I am residing in Pang, Malappuram Dist., Kerala, India. From last 2 years i am requesting the local Gas Agency in perintalmanna Tel: [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] for new Gas connection. Whenever i go they are telling you have to come later, you have to look in the news paper like this. Last week i went myself and they told me now no new connection. I am working in UAE and my old Father and Mother are at home. I want to get a Gas connection please.

How secure the great INDIA is?? life is not safe, dirty politics, bribe, high corruption rates, pollution, no control measures over traffic, there is no politician who wants to do something good...

I'm a resident of Basavanahalli, Gurugadahalli (Post), Tiptur Tq, Tumkur Dist, Karnataka. Now I urgently need a new gas connection, for this purpose, I went to authorized Gas Agencies in Tiptur. I did request for the same and I was having my residential and identity proof that's sufficient for the new gas connection. But the same agency is denying me to give connection. They are giving reasons like my residency is village and they are telling they provide only to the urban areas. Is there any rule that saying only urban or city people can use LPG gas? Is it an offence to born in rural India? This is creating separation between rural and urban. I thing it is a serious concern. We all know India has more population in villages than urban side, but still bulk side is not able to get basic facilities.

Please consider my request and suggest me solution.

Dear sir,
I found some company (specially chemical factory) around surat is spreading air pollution with a very high amount. I can give some name but it is many so no need to describe.
You just visit that place ( udhna - sachin - bhestan ) at evening, you would not be able to take breath properly. Some company leave side product (air, gas, solid) beside railway track with affects many passangers travelling.

fon-AIR-RP B 210B. if there is something like this CP[protected]IN ten track it at www.usps.com if there is no number like this then catch hold of the concerned authorities.

I have sent 3 registaer parcel to my clint in nigeria with recipt no "CP[protected]IN" and so,
but tracking is possible, nor postal athourity responding. they no system to track the shipment, they are giving heavy loss to indian govt. they should cicked out

I sent registered airmail from India (Delhi) to lagos Nigeria on 6th april 2009 and was assured that it will be delivered within a week or 10 days...it has been 28 days now and the parcel has not been received yet.As the parcel was sent to lagos a metropolitan and not to some remote small area it was expected that a relatively prompt service will be received but it does not seem to make any difference.
I would be grateful if some immediate action is taken to trace the parcel and if it reaches the hands of the owner as soon as possible...

iam suppose to have my medical examination at AIRFORCE STATION begumpet hyderabad on 1st of june 09, DGCA delhi has sent my medical file to the "SMO Airforce station begumpet" on 25th may 2009, but there is no trace of my file at the destination...i found from the DGCA delhi that the pacel number is 480(registered post). i found from the nearest post office of the destination that there is no such parcel and they asked me to file a complaint in this regard...Iam still waitng at hyderabad looking for my file to arrive at airforce station begumpet hyderabad... hence i request u to please trace the parcel and send it to the destination as quickly as possible.

My son has sent us a parcel from Philadelphia USA vide Label/receipt number CP[protected]U S on Jan 22, 2010, which we have not yet received. It was out of Foreign Customs on Feb 9, 2010, 2:30 pm, India, but still not delivered.

I am having two MIS which are 109501 &109502. The interest of MIS are Rs400and Rs 400. Due date is 15th of every month. For the month of December '08 not yet credited to my SBI Baguiati Branch. This is regarding my speed post no. ET[protected]IN & Postman No. 20 Dated:05.01.09. I have been informed that my speed post has come & to collect with identity card, but because of some reason of office timing I can not go to post office in the time they have specified. So I sent a person with my identity card & authority letter to collect my speed post at Tilak Nagar Dombivali(E) post office . But Mrs. Zende of post office employee treated a person bearing authority letter very badly & asked to call speed post bearer to collect the letter. Now my question is why didn't she give post to authority letter bearer?. Person working can not go to post office in their office timing because his timing is too same, so the post must be given to authority letter bearer. I request post authority to hand over my post letter to authority letter bearer & take severe action against Mrs. Zende of post office employee as employee like her maligned the image of Indian Post. And this is the reason everybody is opting for private courior services.

