HSBC Mumbai account at Chembur Branch. I was shocked to see in my bank statement that the cheque was send to IDBI bank for clerance.
                      I dont understand how this mistake has happen. and when I tried to contact customer support they gave me information that as it was outstation DD it was send to IDBI. Till now I have not got any payment.
                      Support told me that my DD will be cleared by 26.
                      who is responsible for delay.
                      If we have any payment delay Bank charges for that.

                      Dish TV India — TOTAL BLACKOUT SINCE 5th OCT 2007

                      have given my STB for repairs to my dealer on 5th Oct 2007 and i have still not recieved it. Everytime i call up in delhi call center they say " SIR UR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 24 Hours". AFter every 24 hrs i call up and they tell me the same thing. Once their Customer care guy told me to tell my dealer to give me another STB, when i told this to my dealer they said they dont have any such information.When i asked my dealer when will i get my STB he said he does not have any idea the STB has been sent to Chennai. Its been 2 months now i am not able to watch TV and till date not a single person from DISH TV INDIA has contacted me regarding my case. I WOULD TELL THE CONSUMER NO TO GO FOR DISH TV ITS PATHETIC!!!!!

                        Sir/ Madam,

                        HSBC had no habit of respondn to the complaints. I had pesonaly handed over a cmplaint t o the Executive of HSBC bank of Greater Kailsh I, New Delhi. Regardin my payment of Rs. 66900-00 + Rs. 3500-00 = Rs. 70, 400-00 prior to dead line adspoke to the help line executives. Thehelp lineexeutives after veryfing hadareed rect and issue me a fresh payment coupon buteyhdfailed to do so. After giving sufficent time I had been to the HSBC bank pesonaly a surendered my credit card executive of the bank executive was apoligitic as she very wel understood the confusion HSBC credit card executives had created.

                        I had demaded the excesive ammount which I had paid ie. Rs.75-82 and a penality of Rs 3500-00 and sent my cmplaint t Nodal officer, PO Box: 5080 of HSBC, Chennai -600028, Diect Response cell, HSBC, Mumbai, Country Director, HSBC, Umang Tower, 2nd floor, Sector A-22, Mind Space, Goregaon West, Mumbai 400062 and acopy pesonally handed ove to HSBC Bank Executive, Grater Kailash I, New Delhi. The first complaint was on 10.09.2007 and last complaint was on 27.11.2007.

                        Instead of HSBC pay back my mone plus penality which I had impose butsending faulty credit card statements. HSBC deserve to be penalised for their careless atitude towards their customers. TG Vijayaraj

                        HSBC credit card is a rel head ache.
                        My father expired recently and He had some credit card dues which we were not able to pay coz of sudden death of father. as I am student I am not able to pay either. Collection Agency from HDFC are calling multiple times at home and calling my father a thief and my family a thief and more abusive languages. Is there some way to stop them and ask them to do legal procedings rather.
                        This is ridiculous to hear all this about your dead father.

And again after one month i am receiving the statement again with the extra charge of adone card which i don’t have and the annual fee of my Gold Card, but when i had applied for this card the executive told me that this is life time free i don’t need to pay any fee for this card.

                        If would happen again so i request you to cancel my Gold Credit Card and i think it was a very worst experience with HSBC.

                        I don't know what they are charging as i have never received a statement.
                        I totally agree. HSBC collections has no business ethics at all. To hide there mistakes, they make the customer suffer. Not sending statements, closing accounts and their home collection agents not putting the money in the account is very normal. I really wish this company shuts soon or they'll keep harassing so many customers. I have 4 other bank credit cards and I have no problem with any one of them except for this. After 3 years they are coming and telling me that my outstanding on my closed account is for more than a lakh... they have no business ethics at all. I wonder what their company values are. I'm sure they don't have a random complaints checking system which major good companies have. I myself work with American Express and know how the customer service works. Its high time for HSBC's chairman to wake up and see to the problems faced by their customers. They treat us as if we are their prisoners and not customer.

