Theoretical knowledge is given by every institute but this is the area where INC is quite different from other B-Schools. It creates practical situations which we have to face in the corporate world. Well, I am proud to share my feelings about INC with you.

Learning at INC:-
Studying at INC was a good turning point in my life. I am from an upper middle class family and until my graduation I did not have any exposure to English language. The medium of instruction till there was my mother tongue, Telugu. But after joining INC for my post graduation, I got a good exposure to the English language. Apart from that, INC taught me the way to behave with the corporate officials.

Academics:-
Coming to Academics, I would say we got Upgraded Curriculum compare with any Equal MBA Program at out side. What all academically I learnt at INC is of immense help to me in my professional career. I am able to present and project myself in a better way. All for this credit goes to INC and my faculty members. The potential abilities of our faculty members are high. Along with our curriculum they facilitated us to get wide exposure into the corporate field, instilled confidence in us to face interviews and taught us to be positive in every walk of life. Especially, the active role which our faculty members played during our SIP cannot described in words. On my personal front, the inputs given by our faculty during SIP had really set up my success in the corporate field.

Placements:-
I got an Opportunity to attend 24 interviews when I was a student through INC Placement Cell in our First Year of INC Operations. I started my career with Metlife India Insurance co Ltd as a Metlife Executive Trainee in 2005, was promoted as Sales Manager in 2006 and again within a short period, got promotion as Sr. Sales Manager in 2007. In the same year I left that company and joined HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co Ltd as a Branch Manager and worked there till September 2008. Presently, I am with Future General India Life Insurance Co Ltd, Vijayawada, as an Agency Development Manager. INC must have gone up in providing Better Placements by more than 100% after having 4 Years of Exposure in market.

Value of MBA Certificate:-
I have not faced any problem till now since completion of my MBA @ 2005. It’s my 3rd Company in my Career; I never face any problem because I was done my MBA with ICFAI. I had taken nearly 200 Interviews in last 2 years of time with different companies. My HR never gave negative remarks about ICFAI. I am sure that, No Corporate HR has raise problem to accept joining of ICFAI Student.

INCAS:-
It’s a best practice to keep all Old Students on Same Track. It helps every Alumni of INC to grow in their careers because of INCAS.I am very happy to be selected as one among the five student board members of INCAS. This role has been another stepping stone in my career and I should be careful to carry the same reputation which I had in my college (INC) and maintain the standard which I have achieved in the corporate life.

Overall Opinion:-
The most memorable happenings of my student days are the cultural activities and the industrial tours in which I participated enthusiastically. Of course, the projects and the Summer Internship Program are also worth remembering. INC is a Place to Learn & Lead Corporate Life.

Message to juniors:-

Believe in your hard work, Developing Skill & Talent what had got. Remember your basics and Fly Up to the level keeping SKY as Limit.

I have no words to express my gratitude to INC which molded me into a full-fledged manager and a well-rounded human being. INC has refined my personality which in turn helped me immensely in my professional life.

ICFAI — Not refund the amount

I am Mahadeo Pawar I was Join MBA programme distance learning In Oct.2007 i was appierd three times of Exams but all times sam numbers alloting from Icfai . i was complete fees submeet Amount Of Sum Rs.90,000/-(Rs.Ninty thousand ) exam fees are extra . i was also paid the tution fees but the are not teach the proper time they are set the theire times but i was not attend the class because timing is not match with my job so i was request to him . pls. (change the class time or my fees has been return but the are not agree) than i was meet there office and discuss about the programme discontinew but the are saying we are not able to fees refund . So pls. i would request to you sir/ Mam I wpuld request to you pls. help me

MATRIX INFOSYS (PTU, Kolkata) - A Big FRAUD

Students’ community of West Bengal must be careful of the fraudulent company Matrix Infosys, offering various academic courses under the banner of Punjab Technical University (PTU).
This company publishes advertisements in various newspapers asking academic institutions to affiliate with them. Most of the academic institutions affiliated to MATRIX INFOSYS (PTU, Kolkata) have very poor infrastructure. This company is only here to make some quick bucks exploiting innocent students of West Bengal.
Answer scripts are not checked properly. For eg in the March 2009 MBA semester 1 exam, 80% of the students failed in the Quantitative Methods paper. Now, how 80% of the students can fail in a single paper.
Actually Answer scripts are not evaluated properly by this Matrix Infosys. It may also happen that this Matrix Infosys wants to earn some extra money out of the students, by compelling them to review their answer scripts after payment of Rs 1000/- per paper. But unfortunately for students result of the review is not declared even after waiting for over one year.
Very often it happens that in spite of appearing in an exam and signing in the attendance sheet, students find that they have been marked absent in one or more paper in their Marksheet! This must be a ploy to this cheat company MATRIX INFOSYS (PTU, Kolkata) to earn Rs 500/- per paper & per student as Reappear charges.
Students receive their marksheet, over 1 year after appearing in their semester exams!!!
Approaching the officials of MATRIX INFOSYS (PTU, Kolkata) at Salt Lake, Kolkata are of no use. They hardly listen to the students complains, let alone addressing them. Regional Head Gautam Banerjee, even comments that PTU is only here to make business.
Students should never take admission in any academic institution affiliated to this fraudulent company Matrix Infosys conducting various academic courses under the banner of Punjab Technical University (PTU).

