Hello,

I have a IFB digital 6K washing machine. IFB support the customer on call basis for out of warranty machines. I am shifting the house from one area to other area. IFB has the procedure that they use to lock the washing machine before we shipping.
I have raised a ticket on 24th April 2012 (Ticket Number: 8717045) with IFB and clearly requested that I need the service on 28th April (Locking the Washing machine) as shipping scheduled on 29th to New address. The service technisian called me the next day and I have explained the same to him that I am need this locking service on 28th April. He requested me to raise one more ticket on friday to take this ticket.
I have called IFB customer care on Friday night and registerd my request. I was keep following up with customer care number, they have provided me the service center land line number and contact person (Raghavendra). I spoke to him twice, second time when I was speaking with him he was asking for the warranty details I have told him that it is out of warranty, he said that they will charge either Rs. 331 or Rs. 351, I said I am fine with that. Finally he confirmed me that that the technisian visit my home between 4:00 and 4:30 and do the needful. I was waiting, waiting for the person, since no one is turned till 6:00 PM, I have called IFB again, the response from customer care is good and they have provided me the point of contact number, I have called his number but it was responding with busy, I was waiting for his response but he did not responded back. Finally, I dont have any option and I am from technical background, gone through the manual and locked the machine. As planned my packers came on 29th April 2012, and safely moved to my new house.
I got a call @ around 12:30 PM on sunday from the service provider which is of no use for me. I conveyed my message that I have done my self for the movement.
Without providing the service they have closed the ticket. I have not requested them to close the ticket.

Is this the way of service does IFB provide the customer?
All are know that IFB washing machines are costly and this is digital 6KG. and we trust that IFB take care on the service, but if they have such service providers they the customer is in trouble and I dont want to recommend the product to any of my friends and relatives.

IFB having the failure in identifying the service provider.

Finally, I am totally disappointed the way the Serivce provider spoke to me. He said that you do want ever you want it. Is this the way does the person speak with the customer?

The compliant was lodged some where in the last week of August
Technician comes on 1st September checks the machine says the digital circuit should be replaced and then he calls me on one working day I ask him to come on Saturday as I am working and that's it ,he didn't turn up from that time no call again .

I called the call center and they give me the number of the Manager/Owner close to my home

After 3rd day of his assurance I call him to find out the status, and this gentleman doesn't even feel to answer my call

I am calling from past 3days and no luck dear !!!

You guys as on IFB most disgusting service that any on can go for
Take the machine back and give me back my money I didn't buy your product to under go this much of pain


IFB Should be BANNED in India and all the owners should get their money back from you guys

It is really unfortunate that being a customer of IFB for more than a decade and regularly renewing the AMC is of no effect. Its sheer wastage of money !!

My IFB washing machine is not working for the past 12 days. After lot of deliberations I could reach out to the service folks of IFB on Aug 26th. They assured of sending a service engineer within 48 hours but astonishingly nobody turned up with a solution. The complaint no. is 7026061.

Today agin I tried reaching to the cell nos. provided by IFB people - [protected] and [protected]. While, there is no response on the first cell no., the 2nd no. was reachable and the lady attending to my call assured that she will get back to me within 30 minutes. To my utter despair, its been more than 2 hours now and I am yet to receive any call !!


Such casual and non - professional approach of a reputed company is beyond understanding. And this has been a regular affair with IFB. Need to see some action taken such that consumer does not suffer the way I am suffering.
1)I have purchased IFB Elena Machine directly from your jaipur office supplied here in Kota by your IFB representative Mr Deshraj the machine has following serial no 009277 and Bar code 1EL050011IW1294436.
Payment was handed over to Sh DeshRaj for further transmission to Jaipur office
2)Mr Desh Raj himself commissioned the machine .Afer showing its satisfactory performance handed over company warranty for period of 2 years , He gave us the further offer of company warranty for period of 2 more year against certain payment . I have opted it made payment and took 2 years extended warranty also i.e full period for 4 years . During the period Mrs Desh Raj has never come on its own self to ensure any preventive maintenance .

