[Resolved] ICFAI National College — Fraud in every field | |
First of all during admission councelling, 1) They gave me all false information that they had tie up with many nationalised banks which provide study loan to all inc students but no banks are interested to pay study loan to INC and there is no tie up with any banks. 2) They had experienced facaultys as well as better visiting faculties for all subjects to be taught in 2 years but no experience facaulty are available for any subject rather there is no one to teach 7 subjects. 3) If student pay fees on self payment basis they can pay the fees in part payment basis as informed during admission . As I could not have study loan i paid the fees on my self and cleared the fees of Rs. 70000 in two part payments, for which i also had to suffer as i could not appear 2nd semester regular exam for non clearance of dues and i appeared the makeup examination after clearing the dues and giving a fine of Rs. 3500 for makeup examination. Again in 2nd year i made a part payment of Rs. 30000 in December and informed our college principal that i will clear the remaining dues in last week of January, also our college principal assured me there will be no problem for appearing 4th mid-semester examination. As the mid semester exams were starting from 27th of December, just before one day i.e on 26th of december i was asked by the principal to clear the dues to appear the exam. Thus i could not pay and i could not appear. Again to appear the make up exams i was asked to clear all the dues along with Rs. 10000 fine for late payment + Rs. 3500 as makeup exam fees. Thus , by any means i arranged all the money and i did the form fillup to appear the makeup exam. This was not sufficent as i again had to suffer as my question papers for the makeup exam were not made available for three papers out of seven. At last when i requested to refund the form fillup amout for three papers i.e of Rs. 1500, " that is not possible to refund the money" is replied by the principal. I m also agree of all the complaints above. I was a student of ICFAI Dehradun. They promised tooo much but forget their promises after admission. as Dehradun INC is running summer internship program that is all fraud. whether the student is from Finance major or Marketing or any other, it dosnt matter they send them all to sales. 4 months training as a management trainee but they gave us complsory targets in hard core sales. They send students to sales compnies like insurance companies and give them weekly targets and they evaluate marks over it, companies give nothing in return to students but give to faculty members and college, and whar left in the end only future in sales for all students in any stream. Is MBA is only for doing sales? Then what is meant to take subjects of Finance, HR...etc
I feel no additional Qualification after doing MBA from INC Dehradun.U can do sales without an MBA degree with the same pakage.

i m very much agree with fraud which was done by ICFAI on the name of INC college when i joined it they promise us to give a regular PGDBA from ICFAI but now then send us a MBA degree from dehradun.now what can i do? i just waste my two years to get a distance degree.if anyone know the solution of this plz reply me on [protected]@gmail.com

Hi I am Thomas .. i passed out of icfai college Kottayam, Kerala, a couple of years ago.. and now i am working in a reputed real estate company and earning a very handsome salary with huge incentives.I am proud on icfai..Icfai changed my life.. the teachers were awesome and well experienced.. they helped us a lot.. i still remember the first time in my life when a teacher( elizabeth madam) of icfai forced me to take part in a competition.. in that competition i turned out to be a complete looser.. but since then i started taking part in every competitions and have won numerous prizes including the best marketing managers award in a national meet... its not just me but each and every student in icfai kottayam have felt similar changes.. the its credit goes to our great teachers..

icfai national college (INC) is among the most fraudulent management colleges of India. I am also a victim. In our INC the placement program is also not successful, only few interviews were conducted and we are forced by our Center Head and Placement co-ordinator to join within Rs.3000/- to Rs.5000/- there are very few students who are placed and that is not countable and the students joined are not getting pay matched to their qualities. We want that the placement program should be interfered by Regional office and Head Office, and now the market opportunities are re-opening so the student wants that college will provide opportunity right now.
The classes are not conducted properly and the appointment of the faculties have done very late, so the Finance and Banking student suffered to complete the syllabus. There is no cooperation from faculty side. Faculties not take classes according to schedule they take classes according to their convenience.

I am happy that a parent cared about writing the experience of his daughter in a SIP company.
In INC, the internship experience is unique and rightly different from that of other colleges. 6100 students have done internship in 663 companies. From the institution side 385 stake holders are engaged in the form of Internship coordinators and Faculty Guides in addition to 1200 corporate guides.
INC Internship is a great opportunity to develop transferrable skills. The practical skill sets developed and acquired are useful to the student throughout ones life. These are important in any other employment and any other industry. In general, it is found that good IP experience is leveraged for good placement at a higher salary level.
Coming to the subject matter of insurance internship, over a period, we have restricted the coverage to about 26%. The targets are generally fixed in consultation with corporate guides. They are meant to be challenging and not easily achievable.
While I sampled one student, I find that the student is in Future General Life Insurance and her target is Rs. 1.0 lakh premium collection per month. In the 1st 4 weeks, she achieved Rs. 55000, by no means a mean achievement when she is warming up for 14 weeks. She has 6 policies behind her, all in non family setting. There are 14 students in the company and in terms of performance; most other academically better placed colleagues are, in fact, lagging behind this student.
In any case, faced with any specific issues, the student is free to discuss with a host of INC stake holders and corporate guides who are very well equipped to provide guidance to the interns.