I had joined in ICFAI in BCA. At first they told me that they will give complete guidance to me for distance education and paying the fees, they had given me books and nothing else. They are not responding to any of my calls. They are big cheaters, , rogues. They people cheated me for 26000.00 and not at all
concerned about me. Any of students those who want to join in this dirty college please drop your idea with
immediate effect. I want to give suggession to those guys those who want about this bleady college.

Mr. Pawar, You may have joined a correspondence course for the purpose of acquiring a professional degree. Any correspondence course demands intensive self-preparation. Failures should make you determined to intensify the efforts. Being career conscious, I am sure one must make sincere attempt through rigorous study and practice. Go ahead and prepare well for ensuing exams to reap the benefits.

Mr. Shankar! Let me express dissatisfaction for use of language .For your clarity the distance learning program is self study format and material is strong on supporting self-preparation. Further, the program provides computer lab practical for subjects, which need practical orientation.

I m Hr faculty in sambalpur, ICFAI National College..Actually I was wrong..INC is really revealing its true colours now..It's a fraud organization..I had posted one comment in support of INC due to the pressure by our centre head Mr.Manas Pal..But now enough is enough..They are cheating in every step..It's a request to all "PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS ORGANIZATION"

ICFAI — Misleading and MIsleading

First of all, I want to say that if there are so many complaints against this univeristy then does somebody raise this concern futher.

About my problem, please read out and if there is a possible soln. please inform me and secondly, please treat human as a human and please ICFAI do not cheat with students.

My name is Tarun Gupta and I had enrolled for MBA+CFA dual program in April, 2009.
Enrollment for MBA:[protected]
Enrollment for CFA:[protected]

Now, the problem is, at the time of enrollment I was guided for DUAL DEGREE Program and later on, I came to know that I was enrolled in both the courses seperately.

When I contacted to the concern person, she was disappeared and I was standing in middle of the road. (Roopali, Pitampura, ICFAI - [protected])

Then one day, she called me and asked to stop making payment for the courses and close the bank account I did the same as per her guidence and decided to continue with CFA only.

Then, New character came into picture (Jagmohan, Credit Officer from Nehru Place), he told me about the payment issue and asked me to make the payment for MBA as well. I told him the whole problem then he said, that the girl (Your Representative) has misguided me about the course.

Then, I asked for the way out to come out of this problem and then he said I need to send replacement cheques. (Please note I had to close my account which was related to ten different transaction). Then, he told me to make complete payment for CFA (Lumpsum) so that he can cancel my MBA enrolment and reimburse my money i.e. Initial payment. I trust him and I made the payment for CFA.

When I reached to Bunglow Road Branch, I got some more guidence and stupid things.
#1. Simple Kapoor, told me that I would have continued with MBA & CFA, then I would have got stuck in mess ups because my exams would clashed. I told her that I am doing both the courses from ICFAI then how it is possible.
#2. At the time of enrolled, I paid fees for classes though I didn't intend to take classes because of job timings. Roopali said I can take my money back anytime if I would not take classes. On her trust, I paid for classses as well.

Now Simple replied- That Roopali (Pitampura) had enrolled me seperately for two different courses to complete her target. She took extra money as well as gave a fake promise that I would get my money back after my Stage1 before that I cant.

I asked then what can I do, she said you can take legal action as well as this is a case of misleading. Still, I ignored this, when she said that she would call me in two days for the reimbursement amount. I didn't get any call from her and now she was disappeared.

I called the Credit Officer(Nehru place), now guess what, even he(Credit officer Jagmohan) was dissappeared.

Now, I thought MBA has cancelled and I am just doing CFA and I had a hope to get reimbursement for MBA and classes.

Then, come the Fourth Character(AMIT, Rohini), as per him, My MBA has not cancelled yet and he received my dishonoured cheques. I told him the story and here comes the whole thing again.

Now, finally I contacted Roopali and she said credit officer Jagmohan (Nehru place) did all that for his credit and payment credit goes to him.

Now, tell me sir, what should I do, why do you guys making my life hell and Now I am totally fed up what should I do. I lost my money and I was misleaded and again same thing pop up. I want someone to call me up and resolve this issue for me or else I need to take some legal action. Your people are blaming each other and extracting my blood now. No, I think ICFAI is a gr88 University.