I had posted my mediclaim renewal letter with a demand draft of Rs. 1850/- to Bhilai Steel plant Bhilai on 5?1/2009. Unfortunatly there no reference about the said letter in your web site whether it was delivered or not, though it is more than 15 dqys after posting.
It appears that the system is not working properly and concerned official is not serious about his or her job.

its nothing, you should keep in mind that you are dealing with india post where there is no one ever held responsible for any lapse. i can give you many details where they have committed big blunders but no one cares. just tolerate and wait for their mercy if they respond

I have applied for NSC certificate transfer from Mumbai Borivli H.O to Chandigarh sector 47 post office on 21/04/2009. NSC certificate number is 49EE 324439 (Rs 10000) which has been matured on 30/04/2009.Still it is not transfered from Borivli post office. Now a days it is taking too much time for transfer. Same thing I have experienced about 02 months back also with same post office branch. Kindly look into the matter & do the needful.

i also applied for transfer of national savings certificate for Rs/ 40000 issue price from churchgate post office mumbai 400020 maturing on 22nd january 2009 through rajinder nagar post office new delhi 110060 in january 2009 and again sent a reminder on 22nd january 2010 but there is no response from churchgate post office mumbai 400020 even after 1year 3 months have already passed.rajinder nagar new delhi 110060 post office is unable to help as the nsc have to be verified by churchgate post office mumbai 400020. i had similar
situation from kandivali west mumbai post office a year back.
i am looking for appropriate authority to register my complaint.

I can not agree more with the callous attitide of the post offices here.

My daughter's PAN card (coupon no.[protected] was despatched from Mumbai on 22/12.08 under certificate of posting (UCP No.PO[protected].

I had been constantly enquiring with the HSR BDA Complex PO and the lady officer in charge kept on assuring that no such mail came from the PAN department. Finally, yesterday the PAN service office at Ulsoor, Bangalore prvided an updated print out of the status of that PAN card which was not even returned to the sender as there was no such record. I would imagine it was lost under the heap o[censored]ndelivered letters or just thrown on the road.

Such is the inefficiency and slack tracking system at the post offices in this modern IT capital of the country! With the tax submission date close at heel who is going to take the responsibility of providing the PAN card? The whole system needs to be changed and certainly the woman-in charge of that PO.
But then does the Management in this department willing to listen and take action, most importantly, is the management capable of any action?

I agree. I bought a fragrance related item from US and in my case there was no tracking number, neverthless it never came to my home through post. They shipped it via DHL global priority mail. To test if i could get such items i bought a 2$ item and it was shipped correctly. I was under the impression that ofcourse the website is not a fraud one and also i should get the things i buy outside India and get it delivered via post. Next time i ordered 29$ product and it was ordered on 3rd Sep 2008 and another 2$ product on 7th Sep 2008 and so far I have never received it.

I understand that any product marked gift which comes to India via Air Parcel under 5000 RS/- should clear customs without any problems.

But in this case i have never recieved it.

I also bought something else from US website sometime back for 12$ and it never reached my home. I had to inform this to company who sold me the product and get the money back.

In India many government workers (Customs or postal service or cops, ministers, you name it, etc) are real [censored]s. If you strip their pants you will find an extra other than their real one and if you digg deep you will find the products worth other people's money hidden there.

Although this is trivial, no one can do anything about it. India SUCKS!!!

PPf account irregularties
I had PPF account no.381with Sector 22 Post office Faridabad. On my request In July 2008 account was transferred to SBI Faridabad. GPO Faridabad had sent all relevant papers for transfer to SBI except the cheque of Rs.3248 of the outstanding in the account.
A photocopy of the cheque no.679125 dated 26.7.08; Seq. no.[protected] Pres Bank[protected] for Rs.3248 was obtained which was found to have been cleared by Head Post office Sonepat. Since then we are regularly following up with Post offices at Faridabad and Sonepat but with no clue.

I had sold a cellphone via ebay (www.ebay.com) to a gentlemen in Tamil Nadu. I tried to send the parcel to him but neither the india post office not any other courier service accepted the courier stating it as "Security" reasons. Now i had gone to an extent to write a declartion form and submit it to the courier service that was ready to take the parcel but not one person agreed on that. I have check the India Post website for restricted items and no where there is a mention of Cellphone/Mobile phone.