Yeah, sure, INC got the best study material, experienced faculty, infrastructure and placements and oh, all the students of INC are .Oops calling myself here! Have a laugh!Lemme see ...in one year how many permanent faculty did i see?four, all others are visiting faculties.Placement...what is that?you eat it or sleep on it?!!!????No good placement coordinator-well, now that is nice, isn't it?SIP-all INC students should know what is that, right?and you were placed via your college, right?Motto of INC -we encourage our students to gather placements for themselves-guess it helps strengthen our character ;or we will place you in some insurance company-so nice of them!Oops its not a college, it's a study center written clearly on the handbook they provided when we took admission and when I wanted to take the students loan from SBI, the branch manager told me that they don't give loans to study center students, but branch managers of SBI are also , right?From what I have seen in one year when our seniors were placed in reputed companies-well they were having a CGPA of 7-8 and none were selected in any good company, ahh before I forget no good company ever came, bunch of insurance companies where you have to recruit agents, well nobody liked those jobs;good for them too-because out of 63 students only three, (according to my knowledge )are still employed all others were thrown out within a month-clearly not fault of INC, surely fault of students because they knew nothing about anything;but I thought it is the responsibility of the college/study center to teach, well an is mostly wrong.
Now the degree certificate, well i saw one belonging to one senior, it's 2 years degree certificate full time, no distance learning mode(atleast i couldn't see it is written) from ICFAI university, Deheradun.I don't know what importance that certificate used to have, now what I know and to what our administration and faculty are not giving clear answer is the off campus activities of ICFAI University Deheradun been declared illegal by UGC on last June making the certificates and therefore the course not recognized, permitted by UGC anymore.Check the bulletin board o[censored]GC, so we are not UGC recognized students anymore-:D.Most of you have paid the 2nd installment of payment by now but I am not sure what to do.Well, I could go on and on but I am tired now.ANY ICFAI DALAL/AGENTS ARE FREE TO FLAME ME, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF CHEATERS OF YOUR KIND FOR TODAY.

Hello I am Mohd. Imran, pass out from INC BIDAR(KARNATAKA[protected] BATCH. Well I do agree with you. INCs are fake. They not only cheat students but also their parents. From our center there is no placement this year but then also for the sake of advertisement & to get some more fools for their next batch in their college they advertised in the THE HINDU newspaper that they this time got 100% Placement which is a big lie to all the citizens. Also they use the names of the brilliant students to get more admissions for their college though nobody got placed anywhere in any company. Also this false college plays with the sentiments of the students & their family members. They take so much money in terms of fees but there are no proper standards of eduction provided at the college. How can they provide education - to do so they must have faculties but they dont have any qualified faculty for the college. Those who are qualified to be the clerks in local companies are professors here then how can they teach us. Also one teacher is handling 3-4 subjects & is never able to finish the portion on time . students suffer in exams & so they cheat & these teachers allow them to cheat openly. I would like to name the biggest fraud in INC BIDAR - that is its present head- DONALD JOHNSON. This person is just sucking money from the students funds & never comes in class though he is the faculty for SOFTSKILLS. This person is doing big frauds in the college. He is not concerned with the students placemnts. Also he does not have an MBA Degree. To be the head of INC Center one must have MBA Degree but without any degree he is our present head of the center. If any complaints are done he always comes to know all those because of SURYA NARAYAN - Regional head Bangalore who is also indulged in this big crime of cheating students(customers). These people themselves do not know how to manage the collge but are appointed as professors here though they dont have any qualifications. So, I request all the Graduates not to join these fake colleges. BE AWARE OF THE REAL FRAUDS OF INCs of ICFAI.

