I fully agree that this is really a fraud company dont go by the neame of india today now i realise that they have become big by looting fools like us by making false offfres .I had recieved offers like this in nov 08 and ordered them 20 cd packs worth 2599 paid the cash on delivery in january then when i didn't recieve the free gifts i called up the customer care nearly 20 times since jan and every one initially kept saying that it will be delivered in seven days and nothing happened, later when i kept on calling each one of the tele executive started putting my call on hold for a very long time till i disconnect.I am not going to leave this company like this, i am going to lodge an fir with all the invoice, the offer call details etc so that people like us can be protected from company like this india today book club.

Dear Sir/Madam,

i had ordered for a pack of 16 classical CDs. i was told that along with the CDs, i would be getting a holiday package and an air ticket absolutely free. the CDs arrived and i vene paid for it but i did not recive any holiday package adn air ticket as promised.
on calling your customer care number[protected], i was told to go to the this web page

and put in my unique id number.when i tried, the site is non working and is under maintainence. they say it will start in 3 days but its already been 20 days and the site is still not working.

again today when i called ur customer care, they say i will have to keep trying like this. so shameless...

they have no shame n regret in saying these things. when u make offres, u pretend to be so caring and pursuasive but once u get the money, u r behaving like shameless ppl. such a big group India Today and such fraud games...

either refund the money back or provide me the promised stuff.

dear friend, this is the same case as yours.I have recieved a offer of holiday coupan and banton glasses but when recieved the order, only glasses were mentioned as gift and 500rs wereasked in advance as handling and courier charges.This is not fare from aeputed company.pl. do something.regards

I purchased a pack of 16 CDs for Rs. 1099. With this I was supposed to receive a pair of reebok T-Shirts (number 40) and a Benneton Sun Glass. Since the gift was not there, I phoned ITBC and they told me to log in the website www.booktoday.in/promos.htm. I tried to find out the web site but it was not there.

I am not happy and betrayed on this offer, that said some thing else and rendered some thing else.The offer said I would be getting 8CD+ T- shirt+ travel bag. But I have received only 8 no's of CD worth 1099, which was not mentioned in the advertisement e-mail sent.I believe I am cheated.

Please help me explain... if I am wrong awaiting reply.

I have also received one parcel worth Rs. 1100 in which i received 8 Cds .I dont understand if i have placed an order for reebok T-shirts then how did i waste my 1100 Rs. on these Cds which are no use for me.When i am login for my free gift then it is saying that website is not O.k.

Now i got to know that you people are making other people fool by giving them offer of free gifts but after the payment you are not giving any gift.

Really this is very dis-appointed thing that you people are doing.

the link is unavailable mostly, once i have filled the unique no given as per invoice but repeatedly they r showing error, with such a great brand name things should work easy and truthfully

i am also a sucker to fall for the india today book club offer.I have received 16 cd 'sur saaz aur taal'.but no free gifts.Since it was 'india today', i have taken the promo offer as genuine! MY MISTAKE!
