[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — ICICI Bank Credit Card related unreasonable charges and penalty after paying the bills

Dear Executive

I m one of the oldest premier and preffered customer of icici bank and i tried to explain my problems to customer care officer on phone
and they committed me for reversal o[censored]nresonable charges reflected on my statments but instead of reversal i could see some more unresonable penalty and charges are
billed to me.

I hope i would be able to get solution of my problem and justice if i post my query here on consumer court.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — penalty charges

ATTENTION :- CREDIT CARD DEPT

CREDIT CARD NO. [protected]

I HAD DEPOSITED MY CHQ FOR REPAYMENT OF CREDT CARD IN YOUR CBD BELAPUR BR MUMBAI OF YOUR BANK.
CHQ WAS LOST BY THE BRANCH. I WAS TOLD THAT PAYMENT IS TO BE PAID AND THE CHARGES WHICH WAS
LEVIED WILL BE WAIVED. SO ONE PERSON WAS DEPUTED FROM YOUR ANDHERI OFFICE TO COLLECT THE AMOUNT.
I HAD ISSUED THE CHEQUES FOR THE PURCHASED MADE AND THE CHQ IS PAID TO YOUR ACCOUNT ALSO,
BUT STILL FROM THE MONTH OF AUG"08 PENALTY IS NOT WAIVED; BUT IN EVERY STATEMNT IT IS INCLUDED.


FROM THIS EVENT I HAVE STOPPED USING YOUR BIG BAZAAR CARD AND I AM NOT ENJOYING YOUR ANY
FREE GIFTS. THIS HAS BEEN INFORMED TO THE CALLS WHICH I RECEIVE FROM YOUR SIDE.


SECOND GRIEVENCE IS THAT MY EMAIL ID IS ALSO BEING SEND TO WRONG ADDRESS. PLEASE VERIFY
MY EMAIL ID IN THE APPLICATION FORM.

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN USING YOUR CARD EVEN IF THE ANNUAL FEES AND THE RENEWAL FEES ARE NOT
BEING CHARGED. THIS MAIL CAN BE TREATED AS A NOTICE OF NOT SATISFIED OF YOUR SERVICE.

I HAD ALREADY INFORMED YOUR OFFICE AT BANJARA HILLS HYDERABAD THAT I
AM NOT INTERESTED IN BEING YOUR CARD HOLDER.

AS I AM A BANKER I DON"T HAVE ANY PENDING ISSUES FOR REPAYMENT AND ON BEHALF OF MY BANK I
ALSO ISSUE CREDIT CARD. BUT I FOLLOW THE PROMISES I HAVE MADE.

I AM EAGER TO KNOW THAT I AM EXPELLED FROM YOUR CRDIT CARD MEMBERSHIP.

This is once again to inform you that inspite of my repeated reminders by letters and phonecalls everymonth, still the amount of wrong debit for Rs.1277.45 not reversed and going on debiting to my a/c and at present it is accumulated to Rs.1277.45 without any fault which can be verified by you from my a/c.I have plenty of times requested over phone and everymonth by letters also along with the payments byt all are in vain inspite of their assurance for reversal of entire wrong debit amount.Pl. look into this and reverse Rs.1277.45 to keep my a/c clean.

I really shocked to see your reply for not reversal of your wrong debit towards above charges without any proper verification of my a/c. I never delayed any payments. I never paid any short amount. I always paid in time before its due date and not paid any short amount except your wrong charges amount debited to my card a/c.Pl. check once again properly and reverse the whole wrong debit amount immediately. If still you have any doubt about late or short paymnet, pl inform me the correct date and amount to enable me to clarify the same as nothing is short or late payment made by me.
my credit card no.[protected] i have paid the amount through cheque on due date but i have received statement date july 2009 stating that ihave to pay late payment fee totally Rs.697.84 ps original amount to be paid is Rs 1824/- kindly look into the matter reverse the late payment fee in the coming month statement kindly check the record of our payment where as we have paid the amount 10 d ays earlier than the due date many times.

Credit Card — LATE FEE PAYMENT

I am having card no.[protected] and paid full within the time through IRCTC credit amount for the debit as well as cash on[protected] but you have debited late payment fee while my credit of Rs.16.18 with you. You are requested to credit the same of late payment fee and advise me.

So please note that till you clarify , I will not pay a single Amount to your Bank.

I am customer for your Bank since 4 Years onwards.

Recently I have received my statement of credit card and shocked, that you have charged late fee charges hugely.


This was communicated to your Customer care executive (credit card section) Mr. Rahul.

But the way he answered is not satisfactory.

I have requested him to give their top Officials to spoke, but he refused and answered rudely.

My card No.[protected] – Rs.1061.65 Charged Instead for Rs.580.00

Another card No.[protected] – Rs.2975.86 Charged Instead of Rs.2282.00.

Since I am paying to your bank regularly, why this was penalty has charged.

More over this problem is from your end only.

You have not mentioned any card No. in the statement to make the payment.

Every month you are mentioning the A/c. No. clearly in the statement.

In the Month of Oct’2010 why you have not mentioned the A/c. No.

So the problem is from your end only, requesting you to waive off the penalty charges Immediately to the pay the amount before the due date.

Otherwise please send the complete outstanding amount in Two Account Nos. Immediately without any further delay to close the account and demolish the card..

I am still waiting for the solution its been 4 days since i got this message from you i have also got 2-3 calls from cusotmer care executive
but i m still waiting for the solution...i hope i get the justice and you people might show interest in solving problem of
one of the oldest privileged preferred customer of icici bank ..

Please kindly provide me the waiver of all unreasonable penalty late fee and charges billed on my credit card ...

I have already paid the amount of my purchase in month of april 2012.
please look into the matter fast and solve it on high priority so that i can be able to use services of icici bank .

Friends Finally my problems are solved and all the penalty and charges are reveresed thanks to ICICI and its Staff keep it up
