[Resolved] IFB Fully Automatic Washing Machine — Complaint not being attended properly | |
I purchased Alite model of IFB washing machine in 2007. It is under Warranty period upto 2011. I lodged a complaint about overheating of the machine on 15.1.2009. The problem has not been attended properly even after repeated phone calls to local Jaipur office and to the Call Centre complaint No. The service engineer has been coming and going without proper part for replacement. We are told that the defective part will come from Goa. I spoke to Officer-in-Charge of IFB at Jaipur (who claims to be an engineer herself) on 26th February, 2009.She promised to see that the defect in the machine is rectified within 5 days. Another 10 days have passed but the solution is no where in sight. It appears the defective part is yet to be received from Goa. In these days of fast communication, why cant Jaipur office get the correct replacement within 2 days from Goa. We are frustated. IFB — Complaint Not being attended to
I had logged a complaint with IFB customer care helpline on 08-Jan-09 with complaint number 2596981. Till now, this has not been addressed even after taking an AMC from them. After regular follow-ups, the technician visited after a week and told that a part needs to be replaced and he’ll get it done in next 2 days. However, till date, this has not been replaced. We are tired of following up with their customer care number. One has to wait atleast 10-15 min to speak to the person in customer call center but even after that there is no solution that they can provide except giving the contact number of local area service center. In the service centre, they just assure that it will be done today but nothing happens. Their service is absolutely frustrating and all you get from IFB are false commitments and disgusting response. I had a problem withmy fully automatic washing machine Model: AW60-806 in the month of November. A service man turned out a week after registering the complaint and checked the machine and told that a washer/ valve is to be replaced and will be done next day. Till date no body turned up inspite of more than 50 telephone calls. Every time they respond that they would send a person or forward our complaint and nothing is done. Why is the service so poor? Our complaint number was 2423870 when we had given the first complaint on 13-11-08. we bought ifb fully automatic washing machine 3 years back and we have done amc for 4 years but your company is not providing any service. when we do complaint then after ssome days aperson came but boes nothingand promised to come back after few days now almost three months have passes no body cameaccording to me they will only come when our amc will get expired

I had a w/machine senorita plus .It was not working properly last november 2008.I wrote the problem in alog book and intimated the to the technician .but the technician was not attend the problem and simply he was not able to do it.please to do the needful thing for me to activate.

Last 5-6 months surf MATIC for front load machines is not available in the army canteen. suggest names of suitable detergent for front load IFB fully automatic machine (preferably available in Milatary canteen).WE HAVE SEARCHED ON THE SITE BUT THERE IS NO INFORMATION

IFB fully automatic washing machine — PATHETIC REDRESSAL OF COMPLAINTS
I have never seen such lethargic customer care elsewhere. IFB sucks.I have been following up with the customer care since the 10TH February 2009 TILL DATE and my AMC period is just getting wasted and no one seems to respond. Its terrible and pathetic. The branch managers react like dummies and ignorant people. They just do not know how to handle customers.THEY SEND THEIR TECHNICIANS WHO ARE TOTALLY RAW AND IGNORANT AND KEEP ON CHANGING THE PARTS OF THE MACHINE WITHOUT GETTING TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. THE RESULT IS THAT THE MACHINE IS NEVER FIT FOR WORKING.
IFB WASHING MACHINE — Complaint not being attended
I have IFB washing machine and it is under AMC. I lodged a complaint no. 5064279 on 4th Sep. 2010 but no body is attending the same though I call their customer care helpline daily. They ahve given number of owner of service center (Mr. Rajat Jain [protected]) but no body is picking. I do not waht to do with their attitude.This was case in past also as you ahve follow for days to get the complaint attended.

Washing machine(Fully Automatic) — No Service
I bought a washing maschine of whirlpool Dec. 2009. In the month of september 2010 maschine is not working, then i called customer care and they committe daily basis that engineer visit today but last 5 days they did not visti at all, and i called continue 5 days, three times a day and every times they committ today engineers visit.Pankaj Kumar

IFB Fully Automatic Washing Machine — machine's cylinder is not moving
i have an ifb fully automatic front load washing machine ...it's cylinder or drum in which the clothes are loaded,is not moving as it does....that's why the machine is unable to wash the clothes....so plz consider my complaint and take action on it.....thank you!!!!! I truly agree to the above said statement..the washing which i have too wasnt working and i registered my complaint on the 4th of october..even i have taken an AMC, the date today is13th of october and till date i havent received a call from the Techies, , , i keep calling these guys everyday, , and they assure me that the machine would be fixed in a day, but sorry to say, all they commit is lies..i suggest anyone whose planning to buy an IFB product to think twice before they do so..the service is very very very poor.

i made a mistake of buying an IFB washing machine....i have paid for AMC...i have booked complaint on[protected]....they have given a false assurance that it will be attended in 24 hrs...nothing has happened after 3 days inspite of my repeated calls...now neither the company nor the hyderabad branch people are not even taking calls.....i feel this is because they dont get any extra money because it is in AMC... My IFB washing machine is under warranty and I am in Delhi .In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal. my complaints no are 7675810 & 7695231.