                        HSBC had no habit of respond to the complaints. I had personally handed over a complaint t o the Executive of HSBC bank of Greater Kailsh I, New Delhi. Regarding my payment of Rs. 66900-00 + Rs. 3500-00 = Rs. 70, 400-00 prior to dead line and spoke to the help line executives. The help line executives after verifying had agreed react and issue me a fresh payment coupon but they had failed to do so. After giving sufficient time I had been to the HSBC bank personally surrendered my credit card executive of the bank executive was apologetic as she very well understood the confusion HSBC credit card executives had created.

                        I had demanded the excessive amount which I had paid ie. Rs.75-82 and a penalty of Rs 3500-00 and sent my complaint t Nodal officer, PO Box: 5080 of HSBC, Chennai -600028, Direct Response cell, HSBC, Mumbai, Country Director, HSBC, Umang Tower, 2nd floor, Sector A-22, Mind Space, Goregaon West, Mumbai 400062 and a copy personally handed over to HSBC Bank Executive, Grater Kailash I, New Delhi. The first complaint was on 10.09.2007 and last complaint was on 27.11.2007.

                        Instead of HSBC pay back my money plus penalty which I had impose but sending faulty credit card statements. HSBC deserve to be penalized for their careless attitude towards their customers.

                        HSBC Credit Card — Penalising us necessarily

                        Dear sirs,

                        This has with reference to your credit card statement dated 24th Dec. 2010.
                        In our credit card statement our outstanding balance is shown as Rs.34,746.50/-. We have not used your credit card for any purchase for the past three months.

                        We received a cheque of Rs.30,000/- on 3rd Nov. 2010 in my wife’s name ( Cheque no. – 947503). Since my wife is not a account holder in any of the banks I have cancelled and returned to your office on 6th Dec. 2010 at Coimbatore branch. For the cancelled amount you are charging a late payment fees and other fees of Rs.4746.50/- which is not a fair deal.

                        We have explained the scenario to customer care and also went to coimbatore office and all our efforts go vain.
                        They are penalizing us for the amount which we have not taken from HSBC.

                          HI,

                          I want to make a serious complaint against HSBC. I own
                          a HSBC Visa Credit Card. I made the payment on this
                          card on March 1st, 2008. I made the payment in cash in
                          a HSBC ATM. After that I received calls that I didnot
                          make the payment. I faxed the copy of the ATM deposit
                          slip to HSBC chennai office as proof of payment. Till
                          date I have been receiving harassing calls from HSBC
                          regarding the payment. I have the payment proof as the
                          ATM Deposit slip. From HSBCs side, I dont have anything
                          written, it is the call records that will proof this.
                          I want to sue them for a hefty amount for all the
                          harassments.Please advise.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I had lost my credit card on 16th DEC'07. After getting it noticed, I got the card blocked but before that, around 16,000 rs shopping had been done. The things happened after that are here in brief:
                            1). I had submitted, with HSBC, a copy of FIR,application form (for doing the needful) & dispute letter,indicating all the transations with amount & exact time, as instructed by HSBC CC.
                            2). CC that ime said that investigation will be carried out with the respective merchants & it would take around 45 days.
                            3). I did wait for sometime , then i contacted the officer of fraud deptt in HSBC, sec-18, Noida. The exact words, he said that time, were" I am the investigation officer & no investigation is carried out in such cases, I can only provide you with all the details regarding the dispute transaction"(**Contadiction 1). He also said "Sir, individualy these are not that much big amounts for merchant will match the signatures on credit cards"(irresponsible statement)
                            4) Then, I finally log an application with HSBC CC on 16th JAN'07 for providing me with the charge slip of one of the dispute transactions, it was promised that the same would be reaching to me within next 10 working days.
                            5)this is for your info that till date i haven't received tha charge slip & i have called many times after 16th JAN, but HSBC has been making false excuses for the same.
                            6)one more thing to be noted is that, in fact, once when i called HSBC CC, one of the CC executive even said "Sir, through calling customer care, you can't apply for the charge slip"(**contradiction2). This contradictory statement,i have heard two times.

                            So from the above given details it is clear that i am being tortured by HSBC, they are just making interest by delaying the processing.

