[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd. — FREQUENTLY REJECTING MNP REQUESTS

Dear Sir,

we had raised MNP requests to portout our numbers to vodaforn 3 times. In first 2 instants IDEA has rejected the requests by saying the reason " contractual obligation". After that we had settled all commercial issues & changed the bill plan as guided by them. And they have verbally committed that now there is no obligations to porting out the numbers. Accordingly we raised the MNP request once again, but they cheated us & rejected it again requests with new UPC code also by saying the reason“ the porting code does not matching the donor allocated porting code for this number”, and we found the UPC number quoted in rejection message was the old one. When we asked IDEA personal who is handling corporate accounts about the same, they simply said they have no idea that how it happened.

IDEA people are always serching for new excuses to stop/rejecting porting out the
numbers to other service providers.

If they have no IDEA about, what they are doing & how resolve these type of issues, they shoud have stop/withdraw advertising “ An IDEA can change the life” & What an IDEA sirji”

Pls. help us to portout our company mobile numbers to vodafone at the earlist.

Also you are requested to do the needfull to ban the advertisement from the market.

Dear Sir,



IDEA has rejected our new MNP requests with new UPC code also by saying the reason “ the porting code

in your letter head duly signed/sealed by the authorized signatory clearly saying that

there is no contractual obligation, no payment dues, no objection to port out the numbers.

But IDEA has not yet taken any positive action on it ever after all commercial issues has been settled &

not providing NOC for port out the numbers. When we talk with your officials they are simply saying

“ No idea” about the obligations & searching new excuses to reject our MNP requests.



If IDEA people doesn’t have any idea about the obligations they are having, then they should stop

advertising “ An IDEA can change the life” & What an IDEA sirji”



If they are giving this type of response to a corporate customer, then what will be the response they

are giving to individuals?



You are requested to take the necessary action & help us to port out our numbers to Vodafone at the earliest.



For further reference, pls. find the scanned copy of payment receipt / Cheque / No due certificate received against

the final settlement for our old account IDs attached & details of Mobile Numbers with username, new UPC.

First of all you are requested the clarify the details of Contractual Obligations you are having with us.

Pls. note that your corporate account Manager committed us that the earlier porting request was rejected due to

Nonpayment of the out standing amount for the numbers transferred to Simtech which is not under our liability &

We made the payment for the from our account & collected/surrendered all the FCT instruments to IDEA

After that he had given us the no due Certificate & said that NOC has been directly forwarded to the concerned

Clearing house/ there no contractual obligations & now porting request can be send. Accordingly we had made the

porting request again. But IDEA Cellular Ltd, cheated us & rejected the request again by saying the reason

“contractual obligation”.



Payment our active Account ID 8.10263589 for the month of Feb-2011 is ready with our account department.

But will hand over the payment to your person only after getting a certificate in your letter head duly

signed/sealed by the authorized signatory clearly saying that there is no contractual obligation,

no payment dues, no objection to port out the numbers & So you are requested to send your person along

with the certificate & co operate with us to port out the mentioned numbers to Vodafone..

We have already cleared the outstanding bills and handed over all FCT instruments to Nirmal Patel of Idea.

& IDEA has issued us the No due Certificate for the same.



Pls. note that We have already applied twice to port out our nos.,but the same was rejected by IDEA again,

by saying the reason “CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION”. So you are requested to clarify the matter, and

issue NOC to Vodafone.



Also you are requested to send your person along with a certificate in your letter head duly

signed/sealed by the authorized signatory clearly saying that there is no contractual obligation,

no payment dues, no objection to port out the numbers & collect the payment of our active

Account ID 8.10263589 for the month of Feb-2011& co operate with us to port out the above

mentioned numbers to Vodafone..





For further reference Pls. find the copies of



(a) No due certificate issued by IDEA for earlier outstanding payments.

(b) last mail communication with Mr. Nirmal Patel

(c) Scanned copy of cheque.



Note : As per the terms agreed with us IDEA is not supposed to activate any service in the company name, without written

OR mail instruction from the key person or their authorized representative, but IDEA has violated this clause.



Ie; (1) activated caller tunes & GPRS in many of the numbers.