Many o[censored]s just take admission because of a hidden dream of getting the MBA degree. When we go for the admission we don’t look for our strengths and weaknesses. The first mistake many o[censored]s make is not read the prospectus which is given free of cost. Everything is stated very clearly in the prospectus. Afterwards we blame the person seating at the ICFAI counter. Before my admission I was even allowed to go through study materials of MBA course.

I have found many friends complaining that ICFAI don’t refund the money and say that ICFAI is a fraud institution. This is clearly a misconception. Every institution has to follow some rules and regulations.

If we are paying our hard earned money to any one or any institution we must look for the pros and cons. We do this even when purchasing vegetables from the market. So, we are at fault if we don’t do that, and when the amount involved is big then it is a must.

I took admission in Jun 2006. I am in the defense services, married, father of one. After I took admission I too found it really tough to carry on. But when I got the results of my group A, I got some energy. The study materials are of International standards and very very tough. The English is of very high standard. I have studied in English medium school but every now and than I had to refer to the dictionary.

One thing is very much true; it is very tough to pass out from ICFAI. But there is no foul play. Every thing is very much transparent in the branches. They have call center with toll free numbers. We can ask for help from them if required. We can mail them and get help.

For those friends those who are finding it tough to pass, I can request to give yourself a chance and work very hard. After all an ICFAI degree can’t be just purchased, you have to earn it.

I have completed MBA HR from ICFAI University after three years of struggle. But one thing I can tell you is that I never gave up. I was always able to motivate myself. I have failed twice; I could not appear once because my son was very very sick; in ICU for 12 days. But I managed to carry on with my hard work and pass all the papers.

So, if some one says that ICFAI is fraud I feel bad. I simply love ICFAI.
I lost my job few years ago as an Admin Exec. Later a friend suggested me to do CFA with them. After completing the course 2 years back, I am working with an MNC at a very good position.

Join ICFAI to make a serious career. ICFAI programs are tough and thats the reason very valuable in markets. You only need to make your payments on time.

ICFAI has helped me and my friends get a very good paying job. I think it is the best program on correspondence. The staff is very helpful and supportive.

I recommend ICFAI to all.

think u all r fool...coz ICFAI gives u a regular treated degree although u r studying in it part time...and independence to work and study too...n im doing very good with ICFAI...

inc sambalpur is the worst college that i think might exist in the system.
there is no one who would take the responsibility.
leave the placement the college cannot provide faculties who could guide the student.

You have commented on my complaint or talking about yourself.. I am bit confused. About me, I am doing CFA from ICFAI as well and have no problem at all. My concern is about my problem that I have with MBA program.

I have cleared my CFA gp1 exams in a first attempt so dont tell me how to study or about motivation. I am sure I would be youner then you but I am sure too that I have earned more than you being a NRI.
So, keep your advices and comments with you and read the complaint for better understanding.. Make sure to use dictionary if you would feel difficulty at some places...

At the time of asmission cygmax promised lot of things and as on date there is no principal and a very good principal has resigned due to the politics of the faculty members and casual attitude of hq and the wicked actions of dean. No matured principal is there. They collect fee in lakhs.
Cheating institute of management studies (Cims) vizag as on today. Unnecessarily we admitted our relatives son. No body should do such mistakes. Beware of cygmax, visakhapatnam

I m Sikata (HR Faculty, INC) and I M TH REAL ONE..Please don't believe the previous posting..After my complaint, , The Centre Head left the Organization (Mr Manas Pal)..This proves their fault very clearly..INC is really a fraud..Gradually all faculties are leaving the organization..and very soon this college will be closed (May be in 2010) everywhere in Orisaa. From this one can know the popularity of INC..Above all If Someone tries to destroy the future of India's future (Students), , it can never survve in long term..and This statement is going to be very true next year..

i completed my mba in your erode branch from[protected].i paid my fees without fine.
i paid my fees in installment through cheque by 8 times.i got my loan from indian bank on december 2008 during my 2nd year....but now bank authorities complaint against you that amount was debited from my acc by used my old cheque...so please send me my payment details as fast as possible.....

Inspite of allegations about ICFAI on all fronts, I would like to validate that I as as INC benefitted immensely from this course.since I consistently scored above a CGPA of 7, I was able to gain scholarship and thereby recover a substantial amount of fees, indeed it provides dear friends;thats not a hoax.INC Trivandrum imparted the best of study materials and case studies within the constraints of a conventional study centre.

Moreover the accusation that you dont get jobs because u hail from ICFAI does not stand ground.I landed up in a prestigious job in TCS, the premier software company with a good package soon after my education from INC.they didnt disqualify me for being an ICFAI and I am riding smooth on my job.There may be a couple of exceptions but thats not the gospel truth.Qualifications alone doesnt matter, your calibre and motivation to succeed do pay.
