Res. Sir,
I purchased a credit card from Barclay bank and they made it mandatory for me to purchase a health insurance policy of icici lombard, and 8290 Rs was deducted from my credit card balance.I dont want to avail this policy .
And this is a cheating, how can they force people and make it mandatory.Please help me in cancelling this policy

ICICI Credit Card Division and ICICI Lombard both are a big cheater. Please be aware while dealing with them. They give false statement and miscommunicate the people and extort money from them.

I AM K.Gayathri, My Policy no 4034/FPP/03596290/00/000 IN LOMBARD INSURENCE POLICY, I HAVE BEEN COMPELLED TO TAKE POLICY BY MAGIC WORDS OF REPRESENTATIVES.THANK YOU.

NOW I AM NOT INTRESTED TO CONTINUE MY POLICY.IF YOU TRACE MY RECORDS YOU UNDERSTAND .

I HAVE DECIDED VERY STICTLY NOT CONTINUE THE LOMBORD POLICY, HENCE PLEASE KINDLY DO THE NEEDFULL AND CANCELL MY POLICY AND REPAYMENT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
Can you tell me how do we cancel this policy?

icici lombard life insurance agent cleverly got my credit card no.on phone and make a insurance
policy, without my knowledge, when i told them to cancel the policy they did not do this saying that i[censored]cancel the policy, you will have to pay rs 4000.what shouli i do
I have applied for a home loan for Rs 88 lacs with ICICI HFC LTD.I have also received a sanction for the same.The problem is ICICI home loan team is forcing me to take an insurance policy with one time premium of about 3.5 lac which i do not wish to take since i have already covered myself with a insurance term plan cover for my life of 1 cr.Even after explaining the fact, they have withheld the file and are pressurising for the same.

ICICI Bank — Accept Health premium for cancelling credit card

Hi... I have taken an ICICI future credit card. After 1 month when i used it at a retail store, it says "CARD INVALID".
I called up to customer care regarding this, and they suggested me to do a Balance Inquiry on any ATM machine so that they can verify their logs. I did nothing, but i got a Call after 1 week saying that "Sorry sir, your card is not activated; this is a mistake at our end. Can we activate it now". I was no more in the mood of continuing the credit card and asked them to cancel the card. This is what they said "Sir, we don’t have the authority to cancel this card, you need to accept a Health insurance premium first, once you accept this premium then we get the authority to cancel this card". i inquired if there were any charges and they replied there will be no charges. once i accept the premium card would be cancelled.

First they transferred the call to ICICI Lombard department (Chennai). Credit card Dept. prepared me with the questions that ICICI Lombard department will ask and i need to accept all the conditions. I simply said yes to all they said (This is the big mistake i did).After 10/15 min after the acceptance call, ICICI credit card department called me and said that the card would be cancelled and asked me to ignore any mobile/email alerts i receive. Next month i received a SMS saying dues on my credit card. i ignored it as suggested. I got a Call after 3 months from Credit card department asking me to clear dues. I explained the Whole story of cheating me. They are questioning me back how i trusted a fake call and said there are no details of any call made from Customer care to my mobile on the date i mentioned and told me to sort this with Lombard dept. I called Lombard dept. and they say that, "Sir, you accepted all the terms in the call". you should have asked us in the call that, "Is this a mandate to accept a Health premium for cancelling Credit card". i spent 2 to 3 days calling both ICICI Credit card and Lombard dept and finally ended with paying my dues (+ a mobile bill of 100/- plus)as cancelling the policy would charge 50% of total premium...(2700/-)


THESE GUYS ARE CHEATERS!!!! This happened even to one of my friend ... please be cautious !!!

ICICI LOMBARD/ HEALTH INSURANCE — CANCELLATION OF POLICY

Dear Sir,
I purchased Health Insurance policy from ICICI LOMBARD, for my father, on phone. I already have policy on the name of my mother from same company. At the time of purchase of policy the Sales Executive of Company told that its same policy which you purchased for your mother. But today when I received policy document, some difference found regarding renewal of policy.
As per new clause if you make claim during insured period then premium increase by up to 75%. As its too harsh for customer, I request for cancellation but they said for that 25% of premium amount deducted by way of cancellation charges if we cancel during first 30days of insured period. When i argued about that same fact not disclosed at the time of purchase of policy, but they deny all arguments.
I want to cancel policy but without any charges because they not disclosed fact.
Please guide me what should I do in this matters.

ICICI Lombard — Person Still not responding

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago, we had called in ICICI bank for getting the Medical Insurance from your company and had also ordered for my Bike Insurance. One of your reps named Sudhakar had come down to collect all the documents for Mediclaim and Bike insurance.

Its been almost 3 weeks now and he is still yet to get the Bike insurance for me. I have tried calling him many a times but there is no response from his side.

Its a humble request to ICICI to ensure that they have a keen watch on the people that are working for them as if the same trend continues, I am sure that people like me and many more may take their business from ICICI bank to some one else. Currently i hold all my bank accounts in ICICI bank and now looking at the service, I am planning to move my service off ICICI and go to some other more reliable bank.

I have already paid my due in time and requested to close my card No.xxxxxxxxxx2934. Further you have shown amounting Rs.109.32 to be paid by 25th March, 2009.

Dear Sir,

Ihave asked by your representative over phone the benefits of policy
and as per that when i received the policy i found that iwas cheated

I received the three policies

1. OOHCP[protected] By name Shailendra Vaidya
2. OOHCP[protected] By Name Vandana Vaidya
3. OOHCP[protected] By Name Shifa Vaidya

Also i have been asked that the payment procedure will start after
receiving the policies and if you dont like you can cancelle this
after receiving the policies on toll free no.

I have already loged the request with customer care and request
no.is[protected] on same day evening when i received the policies.
Also today i spoke to cancell the policies and received request no.
94392.
With this Pl..help me to cancell the three policies and confirm
the cancellation by mail.

Hi i have included my parents as my dependents in insurance first i was not aware that money would be deducted from my salary account (My company gave me and didnd mention anything about deductions) later i have lost huge amount on my salary when i spoke to my HR department i was told my insurance policy cannot be cancelled only at the renewal period in December it will be cancelled is there anyother soluction for this?
i have used icici credit card for past 7 month, now they insists to take a icici health card for raising the credit card limit, but till date i have not received the relevent documents.hence i request you to cancel this card.

Im facing similar issue as Vana Sree madam.They forced(one women named Priya from ICICI lOMABRD CUSTOMER CARE) me saying it is mandatory now I am suffering to cancel this Lomabard policy.I even closed the ICICI account.When I want to close this credit card came to know that since this policy is there I cant close credit card without closing the policy. After two month when I contacted the Loambrd customer care they are asking cancellation fee of 4000 rs .
I have also received credit card overdue payment message of 1077rs
I never used credit card or health card.
Now do I have to pay for this thing which I never used?

Anyone please suggest a way to close this thing.
