[Resolved]  ICICI Lombard General Insurance — I didn't get my general insurance agent IRDA certificate

I appeared the IRDA general insurance agent online test in the Month May 2008 in NewDelhi( LIC Jeevan Prakash Building, Cannaught Place) for ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE and after test I was informed that I got success with 78%. After some days I received a mail from the ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE to create Online Manager account and I successfully created the account but due to some personal reason I couldn't do the any business.

I several time contacted to the cencern person to get my IRDA certificate, earlier they told that it will take time to reach so you should wait for some months. After some months again I contacted then he told will check and tell you. Next I contacted then got information he left the company and I got another concern person contact phone who was taking care the liscence. I requested to him he tried to check the IRDA certificate in his database but he couldn't found.

Therefore I request to provide me the certificate for which I have paid Rs. 2000 around and also studied too much to pass the test. Some releted information are as follows:-

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Repay the amount for ICICI Lombard Insurance

Dear Team,

This is Narashimhan. I am staying in Bangalore. I have been using credit card no. [protected] since July'07 to till date. I am not getting credit card bill from the beginning. I had already informed inspite of time to your customer care for send the bills. Meanwhile, i have got credit card statement for January'08 month on February'08. In that bill you have put the sum of Rs. 337.37 for ICICI Lombard General Insurance on date 11/01/2008. I am not yet applied for the same Please understand without acknowledge of my permission, how the concern person produce this statement. I have also paid the amount. Because I don't want to pay the extra interest for forthcoming month. Please cancel that particular insurance and repay the amount of Rs. 337.37. Whenever I need I will be apply for the same. Please do the needful to continue my Credit card a/c to do normal use of transaction.

I am also an account holder for saving a/c since 2003. I am very happy for the all the service giving from ICICI Bank to the customer-end.

I hopeful this obligation to be consider and also I ensure to continue my transaction for this reputated bank for the both Savings A/c and also Credit card A/c.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Not yet received the policy documents

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have not yet received the original renewed policy documents for my Cover note no. e[protected]. I have renewed the policy on 9th march 2008 through my HDFC account (Net banking) and the amount is duly credited with the value dated 9th March 2008. Despite repeted follow ups with the customer care people I have not received any concrete answer for the same. Kindly do the needful at the earliest as my cover note is valid only upto 19th April 2008.

ICICI Lombard — policy document not recieved

I HAD PURCHASE TWO WHELEER POLICY ON 05/11/2008 AND I WAS PROMISED SOMEBODY THAT I WILL GET MY POLICY HARD COPY WITH IN 7 DAYS BUT I HAVEN'T RECIEVED MY POLICY DOCUMENT YET MY POLICY NUMBER IS 3005/W-322788/00/000. I WOULD REQUEST U TO WORK ON SAME AND PLZ SEND ME POLICY DOCUMENTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Refund not yet granted for policy which was disapproved

I have applied online for motor insurance through icici lombard.The policy was not given to me stating that vehicle was not fit for policy where as surveyor never visited and checked the vehicle.

When i asked for refund for amount taken for policy lombard personells are asking for my credit card statements which i have already sent.

i am following up from them from last 6 months but there has been no firm commitment., i am mentally harrsed.

I have written mails in this regrd to icici and they are just not looking upon their records and want to verify my records whether i have paid money or not.This is rediculous and utter nonsense.

I look for refund of money and damages

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Wrong policy booking

I have been charged Rs.5300 in my credit card statement towards a ICICI Lombard general inurnace Policy that too in not my name. This is a real cheating. Funnisest part of after they realized that they have made a mistake stil I am wasting my time coordinating with them for the refund, appreciate if I get any help in terms of who should I be taking this next with. actually I am coordinatng with one fo the customer service manager but I am not satisfied wit the response.

i was meet and accident on 28th march-2009 at jamnagar dwarka highway 11 km far from jamnagar. i have give my tavera car to repair at authorise gm motors workshop at rajkot. my tavera car insurance policy from icici lombarad general insurance. my car is repair and ready but insurance compny have do them procedure late . and therefore they have avoid to give me chashless benifit. so gm motors give me my car on my responsiblity. but insurance company have not get any steps for the case. my claim no. is mot01072026