Very sorry to state, the on going current affairs of our Post office, the recent incdent happened with me is as under.
I sent one Registered Parcel to Lucknow on 30th july09, from Andheri (RS)Post office, vide no<.4000561> RP B 12, COUNTER NO.2, OP-CODE;20. I was told that this will reach within 3-4 days, where as, it reached on 7th Aug09.There were New clothes in the Parcel, like silk saris, Shirt & pent pieces, and jeans etc, and were sent on the occassion of RAKHI. It is very sad to say that when the Parcel was opened, It was filled with bogus material, and the new clothes were all taken away.
I think it is useless for any one to expect anything in the prevailing situation of the country. But by this I want to warn my friends, and people around, that they may not get trapped like me.

Till then We have not received any information from any end.
Duing the Last 5 Years, we have been made complaint in Kadma Post office, Superintendent office of Jamshedpur Post office at Golmuri, Jamshedpur . Visted several times Purba Putiary Post office, Tollyganj Post office & Baruipur Post office ( KOlkata) in writing ( Document kept with us), But nobody give us a single reply till date . I do not know what is the fate of my balance amount and how can I get back my pass book.

Registered parcel (RL9948) on my name was received on 22/03/2010, and my son was available at home. However the postman has not handed the parcel to my son and left a chit asking us to collect from the post office. When I went to the office after a weeks time, I was told that the parcel was sent back.
when I enquired about the name from where the parcel had come, I was told that we don't maintain such information. Now in such a situation now can I come to know as to who had sent. Further more, postman has not taken trouble to inform us or bring the parcel the second time before sending back.

If you are sure that the RP contained the passport and the postal department is not handing it over to you then it is illegal to retain the passport of a person by any authority other than the Passport Office or the Police in case of any criminal act. The post office can not retain the passport under any legit. You have the full right file an FIR at the police station of the jurisdiction of that post office as well as your residence where the passport was supposed to be delivered.
In case you have been orally asked by the postal person to pay some money to deliver the passport then do include this as an act of bribe taking by the postal department.
Good Luck in obtaining your passport which is legally yours now!

as was told by indian post personnel, a registered mail sent from any place in India hardly takes 15 days to reach Germany. As can be obviously understood from the complaint, its more than 24 days when the mail has not reached. For sure, this is a serious matter, as mail are very-very and very urgent. Its a visa issue of an Indian in a foreign country, and this unexpected postal delay can cause a serious legal issue and therefore problem to the person.

my letter is regisry on dated[protected]. and now till dated, i have not received yet. i think it the fault of postal service. please help me to deliver my letter as soon as.

whether it is a compulsion to deliver the registered letter to the person whose name is printed on the letter or it can be delivered to any one who is present at home/office on the address written on the letter.

Dear sir.,

I want to bring to your notice that our letters are not delivering to me. For instance i have applied for PAN and received information from Income Tax Department it was dispatched and from that onwards i went regularly to post office for checking my card, but he said there is no card received for me and the same answer given daily for one month. After that i went into the post office and i have checked personally and found it was there in his room. In the same situation for my company registration certificate also came in the registered post, it was also not delivered from one month. And recently one more incident happend i have to receive Import and Export code from Foreign Department in the speed post in this case i have checked regularly from last 30 days, the post man given the same answer but it came and returned to the Foreign Trade Office. And the foreign Trade people not giving by hand and they said it will take minimum 3-4 months to deliver again because they want to investigate the address through proper channel after that only they said will send again to me. It was unexplainable my situation present now i have received a one export order with due date of[protected]. so without this certificate of import and export code i am unable to export the same. We are facing this problem from past 6 months

Please pay special attention to the same as similar problems are faced by a lot of people and according to me strict action needs to be taken immediately.

NOTE: SPECIAL NOTE FOR YOU I MET TO POST MASTER ALSO HE SAID HE IS NOT CONCERNED FOR THIS PROBLEMS AND HE IS NOT GIVING REPLY ALSO, HE WAS HARASSING THE PEOPLE LIKE ANYTHING.

Even though the above mentioned SB Pass Book sent for Closure about Four Years no payment has been done to meSofar.I lodged a Complaint in Sr.Superintendent of Post Offices, Prakasam Division, Ongole.I also personally Contacted at Ongole Head Post office.But no use.I got vexed because of repeated attempts and that is why now I am taking up this for kind consideration and Necessary action.Please have mercy upon me and make justice to me
