[Resolved]  ICICIcredit Card — Abusing & Mental Harrasment

Dear Sir / Madam,
I Ms. Sanjala Suryawanshi presently residing with my mother and daughter at Yashashree Bldg. A-11, Flat No. 202 Behind Gokuldham Temple Dindoshi Goregaon (East) Mumbai – 4000063, I am working as a Head of Operations with Shakuntalam Telefilms Pvt Ltd from 2007.
Sir I have been constantly getting threats and abuses from the recovery agent Mr. Aditya who is working for Siddhi Business solutions, Shivshakti Industrial Estate Andheri Kurla Rd. Unit No. 8 Andheri East Ground Floor
I have been constantly getting threats and abuses from the recovery agent Mr. Aditya who is working for Siddhi Business solutions, Shivshakti Industrial Estate Andheri Kurla Rd. Unit No. 8 Andheri East Ground Floor.

I was holding an ICICI account from 1998 I have been always using Debit card but in 2005 when I was shopping in Hub Mall Goregaon east I was forced to take a Women’s Special Credit Card. Card No. is [protected] issued on 20th June 2005. Closing was A lady who was giving me this card told me that as this is a special card there won’t be interest charged on the same & ask me to keep an auto debit facility of Rs. 2000 every month which will be debited from account. I believed her & took the card after that they kept auto debiting Rs. 2000 every month from my account in spite of that they kept sending me statements with Interests. And in 2007 they auto debited Rs. 9000 from my account without any intimation. I was very upset and tried to talk to them I had gone to their office at J. B. Nagar but they did not respond properly I was asked to wait for hours. Since I am working it was not possible for me to do a daily follow up by going there so I decided to close my account with ICICI and opened a new account with HDFC.
This all started in first week of July 2009 when Mr. Surendra Shukla another sub agent was sent by Mr. Aditya to my residence. My mother was alone with my daughter. My mother is 74yr. old & suffering from Low blood pressure and also has other health problems due to her age so she is unwell so she requested mr. shukla to come back once my daughter Ms. Sanjala is home in the evening hearing that Mr. Shukla called MR. Aditya and made him speak to my Mom. Mr. Aditya was very rude to my mom and started abusing my mother by pretending that your daughter is fraud & we will take very strict action & put her behind the bars so my Mother was panic. She tried calling me but due to network problem she was not able to get through. So called my family friend Mr. Nitin Bandekar a Cinematographer & requested him to call me. He called me & told me about what was happening at home. I called my mother immediately and told her to cool down I spoke to Mr. Surendra. & requested him to come back once I am home.
The very next day I received a call from Mr. Aditya who began the conversation very rudely with me where I was trying to be polite but his language was very humiliating & abusive he was demanding either I should pay the entire amount or come down for the settlement for which I told him that I will come after a week & he agreed but I was not comfortable to go & meet him because of his abusive behavior so he started calling me again which went on for a week.He went on calling me franticly from different different land line and cell numbers those numbers are[protected],[protected], [protected], [protected]. I told my family friend Mr. Shailesh to look in to it & through Shailesh’s source I got to speak to Mr. Satish Iyyer, Manager from ICICI whom I narrated the entire incident and then he promised me that he will stop this activity, but I should come down to their office with my convenient time and settle this issueI agreed for the same. These days I have been really tied up with my work so was not able to go but told him to wait for 2 more days & once I get free I will surely come to discuss. Mr. Satish agreed but again since yesterday Morning i.e.29th July 2009 Mr. Aditya started calling and threatening me. Mr. Shukla was again sent to my place.

They have made my life full of stress i am suffering from low blood pressure.My health has affected badly i am not able to digest food, have complaints related to head ache & stomach ache. Since i am the only earning member of my family & have a responsibility of my 2yr. old daughter & 75yr old mother My mother is going through health problems because of this tension. Who will be responsible if any thing happens to me or my mother and my daughter? My life is at stake and i have lodge a complaint against ICICI in Dindoshi Police Station.
My prayer to you is that I have full faith in Consumer Court that I will not be disappointed. kindly request you to take strict action against this activity & I need your help.

I am also facing the same issue...a lady is calling me from the same no.i.e. [protected] telling me she is from ICICI bank and some one has given my reference for credit card...and asking that they will follow up at my residential add...however i dont know the person who has given my reference..after reading your complaint i believe its a fraud case...just let me know how can I handle this...Any suggestions please...

We need to put together a suicide campaign against this bank. If enuff people gather outside their branch and commit mass suicide it would put this issue on focus. also we cud burn their branches down on the way. ICICI sucks! I would like to see them fall.

I completely agree with Sanjala Suryawanshi. I have a personal loan with HDFC bank and I always use to pay that by giving money when one of their agent comes to collect it. But I stopped making payment by cash later when I came to know that I have been cheated by them as the person who collected money did not deposit money in HDFC account. And from that day I give them only cheque. This month in July 13th i.e. Friday, I have given them one cheque as I had an EMI pending and unfortunately the cheque bounced. Later I got a call from some Pratap Shetty who is working with Siddhi Business Solutions, Shivshakti Industrial Estate Andheri Kurla Rd. Unit No. 8 Andheri East Ground Floor, the same place from where Sanjala Suryawanshi also got a call. I explained him that its difficult to give cash as I have been cheated in the past so can give you only cheque, but he didn’t agree. Later I agreed to give cash, take a risk one more time and told him that you can collect cash on Saturday as now I am in office and don’t have cash in hand and hence on you can collect it on Saturday. But instead of saying yes he is now giving threats and abusing me, my mother and family. I think some employees are mannerless in this company and Mr Pratap Shetty is one of them who don’t have manner and don’t know how to speak to anyone. Please help me find some solution to teach a lesson to this Pratap Shetty. Kindly take some strict action towards him.
