[Resolved]  ICICI Demat Services — ICICI An Absolute Painful Banking Experience... They are liars and feed on the blood o[censored]s customers....

Communicating with ICICI customer care is very similar to banging our head on a wall.

I have a very simple requirement ie I want my Demat account transaction statements for a specified period. But ICICI Customer Service, MIDC bank branch personnels as well as phone banking agents have made my life a total nightmare. They do not provide correct information, make false claims of trying to get in touch with me, commit to false timelines for resolution and only add more and more excuses. I have been trying to get this issue resolved by all possible means, having used their IVR, speaking to the phone banking officers, going in person to ICICI MIDC Branch only to be misled further that I would be assisted at the ICCI Demat Branch near Shopper's Andheri West. I was provided wrong timing of operational hours inspite of repeated confirmations thereby wasting my time, effort and money.

The phone banking officers do not know how to communicate in English or any vernacular language either, they cannot escalate calls to seniors and for even giving straigtforward information they put me on hold a zillion times and then said it would take 2 days to resolve the problem. It is my acoount, I pay for holding this account and am absolutely free to decide whether I want to transact or not. I work myself for a finance company and am required to submit the transaction statements as a part of compliance requirements. I tried explaining this to the ICICI officias but my pleadings have fallen on deaf ears and I must add thick headed as well. Their email responses from the ICICI Direct Helpdesk id are drafted in terrible language and make reading difficult. Though I clearly explained that I am aware of no transactions all I am looking for is a statement reflecting nil transactions, yet they send idiotic responses like they are unable to find transactions and give me baby steps (which are obviously copy pasted) for internet banking. Hello ICICI I am not as stupid as you are, so stop this tom foolery.
Previously also, I wasted more than an hour but failed to get a simple DD made at ICICI MIDC Branch and when I tried to ask the where and how of the procedures and why coudln't they accept cash, I was given the blunt answer 'we work like this only. you give money in account then take money to make DD'...seriously these people need to learn some basic communication skill as well, not to mention getting trained on their own products and services.
Banking with ICICI has become a perpetual pain and I would advise any sane minded person to never trust in ICICI and not ever invest with them because they don't even know what they are talking about, forget being of any help to another person.

I do not expect or even hope that my complain will be of any help or an eye opener for ICICI, in fact I doubt they would be able to comprehend my simple requirement even if they ever read this complaint, but I thought a word of caution may only help another fellow being from falling prey to ICICI and its false committments.