                              i took personel loan from hsbc bank in april 2005.i received due date statement from bank in 18th nov.2005.your due date on 5th of every month.they present ECS on 5th of month few months.Later on bank started present on ECS on 1st .i talk 2 customer care &submit written complainton 5th feb2008 but no reply from bank.It is difficult 2 me clear ECS on 1st because i am getting payment 3rd or 4th.This matter i already discuss with bank person before i took loan.

                                I have used my HSBC ATM card at Indian Overseas bank ATM at HRBR layout, banaswadi main road, Bangalore.

                                I initially give amount as 18000Rs for which I got slip saying temporarily unable to process. Then i did transaction for 15000Rs and I got money.

                                I was surprised to get SMS from HSBC bank saying 18000 and 15000 debited from my account. I checked with overseas bank and shown them slip, they said the slip is very well explanatory that no money was dispensed. I checked on internet banking and found money debited by HSBC from my account.
                                I raised a complaint and these guys were not supportive, talking like 45 days , we will verify, investigation will happen blah blah.

                                Now today i got letter from Indian Overseas bank saying no money was dispensed and other thing is that the same ATM as per overseas bank peoples does not allow more than 15000 at one go, that is the reason why my first transaction was not processed.

                                Now biggest question is that when source bank have not processed the request and i have a valid slip and letter from them, how come the HSBS bank systems are updating false data in to their records. I got SMS so i checked, other wise i would never checked. and if some one does not keep of track of money he may loose that much money because of HSBC bank fault.

                                This is very serious lapse from HSBS bank perspective, and please let me know how I can take it to consumer court and see these guys won't go unpunished. As their behavior is very bad, in fact our local desi bank helped me lot compared to this HSBC where I keep my total salary.

                                sir, ihad gone to one of your atm installed at igl cng pump moti bagh-I, new delhi, and wanted to withdraw Rs.25000/- but the machine did not allowed me to do and showed on screen that choose any of shown amount so i decided to draw Rs.20, 000/- but the same problem came in front screen stating draw any amount shown so this i opted for Rs.10, 000/- yes at this time machine got started working it gave a slip stating please cantact the bank remarks shanti path, status cancelled, the reference no. is A788-3018 dated 25.07.2010 at time 06:44 am, therefore kindly see my quoted problem and the said amount Rs.10, 000/- may be creadited to my state bank of india account bearing saving a/c no.[protected].

                                  This is to inform you that I Ashish Aggarwal is holding a credit card with account Number [protected] in my name of your bank with this I have been also issued a add on card in the name of Smt Pushpa Johri. Both the cards are now blocked from 10th December, 2007.

                                  In the January, 2008’s monthly statement which I had received after repetitive request to your customer care officers, I saw that 4 transactions shown in the statement have not been done by me or the add on card holder. These 4 transactions have wrongly been credited to my account . The transactions I am talking about are as follows:

                                  Please note I have already made complete payments for all the valid transactions done by me as guided by your customer care Officer. Amount of Rs 800 was paid on 1st January, 2008 which is being reflecting in my account .

                                  All the Balance amount left to paid according to you is under dispute. I am not going to make any further payments for the balance amount which is Rs. 28001.25 which is under dispute and which is for the transactions which I have never done. This has been confirmed from the merchant who has billed the amount.

                                  Please note these transactions were for some air tickets booked via the mentioned travel portals. You can also confirm that there air travel were not done by me, any of my known persons. I had even requested the travel portals to cancel those tickets, but they said that this payment has already been cleared may be by mistake by your Banker which is HSBC in my case.

                                  If these transactions are result of some cyber crime or fraudulent mal practice, then this could have been stopped very easily if you people had taken some action like investigating the issue a bit early or at least after I had informed the bank about this on 9th December, 2007 vis phone to your customer care officer.

                                  2. Since almost five months I have been receiving calls on my residence phone no enquiring about Mr Ashok Gupta. When counter enquired- reply comes this is HSBC Bank, Mumbai.
                                  3. I and my family members are tired of these calls by explaining every time that it is not Mr Gupta’s phone no.
                                  4. After explaining for such a long time to so many people that this is neither Mr Gupta’s residence nor office no., still phone calls enquiring Mr. Gupta is not stopped .We are sick of these phone calls & felt harassed like any thing.
                                  5. I don’t understand why such a big and famous bank like HSBC is unable to trace a simple telephone no. Identifying a caller or phone holder is only five minutes job, still HSBC is adopting such an age old technique to find-out the cheater which is resulting in unusual harassment to an innocent citizen of the country.
                                  6. Today (on 16 Jun 08)again at about 0845 hrs I received a call-enquiring Mr. Ashok Gupta.When I enquired –May I know who is calling – This is HSBC Bank, Mumbai. I lost my patience & enquired the caller to provide phone no from which he was calling so that a complaint can be lodged. Phone was dropped.