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Fraudulent ways of Pushing their Insurance Policy

I am Haresh Shah from Mumbai, India. On 20th April 2009, I had got a call from some Mr. Abhishek Sharma (Phone No. [protected]) stating that if I agree to accept an insurance policy and later reject it, my credit limit would be increased to 90 thousand INR. Falling prey to their trap, I did agree to go for it and later got a confirmation call from them, asking me all sorts of questions to which, as told by their fraudulent employee, I answered yes. I was told I would get another confirmation call, in which I have to say no, and later my policy would be canclled in 45 days. But later, to my dismay, no such thing happened, and the company kept on deducting EMis from my credit card and even my Card Limit was blocked to the policy premium amount. Later, when I called up on their helpline (NO. [protected]), I get to know that they do not make 2 calls but just one call for the policy, and that now I would have to bear CANCELLATION CHARGES OF 1700 ODD RUPEES. This is a clear case of white collar theft, and I am raising it here for others to beware of such fraudulent calls from these day-light robbers. I am also going to raise this issue in the Consumer Forum. But others, please take care and never heed to such false calls leading to a well planned company trapping policy to just snatch money out of our pockets. I would rather prefer these people to get down on streets with bowls and start begging rather than cheating people like this. Atleast by begging they won't get curses of people.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — No information, no Card given

After a call from Lombard they charged me on my credit card for 2 years general insurance. After which i never heard from them. Neither they send me any acknowledgement, info on the insurance benefits, no TTK card given. After 1 year when i write to their customer care, they promised to send me the card, which after 2 years full service period is over have never sent. They have hidden the service benefits from me. They call again at the end of the tenure for renewal.
I have not been able to go for treatment for the want of heavy bills which can arise.

I exchanged some discussions with customer care regarding this, they are not ready to compensate with anything or not been able to do anything.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Fraud and Malpractice

I had applied for Mediclaim for Winne Correa my mother, age 63. At the time of applying for the same the agent of the company mentioned that there would not be any medical check up for the policy to be issued, thus went ahead with the process. The agent asked me to pay for the same - I made a check of Rs6881 immediately, written in favour of Icicilombardgeneralinsurance. After the application was processed I was informed that my mother would have to go through the medical check, i immediately asked for a refund. Spoke with the contact centre at [protected] (Nishant) who mentioned the needful woould be done, later on spoke with the manager of the contact centre as well - Lolita, who confirmed the same. I am awaiting for the refund since then, it has been 25 days, and now those guys are not even answering my calls. I hope this compaint may expedite the process.
I have been mislead while selling the policy by the agent of ICICI prudential life insurance i was told to pay 20, 000 one time which will be doubled in 3 years but later i got to know that i have to pay more premiums if i dont pay further premium then my initial payment will be nullified i was niot aware of thiis rule since i was not informed about it while buying the product similarkly my sister had also invested 30, 000 in the same scheme. I would like to get back my initial payment hence i need your help please guide me.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance — no status about the amount paid RS 1500 /= for agentship in AUG 08

i have not received any intimation call for qualifiication as ICICI LOMBARD AGENT FOR INSURANCE , even i have paid the amount Rs 1500/- in AUG08 and since than even after reminding to some persons who were working at the time of call in ICICI LOMBARD like MR. ATUL & as remember MR. JASWIR SINGH , but presently no person is available for contact and I do not have any way to contact through phone or get a assurance to get the status of this paid money has gone in which account.
Pls pass on this message to concerned branch and request this branch concerned persons to reply suitably for the same.

Dear All:

This is a typical case of my wife receiving such calls and ended up in purchasing by force an unwanted ICICI Lombard GIC policy ( No: 4034/FPS/40216242/00/000). After repeated followup and request to revert back the policy, there seems to be no response or reaction from either the agency or the ICICI bank credit card division. This is pure organised crime. Worst situation is you are charged interest to the policy payment by the ICICI Credit card agency inspite of you make advance payments also. This blood sucking contiunes like leeches without your awareness, such sad stories are not spoken out or completely subverted. It is my concern that there will be hundred's of such cases.

We need help to resolve this and repair such bad practises done by such organisations.