3) In september 2011 beginning I observed that machine Rotation has altogether stopped working while the programme running up to the end , I repoted the matter to Mr Desh Raj After 3 4 days of the repeated phone call he informed some other gentleman will reach and attend the fault.
4) Next day a gentleman came reported some failure of part , he asked of the warranty papers . I cheaked but I could not trace he my own paper i.I told him to check the machine service record and its Job card you will find all entry's there . As company record is reliable data , we can go ahead with it . He told me to contact Mr Desh Raj also.
5) I contacted Mr Desh Raj and told him that you have installed the Machine and given the warranty and taken money for extended period .All the entries must be maintained in some register or job card . He did not gave any definite reply .On further follow up he told me the requied part for repair is being arranged from jaipur . I hve to wait some next 5- 6 days he did not devulge the job card status when I asked him on telephone .
6) On 14/09/2011 Instead of himself he again send same earlier gentleman to repair and replace PCB Card . Machine started performing missing cycle . But handling of equipment by this man was unprofessional
7) He told me that in company does not maintain any record of sold machines . and customer has to produce his own document for caim of warranty .Repair is done on payment and billed to me with Rs 1832 , Every thing was to my surprise.
8) I am sure the company like your dealing with home appliance cannot afford to have unrecorded system in this completive market , there must be record of every machine sold or supplied .It is clear that warranty period is not over as its clear IFB bill of jaipur office and payment recived my Mr Deshraj on 25/10/07 (copy of the Bill is attached and copy of pass book of bank is also attached )
9) The entry of Pass book has entry for payment made for extended warranty ( as shown in next cheque ) this can be seen your records in jaipur / Kota office ..
10) Warranty Services are provided for machine at least upto 25 oct 2011 free of charge by right profession men . This is required to ensured .
11) Maony Rs 1832 charged from me paid back without dely
12) In oct 2007 , I was told by your jaipur office that Mr Deshraj is IFB representative for servicing . Now in Sept 2011 when I realy need the company help Mr Desh Raj behavioured in irresponsible manner .

We requested to carry out a service in our Microwave oven which was purchased four years before.
After a couple of reminders one technician came to our home and he did not know even to open the service cover of the oven. He made a mess of the oven and our kitchen.
Finally he came up with the verdict that the power supply board is complaint and need to be replaced. They did not have the board and will take several weeks. The price would be around 2500 rupees plus service charges and no guarantee for the same.
I enquired in just dial for IFB service centre and got a reply of some other service centre that is functioning on behalf of IFB.
I asked the person about the matter and he replied that IFB service centre replies only to those people whose machines are under warranty.

the after sales service of the IFB products is declined.
I have a dish washer model Neptune dx model.There is no after sales service, so please do not buy aIFB dish washer.They fool you about the spares or technician and so on.

Our IFB washing machine model no EVA AQUA SX, Sr No.[protected], was showing some error code, and is not working.

Sir, I had put complaint before 6 days, and till time no one had visited my house to solve my complaint. and every day customer care department giving me wrong commitment.

I bought a washing machine on 06/05/2008, IFB 5 KG/Elena from Next Retial shop ASRAO nagar.
Product has 2 years warranty.

In between whenever there was a problem i had to pay huge amount for the machine to work so on 25/07/2016 i had taken AMC for the period from 25/07/2016 to 24/07/2017.

On 11/08/2016 washing machine stopped while working. I made a complaint for service on 11/08/2016, registered complaint number is [protected], when the complaint was made i was told by customer care executive that it will be attended within 24 hours, but none came for service next day. I again contacted their toll free number and their local number on 13/08/ 2016 one of their service person Mr. Jagapati[protected] came and checked and told door lock is not working and since it is under AMC we need to pay Rs.120 for outer lock and he left saying will come back with the part.

Till today i made more than 10 calls to either Mr. Jagapati[protected] customer care number ([protected]) and service engineer ([protected]) but none came to rectify it.

when i called up customer care number ([protected]) they intimated me that the complaint is cancelled because of me not picking up the phone and that they again registered complaint number is [protected]

almost 13 days are over after registering the complaint and still no response from them. Not even a phone call stating how is the problem?????? Only when i contacted they are responding saying engineer will come and rectify.

I never knew ifb has such a bad service back up. And they dont care what ever happens. I am not understanding if they cant give proper service to the customer then whats the point on taking AMC ???????

Now almost 15 days have passed, engineer named ram had come on 24th august replaced inner door lock and left saying mcb has to be replaced. Today 27th august nobody turned up to even look after what happened
to the machine.

Strange but true. Ridiculous and improper service. Really hectic with IFB people.

In fact i say that IFB has mentally tortured me for last 3 months.

22/10/16 - it is almost 3 months and the issue is they have replaced motor and timer. Ystrdy when the engineer came he said to change the outer body of the machine. I have clearly stated that if the machine is atleast running i would hv changed it. Now they are not bothered at all."

In the end i request you to take away the parts replaced in the machine and give back my AMC amount.

Please look into the matter at the earliest or else i will proceed to consumer court.