                                  No. May I know who is calling?

                                  8. Two-thee day back Mr Shiraz from HSBC Bank, Mumbai enquired about Mr Ashok Gupta. I explained him also everything but nothing could improve.
                                  9. Now time has come to act. This is a clear cut case of harassment to an innocent citizen against HSBC Bank which is still continued in spite of reminding the facts.
                                  10. May I ask HSBC Bank- (i) that why I should not lodge a FIR against HSBC for harassment.(ii)that why I should not move to court for redressal.
                                  11. Nothing less than an apology from HSBC can stop me doing this.

                                  I, Sumit Gupta, having credit card(No.: [protected]) of HSBC bank. I got the statement in which there is a transaction of Rs.18,215 from RPG CELLUCOM I. PVT. LTD. on 22nd June,07 from my add-on card, which i never applied. At the time of filling application form i crossed the column of add-on card and in tele verification i told customer care executive that i do not want add-on card. I have not done this transaction, this totally a fraud transaction, for which I will not paid this amount. If this this transaction done by me i was allready paid the amount but i have not done this trasaction, so i`ll not pay a single penny for this.

                                  I think this fraud is done by HSBC employees because when i crossed the application form and told customer care executive then why they send mr card how is it used???

                                  I am holding an HSBC Credit card since last one year. On friday 11th of December 2009 I received a message on my mobile registered by HSBC saying that "thankyou for using your card for making a travel booking on the 11/12/2009". It was a shocking message for me as I have never ever used my HSBC Card online for any shopping. I contacted the HSBC Customer Care only to know that a transaction amounting Rs.3189.41 is done through my card online with yatraonlineserviceltd. When I convinced them for the transaction not done by me they asked me to contact Yatra.com.
                                  I contacted them only to find that they could not find any booking searching through my Credit Card no., and asked me to wait till the estatement is generated and to send the copy of the same to them for any further action to be taken by them.
                                  Sir, I have never ever faced such situation in my life. I am getting so confused what to do? Kindly help me to find a way.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    This is with regards fraud committment from HSBC DSA, I received a call from Ms Shreya for personal loan at competative rate. I told her that I already received offer letter from HSBC for 15.5%. But I am not satisfied with the rate of interest. Hence I am not interested in such offer. Then she offered me for 14%. Therefore I submitted my all document to her on 19th Jan,2008. But till date I never receive verification call from HSBC side.

                                    Now I came to know that they had put my file on hold for login. I had already requested Ms. Shreya to return my all document, if you dont want to proceed with further. But she is not willing to provide the same which is certainly raising unnecessary doubts on HSBC's response.

I already lodge the complaint with HSBC on 06.02.08 Case 4812931 with reference number [protected]. But even after 9 day I have not received single call from HSBC.

                                    Please do the needful.

                                      Hi, I am using HSBC Credit card more than a year, my transaction history is very good recently 3-4 months back somebody purchased air tickets i got a incomplete sms to my mobile (air) immediately i called to hsbc call centre asked about this they told that nothing is purchased air tickets and they told last transaction details i told thats ok after 3 days i got 1 more message air deccan ticketes purchased in your card again i called to hsbc call center and i told that i have not purchased this please block my card, they blocked my card and issued new card and they said our verification department will take care and give the report within 45 days. but they have not called me but monthly statements are coming i called them after 2 months they said the verification is not yet done please call me next month 1st week. NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO

                                      You are not just one, it happened with my father who is a HSBC card holder, there were some 5 tickets were purchased, shocking thing was that bank did not do anything, even after I traced the passanger at arir deccan with the help of a staff member (friend).

                                      BUT after few weeks bank was asking my father to surrender the ard and to finish the relationship