I am a student of ICFAI National College, studying in final year.Many students have availed loan from various public sector banks such as SBM, SBI, and Vijaya Bank, to name a few. And this 'Many' includes myself, too. A candidate not being able to avail a loan from a bank can not be and should not be construed as a blemish against ICFAI. ICFAI is very much recognised as an educational institution of repute, for, otherwise I and many others like me would not have been able to avail of the facility of educational loan. A candidate not getting a loan will have to be examined in detail by himself in consultation with the bank which refused the loan. He/ She should not go about blaming ICFAI, without any reason whatever.
Further, I am proud to state that I am in receipt of the Scholarship from ICFAI National College, twice.And there are many others like me. THIS clearly brings out the fact that ICFAI National College encourages financially and otherwise efforts to study and do well.
There are many, many seniors of our INC, who have been placed and are doing well in various fields of our Indian Economy. During the interaction with some of these seniors clearly brings out the need for self-development in various spheres which is what all the faculty at INC has been emphasisng on.
Instead of concentrating on these and many other aspects being taught at INC blaming INC for one's own shorcomings would not be right.
Pls do not give negative comments about an education institution like ICFAI National College which is providing education to middle class people who do not have a capacity to get education from IIMs or any other private universities which charge enormous fee.

I am a student of Icfai National College Delhi. whose name has now been changed to ASIM. i am in III semester of MBA programme. I have availed the loan from PNB. but now bank is stopping my II draft for the payment of next 2 semesters. bcoz they are asking me that they have recieved a letter from UGC that these INC's or Adamsmith colleges are not registered with ICfai university dehradun. So plz let me know what i will do. i ahve gone frustrared

infinitus buisness management school — Not refunding admission fee affiliate fraud
I, manish grover son of mahabir grover residence at house no.42 sec 20-a chd. had deposited a sum of rs. 7, 500 on account of infinitus buisness mangement school situated at mohali phase eltop building pahse 8 for doing mba but now i want to refund my money back because they had cheated me by saying they r affliated from icfai university tripura but now they are saying that their affliation is changed. or be in process to changed from icfai to ptu.. which i don't want to do .. moreover classes havn't started yet.. This college is a complete FAKE... I can understand every college today is in the verge of making money... but this college not only makes money but cheat students to great heights... its not just one or 2 such cases, there are many all over INDIA. I myself was in a verge of getting cheated by these ! I am very thankful to god that i came to know the truth before i could pay the money. this is not at all a UGC approved MBA certificate. Its totally fake & that is why the college is being pulled upto supreme court. Guys if you thinking of INC please change your plans, Don't spoil your future...

I was shocked to read the post written by X person on my name Let me share my views at this point of time I Completed my MBA with a CGPA of 7.05 i got placed by Mr. Donald Johnson Campus head INC BIDAR as an Assistant Branch Manager at Aditya Birla Retail Limited Hyderabad totally 6 candidates got selected including me in the same company and are working happily with the company and feel the luckiest and happy persons and our family members are also happy about us it’s because of Mr. Donald Johnson who talked personally with the HR Manger and conducted Interviews for us and some are place in India info line, HDFC Bank and other companies, regarding the comment given about his qualification let me tell u one thing INC is operating with more than 150 centre’s in India how come they select an unfit or unqualified person for the post of Campus head according to me i never seen any Soft skills faculty like him his teaching is excellent and no one in our class or my juniors or seniors can put any bad remark on his teaching and behavior, I was the Class representative of the College for 2 years and in the SPC Team for 1st year I have complete knowledge of all the students activities at college and no cheating or fraud has been done by anybody at college it’s a completely false comment posted on this site regarding my college and campus head Mr. Donald Johnson. may be its because INC Bidar stands the top most college in Bidar District and the quality of education we get here is excellent and outstanding with the experience faculties and it is the only college which gives placement to his students and is well disciplined in every aspect. My message to my lovely and talented juniors and those who like to take admission is at INC Bidar is that, please do not get carried away by what people talk about the certification. It’s only your skills, abilities and qualities which you develop matters which you will learn from this Institute be cool and concentrate on your studies because the certification which you get is recognized as we and our seniors never faced any problem with the certification and this institution has changed my life and others lives too. try to call once to ICFAI University, Dehradun and ask them weather they have any colleges out side Dehradun. they will simply say no.
UGC has clearly said that private universities which are formed under UGC Act 2(f) can not open their study centre out side the University campus and they can not give even affilation to Colleges .
ICFAI is running center all over india by Saying that they provide acedmic support and placement assistance to students who wants to pursue MBA from ICFAI University Dehradun. means they are not affiliated they just help you to study.
Let me make it clear MBA Degree of ICFAI is awared thru Distance mode only so there is not profit in giving 3.5 Lakh to get a distance learning degree. they are fraud people simply. my good advice just do not join such institute.
